you a story of a youtuber who was the queen of seduction used her powers to marry rich start a business and then grind up her husband allegedly most think that she should be investigated many think that she should be in jail but instead she's on dancing with the stars hello you cool cats and kittens it's carol at big cat rescue carol baskin born june 8 1961 in bexar county texas carol's upbringing was extremely rough and eventually left her home after confessing to her family that she has been at knife point by three male neighbors her family was extremely conservative and in the tiger king documentary she suggested that her family believe that she was probably asking for it you know the whole holding the victim accountable and not the predator by 15 she ran away from her conservative christian family after they allegedly failed to understand what had happened to their daughter at 17 she met rock band member named michael murdoch who was 11 years her senior according to carol she said i never liked him but i married him anyway and in 1980 her daughter jamie murdock was born eventually the relationship got abusive but carol wasn't motivated to leave because she now had a daughter and couldn't see herself raising a child on her own carol remembered the day that she threw a potato at michael before she stormed out of the house i had to get out of my marriage and would have eventually killed my husband to do it just to clarify though she said that she would only her husband in self-defense the night she threw the potato after she stormed out the house she was wandering the streets and her knight in shining armor came at the perfect time someone who had more power to save her from this abusive relationship she's in millionaire don lewis he saw carol walking down the streets drove up to her and basically said hey get in i just need someone to talk to i'm very lonely um [Music] she was very wary at first but dawn said don't worry here take this gun and keep it pointed at me and let's just talk bo this man is very bull tell me mortals would you get in the car oh i forgot to mention that don was a married man picking up 17 year olds on the street saying i'm lonely just talk to me be my friend don lewis thought he hit the jackpot young chick 22 years younger vulnerable no money in a situation that she's dying to get out of literally praying to the demons for something to come around and just fall into the palms of her hand and don lewis did you men love to call women easy but who really is the easy one you make it incredibly simple for us girls who know how to play the game and it was no different for carol the night of the potato throw carol and dawn who is married spent their first night together and from there don left his first wife and kids to be with a younger more supple and limber carol baskin [Music] both don and carol being animal lovers they eventually founded big cat rescue in 1992 actually have a youtube channel with over 1 million subscribers and you can see all of the animals that they have helped rescue at their location now there's a lot of controversy or rumors from the documentary tiger king that carol doesn't actually give these cats a good home and they aren't properly cared for along with pocketing a lot of money herself but we won't get into that part but they both had different ideas for the business don was more interested in the trading aspect of animal carol was more into the rescue part so you can see that there was going to be a lot of conflicts for the future and there was carol and lewis started fighting periodically and carol even described in her diary that lewis was venomous dawn began breeding the cats to fill their 40-acre sanctuary the cats quickly multiplied until over 100 big cats roamed their property which they named wildlife on east street carol didn't like lewis's love for breeding and whenever her husband made one of his many trips down to costa rica she would spay and neuter as many cats as she possibly could carol called lewis an animal collector more than a conservationist don was obsessed with sex and would leave her to have relations in costa rica for party weekend the fighting must have gone substantially horrible because in june 1997 don lewis filed a restraining order against carol claiming she threatened to kill him and was in possession of two bang bangs we see you youtube demonetization team and in august 1997 two months after the filing of the restraining order don lewis went missing carol reports her missing husband carol was actually asked to take a polygraph test when this was fresh but she declined because her legal team advised her to can we just be completely real here though polygraph tests have a lot of error they aren't very reliable so if she took one and fell people would be like she killed him and use that to the other side's advantage when people who have been clearly guilty has passed many polygraph tests so i can see why her legal team was like don't do that probably not a good thing to do according to baskin she said that she would have let detectives search the wildfire sanctuary inspects the meat freezer anything i would rather be cooperative but all the legal advice is against it very worried but i i don't feel that separation and there's not much to go on i mean it's just a feeling but it's it's feeling that that helps me to hang on and think that he is okay that he will just walk back in the gate in 2002 five years after don went missing don was declared dead sheriff chad chronister from hillborn county in florida tells the new york times that they still have don's disappearance labeled as a missing persons case and that they don't have any type of evidence not one piece that suggests that he was killed oh i should also mention there was a will that was allegedly forged according to this officer and dawn's family saying um that's not his signature the only update was the fact that they called in some experts to experts to say that the the will was a forgery and i had already told them you know that you know now let's get to the theories dawn's ban was found at the pilot county airport in spring hill florida about 40 miles away from his animal sanctuary people think that dawn could have taken a plane and illegally flown to costa rica to escape carol but the police once costa rica and found nothing that would make this theory true don lewis's lawyer joseph fritz who was featured on tiger king talking about the incident came up with his own theory in my view there's no question but that he was murdered he loved those cats he never would have just walked away from some force made him leave he never said that carol did it but he did say that carol lied i read carol baskin's response to um the tiger king and some of the things she said in there i personally know to be false but my favorite theory that gets my heart tingling mouth watering my body just so happy is the theory that carol grinded him up in the meat grinder and fed him to the tigers lions and other animals on their property that he paid for a meat grinder if you've ever seen a butcher boy meat grinder it's about that big around and that became like this holy exciting thing that i ran him through that grinder and it's like putting around it seems that most people who lost the documentary have come to the conclusion that that is the theory that is true celebrities random people on twitter this girl even has songs about her and what she did with her husband this guy so exotic who is a whole nother story but he did not like her to the point that he tried to carol yeah he's in jail now for all of that ahn's kids also believe the theory it's a perfect scenario to dispose of someone we were upset that the cops didn't test the dna on the meat grinder and carol responded to the accusation with my tigers eat meat they don't eat people there would be bones and remains of my husband out there i'm amazed that people would even think such a thing so what is carol doing now well she's a millionaire a youtuber she's married to this guy carol's a freak i i mean hey love makes you do some crazy things go on you guys big cat rescue is still going on and she's on dancing with the stars unfortunately her appearance on the show was cut pretty short i don't watch the show down in my lair but i saw three different performances on demon tube and the third one where she was dressed as a lion [Applause] [Music] come on it's cute i have to say i watch this with a smile on my face the whole way through because i'm a huge fan of lion king and disney and disney and just look at that cute smile but honestly it wasn't good she was very clunky stiff and the opposite of [Music] flowy so she was voted off i should also mention that don lewis's family is suing carol again because of dancing with the stars according to tmz the family claims baskin has been allowing the show dancing with the stars to joke about lewis's death and even participating in it they played the song savage by meg but the carol baskin murdered her husband version carol baskin kilder husband whacked him the family also said baskin made a joke during a good morning america interview when she says she will quote really kill it next week okay come on that's just being picky i always say i'm gonna kill it and rest in peace don lewis and my demon heart goes out for all the family members but don lewis's family looks like a bunch of karens with that one but that's the story of a youtuber that many people think should be in jail but she's out here living her life on youtube taking care of tigers and dancing in a lion king outfit so do you think that she's guilty or not guilty
