I'm curious: was this movie like A Bugs Life/Antz kinda deal where a rival studio found out about Disney's big soon-to-be-released film and hastily tried to rip it off? Because I'm getting that vibe from these clips.
Illumination Studios has yet to make a decent film. Bloated, lazy animation style. Jokes so stale, an entire senior living center just collectively rolled their eyes. The writing for the characters and stories is WHITE AS FUCK. At least they're consistent.
Oh man! Thanks a TON for making most of the end-credit jokes not encased in your advertisement. I actually stuck around to watch them this time.
Also, your joke about a Beetle singing the Beetles made me want to see an EWW for Kubo of the Two Strings

I went to see Rogue One on the afternoon this movie came out; the line was around the building to get tickets and I'd never even heard of this - but plenty of others were super excited to see it and talked about it like it was the best musical ever.
Then I stopped hearing about it. This may seem petty but I'm glad to have my suspicions confirmed re: the film's actual quality, and that Illumination can't seem to make an above-average film. I watch a lot of animated films but CinemeSins definitely saved me from this one! Entertaining, informative, and prophylactic. So many reasons to love CS!
