Cuphead Glitch Huntin'

wouldn't you believe it i'm playing this damn game again i just can't stop myself i've beaten it every way to sunday but i i keep crawling back i'm gonna be hunting for glitches today i have a big list uh just like super mario galaxy there's like a big list of glitches uh this one's a lot more in-depth and more well-written i'm gonna go through all the worlds and just try to do a bunch of weird [ __ ] i've been sort of practicing speed run strats in this game just kind of casually like improving my own times on bosses but i i know some of the techniques that will be useful for uh for doing these it's it's because i'm so deprived trying to get trying to get through the dry season uh and get the dlc going i might even stream some of me trying to like beat my own personal best on some of these fights [Music] first lesson in glitches is the weapon swap glitch where you can [ __ ] just shoot a lot if you switch weapons over and over again it like makes it so you have like double damage output almost and you can whoop things aces really quickly 39 seconds not too bad what's my goopy pb well i [ __ ] you not i actually have a spreadsheet right here my goopy pb is 26 seconds but i have not extensively bought him i just recorded i recorded a list of my pbs so these little platforms that these little lads are sitting on if you do a special oh [ __ ] i got knocked out of it if you do a special while they're getting like deleted oh [ __ ] i died already crippling success is happening there you go infinite spin and you can't i can't do anything i'm hitting every button on the controller i can pause and leave but that's it and i think you can actually move with this [Music] in fact could you beat the level in spin hold on ah so to those of you don't know this is legacy patch cuphead so this is the original version of the game which is significantly more broken than the new version the version that i was used to playing i had to like i changed my controller setup so that i can do this better yeah speed so let's see if this just carries me all the way i hope i don't like ledge cancel one of these platforms okay moment of truth oh [ __ ] i'm not i'm not gonna be able to unless i'm just a total god no he didn't shoot a thing actually once the screen unlocks maybe i can go back because these guys their little thing never breaks actually what's up look at this guy what was he doing there he's still doing it he's having a little stroke all these guys have a different animation or they're just like but this guy just like tweaks out okay how do i do this no i got the wrong spin i bet you can do this i need to try look like all these have a normal animation i think the animations just broken on the this one particular one were there any wood stacks that i didn't kill [Music] what the [ __ ] is happening what the [ __ ] was that did i just take damage from falling [Music] too fast down the screen there was no enemy there but i took damage is that that was so far we've encountered two glitches that i was not trying to get in any way shape or form okay come on yes oh my god perfect spin perfect form look at that technique [Music] please let this work if if i just like hit the wall and have to reset i'm so pissed come on yes oh he even turned around so this guy's got a pretty silly glitch several bosses you can just like freeze uh by like doing certain things at certain times this one is particularly easy though come on there you go i did it he's frozone and now i can just [ __ ] party out the weird like hooting drum just sit here and [ __ ] like pound into his face look look at his eyes he's internally screaming he feels every [ __ ] like morsel of pain that's being dished out to him right now but he can do nothing but sit there in silent agony screaming for release [Music] there you go baby show us the weird apostrophe there we go i square m lean mean and full of beta carotene there's also a glitch with the like the crying move it's like if you kill the onion during the crying move but i don't know what the the the site doesn't say what the specifications are for that happening [Music] now beppy the goddamn clown on the other hand has something truly amazing all right that's it i did it i did it right yeah there you go that that smoke tells us all we need to know the clown is [ __ ] dead [Music] and now his horse is here too just utter chaos this is the sort of [ __ ] i love [Music] what a what an amazing glitch you can hear him crying in the background the game is literally weeping real tears tears of a sea clown alright so this one sort of infamously some bosses in this game have [ __ ] that's off the side of the screen they're on in this in this case off the bottom of the screen so i'm dropping bombs down there to uh to hurt the puppet that's just sitting down there later on that's a that's a surprise tool that will help us later see if i can actually do this it's hard [Music] come on die you piece of [ __ ] yeah oh that was actually such a quick kill that might have been my fastest jimmy time ever i i successfully did the final phase skip and let's see what my time was 105. what's my pb 110 hey that's a new pb 105 [ __ ] i'll update the spreadsheet also yeah sometimes the strat with some of these bosses is just to get right up in their face and just move up and down you can do a similar thing with cala maria well there's actually also something with these goats you kill them at a certain time their rope sticks around like their rope just like stays there if you kill them at the right time i'll i'll do that later okay so this next thing has to do with these guys you gotta carry on to their head and you gotta stand up here and murder them [Music] and then you can just walk on the air oh so anyway like i was saying this glitch just allows you to walk on the air how crazy is that and i can use it to get past this like ogre section oh [ __ ] i love his little walk his little like he's got prancing hands did you get what i'm saying he's got prancy hands there it is folks actually what happens if i go back i can just like go chill in the rest of the level now i'm gonna go check it out i bet the eye is still there like the eye that looks at you when you when you go past i bet that's gonna be it's still gonna be there yep there he is what a man it really looks like i'm wow just when i stand exactly here it doesn't look glitchy but then i start walking and you're like oh so what happened i bet if you go back you just run into the slide right all right oh no [ __ ] ahem oh what excuse me what hit me oh [ __ ] there's that's the earlier part of the level though yo if i get like the the invincibility thing could i just go back there let's try doing the goat thing i know if you stand on the edge of one of these yeah they don't actually trigger kind of funny uh that's not good though this looks so unnatural oh there it is the rope stays there what an amazing glitch folks truly astounding but uh there's a really great video by fez pez where he spawned he like got in a spot where you could just farm those ropes freezing in place and spawned like 10 million of them at once it's pretty amazing it like lagged the game to [ __ ] i know there's a goat that spawns here there you go all right are you dead [ __ ] okay well i got pass here we are i think the background is like a different color oh and that guy's pickaxe is going forever look at the like harsh edge of that tree oh this is awesome even the music sounds all like discordant because i'm in glitch mode [Music] it's kind of cool it's not that glitchy oh i guess there's like a there's like a truman show-esque like seam in the in the sky in the background that's kind of funny oh and that rope's still there you know it let's do the let's get this out of the way this is the one that like i i saw this in the speed run and i was like holy [ __ ] this one's really hard to do because you have to be on a specific weapon oh i just screwed up oh i have to sneeze hold on there's a sneeze brewing a sneeze is surely brewing i didn't even like realize that until i was like mid sneeze he screwed me up he screwed up my rhythm [Music] come on you [ __ ] do it yeah the sneeze powered me up i love that the head exploding sideways that [ __ ] is so beyond cool to me so then you gotta stand between these pews and there's there's another thing like stored off screen here actually i think only the these things can hit her all right i gotta stand here and boomerang up there oh [ __ ] i'm getting destroyed by the final fantasy boss apparently cala maria can like just [ __ ] vanish if you do too much damage at the beginning but i've never done that i've never been able to do too much damage [Music] also with the weapon swap in the air there's kind of a rhythm you do it at you may notice this part might make some people angry uh i don't know the fact that you can just sit right there in front of her eyes and just soak it up especially for this phase too [Music] there you go easy peasy that was a perfect fight three health and everything you know every time i play this game i noticed something new about the animation and most recently it was calla maria that move with the eyes where she like does the like freeze vision the snakes like go through the back of her head and like bite her eyes and come out the front of her head i never even noticed that there's such good detail in these animations getting new pbs all over the place i mean it's because i recorded my pb list once like yesterday so not that crazy on the book already holy [ __ ] come on yeah whoa that was really quick hell yeah hell yeah that was definitely a new pb the next thing that we need to do is uh there's something for the next world that we need to set up in this world which is if you do a fight in this in one of the earlier zones in simple mode you can do simple mode in inkwell hell which you're not supposed to be able to do and the game kind of freaks out damn couldn't skip the phase [Music] but look at that unique death animation there's only a few of those in simple mode but there's one so now if we go to inkwell hell the game will like glitch out and think that we're doing simple mode for one of these bosses but it doesn't there's not like a true simple mode like in the game it's like supposed to be accessible it i think it feels like kind of like a beta version maybe so i think everything's gonna be super bugged out now and these guys won't attack and i think they die instantly so they're already dead you can start teabagging on them while the boomerang shot is still in the air i think this guy just doesn't move like he just he just sits there i love this dude although this this fight is so cool does it even need to be said i think he also just takes a few hits and then [ __ ] off maybe not there we go oh [ __ ] wait what the [ __ ] this one's all low that's actually awesome because you can see look at the top of the rope it's it's all crusty and janky looking because it's never supposed to be seen on screen can i damage them at all [Music] oh hell yeah i killed the junk boss oh the rabbit wait there's two platforms oh [ __ ] wait oh [ __ ] uh okay okay hmm well there's two platforms why are there two platforms there's normally just one and i guess king dice is just gonna be forever here waiting to take the rabbit out of the hat [Music] okay well that's good look at look at that good layering in the corner that's good [ __ ] also this is the they went that away skull also these platforms are like just barely high up enough to get to when they're like on their lowest point well that sucked so i think this guy also just won't attack right [Music] what a good fight what a good fight another little detail that i never noticed until recently as in two seconds ago is that the spikes recede into the ground when they're about to go into that little wall over on the left just a tiny little detail adds that much [Music] oh [ __ ] no no it's the same thing oh [ __ ] oh this piece of [ __ ] horse his little like poker card thing you know i never really got a good look at this background i just now noticed that there are little like ghosty goose that's kind of awesome it's like this is sort of a continuation of the the phantom express there's a glitch with the the lobber ex shot where it apparently uh does like extra damage when it like hits the ground for some reason like it explodes and does a ton of damage in a way that seems unintended all right so i gotta get a three i got a two that's cool now i guess i'm just going to try oh well there's the monkey can i skip the monkey just try him in order [ __ ] it i get softlock again i'll just go i'll go through it again oh she's frozen too she's truly frozen wow oh and these uh what the [ __ ] that's awesome whoa these don't normally these have such a delay that you can't just continually parry off them but i guess you can just continually parry off of these that's awesome just like another like janky thing with simple mode i guess i was really hoping it was just gonna be like a featureless eight ball the entire time you gonna do anything now he do be vibing though they really do be vibing a little bit though i always forget that he just pukes on you when you kill him all right the moment of truth mr chimp chimes oh [ __ ] k alright well i hear him i hear him but he's not anywhere to be seen let's see um i don't think he's here these these seeking shots would be going towards him if he was here well that [ __ ] sucks the monkey oh i was so close to fighting king dice and then the monkey got in my way god damn it and royal rainbow yeah [ __ ] let's go oh you're [ __ ] joking oh my [ __ ] god no guys i don't think he's hittable no we're so close you're so close and i can't do it he's just dancing on me and laughing at me i'm pissed i'm pissed you know i'm beyond pissed oh god let's just let's just end it like not even his hand i can't even shoot his hand [ __ ] [Laughter] [Music] zero damage you better believe this dice is loaded yeah the game [ __ ] sucks it doesn't work because he's got a ton of health oh let's look at the phantom hit look at that that wasn't that devil that hit me that was literally just a random hitbox like it's literally just random also simple mode complete the arms coming from the side of the screen looked extra janky and i love how this skeleton just jumps away my planet needs me all right so there's actually there's glitches on both of these bosses in just normal mode so let's do that as well while we're here so you'll note i'm firing off to the side but he's taking damage because his body is flashing and that's because uh one of his hitboxes is just stored off to the side there for some reason oh i ducked what i ducked okay so i'm going to kill the devil exclusively by shooting off the side of the screen yeah tug the corners of your mouth [ __ ] tug the corners of your damn mouth so i can just kill you in a cheap and lame way you taking damage actually oh [ __ ] what he's not taking damage anymore [Music] [ __ ] i might need the charge shot for this all right pull your teeth get your bones out of there and there we go now we cheese him for the rest of the fight [Music] [Laughter] it's always like the final boss that has some crazy cheese like this too your videos get hundreds of thousands of views how do you not get more viewers i think there's just less viewers per stream you know also his bones went back into his body what was i saying less viewers per stream it's less viewers because it's straight i can talk with my voice you know something i always found to be kind of weird is the end credits music for this game is a slowed down like dramatic remix of uh the like briny briny beard dr briny beard captain fight it's kind of weird it's like was the pirate theme originally like the main theme for the game or something and now i have one thing left to do and that's the monkey skip chimp skimp i'm not gonna end this [ __ ] stream until i get the monkey skip i don't care if it takes two years um oh my god if you went the other way i think i literally would have got the skip like the first [ __ ] try if he had decided to go the other way you gotta catch him so the way this works is you have to catch him right at the edge of the screen while the screen scrolls and while he does this little shaky thing and if all works according to plan then you can do some hokey nonsense where he just instantly dies he like goes off screen and goes to his home planet it's really hard to do because he goes at different horizontal speeds too so you tell me simp has nothing to do with simple flips oh i think i got it yup oh my god [Music] oh this one has a fun glitch and i actually discovered it a legitimately amazing strat for this like truly amazing it actually involves the little damage boost jump thing ooh so this trick involves two different jank things about this game one is that in this like up and down like vertical scrolling segment if you fall down too fast you'll take damage as though you've fallen off of a ledge or something and it also has some missing collision detection if you stand on this one stump and you jump and do a dash you can sometimes take damage from like nothing and boost jump out of bounds and go up here at the woodpeckers and i looked online and i had not seen that anybody else had discovered that you can do that with the damage jump but here it is and you can you can still get hurt by those guys pretty good stuff i have a blast it's it's literally nothing though like there's there's nothing to be gained from doing this whatsoever but it's just a stupid thing take damage from nothing and then go up here i think it just dumps you right back at the beginning of the level though if you manage to smoke bomb through all those there's nothing to be learned or gained yep here we are hold on i can get card charge off these pink balloons actually really quickly in kind of a weird glitchy way so let's let's see if i can do that are there going to be more balloons what's that song [Music] [Laughter] [Music] hold on no you gotta get like the 10 million parries off of it come back here trampoline you piece of [ __ ] oh another one okay let's do the trick yeah i love how hard it lags out the game and you just get like instant card charge that is amazing about nuclear war yeah i mean [Music] sounds about right those germans they never talk about anything else look at that like instant full card charge that's just amazing look at that i think it just gives you one balloon there oh oh what the [ __ ] did one of the like zoombini guys did did he appear is that what that was [ __ ] zumbini what am i saying he looks like a guy who would be named the great zoombini you know i think i'm done playing for today but there's a little more to show there's uh i got debug mode working briefly before the stream and by briefly i mean it barely works but i kind of want to show off some unused [ __ ] the debug mode isn't this weird it's like card this one's pretty good oh and it's going to do some weird [ __ ] where it's going to force me to play on keyboard but uh this is it this is card it's an unused king dice boss how do i shoot here we go but i don't think i can do anything but i like the little angry face it's like the new grounds face you know this thing has teeth and i guess this is supposed to be like it's playing like dr mario or some [ __ ] i don't know it's really weird uh but yeah that's really all there is to it you get you get hurt if you touch it oh oh oh interesting we ain't get it ain't real cube that's what this boss is i can't rotate it but that's what it is cinco normal and then it's it's really janky i couldn't sometimes you can't get levels to work until you like click on it a bunch but look at this isn't this [ __ ] sick even though it looks so jank this [ __ ] is awesome to me and there's little pachinko balls going down the side [Music] i think that yeah the pachinko balls hurt you too uh can this guy even be damaged actually [ __ ] but this is the arc shot it shoots little stars and they like sit on the ground for some reason oh they're kind of jank on these moving platforms forced to play with keyboard controls for this and i'm oh hold on cling cling clang clang your bell has rang uh there's also wide shot which i think is different from spread okay so i'm joining as mugman so i can actually play with controller [Music] but i only have one health to do this oh [ __ ] oh [ __ ] hold on cuphead go save him save the guy who can actually play with the controller so here's wide shot it's very slightly different from spreadshot actually i have no idea what happens if you beat this guy i bet it'll just send me back to king dice but it looks good it looked like the drawing of this thing looks great it's just like i i guess they had a better idea in one of the other king dice minions i don't know all my controls are rebound too oh what wait i can't shoot anymore what what's happening wait i can't shoot i think i swapped weapons to one that's like a plane weapon [ __ ] that sucks oh and that's soft locked it might show up in the dlc so you guys may have noticed there are some names here like airship actually if you there was a different debug that i was using uh that was like it was like not the official debug but there was another one that like let you alter the code and like go to different scenes and [ __ ] and there was one that not only did it have airship stork in it it also had airship clam airship jelly and airship uh there was one other it was like crab i think so the airship level which there's a song on the soundtrack to those of you don't know called airship that's on the soundtrack and probably going to be in the dlc but it was a demo level that was shown with like a jellyfish enemy a while back that looked kind of unfinished and then in the game there's all these files for like airship stork and [ __ ] but you can't go to it i've tried but there's plenty there's other things there's like the big spider that's shown in like screenshots and [ __ ] but uh some of these things i think are almost guaranteed to show up in the dlc including airship stork clam crab and jelly and who knows card and uh and pachinko might show up too i don't know what any of the rest of these are though let's see actually wait what's oh oh oh [ __ ] what the [ __ ] is this wait i'm not i haven't seen that one before what the [ __ ] oh god this must be another scrapped king dice boss i've never seen that one before i've like seen in tons of videos like the pachinko boss and [ __ ] what the [ __ ] it had like a little lizard with a hat in the center and there was like a dude face there's like a twitch emote floating around look at this holy [ __ ] what is going on oh okay oh i see all right can i kill it holy [ __ ] oh this is actually awesome so it's got these lights coming out of it i guess these little bearded men feel like developer of no man's sky over here as uh as a hitbox they're little damaging enemies i want to see what happens when you kill this thing i'm getting card charged oh [ __ ] it's going faster this is awesome i'm kind of sad this isn't in the game i mean you know it's a shitty little lizard with a hat but like this is a good concept for a boss pizza pie pizza pie okay wow and i'm playing with keyboard controls so it's hard is th this must be recorded somewhere i just haven't heard of it i literally tried to go to light and uh what was the other one like the air airship also you instantly get hit when you start this level while you can't even control your character that's some [ __ ] right there i like that there's no music too [Laughter] [Music] all right i tried to go to retro arcade and that didn't work either that was one level that just it didn't work [Music] and then it seems like after you click on a level that doesn't work then it makes it so you can't select any other levels two i think that's what made it so that i couldn't choose light earlier and i just didn't realize jesus [ __ ] okay i did it what do i get what do i get i bet it's just gonna send me back to king dice yeah okay well that was king dice member number zero i guess and now we're just back in the normal game that's what happens if i hit remove player two wait is that in the normal game can you do that in the normal game now i'm just soft locked oh never mind what wait what what it said player 2 has joined but i clearly have not i have clearly not done that thing i can't do anything it's weird oh [ __ ] right i have to play as mugman though with one health but that's exploder look at this [ __ ] it looks broken it looks [ __ ] broken i don't know how to dash even is it why oh god by default dash is bound to why guys that's the question i ask of why they did that so it looks like this one grows and then explodes it's so jank yeah i guess in debug mode it defaults all your controls as well as defaulting player 1 to keyboard which is kind of stupid you shoot straight up with arc it's kind of it's kind of bizarre doesn't seem like it does a ton of damage to be honest i don't know it's uh just feels a little weak this attack it leaves a little thing on the ground though kind of interesting is it like a bomb it's even staying on the roller coaster whoa let's see oh god that was terrifying oh a bubble that's what the ark special is it's baby sadly flying bat or wait no i think that was in the different debug menu there was one that said bat uh that i think is you can see a bit of it in an early trailer but uh that was also removed from the game but i think the real moral of the story is that we ain't get it ain't real q so i i didn't get the exact skip you're supposed to be able to skip this like animation here of them crouching and doing weird four things well you're supposed to skip from one for animation to the next this is the one that i'm the worst at one two three yes i got it yes there it is watch very carefully how they do this what a maneuver oh my god it just looks so goofy all right so to those of you who don't know i'm dropping this onto a hitbox down below it is actually getting hit as you can see by my card charge going up faster than it normally would with the coffee i should say [Applause] i got the i this part makes me get the [ __ ] yips like crazy it's so tricky i'm dropping these bombs onto the puppet which is like stored off screen for later in the fight [Music] it literally sounds like my stupid german impression look at it's so hard they just come out of it they just come right out of there yeah yeah i heard epic mickey he'll play him eventually oh oh what the [ __ ] was that that was amazing you know what it's time it's time folks it's time i know there's a way to give yourself like 10 times damage here i wonder if it's actually gonna work oh god oh god look at it yay how do i oh [ __ ] how do i turn off million billion damage mode oh [ __ ] hold on i kinda wanna can we just like see bosses just like freak out if you just [ __ ] like annihilate look he's already he's already dead jesus [ __ ] christ oh and there's a horse whoa the horse was dead but beppy was alive that was weird okay that's not this is no fun ten times i mean come on oh hey did it again what the [ __ ] is up with that i'm doing okay that was okay 64 seconds oh oh one second improvement [ __ ] yes yeah [ __ ] 104 that is what you call an improvement holy [ __ ] my my pb is 44 here and the world record is that was pretty good but i've got one one health which might [ __ ] me over i might die oh baby was that an instant new record holy [ __ ] [ __ ] that was first try that was first try oh 40 seconds oh and look at the ground look at the ground why does it do that it's just like that only happens with this mod for some reason there is like a phase skip glitch you can do here oh [ __ ] did i get it oh [ __ ] i got like first try holy [ __ ] that's awesome maybe i'll die but that's great i've never got that before until just now okay [ __ ] that would have been a new record probably [ __ ] that's that was that was huge massive moment come on 51 seconds what's my record [Music] 45 so look at this i'm still doing damage because the this next phase is coming in oh god what the [ __ ] wait he's just gooning wait the boss is eternally gooning now is this what i want to do is this am i winning i think i'm winning guys i think i won the tongue oh and that's that's a new record all right b beep beep beep beep beep buzz [Music] die oh 40 seconds ah at least i got to skip though at least i got to skip die die die ah come on die 39 [ __ ] i tied my record die yes 37 i'm taking it i'm taking it it's no world record but i'm taking it 37 release the pogs i looked and on the internet i could find exactly one instance of somebody else finding this glitch i was very excited you can stand on this thing i actually can't believe i just got that first try you can stand on the trampoline and it walks underneath you now tell me that ain't the most powerful walking you've ever seen holy [ __ ] i did it two times in a row it's pretty hard to do but if you land on just the right layer this guy doesn't act like a trampoline and it's really jank okay so now he's like past the point where he's supposed to be just wait for all these balloons to clear by come on he's past the point where he's supposed to be so when i stand on him he does so oh [ __ ] i had it oh i had it that's heartbreaking i might not be able to even show this he just like slides a little bit it's not that impressive it's such an insignificant glitch but it's like normally this guy has like a point where he like goes back to sleep he's like okay i'm deactivated once i like touch that little black thing but for whatever reason you can like sort of slingshot him over past it and if you go over there he goes to sleep like further than he's supposed to be here we go so i'm kind of floating above him and then if i move over he just slides a little bit to get back in place not the most amazing thing but that was uh besides one like 100 view youtube video uh undocumented as far as i can tell on the internet so i was pretty excited to find that even though it's [ __ ] useless doesn't do anything let's say what happens if i just stay here for cats and uh turns out i die oh this is a glitch uh look at that i'm in the second phase but it's showing the third phase death quote [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] idiot game see what kind of damage we can do here make up for lost time okay it was this when i was younger there was this guy i think it was like junior high there was this guy who came in he was like a motivational speaker he was talking about like safe sex or something i think he was actually saying you should wait to get married before you have sex i think he actually said that and i remember specifically he said then when you get married you can make up for lost time and he kind of did it was like this old like boomer looking dude and he did this like hand swingy sort of like humpy move and every time i hear the phrase make up for lost time i think of that like crusty old boomer swinging his hips and gyrating in front of an audience of like teenagers to wait to get married before you have sex um well the thing i think the thing i like about this game the most is that it's very relaxing i just feel at ease when i play this game come on seal the deal 16th [Applause] man i i've been going somebody mentioned reddit i've been going on like shitpost crusaders what the [ __ ] was that the parry sound effect played and i didn't even parry anything there's like some weird sound glitches going on here is this because of the like uh debug mode uh man reddit's got some poopy memes like so many reddit memes are like memes about memes and about reddit but the ones that are like when you post on reddit and you get an up vote and it's like dio going kono diota or something it's like yeah funny it's these like ai generated feeling memes whoa whoa did you see that like extra jar come out that was a glitch damn i'm gonna get a ton of [ __ ] stuff for my video this is gonna be a great video [Applause] look at that i think okay hold on can i just do a test here yep okay if you hit a this i don't know if this is to do with debug mode or if this is in the normal game if you hit a and then pause straight after it'll play the parry sound effect even if you hit nothing nothing at all look at jimmy's face that is how i feel do you think the death penalty is moral i think this video game is pretty fun 58 oh it feels good ladies and gentlemen it feels good it feels good i the skip okay i did not get the skip you can do the skip a variety of ways and there's like kind of a scrub way to do it that i'm trying to do here but it's it's gonna be so it's gonna be luck because she has to be at a certain amount of damage at a very specific time and i don't know what that amount of damage is i have no idea and it like freezes her in place and skips her massive over long animation for uh transforming into the moon oh i don't know why i was so like breathy there i turned into [ __ ] disco kid i couldn't injured my way around that one but i just didn't look at her face oh that's a classic i'm not exactly sure why she's oh wait i got the glitch wait no somebody was asking why is she astrological signs but i can't focus on that right now because i literally just got the glitch i literally just got the glitch holy [ __ ] yes and cup bluey 46 seconds [ __ ] oh my god that was way easier than the [ __ ] train holy [ __ ] easy collapse i thought that was gonna take like a million years that took like five minutes i'll update the spreadsheet i didn't even have the spreadsheet open but damn that leaves one boss left besides king dice actually i'm gonna go do king dice right goddamn now and get him under two minutes because i'm at 214 for him so we have uh we have very little left in the game to do in terms of this arbitrary one minute challenge it really knocked the wind out of her naw i this i'm just gonna wing it i don't know i haven't even looked at the world record for this so i'm trying to get this one under two minutes not one minute because this it's like humanly impossible to get it under one minute it's hard all right i can time it most of the time but it's hard that's like the first time i've ever actually been screwed over by the start over even like it normally doesn't screw you over because if you can get there you just need to do like take it patient and just re-roll through all of it literally the only time it actually screws you over is during a speed run it just wastes your time otherwise the thing that makes this dice confusing because it's like not truly random but it's kind of tricky to get it not only does it go fast it also is it's got like some stanley kubrick like it doesn't make sense as a physical object [ __ ] going on because it's only got one two three sides yet it's a four-sided dice so you have to like relearn the [ __ ] like spatial awareness okay don't worry chad i have a whole strategy for hitting the dice it's sometimes human beings have imperfections and do things incorrectly every once in a while i am aware i need to jump before the number comes up thank you thank you thank you thank you we are aware we got a [ __ ] up sign doing it quickly too that's the struggle [Music] some [ __ so great it's kind of a classic zoop though that's so fun it's honestly a phenomenal zoo i'd love to see it used in an actual run okay i used it to my death cool oh my god the next one this is the one i've been really excited to show you this one is insane and i'm really shocked that i haven't seen it before it was just like one random reddit post had it basically i'm kind of baffled there are more glitches to show off too this game is honestly like the legacy patch very glitchy some there's a couple of them that i are kind of unacceptable like the one the like errant hitbox in the devil fight is kind of like okay come on things like that actually in this very fight i'll demonstrate uh there's unparryable pills sometimes like sometimes you'll parry a pill and it'll still hit you it might take you guys a while to even notice what's happening here okay now it might be becoming uh a little more apparent for some reason if you hit the bird medic over and over they just go down the whole thing goes down and it never stops it's just like depending on how how long you can keep that gravy train rolling it'll just go down and down forever you can get him off the screen all right uh we're losing them we're losing them captain i can only see the tops of their hats it gets kind of difficult because like they're off the screen now so it's gonna be hard to see you have to use their little like lips protruding up to actually know where they are oh i almost just got [ __ ] and the song ended and is now going to restart that's a thing that happens [Music] boss gone can't find the boss oh cuphead dlc is supposed to come out this year but you know what else came out this year a little old diddy known as covid19 so uh kind of sad to think about truly where's perry anyway this next one you don't need to do it on this boss but it's kind of amusing on some bosses it's also really hard to do incidentally sometimes the pink ducks i've had this happen multiple times now yeah when i parry them just for whatever reason if i parry them in a certain way it freezes the game it like crashes the entire game it's ridiculous okay i don't even know if i have to actually mash the whole time i think it's something to do with unpausing on the last frame of your special oh i got it i got it i got it it doesn't hit the horse i'm gonna die i'm not actually gonna die i'm invincible i'm gonna parry that but i i can't hit him now it's a powerful spin though he'd be spinning ideally i wanted to be on uh rebound shot to do this but yeah so if you do that right you spin and flicker in mid-air forever and you're unkillable and you can kill a boss this way i want to do it i'm gonna do it some people i've seen are able to do it uh by getting a parry on the same frame as they like end the super uh i have not been able to recreate that and it's much easier for me to get this this pausing one so that's the one that i use but there's there's other ways to do this i think the last frame of the ex move or the super is just broken in some way and like interrupting during that one point just [ __ ] you up the audio really gets [ __ ] oh here we go but it's lobber again folks oh i don't
