these are my kids this is addy lincoln and annie we go shooting every once in a while and they wanted to come out here and like make a demolition ranch video of us shooting we actually tried to sort of do this we went shooting the other day and i was vlogging that day on the off the ranch channel and so i didn't really show it like we were out here and we were like yeah we're out here just hiking and then you could like hear a gunshot in the background and it totally got demonetized on off the ranch on my non-gun channel it got demonetized and we didn't even like we were just making jokes about them we were really not even showing it so we're gonna make an actual shooting video today just kind of a hangout you get to hang out at the demo ranch range with me and the fam and we'll see if these kids got some abilities let's see what they can do we are gonna start off with a bb gun and classic demonstration style we start low with a bb gun we're gonna work our way all the way up to the 22 long rifle you probably don't need ear protection on for the bb gun but it's up to you you pretend like guns always loaded right so even if this gun wasn't loaded i still wouldn't point it at you guys it could go off you hit it before the camera's turned on the kids were all shaking these so they'd explode you hit it oh i can see this came back floating that was perfect shot there you go now this finger goes up to the trigger let's get your hand up there you go put this up on your shoulder like that nail that all right dude yep you do it you hear the dean nice you hear that ding nice all right put this foot out further in front of you yeah there you go now you don't have to lean back as far nice okay so this is a 22 long rifle it's a cricket i've got dang you smoked that two-liter oh i've got a suppressor on it also got a vortex red dot and lincoln is really good with this smells so good that big red smell smelt this gun came with a little scope but scopes are really hard for kids because you have to get directly lined up and also iron sights are hard for kids so i just put a red dot because cause all you have to do is put the dot on what you want to shoot and it makes it way easier so if you're going to get a 22 for kids i recommend throwing a 1x red dot on there and it can just be the simplest thing ever and they love it nice none of my kids are like shooting very much until i put a suppressor on it because it makes it so quiet well you were you were a little more nervous about it i may have put a special on it and it's so quiet now and no one's nervous about it they're not worried about the kick and there's no kick on the 22 but it was loud and so now they just they love it and they can decide if they want to wear ears or no ears [Applause] there's shaving cream that went in and out all right let's leave this open and go check out those targets we hit shaving cream nice ripped it open all right you hit that one look at the shaving cream it squirted all over there guys save this i'm gonna need to shave later today so save that okay annie you ready those are the worst lincoln stop again you're wasting it look at it spraying whoa we shakes that one that's why that's why my dad got a little a little wooden um stocked 22 when i was little it's called a chipmunk and it was a little youth 22 like this little single shot bolt action and i remember shooting when i was little super fun nice right here holds right there all over you let me yummy oh you smoked that one way up the hill nice oh barely missed it everywhere boy knows how to manipulate a rifle these little weirdos you can't see it they're so weird a college frat boy good stuff yeah mayor i have no idea why they're so crazy and hyper that's so weird no i didn't give them any soda i don't i don't think definitely not my kids i never act crazy like that they're gonna do great at taking over this channel someday it went through two and then it cracked this one and it came out empty it cracked it and i think it just leaked out right there this is the first one that's the first one got pretty messed up it's not worth your time got something special for you guys didn't want to leave you high and dry with you know no new gun on this episode so i have a new gun on this episode this is a it's a christensen arms it's called the ranger it is chambered in 22 long rifle pretty cool little package as you can see this barrel is carbon fiber so fairly light and a very accurate gun from what i've seen so far just played with it this morning for the first time ever bolt action takes ruger 10 22 mag so we got a little 10 rounder there or you can put in the bigger 10 22 mags like this one you really want to have some fun it has a threaded barrel so you could put a suppressor on it this is a little trickier for kids because it's a scope you have to get directly in the center to see through a scope if you're off to the side a little bit it all turns black and so it's harder for kids who are not used to scopes to figure it out at first i wanted this to be like a super accurate little 22 rifle more for me that one's for them that one's the easy one for them to shoot so put this thing on your shoulder yep right there put your face down on the gun can you see through it no okay then move your eye around so you can see through it scoot your hand up up on this thing more so your closer trigger there you go all right what you going to get perfect dang nice oh can i go see it yes kids are big on checking out every target after they kill it and i've told them quit chugging all the soda they come back after every shot they come back just covered in sticky soda this scope is a vortex as well it's a crossfire ii it's a two to seven by 32 and it's specifically a rimfire scope oh it jumped did you see that there you go now all the way back all the way forward all the way down so this gun also does not have a youth stock on it so it's kind of hard for them to reach up to it it's made for not seven-year-olds or six-year-olds addie's long enough to use it but you guys nice you hit something it's got a mag so you can close it it'll load one in automatically oh cool right look through this eye not this eye extra protection he naturally wants to look through with his left eye no this side this side this side there you go i think he's left eye dominant but he's right-handed so he's always trying to go look at his left eye nice that was a good hit so lincoln's shooting without ear protection on right now but these are subsonics it's 22 with a long barrel so it's not ringing our ears your ears ringing or anything so all hearing safe right now which is cool about 22 is even without a suppressor shoot subsonics it's very quiet nice i think it does have a pretty pretty nice little trigger please see yeah go for it we lined up like how many is that like six uh shaving cream cans got it i think you only hit like the first two maybe you didn't go very far i think you hit two i hit that one yep nice work do you want to try something else i'm going to try to hit the bottom of one like this see what happens when a bullet goes in that way sure let's do it got it whoa it came at you oh flame yeah lid off it went all the way through whoa it looks crazy look at that it went in through the bottom through here and then it came out took the whole top of it off nice shot [Music] [Applause] [Music] so you can't use that eye [Music] trying to make it easier for you oh if you would use your left eye probably would have made it i was using both eyes i was doing good you were looking through with both eyes y'all blew up everything what nailed it nice you got it and just like any good demolish ranch video after we make a mess we go investigate figure out what happened you know learn some science you guys got everything all targets are down yep caps over there i never know why we do shaving cream because it is the messiest thing ever you can't walk through it or it gets all over your shoes but it's just so satisfying to watch stuff nice lincoln you need to work on shooting with just your right eye work on winking with this eye yeah so the reason he was saying he was shooting with his the reason he was saying he was shooting his left eyes because he said i can't wink with the other eye so he was doing he was shooting with that not because necessarily it's his dominant eye but because it was hard for him to wink and do that and i was like just leave both eyes open can you wing both okay yeah so you just got it nice so you just could get better at winking the other way or you're supposed to shoot with both eyes open it's kind of hard to but it makes it better but if you got that down to make it way easier and you we just need to get you a table that's the right size too because it was just hard for you to get all lined up on it but it's all just practice it's just time and they need to figure out lying down like this then you figure out where to get straight down that scope so you can see in it but just more days like this you guys are way better than man we came out i don't know when we first got this range a few months ago like the kids had shot before but not a ton we got this range it just made it so convenient because it's always shady and comfy down here so they're a lot better when we came out a few months ago
