I Spent $1500 on Fiverr VTuber Models

okay let me uh open this up okay okay okay guys you can look now oh [ __ ] oh wait what oh sh [ __ ] hi and welcome back to another one of my really dumb ideas that requires a lot of money i wish i just had an idea to like buy snacks from the store or something why do i got to pick the dump that costs over a thousand [ __ ] dollars at a time so today we're gonna spend over a thousand dollars on making me become the best virtual youtuber now at the time of recording there has been a huge boom in v tubers and these streamers and hololive and all that and it's a big big thing that i don't really get i don't watch them if you are a viewer of the trash taste podcast which if you're not what are you doing i mentioned about how i don't really understand v tubers and what better way to learn about youtubers than to become one and you also might know that i have come across a ton of fiverr money by becoming a fiver seller myself which if you haven't seen that saga as well go and click up there and watch that i know i'm redirecting you a lot but trust me it's for a good purpose so i basically have over a thousand dollars of fiverr currency which is a real currency but you know so i figured let's see how much bang for our buck we can get when it comes to getting v tuber models made for us we're going to go with a very cheap version we're going to go with the middle version and then a thousand dollar version and then at the end of this video i'm planning to do a live stream with one of the models and not tell my viewers anything just turn up with the model and just see how they react i hope this goes well i'm sure all of you know what a youtuber is but very very quickly explained basically someone who has a face tracking software and a microphone streams an avatar that tracks along with their face and it's really cool and cute and normally really fun and since i first discovered them and gave my initial thoughts on the trash taste podcast my views have changed right so this one i will make an anime 3d models for v tubers and such this is five dollars what and the premium is 20 where we give him an oc and he'll make it okay so you're probably wondering conor what kind of avatar are you gonna get and it's obviously it has to be my youtube avatar uh which i've had for jesus like six years five and a half it's been a long long time and this is done by a very talented friend of mine and i could have changed it but i don't know why i love the old style it's just kind of stuck with me so we're gonna get this made into a virtual youtuber and i've got tons of more references for other artworks that i've used for it in the past for thumbnails and stuff so we're gonna get the sea dog v8 avatar icon guy i don't know what we call him it's just me i think it's me so we're gonna get this character made into a v tuber and we're just gonna just debut it and not tell anyone boom ordered and for the medium package we're gonna go with i will make a v tube avatar using live 2d and this is from danny who has 51 orders and 5 stars all around the board so damn this guy must be good okay let's uh let's order it definitely not choosing the easiest videos here connor it's going to take about a month for me to get all these and then it's probably going to take me freaking forever to figure out how to set up all this [ __ ] because i have no idea what i'm doing and finally we have the ultra premium expensive option i will design professional live 2d and tuber face rig anime character models oh that's so clean the hair moves on its own it's going to look so good so for the perfect package we get character design rigging detailed movements a character file project file delivery and then on top of that we're gonna get special expressions body rotation physical binding head rotation i don't know what any of these means i've never rotated my head it's a terrible joke so we're gonna get that before i just randomly spend a thousand dollars on the seller i just kind of dm them first to get it all sorted to make sure they're all cool with it and yep there they are so 890 dollars oh take my hard earned money take it away so there we have it we have the budget medium and expensive orders completed so once we get it we'll review the orders and then we'll do a live stream with the one that i like the most and just not tell anything to anyone i'm predicting this might be a mess right it is the 18th of october and we have all of our orders complete the only thing we have to do now is put them in our software of choice and get that going [Music] a little bit of a problem i have no idea what i'm doing so uh i'm gonna figure out how to do that now and then at the end of this hopefully i'm not too tired or dead i can rate this and uh give it all my thoughts on which ones are my favorite all right so we have all of our orders the guy who is 22 gave us a vrm file now i don't think that's actually rigged i think the other two files are rigged up already but i think this one we have to actually rig it ourselves i'm not gonna do that but i'm gonna see if we can open it up and at least see what the model quality is yeah i'll just start downloading stuff let's just see what happens that's me ah i don't know if that's me kinda feels like it's a different model being repurposed it's kinda close to what i sent him i mean all right let's be real for 22 i kind of got what i paid for i got a different model kind of repurposed into mine which is totally reasonable because for 22 there should not even be an option for 22 when it comes to this type of work don't think i'm gonna use this one but i'll give him five stars all right so the next one is the 157 dollar one and i believe this is rigged for you and if i'm correct this will work with face rig he's given us instructions great customer service already i've never done this before so i'm just kind of winging it hello you beautiful weebly he knows it's me i wish why why so now that my tracking is working and all this is working and you know if i was to play games i'd look over there if i was going to reach chat if i'm focusing on the game i'm going to look here that's so cool you gave me a sub get out of here oh my god that's so crazy so right now when i stream i look here problem i'm having right now is that my webcam doesn't really detect my eyes when i'm facing towards the place where i normally put the chat there's a few solutions i can do with this either putting my monitor up there or i can just rechat down here and hopefully i don't miss too many donations and put the donations as text-to-speech i think we found the best model i think that goes without saying that we found the best goddamn model money can buy and it didn't take that long to set up i'm actually shocked at how easy that was i mean obviously there was a few difficult moments but overall we got it i cannot wait to do this now all right here's what we're gonna do i'm gonna first of all let me give this person a fat ass five stars right so what i'm gonna do is now is i'm gonna go off camera fully set up all the stream and then i'm going to just stream not say anything just pretend like everything's normal and uh we'll see all the comments i'm sure there's any people who are like what the [ __ ] what is this connor but i am sure the reactions are going to be priceless but for for 900 bucks i'm pretty damn happy with that i don't even like youtubers but i'm so hyped for this so shout out to uh xiaoling for doing this amazing job i hope that i can use your
