which always makes me happy and what I want to say has to do with that there are a lot of youtubers a lot of very big very influential youtubers who talk about being happy and they say you know they talk about being positive and they say just be happy just just kind of turn that frown upside down be happy be positive look at the the glass like it's half-full and you'll feel better it'll it'll wash your blues away but I think I don't think they're wrong let me just say that they're not wrong that is a good way to think but I think they're only telling you like 5% of the formula to be happy just saying you're happy I don't think is gonna make you happy it's kind of helped I'm at least it's not gonna hurt but it's not gonna actually make you happy what I have found is it's not that easy there's a lot more stuff that goes into it to be happy and what what I think you need to do I am NOT a professional in this but I feel like I have reached a point in my life where I'm pretty happy with everything with with my family with my business and and what I think made me this way made me happy in general is a lot of little things that added up to this everyday try to put yourself in a better position than you were the day before and I said it before work out a little bit because you're gonna be a little bit stronger the next day study a little bit because you're gonna be a little bit smarter the next day save a little bit of money cuz tomorrow you'll have a little bit more money if you say that money and those little bits don't matter at all in a small timeframe but over a large timeframe you've been working out a little bit for months you're gonna see muscle changing you're gonna see fat burning you study a little bit for months you're gonna go hey I get this I learned a second language or I know calculus now you save a little bit of money for months or years and you're gonna say well I have enough money starting a business I can do it now I don't have to go into debt to do this or I have enough money to buy my house with no debt these little things pay off and they make you happy when I got out of school I had $60,000 worth of debt school loans just school loans and standing there and looking up at $60,000 worth of debt I was like how am I ever gonna pay this off and so I realized I was in a ten-year plan to pay off that debt and I realized if I'm doing this I'm gonna be like 35 before I'm out of this debt and I was like no I don't want this debt forever and so I started paying extra every month Meredith and I would like scrimp and save and like we would eat cheap and we would not eat out because we're like let's get rid of debt let's kill this debt and we did and we paid it off in two years we worked really really really really hard and saved all of her money and lived a lot smaller than we could have lived because we wanted to pay off that debt and it made me happy it took us two years I couldn't just like say I have a bunch of debt but I'm happy today I'm happy I wasn't but I worked hard and I paid it off so we're card a little bit every day a tiny amount is better than no amount do something a little bitty thing every day that
