THIS GAME SCARED THE **** OUT OF ME | Watson Scott Test - Part 1

oh gee ladies my name is jacksepticeye and welcome to the Watson Scott test even the game itself is doing my intro for me at this point this looks really cool it's a procedurally generated multi choice question horror game that just came out and I don't know what that means but from the screenshots and everything and even just this alone it looks really really cool I played a lot of MultiChoice types of question games and tests and stuff before but another horror one this test is designed to help you understand your deepest anxieties and the underlying cause of your darkest fears okay don't go too far though because you'll find a lot of stuff that we don't want brought up for each question select the response which gives the best most truthful answer okay at the end of the examination you'll receive your analysis and a certificate of participation participation award yay so I like these types of games to try something new with with horror stuff a lot of games fall into the same formulas over and over again with very few try new things like simulacra or something like that tried new stuff please note that typically only 13% of participants are able to complete the test due to the onset of total body paralysis or unanticipated cardiac arrest resulting in dead do you wish to continue I'm dead inside anyway why not all right firstly some calibration questions okay this slow crawl text is gonna be the death of me that's that's really what's gonna drive me insane how many minutes are there in one hour okay what happens if we just write these wrong okay if there treat on the ground you feel sympathetic kind of amused part of me is a little giggly at it but I'm more sympathetic than anything then poor kid only wanted was I speak you're at a firm you make eye contact with a cow you fall in love I contact with a cow in the field the farmer says its name is Samuel it's dinner time and the farmer serves you a plate of ribeye steak [Music] okay I see what you see what you're going for I also want to know if when this stuff all coaches out does it actually say the rest of the question or does it say something else because I can't see I can't pause the game ribbon a snake is not my preferred cut of steak I don't really like ribeye so I mean I'd still be happy that I got ribeye but I'm trying to cut back on my meat consumption and do more vegetarian style of stuff stab the farmer with your knife politely request a vegan option say nothing I'm gonna thank the farmer for the meal anyway I will now show you an image please study it the image will not move okay Oh God haha that snake spider Heather that image make you feel horrid motivated that's so great you know I feel like I'm just gonna get up in the day now and go do all of my work it's so much afraid but it's better than any of the other ones made me feel anxious maybe feel irritable make me feel tingly do you believe in ghosts I do not the idea of ghosts is cool for the sake of horror movies but have you ever seen a ghost no well I wouldn't know would I if they're a ghost and they're convincing enough that maybe I have seen a ghost maybe the afterlife is fallen the ghosts came to earth but that's actually a cool movie I watched it recently called pulse it's a Japanese horror movie and it's old and it's [ __ ] dope no I don't think I have thinking about the room you're in right now has anyone ever died here dying a little insight right now no yes not yet unsure what the [ __ ] oh now I don't like it how unconventional speaking of paranoid if you oh man if I played this game lights off is it nighttime is there somebody in your house right now there's no one in my house right now I'm going to disagree and I strongly disagree because the doors closed and I don't know nobody would know if I went missing well I'm in kind of a position where I think a lot of people would know if I just suddenly went missing five years of consistent uploads and then they suddenly vanished I think people would know nobody would know if I went missing strongly disagree someone would know poultry is the most intelligent form of artistic expression strongly disagree there's no such thing as the most intelligent form of artistic expression that's an artistic expression is it's just whatever you want it to be really whatever comes forth saying one is smarter than the other and kind of actually because this is really good this is a good horror game I know when you're lying to me oh god why was that so fast please ignore any external stimulus concentrate only on this screen there are no unexpected guests in your house there are no unusual sounds coming from inside your house do not take your eyes off the screen do you understand yes god this is really freaking me out liar so let's say if you move something music and help us all relax every night when I go out the monkeys on the table then sing oh god [ __ ] [ __ ] oh my god oh Jesus Christ I hate it I hate it I hate it stop this oh this is the worst that was [ __ ] incredible I'm most afraid of being stuck in an elevator don't do it again there's a bonus test available would you like to take it I think I'm good for now not now maybe another time okay I'll be waiting good body and it closes the [ __ ] game comfortable right now oh my god that was amazing Oh [ __ ] and I wasn't even getting the full effect of that cuz I'm recording it and I mean a like really bright lit like studio style room and it's daylight outside and everything if I was playing that on my own just like if I was just like sitting on my couch in my living room right now with all the lights off just playing this game with a set of headphones on I would be freaked the [ __ ] out legitimately scared because of how that made me feel that that type of like setup and tension and scare and everything that's like stuff that I'm legitimately afraid of like the idea of somebody being in your house and not really knowing her the air and that kind of think it makes me so uneasy oh god that got me holy [ __ ] that was good so glad I played that well done developer oh that was very much like simulacra when I played that it kind of got me on edge you put me in a headspace that I'm not normally in and it really like I'm able to like put myself into that position really easily and I'm able to suspend my disbelief really easily and that's why these types of games get me which is good I like it I love it I love horror games and I love the way they make you feel no other genre of game or movie or anything makes you feel such visceral emotions and I'm legitimately kind of uneasy now going out into my living room even though it's broad daylight anyway cuz imagine that ending and you're sitting in your living room but the good set of headphones on you have to watch this with a set of headphones on you have to watch this in the Darracq I should probably put a disclaimer at the start just to get the full effect of what's going on you need to do it that way otherwise it's not going to have the same kind of like like heart pumping reaction oh man I want to talk about this all day but that like binaural audio like the breathing right in the back like I was like this because I was trying to like block in my ear and like hold my neck and everything so I wasn't getting the shivers up my back [ __ ] holy hell anyway thank you
