Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Probably sometime tomorrow.
That little exploit was a blessing for the devs lmao Iβm definitely buying this game tomorrow after seeing that video
Well it seems like clever Advertising. :D
dosent matter at all tho. game deserves it.
So glad Spiff made a video about Software Inc., more people need to know about this glorious game.
It's still broken. Plan an OS with all system features and a new framework, then sign on a publisher, and you have 600k+ of capital and five years to invest it in a team to make antivirus software in one year etc, then settle out of court for 600k when the OS is past due.
To fix this exploit, remove the publisher option from the planning menu, and make it an offer to the player, when the player promotes designed software to the programming stage. Funding should be based on the complexity and quality of the design. Marketing should be something I can contract out to another company via an option in the marketing menu of the project, either for money upfront, or a percentage of sales. If the design is high quality, maybe the contract enforces the marketing agency to budget more for my product, hence giving me more followers than if I marketed myself in 1980.
No publisher would ever throw money at a plan of an idea; they would "borrow" your idea without permission if they want it. Publishers fund the implementation of designs, not ideas. Ideas are not bought and sold!
Great video. Definitely did more good than bad, this video made me buy this game just yesterday! Anyways, yeah, exploits are bad but you can tell that Spiffing Brit loves this game, heβs hilarious throughout.
Why? It's easier to use console cheats if you wanna go that route
