The distant "...STOP" soundbite makes me laugh everytime
I keep hearing it being said that the house was "sold" for 10 mil. or "bought" for 10 mil. It was not. No one bid on it during the auction and it was returned to the bank. They told a really long and convoluted story full of lies to trick their audience.
The bottom line is they had a mortgage and didn't pay their bills so it was foreclosed on. PERIOD. It's mind boggling to me how many youtubers are reviewing this story and coming out the other end feeling bad for the Ace family. This home was yet another Ace Family scam.

Construction Loan!!!!!! It's a construction loan.
It is NOT a mortgage
The entire thing is explained with a construction loan!!!! I was screaming the whole time.
That's why they had money for the build, but not the furniture and other random things. FF&E often is not covered in the loan: the liveable furniture that is not considered permanent.
When the house wasn't done in time, they couldn't finish it because they couldn't get an extension or a line of credit increase on the construction loan.
Either they missed payments and the LOC was cut off, leading to the money for finishing the job becoming non-existant. OR, they came in over budget and couldn't satisfy the banks requirements to increase the loan.
The money spent on the build was from a construction loan signed by them and the contractor both (I assume.)
Contractor and Consultant in Montana. This is just my opinion. But from the start of the story all I could think was that it was a construction loan.

Courtney if you're reading this, you have been my favorite call in so far! You made me laugh several times and I actually got disappointed whenever the ace video stopped talking about construction because it meant you couldn't chime in lol.

Here in Ontario we have Canada's Dinosaur Park, which has life size animatronic dinosaurs (many of them feathered). It is an absolute dream for small dino lovers. A long trip for Theodore, but some of my Canuck foot soldiers may enjoy it!
