[Music] first Timothy chapter 5 verse 20 first Timothy chapter 5 verse 20 one of the common arguments against Bible believing Christians is why is it that we keep preaching negative things so the things are unnecessary and I believe it or not you'll get some of these people in our church will question me is hell necessary if sin necessary etc etc now it should be a no-brainer it should be yes but there are some people now believe it or not I had a person telling me that Jesus did not preach on hell and I was like I was like no it's the opposite he preached on hell more than any other person in the Bible so for a person who's to save Christian he doesn't know much so the thing is is that we know that Joel Osteen he would give excuses that that's not my ministry Larry he said that on CNN he said my ministry is to be an encouragement a motivator other people that's their ministry but not mine but that's not true every bible-believing preacher who is called to Pastor a church is held accountable and must preach everything we're gonna look at first Timothy chapter 5 and verse 20 notice what the Word of God says now these are important verses because you'd be surprised how many people you might come across who will be against the way you preach and the way you believe so you want to show them a Bible verse what it says that way they can't speak against the Word of God okay so here are a few verses that you can use to prove that we must preach what is negative as well for sympathy chapter 5 and verse 20 the Word of God reads over here them that sin what does it say rebuke before all that others also may fear oh you don't have to repeat know you have to rebuke the says that if a person sin you rebuke before all why so that others may learn to fear let's look at second Timothy chapter 4 2nd Timothy chapter 4 verse 2 2nd Timothy chapter 4 and verse 2 sin is not condone sin is not condone homosexuality we stand against that oh we don't have to mention it no you gotta mention it we don't have to mention about liberalism no you should mention it oh we don't have to mention about what's going on with our current events and the kind of sin that they condone and a lot no you should mention it then that sin rebuke before also that others may also learn to fear you don't have to preach on those subjects in the church about their dressing the music that they're listening to I mean in time through your outward testimony they can see the love of Jesus no preacher you should preach against that that's the reason why you allow you have a lot of carnality in your church now don't get me wrong you know me as a Bible believing pastor I have trained you and I definitely disapprove of members nitpicking and critiquing each other our job is to encourage one another but this does not mean that a pastor when he goes up to preach that he does the same thing as he does in fellowship is a totally different story when you're preaching you're preaching from the Word of God and that word of God contains like 75% or more negativity and we don't see that out of the pulpit there's something wrong with you how people change in the church is not by people critiquing one another but rather from the preaching of the word of God you'd be surprised how many times a pastor does not even have to approach a member critique a member as long as he preaches out that book like he's supposed to see that my dad always told me something where ever I have some kind of issue in the church he mentions this is that a son you just gotta love him be patient with them and I'm like but then it will encourage this kind of sin in the church and he said you just preach and you know what 99% of the time preaching always works see that's why you have to preach the whole counsel of God you'd be surprised how much preaching will get the job done where you don't have to be the troublemaker within the church as long as you preach the word all right second Timothy 4:2 preach the word be instant in season out of season reprove rebuke exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine you'll notice right here that doctrine is important oh we don't talk about doctrine in the church now you should teach on doctrine in the church that's why you're gonna have a bunch of effeminate unknowledgeable Christian sissies who are eventually good pray for the world to swallow them up and even the liberal schools if you're not careful that's what you got to train them with doctrine you'll notice that negativity is mentioned here with rebuking with mentioning about sin with also concerning from their false teachers out there so they can't help but be attracted to the preacher of the word of God over here so which is a big blessing but look I don't worry and panic if I talk about certain let you guys down on okay let's also look at 2nd Timothy chapter 4 verse 2 now we're going to look at verses 2 through 4 okay now we're going to look at a more specific area here we're gonna look at verses 2 through 4 over here notice right here the Bible says we read verse 2 now verse 3 for the time will come ah this is what you want to know when they will not endure what sound doctrine look at that doctrine is the issue with these new evangelical churches you want to mark that down sound doctrine that's an issue including independent fundamental Baptist churches they think that it's not a big deal concerning about the doctrines that we Bible believers teach but it is a big deal that's why the independent fundamental Baptist churches are falling prey into Calvinists preachers they're falling into the emergent and worldly church movements from the new evangelical and the emergent churches why because they're not grounded in doctrine that's why some of them are afraid to get into deep doctrine even the crazy stuff that I would teach about you be surprised how much of that could be important later on in life now that's not a priority number one issue if that is a priority number one issue you got mental issues yourself because obviously soul-winning drawing in grace reading your Bible is the number one priority which the IFB churches may get right on but see they neglect the deep doctrine deep doctrine can be very important where it can contribute to those basics of growing in grace and other things in life you'd be surprised okay but let's look at verse three again but after their own what lusts that's why you go to those big churches you know why it's a lust issue it's a matter of I want to see someone of my own age group they have better music over there that I enjoy for two hours the sermon is much shorter and it's down to earth where fits my level where it's more of an entertainment you know they they come in like casually dress the way however way you want so I can come into church dressed however way that I want to I mean the churches have many social programs I mean it's so much fun and games and see lusts that's a lost issue and unfortunately independent fundamental Baptist churches are following into that lust program of building big churches now don't get me wrong don't get mad at me I know the Lord mightily use tiles but Hiles had a major problem with gimmicks and that's why his church grew really really huge it was a lust issue and that's why some the preachers there are some scandals going on okay that's all I'm going to say about that one all right let's look at let's keep reading right here after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears that's why they concentrate on devotionals positivity what makes your life better tickles your ears they teach those subjects they don't teach doctrine let's look verse 4 and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables that's what's gonna happen that's why you're gonna say the fable that Jesus did not preach on hell how do you get that far along the line because you're so used to the positivity that a brainwashed your mind you start to believe fables now now here's something that you got to understand this is very important the lot of people have trouble believing you listening to a Bible believing pastor because the their own pastor the neo evangelical pastor he is so nice that's why it's hard to go against it the pastor maybe also sincere and loving which is very true he can really show that he can really care for the members so it's hard to speak up against these preachers but what you gotta understand is that let me tell you something this is something you got to know in your head even if he's the nicest person in the world a million times better than me and I'm sure there are plenty of neo evangelical pastors out there who are nicer than me too I'll even acknowledge that but even if he's the nicest person in the world he is still a bad pastor you might say no why why would you say that the reason why is because he rarely preaches negative things and he mostly says positive things see a pastor's job is verse 2 3 4 is he a good pastor if he violates verse two and then instead he goes by three and for false teacher false pastors that's not a good pastor that's a bad pastor you want to remember that of course the pastor is nice in your eyes because he never said any negative thing to you that's so obvious that's why he's nice to you that's why Jean Kim is a mean pastor you know why because he preaches the 75 percentage to the 85 percentage negative things including doctrines that can be controversial that's the reason why he's a bad pastor who does not really care for his church you know why because God said his job as a pastor who's supposed to care for the church is to rebuke is to teach all doctrine all right let's look at 2nd Timothy chapter 3 saying Timothy chapter 3 verses 1 through 5 1 to 5 okay do you know why people like nice pastor so then tell your friends and loved ones this because I know you got those people most people think are typical pastor is the one who smiles at you who speaks nice things you want to fix their brainwash mentality and how you're going to do that is where you convict them where you show them right here that maybe the issue is because you like to hear nice things and that's a telltale sign of carnality right there so these are the two verses that you want to show concerning about the problem is the people who seek positivity okay let's look at these two passages over here this know also then the last days perilous times shall come look at this I mean this is the last days of the church you see it for men shall be lovers of their own selves I can preach a 45-minute sermon just on that one deep down inside I don't care if you're a Bible believing Christian who attended our church for years look at this see preachers are sincere loving they'll mention about Jesus Joel Osteen might even give all the accurate theological terms in a sinner's prayer that way he can get away with it that oh I do give the Salvation gospel at the end they can do all that kind of stuff but look at this having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such what turn away see that you know what they're looking at they're only looking at the good points of the pastor's when you keep doing that it's so obvious you're not going to see what's wrong with those neo evangelical pastors you can't find what's wrong with them if you keep finding something good keep that in mind okay second Timothy 4 verse 3 we read that before but it bears repeating about the people's issue what they can't and your sound doctrine it's their lust issue they want it have their ears tickled and itched that's second Timothy 4:3 so these are two important passages that you've got to show the people that it's your problem right here not the preachers problem you are the problem not the preacher now let's look at Matthew chapter 5 how do we know they're the problem just go through the list of 2nd Timothy 3 see how much applies to them then compare that with 2nd Timothy 4:3 and explain to them maybe that's why you see those pastors because they don't touch on your sin issue they tickle you making you comfortable in your carnality so these two verses can go side by side where you're gonna have to use it for today's modern generation all right let's look at Matthew chapter 5 verse 22 now Jesus okay contrary to what a lot of people think she preached on hell more than any other person in the Bible I don't believe it preacher well okay I'm gonna write it in red right here because this is about Hell and people like to put the words of Jesus in red anyway right so let's do it that way now I'm gonna write all the verses and don't tell me Jesus didn't preach a lot on Hell he preached more on Hell than any other person in the Bible mark these down Matthew 5:22 because we're not going to read all of them 29 through 30 - not enough chapter 10 and verse 28 if that's not enough chapter 11 and verse 23 if that's not enough chapter 16 and verse 18 if that's not enough chapter 18 and verse 9 you'll notice this is all in one book so far now don't be crazy now okay don't be crazy and saying Jesus was all about love and why would he preach on hell and sin these and then these stupid liberal commentators news media reporters these comedians shoot off their mouths they don't know what verse 15 now I'm still on one book you'll notice chapter 23 and verse 33 mark chapter 9 finally we're at a second book chapter 9 and verse 43 then you'll notice verse 45 he says it again verse 47 he says it again he says he'll three times see all right in one Herman Luke chapter 10 and verse five excuse me verse 15 I'm wrong about that the other passage is also Luke chapter 12 and verse five and then chapter 16 verse 23 now let's finally stop shall we I think this is more than enough now I just went by the first three books and then I just gave up from there now don't tell me Jesus did not preach on hell after that okay it makes so much sense why your modern Bible translations they want to change the word hell to Co 80s or take it out you know why because then you can get this kind of a mention of Jesus mentioning hell or practically none and that would explain why new evangelical pastors preach the way that they preach thinking Jesus did not preach so much on hell and that's probably one of the reasons why they would love modern versions evil fruit man evil fruit see all that's tied together modern versions effects the new evangelical style of preach and they're all related I'll relate it over there okay now let's look at a couple of verses okay let's look at the language of Jesus verse 22 but I say unto you that whosoever so we're I'm Matthew 5:22 you might recall I asked you to turn there but I say unto you that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment and whosoever shall say to his brother raca shall be in danger of the council beuse whoever shall say thou fool shall be in danger of Hell fire look at that look at chapter 10 and verse 28 we're gonna look at chapter 10 and verse 28 now notice that Jesus made sure to mention hell is very scary oh I don't believe in scaring people about Hell like you should just mention Hell but don't make it scary no he'll notice how Jesus made it very scary Matthew 10:28 and fear not them which kill the body but are not able to kill the soul but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell that's scary that's scary ji said basically that any torture on this earth that you go through is far better than burning in hell how about that huh she is did not paint a pretty picture on hell did he all right let's look at chapter 23 chapter 23 and verse 15 look how sweet and loving Jesus was at this passage you can tell that he was full of the love of God at this verse chapter 23 and verse 15 chapter 23 and verse 15 now don't don't act all hypocritical and sensitive telling me that oh you don't preach on love you're saying that we should hate people and you quit and you condone these Street preachers who act like jerks and then expose people's sins and talk about you're burning in hell you're bringing it out don't accuse me of that nonsense don't be stupid now you've seen me preach for a long time these kind of street preachers they have a problem with not giving the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ they give a false plan of salvation and not only that all they harp about is just agitating people they don't show them the way out that's their problem why do you think we rebuke sin we rebuke sin to agitate people or to get them to get right with God so that they can live a better life for Jesus Christ you think I preach on sin because I just love kicking people or is it because I want to see someone change his or her life for Jesus Christ all right so don't get all sensitive and be all millennial on me and start weeping serpents ye generation of vipers how can he escape the damnation of hell now you try Street preaching that you'll get a lot of people glaring at you hating you you'll get them hating you after that now if they would call us if they look at you as like you're some kind of hate preacher imagine that it was Jesus they could not tell the difference if it was Jesus saying this they would point their same bony fingers right at Jesus and says you're a hate monger and Jesus said I am Jesus Christ what do you think all these kind of idiotic liberals would say after that these idiotic neil now that's the fruit man that's the fruit of evil and wickedness I remember my dad and my dad he always likes to take preachers to the best places one of the best places the false churches neo-evangelicalism so one time he took the Korean pastors to the whole wicked he took them to Trinity Broadcasting Network where Paul Jan Crouch was that he took them to Rick Warren's church he took them to Crystal Cathedral like he if you guys want to visit my dad's Church and he takes you out he'll take you to all the false churches and he'll take you he took dr. David Walker to Crystal Cathedral and by that time crystal cathedrals ministry was like gone that time it was Catholic and then dr. Walker said all they had over there when we dropped by was that they were cutting people's hair you know they were come they were cutting hair of the homeless people that was it you know that's her ministry now you know and then when they went to Greg Lori's Church they didn't even walk inside cuz if you look inside it looks demonic obviously with their rock music they're contemporary musics just scary and the officer said come on in and dr. famous like Joel Osteen with Oprah advertising your book now if you go that far there's something mentally wrong with you all right you're not a pastor period period period you know what you just want you just want worldly recognition and fame okay so yes we believe in positivity but it's under the will of God you want to mark that down so we believe in positivity amen we believe in that we believe in positivity but the positivity must be underneath the will of God how many do you get in this world where they like that I can I will God loves me but it's totally outside of God's will God loves homosexuals and you know God loves me for who I am because he created me and born that way you better shut up before the wrath of God falls on you that's see that kind of positivity mindset that's outside of God's will that's what we're against we believe in loving one another we believe that man praise the Lord if you're a saved Christian that God loves you in his love will never separate from you no matter what sins you commit down the road but man it's got to be underneath God's will it's got to be abiding by the scripture if it's outside of that then there's something wrong with you notice Philippians 4:13 I can yes positivity do all things but what through Christ not outside of Christ it's got to be underneath God's will now look at Genesis chapter 27 didn't you know that this me and they become atheist you ever wonder why young people become like that because churches preach this kind of garbage of positivity positivity so you got a bunch of spoiled brats a ruined generation that thing God is giving them candy and when they go through problems in life the easiest person to blame is God and not on themselves not on the sins of mankind your ruin wreck man Bart and they expect how they find the love of God is as long as if flesh feels comfortable as long their flesh is fed but then when God makes their flesh uncomfortable puts a trial in their life where neither fit for the dunghill that's found that Luke and then he mentioned about twofold more the child of Hell than yourselves now you update that today's language and you know that's pretty crude let's just say okay now what's the point right here see the point is we live in a day and age where we're not used where we when we hear this kind of stuff that we say this is troubling to me but which is very sad which is why it's very sad for this preacher where he has to constantly explain things like I don't know if you notice this but it was kind of subtle you notice that before the blow out happened or during the blow out I would have to explain some things before the preachers would preach or before we would do the singing and etc you know why I have to do that if I don't do that I know today's generation they're gonna feel weirded out they're gonna feel uncomfortable you know why we're not used to that we're so used to the modern trend of doing things see that but during the Great Awakening revivals and the year-end biblical times people ran people shouted I mean these preachers made fun of the false prophets and then I mean one of them plucked off the beard cursed at in this Christian day and age if you're not sure that you can go to heaven after you die it's very simple to get saved first of all you have to understand that because of sin God is a holy God and he cannot even allow one percent of sin into heaven so he has to judge sin with a burning hell so it is very important that you got to realize how serious sin is and you must repent you might say well then I guess I have to clean up all my sins I guess I have to go to church I guess I have to get baptized I have to I have to be a good person you know my friend good works can never save you Jesus is God who died buried and resurrected so that he can pay all the sins for you you don't have to pay a single sin for yourself so all you have to do as a repentant sinner is turn to what he did on the cross alone for your salvation you might say well pastor I do believe only on what Jesus did on the cross to save me that's great then all you have to do is just say that to the Lord you might say well preacher I haven't prayed much before in my life I don't know really how to say it to God can you help me out sure you could say it this way dear God I know I'm a sinner as I repent I put my faith that Jesus is God and that he died buried and resurrected so that his blood can wash away my sins I put my faith in that alone to save me not my good works in Jesus name I pray amen
