Having seen anti depressant adverts from the states - this hits hard.
Being a depressive myself and working at a GP surgery, I can testify that clinical "professionals" just can not wait to prescribe these things.
antidepressants are mostly placebo. be careful with any other psychiatric drug though the problem starts when you become a chronic user, X drug cause deadly seizures, Y drug causes loss of cortical matter and involuntary movements, and goes on...
