COPS CALLED for ARSON ***AGAIN*** ... Set It On FIRE

[Music] everybody wants to know what did it what who how why now i'm probably gonna get kicked out of here oh man what a haunting image this right here is where the first fire in otter creek was and now this this is the second fire in otter creek right across the street and as you can see every emergency personnel is here [Music] the entire road is blocked and everything everything is up in flames local residents contacted me [Applause] let me know what was going on looks like they might have opened the road back up oh my goodness whatever was there is completely and totally gone any idea what happened nobody knows the idea nobody knows nothing yet wow it's gone it's like gone gone you thought it was your place again huh who was that that lived across the street that was the yurty's family and they have uh their grandkids have been living there they moved out like two months ago so nobody's living there currently they were that they were going to school when they were living up and how they moved out their grant their mother passed away and moved home with a dad you think there's potential of more uh trespassing meth lab what do you think meth no the timing of everything is suspicious yeah to say the least it's definitely smoking it's definitely still on fire [Music] everybody's trying to figure out what's going on there's trucks everywhere [Applause] even brought the trucks from cedar key cedar key is a lot bigger oh it took the car out half the house is completely and totally gone took the car out look at that tires literally melted off half the house is still there but quite honestly that's not salvageable this is just devastating absolutely devastating still see some of the flames up in the rafters [Applause] well everybody's got an inkling a thought of what they think it could have been a speculation thankfully to my knowledge right now everybody is safe firefighters going back in there we go going after that one flame still got other officers around the property in the building right now see the smoke bellowing everywhere it'll be engulfing me here at any moment half the house saved half the house gone and now i'm probably gonna get kicked out of here no problem at all my guess is the officers had me back up they're probably doing a perimeter search probably still looking for probable cause any evidence as you can see even now the officers are back in here actually i should give them my o lights my lights will be a whole lot better than their lights i probably need to get them some old lights you see they're right in there yeah they definitely need some old lights see the smoke just billowing everywhere we got them from bronson which is 15 minutes away we got them from cedar key which is 15 minutes away unfortunately 15 minutes away means half the house is gone you can really see the devastation from here they're still fighting that aspect that part of the fire got another truck right here this one's from chieflin chiefland is also 15 minutes away from otter creek so everybody who came out and responded 15-minute radius from the town of ottawa creek and this is literally right in town this is the corner of 19 and 24 firefighters are getting water as the building goes up in smoke townspeople are everywhere post office right there sheriff are all around right now looking for probable cause at least that's my guess i really need to get them a no light everybody's waiting to find out what was it what did it sheriff for getting the firefighters water everybody wants to know what did it what who how why wow look at the entire portion of the front of the car the fire was so hot in the house it destroyed it literally melted the tires off the front of the car we've got one firefighter right here spraying one over here spraying we've got local sheriff over here still looking the perimeter i think i speak on behalf of all the townspeople thank you local firefighters from chiefland thank you local firefighters from bronson thank you local firefighters from cedar key and all of you what the hells fans if you want to call into the firehouses and tell them thank you as well i'm sure they would appreciate that looks like firefighters are coming in going out coming in going out whether they're doing shifts or whether they finally got it under control it very well could be under control and yet again as a fire it could just flare up immediately the danger is you've got woods everywhere now the one benefit is it's been raining all day so that makes it a little bit suspicious here we got the power company out here now power company is here makes it real suspicious with all the rain you can see the puddles of water everywhere it's been raining for the past two days and from what the others have told me the home was vacant for a couple months now [Applause] yeah these firefighters are working and working up uh working up a sweat no doubt do you imagine being that close i see in the house in the house well there's more firefighters in there i was gonna say there was more happening there's firefighters in the house no doubt these guys are working up a sweat being that close to the heat man [Applause] that is intense we'll see if we can ask one of them if they if they can determine what caused it you know what look at look at the beauty of the diversity here in this firefighting team we see young old male female that's a beautiful thing to see all that diversity god created us all differently and here it is being celebrated as everybody comes together to help and do something [Music] good there's still firefighters inside you can see inside right there yeah a solid power company here from 15 minutes away everybody chieflin's from 15 minutes away bronson's 15 minutes away cedar keys is 15 minutes away they're all here see if we can ask we'll see if we can ask what caused it comes another firefighter out of the house all right they got a confab going on little meeting got another firefighter going in the house yeah there's there's still fire in the house they keep going in with another hoses that's definitely got to be the hot spot with all that smoke billowing out of there let's see if we can ask any idea what caused it any idea what caused it none thank you thanks for doing what you guys do all right fire inspector has to come out yep they got another hose going on in the house fire inspector's already here if you guys remember when my uh my apartment complex was on fire smoke alarms right now that's probably a great idea the fire inspector comes out with the team now in my apartment complex the fire was based on a stove being left on but there was supposed to be nobody here boy lucky our propane tank didn't go off got a fire got a fireman still inside got one on the outside still man it just torched that car blew the windows out it was so hot melted the front tires and blew the windows out local sheriff wow wow this is crazy 45.99 more firefighters now they have to get it under control enough for the fire inspector to go inside and determine cause so insurance company is going to want to know cause fire inspector actually determines cause reports that to the insurance company that insurance company determines whether it's payable or not based on cause so fire inspectors here all the other firefighters are probably gonna go they can't say anything can't say anything and that's appropriate they don't want to say the wrong thing they've done a great thing just getting everything under control still see smoking everywhere [Applause] water trucks still coming in lights everywhere road shut down we'll still see if we can get a cause here we go here's another firefighter going in right over on this corner we're definitely talking about it not sure we're gonna get any information on it the big thing is going to be cause what caused it you still see there are firefighters inside in the hot zone okay firefox looks like she's going in with the hook all right he's spraying she's going in with the hook now probably going to pull any of the hot embers out robinson's going in now right there right literally across the street from the tanker that's where the other fire was here in ottawa creek very very odd the fire jumps across the street two months later now we got a lot of information on the fire across the street we even had people saying hey i know who did it but um we never got any confirming information by the way that uh reward is up to three thousand dollars any information that leads to the conviction of the individual who started the fire across the street all right she's back with the hook let's see let's see if we can ask her what the hook does what's the hook does it just pull it just pulls the hot you got it you want me to get it all right the hook the hook is to pull down any of the rafters that are still hot so she'll pull it she'll pull it down she'll actually cause the structure to collapse so that they can continue to spray these guys are tuckered these guys are tuckered working hard hard and hot and look at this they're they're literally puddles of water from two days of rain looks like they're getting ready to go inside to determine what the cause is yeah it looks like they're gonna head inside maybe nope maybe not but look look see inside see the lights they're in there they're in there look at that lights coming at us they're in there right now hitting the hot spots i still see fire in there hitting the hot spots and determining the cause there right there i should have brought my uh my bagel light for these guys we're still going to see if we can find out what the cause is if they determine the cause it's like brett's going up they're knocking they're knocking the rafters down where the fire is [Music] look at this look at this they're getting the saw out now look at this look at this right now they're literally concrete salt he's got a concrete saw he's going after something i think they're they're gonna pull it all away he's got hose behind him everything's smoking here they go here they go here they go [Music] ah oh [Applause] um gonna cut the rest of the the metal roofing they gotta flip that over you gotta flip that over and get to the hot wood local sheriff there fire department here again three fire departments there's still there's another sheriff walking in the background looking for any evidence they're going to try flipping it over they've got the hook here they go here they go they're going to cut it piece by piece flip it get to the hot stuff look at that look at that that fire's trapped under there that steel is trapping the fire under there [Music] oh they're doing their best it's still attached somewhere here comes the chainsaw almost got it almost got it so close there they go they're gonna pull and here we go here we go pulling her back now they can get the water on all that they just knocked the west of the windows out these guys are beat but they continue on they need to get that glass out of there so they don't get hurt they're going in with chainsaws what a mess what a mess [Music] wow piece by piece the real question is who would do such a horrible thing we're gonna have to find out what the cause is determined [Music] we've got to get all this steel out of here to cool off the hot spots [Music] wow wow look at that look at that there's a dryer under there you see the dryer there's a fire on top of the dryer they're coming in right now to pull it you see that i don't know if it's a gas dryer look at that the dryer's tipping over right now there it goes that's a dryer they've got water on it now now again the dryer shouldn't have been used from everything everybody's telling me locally this place has been empty for a couple months now so the dryer should not be the cause of the fire although i believe they're probably going to leave it there for the fire inspector as this is obviously the epicenter of where everything happened the fire inspector is going to have to inspect there first make the final determination it's mostly under control now they're setting up spotlights right here so the fire inspector can determine the cause [Applause] just a matter of him getting in there inspecting and figuring it out now this is the aftermath of the fire last night oh man jeez look at this look at this windows completely blown out i was so lucky somebody wasn't in there windows blown out tires melted completely off the rim wow just wow wow i don't even know what to say is that charcoal [Applause] is it me or is that charcoal biscuits right there [Applause] okay here's where they pulled the aluminum oh everything just smells like burnt house right now i believe that's charcoal biscuits i think that's charcoal biscuits right there i'm not gonna touch anything in case the fire inspector hasn't been here yet it's just gone it's all gone jeez oh wow i'm not gonna go into the house it's not my home and i don't know if the fire inspector has been here yet but this is just why are there charcoal biscuits in the car let's just go around here it burned all the way out through the back you can see everything all the devastation here so it burned through everything there's an old motorcycle there's an old motorcycle right there and then i believe that was a dryer this bike the smell is so intense right now let's go peek in the window this is so sad oh man oh man drum set yeah man just complete and total devastation this is so sad looks like firefighters were going pulling stuff out yeah the flames burst through the door there again i'm not gonna go inside but you can see the complete devastation see where the flames started to come in through there and boom screwdriver they must they had to shut the power off i mean the smoke was billowing out you can see it was billowing out everywhere this is the firefighters were just so consumed with thirst oh what a nightmare this is just horrible what an absolute nightmare i feel so bad for the family see if we can do something for him what a haunting image a reminder of how dangerous fire actually is which has left many to ask the question do we have a pyromaniac in the neighborhood
