BUILDING A GIANT LASER TRAP MAZE To Exploit The Game - Orcs Must Die 3 Is Perfectly Balanced

oh my god we can have lasers all the way down the stairs this is like the worst nightclub in the universe how did people get to 80 million i just got one hit by a lighthawk that is how far we've come people will be talking about the moment when the spiffing brit and connor manage to get themselves to wave 50 and almost die free hello there ladies and gentlemen i'm the spiffing brit and welcome to orcs must die free a very simple game all about sopping pesky orcs getting into your portal in order to stop them from doing so you have a whole bunch of deadly and very evil traps at your disposal to loop them round a maze of death now there's only a few limiting factors stopping you from committing what is effectively an orc based genocide and that is money that's right money the limiting factor of just about everything in our universe stops us from creating gigantic mazes of death but naturally if you had enough money you could build whatever you like lasers on every wall lava pit traps everywhere blades flying left right and center you name it you can do it so today we're going to be breaking the game by generating absolutely infinite quantities of money and of course in order to help me do that today we've invited our lovely and favorite unpaid intern it's connor brown ladies and gentlemen hello everyone oh look at him he's so excited to be here today he was even promised a free cup of tea for turning up today that's how excited he is now today ladies and gentlemen we're playing the endless mode unlike most of the modes in the game we are going to be facing endless quantities of ever increasing numbers of enemies which will be getting stronger and stronger as the waves go on a level 1 enemy on the first wave is going to be absolutely weak but a level 1 enemy on wave 50 for example is going to be over 700 times as powerful it is going to get very very very silly so what's our aim our aim is to beat the high score of 87 million and if that's not possible we're going to see if we can last to wave 50. by which point the enemies will have become so powerful that our own personal weapons will be doing next to no damage whatsoever so if you're ready ladies and gentlemen make sure to like the video and let's dive into this impossible run now are you ready for this yes i'm ready good good i'd like to hear your enthusiasm now the setup for this exploit is very simple you don't need many things ladies and gentlemen you just need a co-op partner and also a one single item unlocked this barricade and you need to actually have upgraded your barricade so that it blocks two spaces and increases the cost that's all you need to do get this upgrade ignore everything else perfect now once you have a single piece of wood that you can put on the floor you've actually generated infinite money everything else is irrelevant here is connor he's exactly the same as me oh i can do that too you know look at me fly look at me fly now as you can see we have this lovely little maze in front of us or do you just fall out the map i did you do know that's not covered by the work health insurance i don't want you reporting me to the government that that was entirely your own fault so naturally orcs come from two directions this door up here and this door down here now between us we have 2 000 currency each to build a gigantic maze of death place down loads of traps and try and survive the endless wave of orcs now do you feel confident in your ability to do that no fantastic because i'm not confident in your abilities either so we need to make infinite money instead how do we make infinite money you get your barricade you eat it down onto the ground and then quite simply if we just wait hang on a sec don't just press it immediately you cheeky in turn um if we press the sell button at the exact same time something very interesting happens connor sells the trap and the money is returned to me because i place the trap but if i sell the trap at the exact same time well i also get the money from the trap so if i place this trap and we both press sell at the same time money is going to be generated now the way in which to do this most efficiently is probably to time it but instead we're just going to be mashing place and sell at the same time so you're ready to start spamming connor i'm ready fantastic three two one go and so we're just gonna keep spamming and you'll notice that in the bottom left my currency has actually increased from 2000 straight up to 8 000. now this is relatively good as we can see it's now up to 9000 and 10 000 and 11 000. this would normally take quite a few waves to actually generate this much money but instead we're doing this pretty much instantaneously now this is very useful as it means we can hopefully try and coat the entire map in traps making this level relatively easier the only downside for pulling off this exploit is that your fingers are likely to start breaking after one point or another and honestly i can feel the rsi kicking into my veins does the workers comp cover this no there's no workers compensation for this if you develop rsi it's entirely through fault of your own right we're up to 30 000 right i'm now up to 50 000. this is a fantastic quantity of money for us to actually start playing the game with so i'm thinking that i just place down as many tar traps as possible there we go we've just spent almost 25 000 on these little traps we're going to be using these laser ceiling traps they are pretty nice and jazzy as you can see they shoot lasers on the ground doing continuous damage luckily for us the enemies walk into this area get slowed down massively and then in order to add even more insult to injury we can even add in these lovely little butterfly-based distraction boxes i'll even add in some spike traps into the ceilings here these traps will set our enemies on fire i'm gonna put shooty traps all along the wall right i'm gonna need more money let's get more money going right three two one go perfectly balanced perfectly balanced and 100 not broken oh my god we can have lasers all the way down the stairs this is just this is like the worst nightclub in the universe this is horrible the entire first level is disgusting right you ready and away we go again this level is just going to be disgusting by the time we finish with it sorry master my uh my spam finger wasn't as fast that time i am very disappointed by your spam finger i'm afraid it's going to be removed create a situation where there is nowhere on this map which will be actually nice to look at there we go right up to 10k already 11k 13k that 15k 16k 20k there we go this is good get matching boy bash like you've never mashed before yes go spam spam the tastiest of canned meats this is actually disgusting but i love it at this point here it is no longer possible for us to ruin this map anymore this is peak vap we've done it it's not even wave one yet connor and look at this nightmarish disco we've created if you suffer from epilepsy you don't want to watch on from this point here there's just too many lasers on screen let's unleash the horde now on top of all of this we also have overpowered weapons in the form of the fact that i have this stone staff that can just turn anything into stone here come the enemies and um so far they're doing they're doing okay they have not made much progress at all oh dear oh dear oh dear oh no they almost made it to the third tile oh no not the third tile that's after the third tile our defenses are suddenly drastically weaker oh dear oh dear oh dear well we can even turn them into stone and there we go that's the first wave dealt with right let's unleash the horde oh my goodness they're coming from the bottom as well oh exciting no i think i can put archers on these stairs here and they can shoot the people coming through the door yes they can oh look at them go once again they don't really make it onto the third tile they kind of die on the second this is fantastic this is incredibly fantastic right there we go that's the end of wave two are you ready to unleash the horde you can actually start putting down some traps as well now i think about money if you have a bit of money you eat down some saw blades there's no space left what do you mean there's no space left if you run out of money yep that's what me already are okay you can only put down two of those god imagine being this poor imagine not having unlimited money pathetic when they make it to the third tile that will be an exciting day we will start seeing more and more difficult enemies arrive like currently it's just medium orcs which are you know about as strong as paper and then after that we might get the occasional strong boy we can just send in the next one straight away send in the next one i just love the fact that i can turn an endless wave of enemies into stone instantaneously we haven't seen any of the big boys yet i want to see how kind of like the trolls and the ogres the more difficult enemies do right next wave in nine seconds here we go wave five now this is where we should see something a little bit more spooky gosh this is just gonna be a walk in the park isn't it how far can we go i wonder if we could set the world record this is so unfair it's so broken just so broken well there we go that was the end of that wave as well uh you want to go straight to the next one already great look at them just hardly moving the tar and then just get yeated by all of the arrows and the lasers it's an ogre right let's see how he does let's watch him he's making a bit of progress he's on the second one he's on to the third he's made it to the third look at him go and he's dead okay he died on the fourth slash fifth that's pretty good we can put them here in the corner have i missed does it matter if i put a butterfly trap down does it matter is it going to change what we're seeing here send the next wave god this is just so unfair oh my goodness did you see how the ogre just turned around on the middle one because he got distracted by a butterfly oh there's some skulls lying around here on the floor that i can pick up oh kill streak oh yeah 38 kill streak make that 40. 50. nice this is good kill streaks oh the tactical kill streak i don't think we unlocked the nuke for a while yet damn it's much higher killstreak numbers than in what game is that i can't even remember call of duty call of duty yeah that's embarrassing very embarrassing oh my goodness have you seen our score we're up to 1 million what was the high score for this 87 million 87 million we can do it we can do it here comes mr moneybags where is he he's at the top he's at the top let's see him go he's doing good he's making good progress let me freeze the boys around him i can freeze him in place as well he's gonna die that's so overpowered look at it you can just stun lock him how's that allowed this weapon is so broken okay we don't even use much mana no you can use it four times and it's an aoe freeze as well there we go that was good good use of the grenades there very good i wonder when we get our next breather because currently only having three seconds between waves i feel like could get a bit anxiety and juicing after a while yeah there's gotta be another break heavy orc made it onto the lava and then died oh this boy's got the furnace look at him we made it to here yeah i'm impressed good job heavy hawks we're up to 1.5 million already after just two waves so i think score progression is gonna go very high very quick just being able to perpetually stun lock enemies at the start of the level with the fact that the mana regenerates so much faster and they're so slow on the tar pits is just ridiculous yeah it gives you so much time to react to everything oops you just fell off the map again i can see you down there what are you doing down there connor i'm fine i'm fine okay can you stop trying to throw yourself off the level please i'm interested to see what happens after like wave 20. do we get like more bosses or something did we just win oh no i got stun locked my character went into an animation i couldn't move so i thought it was the fortnite dance where's my fortnite dance there is no victory royale here number one victory royale yeah fortnight we bout to get down get down 10 kills on the board right now just wiped out tomato tap how can you remember the lyrics that scares me how can you not remember the iconic lyrics mr moneybags is back time to stun lock him and frozen in place and frozen in place again and frozen in place again my aim is to make sure he can't make it off the first two times [Laughter] and frozen in place again and he's dead there we go he made it two tiles into the base right well we're up to 2.3 million in terms of score so just a few more waves to go see if you can find me on the map there's a mini map there's a mini map right on the right of course oh yeah one i wonder where connor could be oh when you see him ladies and gentlemen wave and cheer oh do i fell out the level oh no no no i don't want to die i don't want to die i'm not ready to i'm just going to hover out i made it back i made it back come on let me let me up let me let me okay i'm gonna have to kill myself great well there goes my perfect no deaths run i can't believe someone okayed this stuff of just instant stun lock and infinite stun lock into the game this is quite possibly the worst bit of game design i've seen in a long while oh there's an armored ogre now look at him he's big he's angry dead because this is wave 20 so i'm expecting a new boss yeah we got a new boss got bored of the odd one said the disgruntled worker you're not disgruntled right right no of course not don't you guys start unionizing behind my back okay he's back is mr moneybags you've seen him once before well no twice before and he's back again to be stun locked on the second tile okay rope two almost four million score which is good so far none of them have made it to the midpoint of the level at all none of them have gotten close which is incredible to see i don't know if we're going to be able to beat the high score though oh look at him he's making some progress look at so good go he just got confused and then he got confused and he's going back now goodbye yoga and he's coming back and he's dead oh no he died what a travesty you also don't get bonuses at the end of waves anymore no but then again what would we do with them it's not like we can add anything more to the map beyond i guess just adding spikes to places spikes don't need to go i like what you've done with these saws they're great look at them go i love the fact that they can shoot in pretty much any direction that is insanely powerful yeah they just bounce around until they hit them something are you eating crisps yes i just ate a crisp you do know you're not allowed to eat on the job this is incredibly unprofessional of you i'll be bringing in harry the editor next time okay jeez he's getting hr involved i'm getting hr involved mr moneybags is back right let's go perpetually stunlock him yay gameplay balance he's got so much more health now i think he's up to like four times as original we are wave 25 i'm noting the 5 million score as well he's dead rest in peace i've got a nice warm cup of tea in front of me i might just sip it for a couple of waves oh okay he died jesus that's no time at all i was literally slamming e and i didn't even get removed and uh it does mean that we technically wouldn't be able to do the exploit after this point right because yeah we don't have enough time to sell so i guess that is the one limiting factor well here they come watch out now they'll chew you up and the only thing that really poses any challenge to us of the knolls that's just more on a personal level it's not like we get many of them each wave wait until we get an all-no wave now okay it's wave 30 is next and i think that's when we might get another boss or maybe just mr moneybags version five six they only have one boss maybe it's just one boss per map yeah but the lie talks are much much much more powerful the same for the medium orcs the medium orcs are now up to about the same health as the regular heavy orcs yeah look at how much more health they get mr moneybags is back for his sick attempt keeping him in the head and again stun lock he might make even less distance than last time i think it's possible oh no he's gonna make it oh he made it just one tile further than last oh one of them's made it through to the middle are they yeah an armored ogre has made it through to the middle whoa we made it one way made it quite a way the archers are going to end up being completely unusable aren't they yeah but they're not upgraded and instead i'm just using them here to take aggro and you know what they're doing it they're successfully taking aircrew yeah honestly the archers are more effective than the barricades because the fact they dish out damage yeah they're actually damaging stuff human casualties are perfectly acceptable okay human life is valued less than flimsy piece of wood in our opinion i think the only thing that's going to stop us in terms of our progress is when the annoying voice lines get too much and then we have to give up all right i can pretty much hold the entire top wave off with the uh stun yeah me just sitting here i can hold pretty much the entire top wave on the first few tiles for ages oh here comes the nose out dead the nose are very painful oh my god an old just jumped straight over the map they are they are so brokenly unfair uh i'm i'm actually now i can't move for some reason i'm hovering over the wall down it's because you've run out of mana ah double tap space yep space wait hold on the last ditch attempt okay oh good oh you did it you lived that was very impressive did you just say i love giraffes i love giraffes i love giraffes mr moneybags has made it right the way through to the middle by the way look at him come look at him go through the maze he's in he's on the dance floor and he's stuck there wow he's got a long way though yeah but we can just we can just keep him locked there we go like so and he's dead his health pool must now be insane because like wave 35 i'm pretty sure the developers only intend you to swap up to like wave 20 maximum i don't know how it's possible given the fact that you have so limited funds and the fact that heavy oak can walk through that many lasers and tar traps and get through to here that's just telling you how much health these boys have yeah yeah it's a heck of a lot how do they get 87 million uh hacking mostly uh or cheating or x maybe maybe they were exploiting oh imagine that imagine exploiting a video game jeez wouldn't be me honestly there's almost no point me just actually shooting and hitting the orcs because i just don't anywhere near enough damage to actually be useful i mean if you do you're gonna have to headshot at this point otherwise you just don't do anything and we're now at the point where the medium orcs can too hit me damn i'm pretty sure the knoll hunters can one hit me yep they can the no hunters are mental yeah just look at this chewing the him so much oh there's just an armada there being distracted by butterflies that was two seconds that wasn't even three no that was free it was just a very quick free all of the archers down here are dead no grenadiers and all hunters are just ludicrous well that armagogua has like pretty much max elf and shooting him in the head does nothing it does nothing absolutely nothing this boy well those archers are mental did you see how much damage they were doing yeah they don't even upgrade it they'd be so much better if i'd actually upgraded them i don't think we're even going to use them i guess they're the only thing that just uses one tile isn't it yeah oh my god this entire level is just a nightmare if we if we try it on a bigger map like a larger map what do you reckon it'd be even more effective well yeah because we have way more places to place stuff i know i just feel like the limiting factor of this exploit even if we had an infinitely large map would be that the enemy's health increasing at a percentage will multiply each turn yeah just gradually get so extremely insane there's no way to counter it 11 million it seems like our scores slowed down 11 million scores pretty good i'll take it i think the reason the score progress is slowing down is because the rate at which we kill enemies is is much lower now you say as we hit a 70 kill streak an 80 kill streak and 90 kills it's not enough we need more 100 killstreaks we've seen how many goddamn orcs there are oh there's a null hunter no no no no no he got distracted we're good okay we're good oh no there's the no no don't he almost won't hit you you're dead i was watching the kill streak coming oh god the knoll just won't hit me that is actually probably of a way of making money we do get money from kill streaks why are these archers doing anything wake up boys shoot them take a long time to react the distraction boxes are very effective no i'm too far away to sell traps no oh mr moneybags is back it's wave 40. where is mr moneybags here you are my boy i've got him stun locked up here he's still got an insane amount of health about halfway everything has so much health is particularly it's insane the medium orcs have gone from taking like two hits to kill to like 20 if not 30. our guns are just useless everything we have is just useless okay you're just shooting him directly in the head and it's doing nothing i'm literally just auto firing at his head we were shooting him and it just does nothing that's us and all of the archers oh oh i didn't have enough time you didn't even sell anything what are you doing that's so useless geez i'm the host as well i should have them you should have the ping advantage to actually be able to sell things right it's wave 42 we have a score of 12 million the game should have ended a long while ago i mean i don't think we're going to last that much longer but that's that's pretty bloody impressive yeah i just got one hit by an armadillo they're so powerful it's ridiculous i managed to swap out like oh my god i can see her eyes and mouth oh it's so hideous oh my god it is literally the worst oh i could do this oh fake yourself into corner it's horrible oh look at those teeth well we're actually starting to get them come through to here luckily they are getting confused wait next wave's not starting next wave isn't starting corner have we we've broken we've broken it won't stop too good wait i think i can see i can see him here's the last enemy he's back he's coming he's coming i don't know he's going he's confused he's really confused so confused that he couldn't get through the beginning of the map oh god honestly your grenades actually really useful because it pushes them into the water which is like a free kill on the medium and light orcs yeah the problem is that the orcs and above don't get affected by it yeah but there you go you just killed like four of them which would otherwise have taken like four years cool frozen were in place idea they killed one bear barricade oh my god oh i know no i know what's happened it's your grenade launcher it's thrown them up onto the barricades and they just won't hit them oh no they're going through oh no it's not the end it's not the end we've got 17 lives we've got 17 lives okay that'll slow him down right next time don't use your grenade launchers near the barricades okay that cost us three lives out i'm not doing any damage it's ridiculous oh my god nothing does any damage they've got so much this is so ridiculous there you go look at that they just got attacked by two traps they did basically nothing honestly just let the confusion butterflies do everything really mr moneybags is back it's way 45 oh god oh my god yeah we are not surviving this wave no i think i think we can do this one we can do this one but i need to go find mr moneybags and stun lock him where he is there's like multiple armored ogres making it throughout all right i've got mr money bag stuck in the middle somewhere he has got a lot of health so save up your mana oh my god actually so many of them are making through now there's something that there's so many through that last chamber how did people get to 80 million what the date what did they do they sold their soul to the devil for a high score in oxmoor style maybe they found a way to get the infinite stun lock off with these staffs maybe maybe there's like a tower that gives more mana they've got to just stand there for hours surely yeah but people will do that money bags is definitely making it through okay no that if you die if you die you reset your mana so honestly just get killed come back after you finish freezing them all in place right i can stand up probably twice more after this all right this is my last one i think oh my god we're not going to get him get the almond ogre get the oven okay wait he didn't make it he didn't do any damage what he didn't make no oh my god i'm dead i'm dead it's okay i'll come back i can freeze him again i can freeze him again there we go we did it we sacrificed everything but we did it i think this will be our last wave this is insane that was on the edge that one i just got one hit by a light orc a light orc that is how far we've come uh are you ready to sell all of the archers on either side yeah okay all of the aerotraps should fire i know you're gonna kill me i'm dead right no no no that was the worst timing possible oh my god leave that the beans that i've been properly being stepped and freeze and freeze freeze and freeze and kill me they aren't actually targeting the archers very often though which is really useful but there's just so many of them that's the problem this has been going so long my cup of tea has gone cold not your cup of tea not my cup of tea how are you meant to do this without cheating how our aim is wave 50. if we can hit weight 55 i didn't sell anything why was i talking i swear i only saw one pop up there i didn't even see three or two okay aim is wave 50. if we can reach wave 50 i'm happy we've done something it feels like we've made a difference in society people will be talking about the moment when the spiffing brit and conor managed to get themselves to wave 50 and also must die free that is what people will be writing about for years to come it'll be glorious it'll be the best of times it'll be the worst of times oh i just died that's fine it's fine it's good to die resets that mana pool all right i'll sell all of the ones on the uh stairs you sell all the ones on the right yep okay all of them got one card okay weight 49. just two more we have so oh my this is ridiculous i know it's okay just ignore the balance the balance is gone light talks are about 20 times as powerful as the level one ogres that we encountered the weakest enemies in the game are now some of the most powerful get me killed please someone kill me i need more mana i'm just jumping on the map oh that's so much more effective oh i just got killed one shot by that grenade i did as well just both of us just instantly died i just run through just unlock them all throw myself off the map and repeat well we're down to five we're down to five look we'll make it to 50. we'll make it to 50. no it's stunlocker ogres are ridiculous stunned and stunned and stunned stunned one left okay can you sell all of the ones on the left and i'll sell all the ones on the right yeah actually i need you here because i haven't got any more mana oh he's distracted okay it's fine yeah he's just gonna get perpetually distracted and go back yeah i think we can just set up ready him just leave him alone he's back to me he's going all the way back come on jay's just coming all the way back he's taking no damage though okay ready ready ready yep ah oh it takes me by surprise well no he came running up behind me about to hit me just as he died so i could only do half we are definitely dying this round sorry but yeah this is if there's so much a single knoll hunter it's it's pretty much over moneybags is back geez come on moneybags look at the mini map there's so many there's a heavy orc oh my god this is so bad this is the worst this is literally the worst i can see money bags i'm gonna try and stun him and then i'll die right i'm gonna go kill myself oh dear oh we got two two it's two this is it this is it it's over it's over ah it's over how did they go how did they get 80 million oh there we go oh we fought like dance stephen whether we lost even though oh 49 waves gg gg let's take a look at those stats minions killed 6 313 trap kills 6224 so we hardly killed any damage from traps 3.4 million oh wait yours is crazy high mine's terrible what's your damage from trap set my damage from traps is 266 000. oh that is prophetic and my damage dealt was 317 000. i did more damage than my traps do you want to know how much coin i earned how much coin did you earn because this is hmrc fudging the tax papers only 41 000 wait oh yeah mine's 41 000 so how does that work that's all the money we earned we didn't make any more money at no point did we earn any more money how many millions did you kill 6 313 yeah mine was 537 right let's um let's see where that puts us on the scoreboard let's leave this multiplayer game i want to see where that actually puts us 105 how are we not even in the top one that's it right i've had enough of this game ladies and gentlemen if you enjoyed watching the video make sure to give it a like if you believe that
