Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
All these people keep saying that there were human sacrifices at astroworld and itโs the work of the devil, and evil, but whatโs actually scary is that it was just a bunch of people lacking empathy in a bad situation and acting in their own self interests that killed those people.
Iโve been in pits where my feet werenโt even on the ground and you just fall into everyone around you and canโt move or help yourself or anyone, just falling into people, no control over your body - it is literal hell and panic.
Those days trying to get front row at festivals are definitely behind me. Iโve had amazing experiences being front row where Iโve cried tears of joy because of how special the music and crowd energy was. When itโs good, itโs so fucking good. But when itโs not, peopleโs lives are genuinely in danger.
Glad we could decompress after that segment, truly makes me sick to my stomach.
Great episode, really riveting stuff from that caller Marco. I hope heโs okay. Such a fucked up situation. The freestyle rapping at the end sent me, and definitely was a good palate cleanser after that heavy segment about astroworld. Another banger! H3 crew and Ethan, please stand up! ๐๐๐๐
The Travis Scott situation reminds me of an incident that happened in Germany in 2010. It's called the Love Parade Disaster. Basically what happened is there was a huge festival and one of the entrances was a kind of tunnel which acted as kind of a bottleneck situation. People got crushed and trampled in there. 21 died, over 600 were injured. It's a national tragedy here and if anyone just says the words "Love Parade" everyone knows and remembers.
I hope this Travis Scott incident is a similar wake-up call to America. Whoever planned the event clearly failed and should be held accountable. Yes, Travis is responsible, too but don't forget that there were people involved who's literal job it is to avoid disasters like this.
4 hours?!
Just wanna remind you all of that time Bernie stopped mid-speech to run offstage and help a supporter who fainted. https://youtu.be/bfMDC0UmpvA
