Astonishing Piece of American History Found!! | Metal Detecting Adventure

[Music] [Music] well you probably note it and here bringing pretty good today but we're still going to try to make a day of it and see what we can find it will suck great off and on to the liquor wave them out [Music] all right so I'm going to switch out to a different coils today I've been really using this one a lot the last few months and I'm going to switch out to the smaller one and the bigger one today and if you'll notice I'm pretty rough on my equipment out here in the woods I've had to do some modifications to my stuff on my stock coil both of these rings broke so I actually glued on some plastic washers and I don't know what this material is made out of but nature to use glass impregnated plastic here so that stuff it's not going to break go ahead to be back and I know I've seen lots of YouTube videos on what to do about this box falling off it started out with two screws here which are too short some reason and the posts bust off so I put in longer screws and then those broke out so I just kind of fabricated myself some supplemental there and just to have a little extra help and put on some zip ties as well with holes drilled through that cross over there that is not going anywhere now so anyway I'm going to I'm going to put on my big ol Mel storm coil I think you find something with that alright so the Sun is starting to peak through here which is awesome the cellar hole is here and I'm standing in what is right now a river I don't know if it's always a river or if it's just wet sometimes you can see the water comes down through here and goes on down and it's pretty wide and very close to the cellar hole and I've already dug a little buckle piece and a button in here and I've got a hole here started this solid sixty very deep all right we get here another button yeah little flat button a little flat button looks like it's got some dots or something on there it's kind of cool you know I just took a minute to look at this button computer so it's definitely old and it sure looks like these are letters this looks like an a down here maybe a T next to it you know I could be wrong but it looks like an umbrella in the middle there doesn't it weird all right well I don't know anything about it right now but uh do some research on it maybe we can puppy or something out interesting so it's nothing spectacular but I thought it was kind of cool maybe you can see maybe you can't right here right here right here and right here in a matter of maybe five minutes I dug four buttons we got a little tiny Tom Bakk one we've got a more modern well 1850s style and then two kind of interesting pewter buttons we've got this kind of interesting one with a shank on and then this one actually has a little little design on there so it's pretty awesome I'll take buns like this all day all right it did a if you signal here during in the AE but not every direction and it's higher and down in their little iron buckle iron but the state of it makes me the high collar right have you got a head start on this one because the target was so faint but a little better now on the 80 this little coil that I just put on a little further with it here like a button whoa are you kidding me it's another one it's a freaking another one one of these King and Constitution and look at this one it's like perfect all of the gold guilt is still there oh my god in the shank still there oh wow when I found the other one of these I didn't know how excited to get because I didn't know what it was but I am very excited to find another one of these things you know in school growing up when we learned about the Revolutionary War it seemed pretty clear that it was the American versus the British obviously there were other parties involved but you know no taxation without representation let's go to war and become a country but here are a lot of people apparently up here in the mountains who didn't want anything to do with it and wanted to remain loyal to the British and apparently one of those people lived up here because on two of these buttons now I'm saying this one is beautiful amazing all right losing our sunlight so the clock is ticking before starts raining again stop to have a snack moved up the mountain and I'm going to stick with the little the little coil around the whole different whole this time and we're going to swap the big mill storm keep again find something all these ferns a lot of area to cover something see how we do we're not going to be able to walk the detector this book how awesome is that ferns are about waist-high maybe we'll come back in the spring quiet 56:57 oh nice that is uh too bad it's broken there's more oh nice it is the rest of it but what we have is a saddle shield broken nice so you can see the posts on the back it would have been affixed to leather used to decorate a saddle I found them in the past with stars and stripes on there but judging by that loyalist pin I don't think that that would find one of those up here pretty awesome [Music] [Applause] all right well I decided to move on down the mountain having to work really hard to find some solid targets and then when I did they were all kind of modern shell casings and bullets I did find some aka ground and the problem with ak-47 round is you never find just one so those were everywhere so I got out of there and now we're at a super junk tau cellar which I've never spent any time at because it is so trashed you can see there's a mattress right here and bottles everywhere anyway I was digging around and my first hole that I've dug what appears to be an Indian head the date on that it's hard to say I think it's 1902 so it's about 150 years newer and the stuff I was finding further up the mountain but first coin of the day so I'm happy all right folks gonna call it a day the long day the rain never came back which okay in my book the problem with rain is not that I want to get wet I'm already pretty wet it's that the mosquitoes come out like crazy and funny story three years ago I was out metal detecting and I didn't bring my bug spray and I got bitten up I got really sick and turned out I got West Nile virus on mosquito and Palma Vermont as a doctor said most young people live so you should be a face Oh perfect thank you anyway so now I carry bug spray everywhere but when it rains man those bugs are just in your face can't hand it but anyway it was a it was a long day and I didn't find it kind of stuff but that button man I am super super excited about all right we've got ten just plain old buttons a couple of them are time back a couple of them are pewter a couple of buckles that knife one single coin which is the indian head have the pewter button which has the I always forget which way to pronounce it I think it's Florida leaf with an S on the end I always forget to pronounce the SPN I got my pewter mystery umbrella bun hopefully I can find some information out on that and then the cream of the crop here the King and constitution fun just immaculate shaped with a shank in my broken saddle shield which I'm going to try my darndest to glue back together again once I get home I
