very excited to play this i have played the wii u version it was a while ago and i don't remember much about it so that along with the new content should make for a very fresh pikmin experience old viewers of the channel may remember drunk pikmin i have my goofy juice today and i will be sampling it uh every time i lose pikmin it won't be one like dose per dead pikmin because i i don't want to die pikmin 3 is not too hard so uh i figured it should be fun right should be fine nothing bad will happen what's goofy juice it's goofy juice and i also have some malibu anyway i also have old reliable the monkey mug i'm not gonna have face cam the whole time maybe just when i drink yes i like this game i've played this game i like this game it's a good game i maybe don't like it quite as much as the first one it's the same sort of deal with the second one first one i like best two and three they're great they're just not as good ah oh that font i'm right back at home i'm gonna do normal mode a sweet and frothy difficulty suited for any fan i like how they describe it as the juice they might savor the sour tang of challenge and then yeah ultra spicy apparently if you play the demo uh you can do ultra spicy mode from the very beginning i'm just gonna do normal mode i don't care about pikmin is not what i come to for difficulty at the far reaches who is this talking is this for every death but my general rule is if there's like a mass amount of deaths then uh i'll just take a big shot or a couple of big shots if it's like all my pikmin i think uh alph is the same species about the louis lore i like how the grass in the background is in like much greater focus when it's seen through his helmet that doesn't really make sense to me do we really want all this like but i might be wrong i don't know cut to me losing to every boss from this point on charge i think there's a lot of things in this game that will like at quality of life tweaks oh shite ah shite occasionally on it it's got some annoyances but i would definitely recommend this game i still think the first game is probably the best one so maybe if you want like a shining example of the series be the first one but then if you're thirsting for more particularly thirsting for juice because it a lot of people i think the main reason why people get turned off of the series is because of the time limit but trust me when i say it's really not that stressful also it kind of feels like when you're moving around sometimes there's like drift or something i swear it's not my controller oh look how when you lose or or if if the day ends rather while this final boss is going on uh they just leave olimar there and he just gets like sucked back into the fortress he's like clear oh god i'm very metroid is in captivity the galaxy is at peace what a great game what a great series based on the work of pikmin 3 development staff i think based on is a bit of a light term there what a fantastic game as with the rest of the series just delightful i love them i love them i love them i love them i still would say two and three are kind of sloppy and they kind of like have weird modifications made to them uh but they all have a lot to love even this one even with the weird changes weird changes made to the original version i didn't really like that aspect of it but whatever it wasn't like a game breaker i still had a lot of fun and i'm gonna do the bonus missions maybe who who knows we'll see actually i'll take a look at them i might actually not but these games are cozy and comfy and cute and they're fun sure they're a little on the easy side this one particularly like pikmin one and two i think are harder than this one but uh you know what what's wrong with a nice easy romp of a these these are definitely harder than the harvesting missions from before nothing short of inspiring it's like the opposite of katamari you remember katamari where like every time you do even like slightly poorly the guy goes you are the literal worst guy i've ever seen in my life here you do like passable and they're like you're the greatest dude yeah for some reason white and purple pikmin are only in multiplayer i think they might show up in these missions but i don't think they do i love the animation on that thing it's like one of those you know the little things that you squeeze in their eyes pop out yeah frogs frogs i'm talking about frogs oh no no no i didn't mean to do that oh never mind okay i thought that like i thought that literally like sent me all the way back to the beginning of the level and i was gonna cry there really are ten here me mission log day five so many games these days are like too long you know what i love about pikmin 1 playing in like a day playing like a couple days i can just outright break these crystals i don't think i even knew that i could do that honestly i i know it's sort of different strokes for different folks but just personally i like games that you can get through and move on to other parts of your life but i also understand the idea of wanting something to sink your teeth into as you say but at the same time i i can sympathize but i can't empathize that's how i'll put it uh okay so louie toss me the winged pikmin that's nice you can actually do that with the wing pikmin nope okay never mind you can't cool look at them go i that's that's one thing that's another thing that i sort of love and hate about this game the little objects where they pick up little pieces of it and carry them with like piecemeal that's adorable but gameplay-wise it's just not amazing it kind of like it like slopifies it god damn it go here you go the bosses were pretty cool in this game too like plasmrath the snagarit maestro i think was its name ones like that those are cool snagarit does sound like a slur i think louis is a bad guy omar just said he's not a bad guy i think he actually might be the villain of the series can you imagine if pikmin 4 ends with like louis boss you ever like you touch your face and it feels weird when you're drunk just feels weird it's wrong it's not my face uh i i was drinking i have finished drinking i am still kind of drunk in fact i have cartoonish hiccups as we speak as i am speaking to you i'm hiccuping i like that winged pikmin they sort of have a water immunity but not really it's sort of a nice sort of like they have have the same ability as the water there's the blue pikmin but like not exactly god i'm calling rock pikmin black pikmin and then blue pikmin water pikmin i am just all over the place simply simply a scatter you are smart you are happy your brain run by pikmin your brain run by goblin not only is your brain run by goblin your the goblin that controls your brain also has a brain run by goblin that wasn't so bad at all that confetti effect really reminds me of uh when you oh 11 11 nice when you clear a uh when you all clear a cave in pikmin 2. oh my god actual boss rush it's actual boss rush well chad is saying i need all the rocks or that i want all the rocks at least so i'm going to believe them someone said this is kind of underwhelming and i'm ready because i'm ready to leave this game as much as i adore it as much as i really do like it guys i am ready to be done i think this is the last like long running series for a little while or this is this is this will be polishing off the last like open series oh my god okay well i just got stomped okay well i thought that they were going to keep following me because they honestly or what the water rate is or anything let's keep it perfectly real here all right those yellow pikmin should seal the deal there it goes give me my bit it's the rocket it's like the really unnecessary ship part from the first game all right well what do you know they 3d modeled a couple of things from the first game again we're so close oh no that line could only mean one thing we're not gonna get our ship back and also the plot of the video game oh right i need to kill these guys i totally forgot about these clowns i did see online i heard there was like a secret final boss is that really is that what it was it was neat enough whatever it was the boss theme specifically oh i see so now we're just hearing normal pikmin 3 music and that's why i think it's a medley okay oh baby is the one that composed the music for the ending for the epilogue that's kind of cool that was the person where i went baby while the credits were happening but uh yeah this will be this is the last ship part and then i assume the pr plasm wraith comes down and stomps our ass and that's how we get right because this is is this before no this is after right maybe the plasma wraith will do something unsuspect unexpected right i actually forgot that this is after the main story and not before it the other ones were the prologue and i have said several things confidently during this stream that rely on the basis that this is before the main story of pikmin 3. so whoops i'll be enjoying the youtube comments for this one nice bronze or better my life story what are they looking at hey it's this piece of ship from pikmin 2. getting blasted some of them are at like low frame rates weird all right well no earth-shattering lore developments nothing too crazy fine with that walmart's come back well those are cool those are fun little side missions and this is a fun little game i'm gonna check out the pictopedia then i'm gonna leave so are we 100 million billion trillion percent certain that when shigeru miyamoto said that pikmin 4 was being worked on that he wasn't talking about hey pikmin are we one thousand trillion percent sure yes no he absolutely could have been i really hope so because i just feel like we should like ask someone should ask shigeru miyamoto was that hey pikmin were you talking about hey pikmin piklopedia this is this was pog that they like brought this back oh wow i didn't actually i didn't even kill and bring back every type of enemy huh i wonder what kinds i miss okay let's read the plasm wraiths i'm curious wait unknown what a marvel this creature is oh you get descriptions from every captain oh me i'm reading all this lore on the plaza brave i really did not want to let go about captain olimar is that budding interspecies romance i spell excuse me okay i said the word spell there but you know the smell olimar wants to the hole in the plasm wraith anyway i bet that gunk would make for some good lotion this thing doesn't know what it wants one minute it's soft one minute's hard first it's big then it's small it hunts olimar but doesn't want to hurt him we're practically doing it a favor by taking it out anyway that olimar guy must ooze charisma to get an alien creature such an alien creature to follow him anyway and then yeah so i i do like that they that's such a detailed thing that you get the every captain's words on this because in pikmin 2 you could see olimar's notes and louie's notes these are crowd pleasers i just love to imagine like at home on like tate or whatever louis just is constantly cooking he's never not eaten i think for the most part i am done with main series pikmin i don't think i'll ever play hey pikmin on stream maybe someday way in the future uh but other than that i think that's it for pikmin until pikmin 4 if that ever happens i'm excited but at the same time if it never happened or if it was bad or something i wouldn't be too pissed because we really got a special trilogy out of this something really amazing uh but some like questionable decisions importing this game the big whistle you heard me complain about a trillion times uh but overall i still had a ton of fun and i would recommend this game i would say if you're new to pikmin this would be a great introduction i think it's probably the easiest one uh but it's got those the deluxe version has those bonus missions
