in the description below let's start today's video Meriden it's been a while since you've been out here I know and Mary's out here I mean it was a couple years a couple years ago we had a little husband vers wife challenge where i took guns that were really good for competition and let Mara shoot those and I shot some ridiculous guns to kind of make it harder for me and I thought I'd still beat you you are actually a lot better at shooting ARS than I thought you would be so today we have another challenge a little different we're gonna start at the long-range booth we're doing three challenges today you are gonna be shooting the SOCOM 16 it's a semi-automatic I put a vortex crossfire scout scope on it and we cited that in today and then I'm gonna be shooting a bolt-action so this will make it a little harder for me and I'm gonna be shooting this daniel defense it is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor for those who don't know this is the difference between a 308 and a 65 it's a much smaller bullet so it's going away fast really flat shooting and it's actually my first 6.5 Creedmoor so I also put a vortex Diamondback scope on this thing and here is the barrel change that I was talking about this is the 308 Barrel super easy to change out with just this little tool and we are going to only be shooting 6 5 - so the part that was harder for me is we are shooting a single target down there but you have to hit it 8 times you have 20 rounds in your magazine I have a magazine only holds 5 and it's a bolt so I'm gonna have to be working that bolt and then I'm gonna have to throw more ammo in there so we're gonna go for time first would you like to go first or second last time it didn't matter yeah uh you go first so I have to try to beat you we're gonna be timing she has to hit this thing eight times so after the eight shot I will stop the timer I'm gonna say go you can go ahead and pull it up I would saying get to where you feel comfortable and then I will say ready set go and start the timer shooter ready one two three eight hits in fourteen point seven seven seconds mayor is not a huge girl and that's a 308 that thing kicks pretty good like right on my collar back fourteen point seven seven seconds is the time to beat and I have a bolt action only that's five so I'm gonna have to get fast I have six in the gun for next to the gun and I gotta hit that thing eight times well you count out loud mirror so I know where I'm at yeah okay I'm ready yep [Applause] 8:28 I'd double your time all right I'm gonna smoke you on the next one we're shooting shotguns next so I was just telling Meredith how this thing works this is from action targets it's called a Texas star it spins based on how much weight is on what side and so as you shoot these white targets they fall off and then the changes the weight and they will spin accordingly and then bounce back and forth and get kind of tricky so we're shooting 12-gauge at this thing the goal of the next round is just to knock all five plates off for time Meredith is shooting my Benelli m4 it is loaded to the max with seven plus one rounds she only needs five but you have three more rounds in case you miss I am going to be shooting Chiappa triple barrel which is you know doesn't have a stock I'm shooting like this and also I'm going to have to reload it midway through and pull those rounds out and put some more in there and I only have six for my reload so I think you're gonna win this run - I don't know about that one mare mare is a little worried about shooting 12-gauge I think you can do it you ready mirror on your mark get set go [Music] oh we got a Miss I might have a chance dang it good Jim finished it with no glasses 35 seconds I can I can beat that probably that was pretty good I'm shaking that's really pathetic - oh that's a heavy gun when it's loaded down I am going to be shooting this thing and gonna have to be reloading in the middle so yet 35 seconds what are your predictions think I can beat you I actually don't even know if my shotgun will knock those off I don't know how much it spreads it should theoretically [Music] I barely got that last one okay that is great mayor you're just not as good as me so we have a 1 to 1 competition we have one more round the last competition mayor is the dueling tree your familiar yes yeah we did these in Canada so the goal for those who don't know is I'm gonna be shooting at this side and every time I hit it we'll flip it over to Mayor sight my goal is to turn everything read mayor is gonna be shooting this side make him go to my side her goal is turn everything green once it is all one color we have a winner let me tell you guys how we're gonna even out the skill discrepancy you will be shooting the Tarrant tactical combat master this gun is made for this purpose 20 rounds in a magazine 9-millimeter I will be shooting a tourist raging hunter 44 Magnum only holds six rounds and I'm gonna have to reload you should have an advantage here they'd be willing to shoot at three times yeah but you're good you're gonna be hitting them over the same time I could do it with one cylinder but yeah I also might have to reload in the middle of it while you're still firing your 20 rounds and be shooting up 44 Magnum which is gonna be something okay you ready yeah okay I'm ready to you start going and I will follow that's what the gentleman would do I hit one but the power of this thing knock both of them around well you ran out of ammo a little Missy I don't know if you know I what do you remember that time a couple years ago that you beat me that was so long ago do you know what happened just now really really recently very fresh on my mind do you do you know that I probably haven't shot a gun since then that's neither here nor there thank you guys for watching if you'd like to comment below on what you think Meredith and I should challenge ourselves to next some other kind of dueling competition what would be more fair I like trying to just like when I did it against Jerry Mitchell act like I tried to make it something that would take away from his skill and make it a level playing field which is kind of what we did today but let us know in the future what guns should Meredith have what should I have and we'll run it again I mean I would assume that you're gonna want to be I'm gonna have to like do some arm workouts I'll give you light wake up I need some carbon fiber guns for Meredith yes thanks man first speed thank you guys for watching too much [Music] [Music] [Applause] I'm a doctor yes
