This is a great episode, had me laughing from 3 seconds in when i realised what Luis was doing! Bisping back on top form in this one too!

I laughed so hard when Luis told Rebecca she shouldn’t be verified.

What was that app called he was talking about where you can see where crashes are on the highway or cops parked up?

could be honest with you i've been drinking whiskey for the past hour prepping for the show don't lie you've been looking at the youtube comments everyone's sucking your dick oh they love me this week this you just you get a few [ __ ] little bit of support on the [ __ ] podcast on the youtube and now you're now you're drinking whiskey you're slacking off it won't last long lewis i lo i really love the fan base you have one bad show and they will [ __ ] just torch you it's over louis is the flavor of the month listen what can i say all right my friends all of my fans out there thank you i thought you were cheering me but whatever okay go [ __ ] yourself no all right listen i had a little crouching show maybe the last couple i was a little grouchy i hate to tell you what people but i did have my leg [ __ ] removed okay and guess what it [ __ ] hurts and on top of that i'm on a lot of medication okay and guess what that medication totally kills your sense of humor louise kills it absolutely kills it makes you very irritable uh and then as i sit here the longer i see it the more the pain builds in the leg okay so let's get this show on the road because i don't want to turn into a dick again but for what it's worth for what it's worth and for you people listening or you sensitive little butterflies and to you harrington and brian i'm sorry boys i'm sorry i'm sorry i had my leg chopped out and i'm living in discomfort okay i'm sorry what a [ __ ] everyone's ever apologized michael bisping the [ __ ] i apologize we're going to do this i will say this lately and i'm going to get you back here even though you thought you were grumpy i'm not i'm getting your back i really am you know uh because we i we like i watch all four cameras on screen on zoom so i get to see everybody when the camera's not on bisping very often he is literally wincing in pain because he the past few weeks have been brutal and i understand i i completely get it and to your credit dude you know last week was you were a little bit [ __ ] short-tempered you were just really jumping down people's throat and that you recognized it you texted everybody individually you apologized and that's that it is what it is people have shows where they're [ __ ] in a bad mood it is what i've had bad shows i have bad shows all the time baby boy i never apologize i never apologize you're a bigger man than me it wasn't a bad show that was the best deep interview in the history of cpa interviews yeah it was the best steve interview what wasn't saying it was a bad joke said it was kind of kind of a dick at times with you guys and for that i apologize wonderful show numbers are through the roof okay steve is the man right now fantastic in fact our best episode ever slightly disrespectful to my colleagues and for that i do apologize my leg is hanging out i mean i wasn't a lot of pain right now first thing this morning i had morphine and tramadol okay and i haven't taken any more because i don't want to be a dick on this show so for what it's worth right now well i have a question i'm coming down of drugs right now and it's all for you guys so i get a thank you do you do you appreciate what i'm going through right now this is all for you louis here we go all right what question though like is it because some people were saying that because people recognize that they were like in the comments they were like dude if you're on uh painkillers it puts you in a very edgy mood and i've only taken painkillers um for recreational purposes you know just to have some fun all right well we don't we don't condone that on this show it's a big issue it's a big issue but it was the only thing as you were as you were but yeah so or is it that's what it is when you're on the actual painkiller it makes you like irritable yeah no it makes you super irritable i mean if you're abusing them if you're out drinking alcohol and having a great time and one that you might have fun but just in the general day-to-day it messes with your mind i remember uh callum had a bucket handled meniscus tower recently so he had surgery and then we were arguing all the time because he was coming downstairs and he was on painkillers and it's not like callum callum's the most calm placid just the most chill dude ever and uh yeah he was he was being very very argumentative and then the next day was oh sorry dad that wasn't me and i know you find someone so that's what he does there's my disclaimer anyway we'll move on we'll forget about it i am drinking a little beer okay to try and soothe my ailments i know you're drinking the whiskey so you know we got the party started early uh tomorrow though i drive into well i go to vegas for the contender and then i'm back to commentating duties let me ask you this lewis do i fly or do i drive i'm not supposed to drive yet i'm not ready but i'm going to be in vegas for 12 days and i'll need a car when i'm there or i could fly which is easy or i could drive and have a car when i'm there but the problem is i might get halfway to vegas and be in [ __ ] agony keeping that leg in the same position is it your right uh your right leg no your left leg was just nice the right leg that it was just done that's the one you're using yeah that sucks dude i i you know i can relate only because i i hurt my foot recently and just and i i think you could laugh at it but i really did driving even for like 20 30 minutes and just sort of like lifting my foot it hurts so much after a little while it's [ __ ] annoying to the point where i start driving with my left foot which is [ __ ] crazy don't do that don't do that that's insane don't drive with the left foot that is number one not your good foot so your reactions will be slower and then you'll go to use your rifle i don't know don't use don't use a left foot that's a recipe for a disaster oh my god that guy can disappear uh sorry about that fellas anyway we do have a great show so what are you doing i'm gonna decide tomorrow i'll see how i feel here's what i'm gonna do after this show oh [ __ ] i'm drinking now i was gonna go for like an hour's drive see how the leg feels you know what i'm saying uh but we'll see i'm gonna be in vegas for 12 days i need a car i can't walk i'm in now we're not staying on a strip casino because obviously the ufc takes over a hotel and then you've got a quarantine and all that stuff but in between fights i'm going to want to get around i don't know it's cheap as [ __ ] i'm not there's something everywhere i'm not ubering everywhere bollocks to that i'm not gonna go rent a car either i'm busy i'm busy i'm gonna drive baby i like my independence i mean i just feel like if if you get if you get there you'll be there you won't have to drive the time you'll be more comfortable and then if you rent a car you can just drive around little by little yeah yeah no i know i know i have issues with renting cars i believe that there okay never mind moving on moving on moving on what did you do at a [ __ ] alamo car rental yeah no i didn't heard i did nothing uh as i would just say we do have a great show planned for everybody today obviously we had some good fights on last weekend steve hey miocic on the last show how good was steve what a guy a lot of people were legitimately saying it was his best interview he was super comfortable i really like him a lot what a nice guy um you know and yeah i mean whatever i i just overall good person i mean once in a while you meet a person in the world of whatever not even just mma but anything you're like oh this guy's a [ __ ] really good person you wish the best for him and um yeah it was nice to sort of have him let his guard down a little bit and reveal that side of himself because i think he gained a lot more fans everybody has an amazing amount of fans but i don't think you get to see that much of uh these fighters sometimes supporters remember supporters supporters i apologize listeners yeah no no no you're absolutely right same with dc you know it's weird whenever my mom gives me a compliment she then has to compliment everyone else in the family or if she's talking to me about my sister oh my god my sister she's sharing she's she's a good girl right enough but then she always has to feel the need to compliment me so and she won't as well and you and i'm like mom that's fine you can compliment one of my siblings without having to compliment me and that's how i feel right now because we're talking about stephen i'm like oh oh and dc because everything we just said about stipe does apply to dc dc is a great guy but yeah stipe thank you very much uh last night we had some good fights we're going to get into them in a little bit we've got a few little topics that we're going to get into before we do uh where do you want to start lewis uh i'm feeling the novak djokovic story i like that one i'm glad you said his name because i had no idea i was gonna say novak djorkovic dorkovich is he a famous tennis player i have no idea bro bro he's like the most famous tenant i mean there's roger federer i'd say he's probably the most well-known right now yeah novak djokovic he's like one of the top tennis players not that i know anything about tennis i can't you know sit here have you i have i actually did uh the coaches challenge on season nine of the ultimate fighter against dan henderson i guess dan henderson you and dan anderson just hitting yourself in the head with tennis rackets it was shocking it was the worst thing you've ever seen in your life i've never played tennis before dan henderson obviously had played a little bit he did take ten thousand dollars off me they're pretty oh no uh yeah it was bad i remember dean amazing one of my buddies he was coaching me along and i'm like dean just let me go let me just [ __ ] hit the thing yeah tennis not my game so what happened with novak well when i was in high school i dated a girl that was on the junior varsity tennis team and the junior varsity tennis female team in north rocklin high school was [ __ ] garbage they were the least i mean they were just like all the girl like anybody who was okay at tennis just got on the varsity team yeah but did they do this ah dude these girls they were basically mentally handicapped it was crazy it was just a bunch of like cute chicks just sort of sitting around in a tennis court like just not really no athleticism no nothing and one day i decided to play them and i'm just a fat kid i was like let me let's play and i just beat like three different girls in a row that were on the junior bar this is what they do it was a goddamn nightmare um but all right so what what exactly happened here i saw he got uh he got disqualified yeah yeah so you sent me the story but i did look into it and when i saw it i thought it was i felt for the guy so he was uh i think it was the us open and we'll see the tape in just a second so i think he was contesting a decision that the umpire is there um it's an umpire in tennis yeah the umpire a decision that the umpire made no that would be the line guy but the umpire is the head honcho he sits up on a high like lifeguard chair representing over the uh festivities but you do have a lime ref as well harrington uh brian that's what you're reading in the story but the umpire the [ __ ] umpire obviously said no no no no that was out it wasn't in it was out something like that old novak djokovic no wasn't having it having absolutely none of it starts kicking off a little bit umpire says no [ __ ] you it was out so what does he do he takes his ball and in a bitter bridge she just whacks the ball right now if you play the tape now brian i feel for the guy i mean look at this it was pretty innocent there's the the ball lady here he is throws it look at his face wait for it see oh he didn't mean to do that oh you gotta say what happened because we don't even see we we didn't actually say or see what happened yeah no so that ball that he hit with the tennis racket hit the uh the sideline girl in the throat and she immediately dropped it and had to be uh taken off should i hear her are you going to hell you think that's funny yes she's okay [Laughter] oh in the words of derrick lewis she's okay uh yes if she was hurt or had to go to the hospital if she was and please make sure i'm i'm right about this and if she was terribly hurt and she's dead right now edit all this out but i believe she's okay it's [ __ ] hilarious that he accidentally hit a girl in the throat with a tennis ball just play that clip one more time because i don't think the trajectory of that ball was even headed for neck height and i also think that she's playing on it i think she's doing a she's trying to get an insurance claim here look at that oh i don't know that was kind of we see it do we see it there's no video of the actual impact of the ball in the chick stop no no no because think about it the cameras are on the tennis player they're not on the [ __ ] the the sideline girl anyway so she drops and then later on he got disqualified he got disqualified how do you feel about that i well i guess the the rule is like he said it wasn't um and it seems that it wasn't on purpose but even so the rule states that if you're doing something negligent you can be disqualified so i guess they were saying like he was being an [ __ ] in that moment and [ __ ] decided to whack a ball like a child the way my son would [ __ ] whack them all across the room um and it ended up hitting this chick in the throat um it's a little bit of a dick move though he's one of the top guys i think he's won the u.s open seven times in a row maybe i'm wrong though but i think i read that earlier and then to kick him out to like you know one could argue that there's a little bit of a conspiracy going on here like oh get him out of it oh he he hit the girl in the throat boom there you go he's out the competition he was the number one guy i think so yeah i think he's won that tournament seven times so come on you know what i mean if i win something seven times i expect to [ __ ] be able to abuse some of the stuff and get away with it you know what i'm saying you know yeah welcome to the believe you me podcast [ __ ] nobody [ __ ] i whack harrington in the neck with a [ __ ] tennis bracket every day never mind the ball it's with the [ __ ] racket yeah if you give michael bisping a tennis racket i'm telling you right now it will be a major problem exactly you thought it was a date last week oh you ain't seen anything yet baby boys um you know what's an accident i'm sorry good no no you're good go on well i was gonna say it's an accident um if he's you don't want to see you know i it draws i'll draw comparison to jon jones right you don't want to see jon jones be stripped of a title because he does some stupid [ __ ] outside of the octagon you don't want to see him you know [ __ ] up his career because he gets caught doing some stupid [ __ ] you know and breaking the rules um you want to see the number one guy compete and win and see if he's truly number one um but it's a stupid move and the rules are the rules so if you and they know that they're very they very clearly know those rules there's no way they don't know if you throw your tennis racket and hit somebody in the head you're gonna be serious man yeah no you know steve mcenroe was it steve mcenroe john mcenroe john mcenroe yeah he was a [ __ ] he was but that was his thing it became a shtick that was his thing and it was okay for him i was just gonna say because you raised a good point there think about all the fans all the tennis fans right whoa whoa the listeners they're tennis listeners but these are fans we're not talking about my fans or my supporters we're talking about the fans of a sport that i'm not even involved with okay does tennis weirdos i know it's a very popular sport right and novak djokovic as and to your point is one of the stars and people go they want to see the stars they want to see the big plays they want to see you serena williams you roger federers your people like that that's that's what drives the television viewing figures that's what makes the sport more popular stars so realistically by their actions of disqualifying him that's only affecting the viewers the listeners and the sport ultimately as well so i don't really understand that but i tell it it did remind me of a pretty funny story when i was younger i used to play rugby right on a sunday morning my dad would take me to blackburn rugby club and uh it was always a [ __ ] show but anyway i remember one time i a lot of the time rugby union most of the time i didn't even understand the rules if i'm honest it's so [ __ ] complicated but i just knew i had to get the ball and then one time the referee stopped blew the whistle we're all stopping and i had the ball in my hand and he called for the ball and i was a little pissed off whatever so i kicked the ball up in the air just very gently in that kind of direction and the ball went up in the air and the referee didn't know and he's like standing there doing something and the ball came down going and cracked the referee right on the head and i swear to god i exaggerated not one little bit it knocked the referee unconscious and it was the funniest [ __ ] thing we had all ever seen in our lives the poor referee because we were all about 15 we didn't give a [ __ ] we were all little shits and when the referee fell on the floor unconscious from the ball landing on his head we laughed we laughed a lot we really did so anyway uh novak djokovic he's gone baby boy that's it what are you gonna do what do you do you break the rules hey you know we live in a different world baby the rules are meant to be broken in our world but not in the world of tennis [ __ ] raw dog baby boy that's just how it is that's just how it is all right let's take a moment and talk about our incredible sponsor crossroad crossover what a what a fun sponsor everyone's trying to get back in shape right now we talk about it constantly it's a theme on this show not only will we a lifestyle and mma show but i'd like to think that we're a little bit of a health and fitness show as well we talk about health and fitness a lot better that's because we're very fit and healthy people it's part of our lifestyle it's in our dna it's in our makeup and maybe you're one of those people or maybe you're someone that wants to release endorphins maybe lose a few pounds maybe feel good about yourself put one foot in front of the other maybe you want to exercise but you haven't got the access to all the equipment that the magnificent louis j gomez does but fortunately you don't need all that equipment i mean come on you've watched rocky you've seen the training montages what is the coolest part of any training montage is when rocky's skipping both he's jumping around he's skipping the ropes he's crossing the ropes he's [ __ ] jumping all over the place i mean rocky iv when he was climbing up a mountain with [ __ ] logs on his back he was training for the the to avenge his friend's death ignore what lewis is saying anyway back to the jumping off the rope uh no listen if you do that what does it do obviously it burns calories it provides excellent stamina not just for your shoulders your shoulders burn but for your legs your whole body workout you're going to burn calories you burn stamina mental focus all that type of stuff and of course with the crossroad you got these special adjustable handles you got different weighted ropes as well from beginner to advanced you can customize your workout and then also it comes with the app as well well i wanted to jump in there because i want to explain sort of that what that is the thing that really makes cross rope unique is those handles so right you have all these different weighted ropes maybe have three or four different weighted ropes you bring them around with you but you're not carrying all of these different uh you know jump rope sets with you it's just the ropes themselves that you're carrying and they clip to the handles which is very very unique that's really high grade really high quality and the app they have i mean so many different workouts you can track your fitness track your results the entire program is a fun really incredible way to get back in shape yeah so you can get your heart rate up while working your core you back your shoulders arms glutes and more no fluff just a fun effective workout which anybody can do and it's easy to get started with your cross rope just order your ropes and download the app and then enjoy the results so if you want to give it a try which i recommend you do if you want a full homebody workout just visit crossrope.com forward slash believe and you'll get up to forty dollars off your first crossroads set plus free shipping when you check out today at crossroad.com believe that's b e l i e v e crossroad dot com slash believe all right where were we um what else we got what else we got lewis i know there's one more about flying cars you had to point out the raw dog shirts so people knew because your microphone's covering it my microphone is covering it and as we spoke about i don't want to get [ __ ] from the guy that runs the daruntel store because last time i never reposted it and i was like [ __ ] say mike i know you wore the [ __ ] shirt on the podcast like but the microphone [ __ ] covers it up the whole time so do you know what i mean you need to [ __ ] do that again our kids so yeah there you go uh guy at darren tell story you can still go [ __ ] yourself but thanks for the shirt raw dogs baby boy uh where do we want to go one more story before we get into the fights you want to talk about these flying cars because that is fun flying cars it is let's go flying cart up let's go what's going on there's a video of this i i literally just saw the video and i sent it to you i didn't read the article i know nothing about the flying car i know it was coming out in 2013. i just went 2013. wow no no 20 30. sorry 2023. yeah 2023 now i saw this a few days ago as well uh yeah flying cars i mean if they're saying it's going to come out 2023 it's a company in japan maybe harrington you can find some actual factoids of information we can share with the people here but that is mind-blowing and i never really thought we'd see flying cars i don't really think that's something that we need and i don't think it will happen because think about it it's bad enough right now air traffic control you know you have to have air traffic control you got to control all the [ __ ] planes in the air they're gonna crash into each other could you imagine if every [ __ ] had a flying car that would be bedlam yeah you can't you can't even have a drone in certain cities like new york city is illegal to fly a drone you know you can't fly drones within certain like things and certain you know airports and so i couldn't imagine it becoming such a need for flying cars to that traffic has become such a problem that everyone's like you know we gotta start spending probably a half a million dollars each on a flying car um so the it's not gonna be legal to fly this thing anywhere it seems more likely that electronic cars will be the way we go where there's driverless vehicles where they figure out like algorithms for traffic and they can sort of get everyone in the fastest most efficient way there we're doing it if you do use waze ever i was just about to mention ways when you were talking about that yeah if i'm when we're driving in the car i have waze on all the time i know i know the way you know what i mean but i put waze on because obviously it predicts the traffic for you so if there's going to be a big enough there's a cop there and it lets you know more importantly if there's a cop around ah i'm serious i have that [ __ ] ways of police spotted in one mile and my wall applies the break immediately do you also say because you got to do this dude you got to be part of the [ __ ] waze community they say is it still there and you got to hit yes he's still there well here's my thing with waze don't encourage me to be a dangerous driver okay talk to me through the bluetooth that sounds like i often wonder who the [ __ ] is updating the waze you know what i mean when you're driving oh sometimes you see something on the side of the road there's a vehicle stopped and shoulder ahead i'm like oh oh yeah just report that on such and such a street there was a vehicle stopped in the shoulder bang all of a sudden i crashed into somebody seven people dead was it worth it was it worth it dead raccoon on northbound lane like what the [ __ ] is taking their time for the wage community guys for the waze community but seriously if you don't have ways in your drive a lot i recommend you get it because it is the [ __ ] but don't update it while you're driving but you got to think about that right so like when there's driverless cars eventually right why couldn't they get everybody going 180 miles an hour harrington actually said this to me recently we were just smoking weed and talking about this and it was true but why couldn't it be like everyone's going 200 miles an hour right we're on these [ __ ] super crazy fast i think isn't um elon musk trying to do some crazy [ __ ] like that like underground subway cars yeah elon musk has been working on an underground subway high-speed subway i think for quite some time and elon musk is always working on some kinds of crazy things um but you were talking before about the traffic and but honestly the traffic out here in los angeles and in new york excuse me and every major city in the world the traffic right now is just [ __ ] out of control that's why god rest his soul remember kobe bryant he lives in orange county he would always take his helicopter to los angeles you know i mean if you can afford it it's a great way to get around but as we know that uh unfortunately uh resulted in the death of him and his daughter which absolutely tragic but yeah there you go i mean if you can afford it you want to avoid traffic and flying cars would avoid that but i i i'm just not sure it's a good idea i can see that only ending in tears right now self-driving cars are all already a bit of an issue you know innocent people getting caught by them and ran over by them and causing accidents flying [ __ ] cars that's a recipe for disaster with the self-driving cars though because i hear that as well right on isn't human error more likely because you hear that it's like a self-driving car killed uh you know a grandma and [ __ ] whatever you're like okay but like there's like 30 dudes who killed grandmas last week because they were drunk driving and being idiots and and speeding or on this on their cell phones looking and texting so i would i trust i trust the technology more than i trust human error no yeah to be fair so do i you know i really do i mean you're more likely to get killed on the way to the airport as they say in a car crash than what you are on the airplane in a car crash so yeah there you go but yeah flying cars that was always one of those things when i was a kid you think they would exist but then as it was getting more and more futuristic the world i thought now we're never going to see them but there it is and that got us thinking that got us thinking about things futuristic inventions that were as a kid we thought impossible but now they are here i mean jesus christ flying cars in fact on the news last week jet packs on the news last week a pilot as he was landing into lax reported a man flying at 200 miles an hour next to the plane on a [ __ ] jet pack there you go there's another one nobody thought jet packs would be a thing of the future i mean these are all like you know movies we watched as kids what was that the rocketeer the rocketeer loved it you loved it this i really by the way i saw in his eyes he really did love it i went to the movies to watch it listen listen money was tight when i was growing up i didn't get to go to the movies every weekend you know but i saw that rocketeer movie and by [ __ ] god i enjoyed it the rocketeer i had some popcorn i went with my own mate we had a hell of a time we got a chip butty on the way home we didn't speak to a single [ __ ] girl because we were [ __ ] useless at talking to anybody but uh yeah if our memory serves me rightly kind of a lame movie but a beautiful experience as a child yeah i um yeah so it was back to the future too they had flying cars um but all these technologies were sort of like they didn't make any nobody thought where the technology was going all the technology is now is like how can we advertise to you take your data and advertise is it crazy like it's not about flying cars or any of the cool futuristic [ __ ] that we thought it was going to be well i'll tell you the one that always uh kind of grabbed me was total recall with arnold schwarzenegger and how they did the video calls you know they had that it wasn't on a cell phone it was on the house phone but boop and then it popped up and [ __ ] you know i remember sharon stone was talking to what was he called the bad guy whatever uh yeah and i was like wow look at that video calls wow that's insane do you think we'll ever have that in the future and now of course we do [ __ ] facetime is the most annoying thing in the world people don't call me anymore they facetime me all the time and it's like not every call has to be a facetime and jan bisping my father love your loads dad and i know you listen to the podcast not every [ __ ] call has to be at face time because sometimes i'm letting bed sometimes i'm not camera ready sometimes i don't want to stare into your eyes for 20 minutes as we're talking you know what i'm saying if you facetime me i am going to furiously masturbate into the camera that's what i'm going to do every single time so don't do it me or anyone in general anyone in general it is weird it is kind of weird that like facetime um what's called that it's like it's not we've been adopted like this it's popular people use it but i only have like three or four friends that regularly try to facetime it's always chicks chicks like the face time oh god they actually do their [ __ ] makeup or [ __ ] i don't know whatever whatever they like to manicure themselves while they talk so they need their hands free so i think it's easier for them yeah i'm a phone call i'm a phone call guy still though i don't like texting i don't like facetiming i'm a phone call guy you are you're a frantic phone caller you are a frantic phone caller you know what i mean i don't know what your morning routine is how many coffees you have but you call me you're three hours ahead bye hang up gone don't that's it we know you're a caller yeah yeah uh so hold on so what we got we've got flying cars we've got jet packs we've got facetime what else is a kid what kind of other technology harrington did you uh we told you to look some stuff up but what are we missing here out of like big technologies from movies hold on before he says let me just try and think so we got the cars hi harrington welcome to the show by the way how are you buddy doing all right mike those things on your head oh very very blasey i'm doing all right oh how's the weight how's the weight loss going going pretty good man i'm down like 185 right now oh i can see those cheekbones baby see those cheekbones you know are you actually lifting and doing any kind of resistance training uh no so it's been mostly just the uh uh the cross rope and a lot of cardio uh haven't really gotten to my lifting routine yet yeah but you want to do that you want to firm up those biceps they're looking a little jelly-like but but congrats that's great no it's great to see no seriously you've lost so much weight that's awesome and and i'm not just saying this to make up for the last show you [ __ ] cynical fox well you know gyms are open in new york uh this week so i'm pretty excited to actually get in there and start putting some muscle on this uh now too skinny frame ah nice well congratulations yeah rebecca rebecca uh technologies that weren't around when we were kids and we thought they were too futuristic we're talking about face time flying cars jet packs what do you have rebecca just bought me a beer in by the way anything anything anything would be around no that is around whatever just futuristic stuff oh i got one go on so you're all right remember like a robot that cleans which you have in your house your little [ __ ] duster thing remember rocky iv they got paulie his [ __ ] little uh made robot exactly yeah exactly i hated that robot i hated that [ __ ] rob happy birthday bali yeah paulie didn't like the robot either no miserable bastard that paulie but also the maid but you you have your little [ __ ] rover your but i was going to buy one they're 500 [ __ ] dollars bisping the you get what you pay for if you want a personalized electronic maid you know he has real maids and then he's gonna roll back i don't know if i can clean on a tuesday you know once a week isn't enough no those rumors they are loud as [ __ ] i hate it when rebecca puts that i'm like turn that [ __ ] thing off i can't think anyway harrington list is up baby boy throw some uh items futuristic items that we didn't think of throw them at us all right first one up is the oldest movie probably on the list uh 2001 a space odyssey remember hal 9000 was a computer you could talk to it would do all kind of different tasks for you now you have your google home your alexa even hey siri on your phone um that is good i will say this never seen 2001 space odyssey is that bad i've never seen it either it's a classic movie though is that stanley kubrick yeah i got to see it you know being the film buff that i am you know what i mean you know i i like cinema i like to feel it's one of my passions and one of my persons is cinema uh yeah i've never seen that but you're right we do have siri hold on let's give it a go hey siri who is louis j gomez you'll need to unlock your iphone first fair enough a little bit of sass from my [ __ ] iphone okay hey siri who is louis j gomez what would you like to know about luz jay gomez what country is he from it looks like you don't have an address listed for louise jay gomez try to get my [ __ ] address out to the believers siri go [ __ ] yourself you suck i'm assuming on 2001 in space how to say it worked uh well you know it was you know whatever they were they were trying to pull your contact lewis j gomez not lewiston very very famous celebrity that's another thing where it's like i feel like it's not completely perfect yet but that technology is going to be like crazy in the future but you're gonna walk into a room and everyone's gonna be like lights on you know but you're never you're just gonna think it you're gonna think lights on and you're gonna [ __ ] the lights will go on i gotta say the series pretty good now though it has got better i used to detest it i used to hate it but it actually is pretty good and the hey google do you have one of those at home they're [ __ ] awesome no i have uh alexa yeah same [ __ ] whatever it's really good i like the robot the row i'm thinking about getting james one it's this little [ __ ] cute robot see if you could pull it up it's pretty adorable it's essentially an alexa built into this little robot that moves around and acts like a pet but it's like it's just i'm trying to remember the name of it it's just it's really [ __ ] cute vector yes dude you got to see vector all right now check it out harrington what else you got uh well another technology that where i feel like we're right on the cusp of it being like a very widely known thing uh if you remember uh minority report uh when tom cruise would reach up and grab the the computer screen you can now do that uh obviously with all the virtual reality stuff you could do with the microsoft kinect it feels like that technology is getting better by the day um all right um don't sell that one i it's a pretty cool [ __ ] pizza you're right i get it hey iphone you [ __ ] nobody had a comment on that one whatsoever harrington touch sensitive screens have been around but that's what you're saying basically right but also i think minority report let me say this i think we're gonna even go even further with that right so do you remember the the plot of minority report best ping yes of course you can go you gotta go and stop crimes before they even happen future crimes that [ __ ] was going to happen watch so we're going to have algorithms based off of your internet activity [ __ ] that you've done they're going to go you're going to god 5g 5g not just 5g i'm telling you right now in a court of law they're going to take our data they're going to take our internet activity the things we like on social media they're going to have a [ __ ] footprint based off of who we are and it's like you are a despicable person you're a good i bet you this is something in our lifetime in our lifetime no they can't they can't because i forget the term now trust me i've been there many [ __ ] times they can't bring up any of that stuff because it it presents uh a preconceived notion to the jury or to the judge i forget what the term is now so like any of your past offenses they can't know let's say you you're on trial for being somebody that has beaten up many many people let's say you're on trial for assault and you have beaten up a few people and been penalized for it and and sentenced to a jail term when you go to court they can't mention any of that otherwise it would give them you know that preconceived question this guy's a repeat offender so you walk in there they might have that minority report they might have all kinds of [ __ ] they'll be like louis jay gomez yes child sex offender yes thief yes doesn't pay the podcast staff enough yes disrespectful to michael bisping yes but unfortunately they can't mention any of that they've just gotta look at you for the shiny headed uh undefeated mixed martial artists that you are i'm gonna say right now i think you're completely wrong about everything you're saying if you beaten people up and you go on trial for beating somebody up i'm pretty sure they can say hey this guy has a pattern in his life of beating people [Music] i forget the term but here's the thing that will come into play at sentencing when you're getting sentenced then they will look up the rapture maybe there's some old-timey [ __ ] white wig british horse [ __ ] in the good old united states of america if you are a [ __ ] convicted sex offender and rapist and some chick gets raped in your neighborhood they're gonna go oh yeah this guy rapes pretty regularly he ties them up he does this he does this it's a pattern of behavior there's no [ __ ] way there's no way they don't take that into consideration they absolutely do not take it into consideration the only time they take that into consideration is when it comes to sentencing because they can't blur the lines they can't have an opinion already formed they have to base this trial upon facts of what they see not on historical events i am correct on this list what about a character with what i need to say i'm speaking from experience okay not for rape trials i just want to point that out i've never been on trial for rape but i have been on trial for this very precisely i've never gone to trial i know i know for a fact okay they don't break it up baby boy and thank [ __ ] god we would not be doing this podcast right i believe you like i i do believe but there's there's something there's some gray area to what you're saying there isn't there is no because trust me as of right now i'm going through a lawsuit and i'm like what about this that this this this you know under like the like oh rebecca's shushing me in the background they're like is it civil is it civil or criminal though because maybe in criminal you can in civil you can't i hate to say it but i've got experience in both civil and the criminal okay civil okay that's what we're saying right now all right all right real quick we gotta talk about how incredible what i mean all day wouldn't rebecca they wouldn't even verify you would there he does nothing she's a [ __ ] wife of a famous person what did they say that you're not what famous no i think like i'm not unique enough like i don't do something that's unique to something that's what she's just a hot wife that's not you don't get verified for being a hot wife that's what i said are you saying i shouldn't be verified saying no losers shouldn't be verified i'm also saying you shouldn't be verified i just got to be honest i can't lie to the people here for what reason nice well i've got 22.4 they're gonna hear this yes at the weekend we had uh alastair over him taking on augusto sakai and i gotta say that's where i wanna start because i am in awe to be honest of of alistar over him what he's still doing what he's achieving at his age and having been around combat sports for so long it's [ __ ] mind-blowing right without bringing up his entire resume which would take the whole podcast to do he made his mma debut in 1999 rebecca sidwick over there listening rebecca bisping should i say i met her in 1999. that was 21 years ago right i made my debut uh in professional mixed martial arts in 2004. people talk about me being an og in a legend and very kind words but [ __ ] me overland's been at it since 1999. not only that he was a uh k1 grand prix kickboxing champion so it was a very very accomplished kickboxer he fought in pride fighting uh ufc he's just been around forever he's been close to becoming the champion a few times but he failed in a few ten attempts uh there was talk there that his chin had gone when usada came in his body kind of changed and things like that so there's a lot of narratives there's a lot of uh conspiracy theories a lot of theories uh but here's the fact he is still he has still got it he looked [ __ ] outstanding on saturday night because sakai young talented not much miles on the clock very very good striker big big power took it to over him in the first two rounds right it was all over him landing big long combinations against the fence uh over him was covering up very very well like an old veteran and not panicking that's what you got to do in that situation not panic cover it up i would have liked to have seen sakai go to the body though anytime lewis when you're taking on jason alice in bellator uh back him up against the fence and and ellis is covering up like this and he's like oh [ __ ] it now might jesus christ lewis your [ __ ] boxes why better than what i thought it would be right and he's there and he's covering up the face what does that leave open oh the body i would have liked to seen sakai go to the body uh but it didn't round one round two that was basically the story of it round three over overeem took him down and it wasn't even a good take down no disrespect but it doesn't matter the takedown that works is a [ __ ] perfect takedown it was a weird single leg but it worked and he got on top of him and he pounded the [ __ ] out of him and it was clearly evident that sakai had no answer for him on the ground that's over him strength he's been around for so long primarily he's a striker she's weird because he's a k1 guy who's known as a kickboxer but now he's taking down guys and beating guys in the grappling department that technically he's not even supposed to be able to beat well if you look at his record though back in the day in pride he was submitting a lot of people he had a very very good ground game i haven't got his record in front of me maybe harrington looked that up but yeah no he had some very very good submissions so he's well-rounded took sakai down and dominated him on the ground came very close to finishing him round four did the same thing took him down easy and so therefore going into round five it was two and two now on the fee sakai seems to be the better guy but it is mixed martial arts and with the savvy with the experience just the mental toughness uh and realistically just the experience he knew it was a very very clear path to victory round five he went out there and he wasted no [ __ ] time shot in straight away got a single leg and again it wasn't a very good single leg sakai really really needs to work on his takedown defense because he went down far too early over him got on top pounded him out [ __ ] job well done he has my respect forever i mean i i feel like the the experience factor was huge because over him seemed to be just sort of pacing himself not wasting any energy and sakai just i mean really i mean i don't know why i i don't know what like the compute strike or whatever the the numbers were but sakai was just just constant flurries just boom boom and it was like over him looked like he was actually really in trouble because he did get hit a bunch um and it was just sort of like that calm cool collectedness and he was like all right i'm going to let this guy punch himself out let him punch himself out and then when he came on he came on strong i mean the you know the the difference between the way they looked i mean sakai was all beat up and bloodied and battered there but i i would assume that the experience was a major factor there because he just seemed to know exactly what he needed to do in order to win the fight yeah well if sakai works on his takedown defense and get a gets a better ground game he'll he'll you know he's a potential title challenger down the line but yeah you know for for over him it was experience right because you know you talk about yeah i talk about this a lot you see fighters go out there and you hear the coaches on the sidelines screaming breathe breathe because new fighters that are kind of new to it and i'm sure you maybe experienced this in your vast number of fights that you had but people forget to [ __ ] breathe you know what i mean but as you get more used to it you do calm down and then so imagine you're in there and you're trying to throw punches but it's a wild environment right you're on tv there's thousands of people not at the moment but generally you know oh it's it's a real high pressure situation so you do forget to breathe well never mind that imagine being against the fence and you're covering up like that and someone's [ __ ] pounding the life out of you but to have the composure to stay calm right and to just ride with it to roll with the punches to block up and just think this motherfucker's gonna punch himself out in a minute he can't keep throwing like this just to stay nice and calm i mean that takes years and years of experience and mental composure it was impressive really was yeah so i mean what do you want to see next for over him because he you know he's just that guy i really you gotta love us over because he's been around for so long it's that old guard right only 40 years old by the way you think is probably older because he's been around for so long he's only 40 years old yeah you know i i i'm 41 years old later in the year i can't really do an all-star over into a while but he does kind of talk like this no he's a really [ __ ] solid dude we interviewed him recently where was it i think it was jacksonville florida very very good that guy very funny talks about his long longevity in the career uh in the sport because he's had he's really looked after his body you know and that's that's a really interesting takeaway there he is looked after his body so any young fighters lewis harrington brian any of you guys uh take care of your body he said he stretches a lot does a lot of yoga he focuses on his diet and you can see that because almost 41 years old and still performing at the highest level did he ever maybe i'm not wrong about this i believe if memory serves he was using trt legally and then when they changed things he stopped right did he ever get popped for anything because he was a [ __ ] he was built like a brick [ __ ] house i don't remember if he was ever popped um for steroids yeah yeah i don't know i don't know i feel like we live in a world where he was i feel like we live in a world where he was i feel that i feel like i'd be shocked if we live in a world where he was like and the only reason i say that is because i can see i don't know what ufc weighing it was but i see it i see him on the [ __ ] scale massive yeah there's one there and he was gigantic and his back was here and his stomach was just ripped he's like and i'm like bro come on you saw it come on yeah yeah and then he but he's he looks very very healthy i know he fought as uh he fought chocolate l at 205 pounds i believe in pride back in the day yep um so just like a very like what a crazy like sort of like body he has and the way he's like adapted and being able to move up and down and if he's played within the rules let me tell you something i mean you know he uh harrington i'm waiting for him to to chime in in the chat to find out if he's ever been popped because he i still don't have an answer to this but um i feel like we live in a world where he has and that's all i'm saying i i honestly don't know the facts to that i don't know i do know that when usada came in and things started getting stricter there was a change to his body right i don't know if he was on tv but he still looks great he looks incredible well that's what i was going to say because for a while though he did definitely lean out and then lose a lot of the muscle mass but now now obviously you know i mean maybe there was some change to the supplements he had to take maybe there was some legal changes you know i'm assuming he was doing everything by the book but if he was on testosterone replacement therapy back in the day that was allowed regardless of what we think about it so he wasn't breaking any rules 2012 he got popped oh he did it was for anti-inflammatory um yeah sure right well it was the whole horse meat thing right i think he blamed it on the horse mate that was a legendary line because they eat horse in europe drug test yeah i mean look obviously you know he came from the old school pride days and he's if he's been clean since for eight years nothing you know you said this a while ago you were like you're like look you know [ __ ] happens you were while you were competing you were very critical because you were competing and your life was on the line and you were really [ __ ] you took it very personally when guys you were fighting got popped or you found out later on that they were abusing um but you know i i think at one point you know people make their mistakes it is what it is i i i don't think that aleister overeem is cheating he looks like he's just at you know he looks like he's as good as he's ever been it's crazy that the sport adapts and changes and he's still right there beating the absolute top guys well the interesting thing right now is that he's beating them with his savviness that's how he's beating him he's not going out there in a whirlwind of aggression right throwing crazy powerful strikes yeah and i'm not being detrimental to him but you know like francis in ghana francis in ghana goes out there on pure physicality and of course technique and of course he trains but he just [ __ ] whirlwinds everybody thing you get caught with one and that's it you go to sleep overeem isn't doing that over he now realizes you know he's 41 maybe he's a little slower maybe his body's slowed down a little bit but he's got tons of [ __ ] experience which you can lean on so you see him sometimes he's being very elusive he utilizes a lot of footwork you know he's dragging fighters into the later rounds he's getting them tired then he's sprinkling in takedowns he's winning on experience game planning and just guile you know what i mean just being in there and figuring it out and looking for the weaknesses assessing the situation and i think that's really [ __ ] clever and it's really you know it's it's definitely a talking point because martial laws that's what it should be about you know i mean you've got this younger guy sakai no injuries less miles on the clock hits like a [ __ ] truck and he's young dumb and full and calm then you got [ __ ] over him over there you know he's been around for a while he's the old veteran he's like oh [ __ ] let's just deal with this guy let him punch himself out of it let him calm himself down all right slow you roll okay you got that out of your system now all right [ __ ] now i'm gonna go to work you know what i'm saying it's really cool it's cool to see that's what i like about mixed martial arts um all right everything else from the night obviously co-main event oven saint pruett defeating hold on a minute yeah no alonzo menefield that's it that's right maybe me and minifield come on minifield alonzo the menace of minifield something like that i think there was something minimum in his nickname um man it's kind of a similar thing menifeel was looking good minifield is good game of the contender series big knockout power built like a [ __ ] beast have you seen the physique on him yeah i mean look also one of the other similarities there's this young hungry up-and-coming guy taking on the veteran who's been around for a long time been in title fights before i mean it's it's actually almost like a mirrored matchup at 205 pounds maybe [Laughter] this is a little comparison but um yeah listen uh menifield looked great he's got a bright future he really does he's going to be in the ufc for a long time uh osp is a big [ __ ] and he hits hard and it was a beautiful punch he knew that minifield was going to rush him and that's what he was doing every time he was waiting for the the opportunity he was rushing him backing him up against the fence and they're trying to go to work and on one occasion he just do a little check hawk a little pivot hook as minifield came in he just rotated on that front foot that's what you do so you hear when you fight says you rotate on the back foot well you rotate on the foot so the back foot spins around and you spin the hook so that does two things of course it throws a punch but also you rotate out the way so you're not there to get hit but then also you can throw the left hook beautiful little pivot check hook they call that in the biz you know so uh yeah nicely done yeah good for good for open st pro also was his last fight at heavyweight yes uh ben rothwell yeah yeah this was light heavyweight so he went back down uh this is a good one to talk about i want to talk about this um no nothing no okay i was trying to joke with that me michelle pierre michelle that was awesome but uh with the the outcome of the michelle pejera and i thought i was talking about my little bit going minnie mouse your bit was incredible dude you're like wow that's so great that's like comic genius right there no i thought it was great uh what was the the russian gentleman who we thought oh god don't ask me that harrington china is ismail nadiev or something what was his name harrington harrington sorry i was just pulling up my mic and stuff i have it here zaleem all right so during the weigh-ins this was [ __ ] it's it's so rarely happening of course how could we forget i mean come on what do you want what's wrong with you wow wow right okay so during the weigh-ins uh the ceremonial weigh-ins um they get in each other's face and azalea medivh [ __ ] decides to give a nice good old smackarooskie to pajera and dana white i mean afterwards he was like that was my fault i'm getting older usually i can get right there you know which is sort of like i don't even know like what the law is you're not allowed to smack somebody you're not like like whatever the law is in that city technically yeah look at that video you heard the ass growing up was talking [ __ ] you know what yeah i wasn't that much of a smack to be honest it wasn't but listen technically technically you know i mean listen harder let me put on my solicitor my lawyer hat again technically that's assault that is assaulted in the state of nevada is this is a common assault is me just calling rebecca a [ __ ] she's in the sideline she's watching the show you are a [ __ ] i have just assaulted you just commonly assaulted your wife me too listen i'll commonly insult you [ __ ] you louis you're a prank there you go son of a [ __ ] oh commonly insulted each other call the police i i'm pretty sure that's the definition of common assault but then so so hold on that's a becca's arguing rebecca says he's not i feel like he did definitely you can call somebody a [ __ ] that's freedom of speech i'm pretty sure you're not yeah just google common assault but anyway listen it's definitely coming on southeastern is is pulling all of this from experience in the legal troubles that he's had so i can't argue with any of this you can't put your hands on somebody i know that okay i know that much you cannot make the physical contact the physical contact is the defining barrier okay you touch boom not allowed no touchy touchy but he touched his face he slapped him in the face if you will and the good thing about that is that when they fought and i don't know how many fights of michelle perhaps you've seen was this your first are you familiar with his work it's the only one that i remember yeah no this guy he's he's wild he's wacky he's [ __ ] great to watch though but i'll give my opinions on that in just a second but every time he fights he comes out he does backflips galore when he's walking out he does break dancing before the fight even starts he does backflips before the fight even starts and then mid-fight he does backflips he he wastes a lot of energy but it's awesome to watch yeah but the fight is that was the payoff here you get these fans people remember you [ __ ] versus you're giving away what 10 15 of the energy that you have for that fight yeah but it's very very memorable though and i'm sure the ufc love his antics but um the good thing is though i mean karma so that's all ismail hold on ismail no [Laughter] kind of slapped him in the face and then during the fight he goes like this oh it's so great it's something here he kisses his hand he kisses his hand uh that's beautiful got to open he let him know oh when he smacked him yeah hey fair play first let's see it again boom you got a better smack yeah no that was good he kisses it fairly and then gives him a little slap i mean that is the perfect way to do it it really is i'll be honest when i was watching that fight last night i was like i was like [ __ ] i was rooting for salim right because i wanted zeleem to beat him because of all the show boating all the [ __ ] you know all that parading around but it whilst it's awesome it's amazing to watch it is but i wanted him to just fail and i shouldn't say that because he was bringing a lot of entertainment but i was just looking at it from my perspective if i was fighting this guy it's so [ __ ] annoying if the [ __ ] he was jumping off the fence he was doing backflips he's [ __ ] kissing his hand and slapping him in the face i'm like if some [ __ ] was punking me like that right we're already in a fight we're already in the fight he's already trying to knock me out i'm offended by that but then the guy is just utterly utterly mocking me then yeah yeah that would drive me crazy yeah but i i mean just the the poetic justice and just being able to return the favor in the fight when it counted when it mattered yeah oh you got me cool you got me when it meant [ __ ] nothing you gave me a cheap shot and then in the middle of the fight i called my shot i babe ruth pointed to the outfield and let you know it was coming and i still [ __ ] landed it beautiful delightful gotta love it he's absolutely gigantic for that weight class he's huge jesus yeah he's massive i don't know how he makes weight and then and then people always think he's gonna run out of steam but he doesn't you know he always does well obviously his last fight i think was a disqualification against the uh diego sanchez diego sanchez was out here today obviously you know he has that coach are you aware of what i'm talking about it's crazy coach yeah he kind of has like a coach that's a bit out there it's his guru and his life coach and all this type of thing and and yeah or whatever what is that look at that look what he did to get somebody else but he couldn't do that to me and i was just coming on to finish but here has got a bright future man he has but i'd like to see less of the antics and more more combinations he just goes for single set pieces i'd like to see him put more combinations together get a little more serious however he's always value for money well there's like a you remember rashad evans on the ultimate fighter matt hughes got very upset with him because he was constantly shucking and jiving and doing all this extra stuff that he didn't need to do yes showboating and he was like yeah dude this isn't [ __ ] like what are you doing it was matt he was just being a [ __ ] old racist white guy from the midwest he was like i don't like rhythm yeah it does exactly what it was but god bless matt hughes legend of the game but it's like i think uh i think what will happen is as he faces higher level competition that's just not going to work you know anthony i'm gonna knock you out i'm gonna try real hard anyway well anthony pettis used to do all that [ __ ] you know i'm gonna knock anthony pettis out real quick because just because that [ __ ] annoys me you know what next time i see anthony palace i'm going to kick him in his [ __ ] head anthony plettis has bought blocked callum bisping for some reason on instagram that's crazy why i have no idea calamari why don't you send him a dm i'm not sending i'm listen those boys want to talk they can hash it out amongst themselves nothing to do with me i'm staying out of their petty squabbles you know what callum's a troll online though he talks a lot of [ __ ] he doesn't i don't know what he is rebecca's laughing he does he's a little [ __ ] yeah remember he did a reddit ama did they you don't even remember this right before you fought for the title he was like my dad's fighting for the world title ask me anything he just got like a thousand questions yeah yeah i know he's a good kid he's a good kid uh all right so that was that that was the finite this weekend michelle waterson taking on uh angela hill we'll discuss that on thursday that was supposed to be glover to share with taking on thiago santos right it was my big comeback night my big comeback [ __ ] commentary i'm like oh that's a great fight don't get me wrong hill and watson great fight but another fight drops out due to the corona virus and the ufc they just keep rolling with the punches saturday night there was only seven fights on typically 12 sometimes 13 sometimes 14 fights in a night saturday night only seven fights on but hey as i say ufc the roll with the punches the show must go on it doesn't really matter i mean you know it's obviously the shorter fight cards i think honestly they're almost better in a weird way because it makes you if there's only seven fights you're like oh you know what i'm gonna watch all the fights instead of like yeah there's [ __ ] eight fights earlier in the night i could sort of miss those and catch up on the later on if anything exciting happens when it's a seven fight seven fight fight card you almost feel obligated to watch all of them um you know it's gonna happen you know it is what it is right now better safe than sorry you know people are how heartbreaking is this though right bisping you've trained for a fight you know you're a [ __ ] young up and coming contender you are making your way through the ranks in the ufc you're really getting your opportunities you're fighting on tv you know you're for even though this whole shit's happening you're still getting the opportunity to fight then your [ __ ] cornerman gets the coronavirus and they let's call jalen turner right now i'll hold the microphone here he was supposed to fight last night and then his opponent tested [ __ ] positive for the virus right how annoyed would you be well should we call him right now and find out hold on let's let's [ __ ] do this on the fly reporting jaylen kickboxer need to update that number it's jaylen turner hold on cancer still got my airplane mode on from last night i just have no friends i'm wondering why if i got no calls i'm like no no no you never have any calls i really don't nobody calls me if i randomly call you out the blue i expect you to pick up this is your jaylen turner by the way tremendous fire fights in the ufc great kickboxer help me out with me anderson silver camp and help me out with the luke rockhold yeah and as i say he was supposed to fight last night but then last minute his opponents his opponent's [ __ ] cornerman i think it was tested positive and to your point how annoyed the voicemail if they have like more than three numbers they can get it all nine zero nine is as far as it got that's an area called for san bernardino there's millions of people live there go ahead crack the code baby boy go for it i bet you if you look up jalen turner san bernardino california you're gonna find some [ __ ] now just don't recommend that to our hundreds and hundreds of thousands ever growing by the way thank you very much we are growing in stature uh yeah i would be pissed imagine you go through all that you go through the training camp right you go through the sacrifice you go through the arguments with your wonderful wife that is like you know catering for you making your meals packing your bag well that's what a good wife would do and she never did any of that quite bad uh but uh and then and then your cornerman test positive and you're still able to go you know and you're like no i feel fine i feel fine i want to fight but they can't do that because of course some people are asymptomatic maybe they haven't got time to test you again to make sure you're clean if it comes out on the day it's just that's a really frustrating scenario i would lose my mind dude the amount that that you sacrifice to get there and to have absolutely no control it really is like i mean i i feel bad i'm assuming that the ufc does something for some of these guys um when that when that happens there's their show their show money or something well think about it i think it was a couple of weeks ago last night's fight alonzo minimum in a minute man yeah last week alonzo menefield versus oh vincent prue that was the first supposed to happen a few weeks ago yeah but man men feel tested positive well caught him and tested positive so they just brought it forward a few weeks yeah so it still kind of sucks because you had to make way you had to do all that you had to go through the nervous tension of fight week for it not to go ahead that sucks but you got to remember you know this is everyone's kind of figuring it out and adjusting on the fly because these are unprecedented times i hate that word that gets used too much right now but these are unprecedented times if you're ever going to use that term i mean it really is and you know what to be honest with you it's like yeah you're right it is sort of an even playing field in that you don't know it's sort of random the tensions are there and the cream rises to the top you're supposed to be able to deal with the highest level of pressure you know that that's just the absolute truth you know when you're talking about the the championship level the best of the best you know yeah there's gonna be other factors and variables that come into place when you get to be a champion now you're dealing with having to do press and now having to do tv shows and movies and late night talk shows the the variables always change and you sort of always get getting thrown at the wall and i think the highest level guys can deal with anything that's thrown at them and yeah on that topic on the topic of coronavirus and people testing positive uh cody garbrandt as we know recently got a title fight dropping down to 125 to fight davis and figuerado and apparently he's tested positive now the good news is he's still got two months but to your point you still got to do the press you're still going to do all that stuff and he's still going to train for the fight and now he's got to deal with the [ __ ] corona virus as well now he's young he'll recover well you know but uh yeah i mean [ __ ] man it sucks for all those people out there that doubt the coronavirus is a real thing ufc fires are dropping like flies leaving you there political statement there you go boom go [ __ ] yourself go [ __ ] yourself go [ __ ] yourself i want my life back put your mask on suck my dick [ __ ] you who's an anti-massacre i don't understand that like i'm very skeptical about the numbers and all that other [ __ ] but i still like all right if a business says put a mask on you could buy a sandwich here i'm like yeah but the [ __ ] mascara i want to buy a sandwich what are we crazy you want a sandwich you want a pair of jeans you want whatever it is that business has to offer you just put the mask on but i mean i i i might get old school like i'm just like i respect the fact that your business is if they if a business says you have to hop on one foot before you order a sandwich if i want that [ __ ] sandwich i'm gonna hop on one foot or i can go somewhere else yeah [ __ ] hop on one foot right it's like if you go to a restaurant very nice place very nice place they require a dinner jacket right perhaps a pair of shoes well if that's what the rules that they set then that's what you got to do like at my house you know all women have to be naked that's just the way it is we're back right now not megan and ellie that's weird i take that back in back at my house all women have to be dressed [Laughter] especially okay girls no but listen yeah if you if you're gonna if there's a dress card there's a dress called just put the [ __ ] mask on okay a little [ __ ] because i want to get my life back to normal i want to get my life back to normal i want my gym to be back you know bothers me i hate when people take a picture of a person driving in a car by themselves with a mask and being like look at this [ __ ] [ __ ] with a mask on i'm like i do it all the time i do it all the time you take the picture of the person or you wear the mask yeah you know why and it's a very simple [ __ ] thing you're being an establishment these people they want you to wear a mask so being the respectful citizen that i am that's never had any trouble with the law that have no knowledge of the legal system whatsoever i wear a mask now come on mrs smith you would like me to wear a mask no problem just pull it out stick it on boom everyone's happy i can breathe why are you talking to anthony smith's wife i need any even if i had some kind of breathing problem it would not affect my breathing whatsoever scientifically proven but as i leave again i'm adhering to guidelines and safety protocols i have my mask on it's so unrestrictive that i don't even realize i still got the bad boy on i'm driving along and i said to rebecca but rebecca says michael why do you got your [ __ ] mask on your bed rules are there for a reason and i follow them lewis that's exactly you have to take it on put it off take it up and off so you forget it once in a while you're in the car you're driving you're like oh wait i have a mask on and then you realize there's some [ __ ] teenager taking a picture of you being like look at this [ __ ] boomer like no it's just i forgot they're like look at the sheep man you just relieve everything the media tells you go [ __ ] yourself if i pull over pull over a minute i want to have a word no no no that's kind of trouble in the past it really [ __ ] has i'm just looking at these notes that harrington compiled and number one i want to know about this francis enganu wins a charity fight with a local cameroonian comedian to benefit his charity and then i see a link there so i'm assuming there's a youtube link can we watch this and can we comment on it afterwards is that a possibility because i haven't seen comedian fights for instance i mean you'd have to [ __ ] pay me all right how much how much hold on before i get hammington on because i want to know how i'm going to get harrington to explain the story and bring some hilarity to the situation just by his mere presence but you francis zenganu not in a sanctioned environment not in a uh an area where there's a referee and there's rules and things like that deep dusty saw pit a couple of gypsies hanging around maybe some homeless people a lot of drug addicts and meth heads maybe some some prostitutes and ladies of the night they form a little circle and there's francis in ghana with his top off sweating he's just killed a few people already how much for you to be the next man in line to fight him so this is not like he's not gonna [ __ ] around he's not gonna be like oh no no no no no this is a fight a real fight a real fight my problem is i'm not hard up enough for money to risk the death an opportunity to brag at how fiscally successful you are okay right well the problem is he would probably literally kill me like a street fight no no like literally death a street fight with francis in ghana with somebody the skill set of the average human being which is me right it's possible death maybe 50 50 death like 50 50 shot that i'm dead guaranteed okay i hate to burst the bubble i hate the bursting but the bubble needs to be burst okay here i am bubbles burst well he could just not try to kill me he could just stop after he knocks me out but he's mad he's angry he's hungry starving he's never been so hungry in his life okay no it's no it's like saying how much money to die like no there's no money like i'm not gonna die i'd rather live and try to make money other ways yeah so in an mma fight like this comedian though that's a different story and then it just depends on how hard he would try well let's stop pontificating and guessing as to what may or may not have happened maybe may not have went down under these circumstances harrington without further ado show yourself and uh give us a little context on this story please because i have zero uh believe it or not mike there was no gypsies involved in this story uh it was uh offensive term harrington offensive fraternity they like travellers said all right um harrington all right all right uh so basically uh francine ganou has a charity uh it's in cameroon he's trying to expand the mixed martial arts there so essentially what the charity does it gets money in and they do free mma classes to find the next generation of cameroonian athletes uh the main event for one of their like fundraiser things was a comedian a famous african comedian i believe his name is hoga uh he was fighting francis and ganu uh i feel like francis took it a little bit easy on him but he did get the tko with can we see the video i just want to hear african comedy that sounds awesome why did the chicken cross the road oh don't be so offensive right now you go look at this that i said that comedian's got a [ __ ] belly on him like louis jay gomez he does he looks just like me actually he looks like he's just he's one emoji shade to the right i'll tell you what the grassroots mma shows look better than the grassroots mma shows in england [ __ ] camera got it going on look at that there's a comedian sitting down this is great footage there's francis there's your guy lewis that's your next opponent no friend i mean francis is he's not gonna you know oh bless him no that's real cool of francis taking it he's not taking it slightly seriously not even taking his life that's awesome there really is it just shows you know i uh just falls over come on i'd fight francis right now that's really that's what that guy did to him francis has no ground game okay that's [ __ ] i call it this is a fix it's a fixed fight what i want to know is could you beat the comedian lewis i'll destroy that comedian can i ask you a question as it relates yeah please go ahead so jason ellis has been uh you know i'm supposed to fight him sometime january february whatever it is by the way australian like your wife i'm sure she's rooting for him um so are you familiar come over here babe are you familiar with jason alice she went to osmania you came to ellis mania remember the guy in the main event fought the guy in the [ __ ] uh what did he have on rollerblade kingsbury kingsbury in a speedo high on magic mushrooms on mushrooms jesus lost he lost the cow everyone's like oh do jason ellis fights all these mma fighters like no he gets his ass kicked by these mma fighters i can get my ass kicked by mma fighters yeah but still he did step in there against kyle kingsbury who's a big [ __ ] dude and i'll be honest when i saw him in his [ __ ] bright silver spandex underpants right and his eyes popping out of his head and his [ __ ] pec muscles going boom boom boom and he's like hey what's up mike how you doing bro i've had 500 mushrooms to shut his eyes out of his mind i'm like there's no way i would step into a ring with that [ __ ] you wear the same weight class as him he's so much [ __ ] bigger than you it is crazy he's huge she's a monster kingsbury's no he was 185. no i swear on my son's life yeah look at that [ __ ] pulse you saw the diet that post you started diet i had him going good because he was gigantic and i thought to myself i have seen some people i mean i've looked into the eyes of francis then gone and thought to myself i'll still take you but when i saw when i saw the might and the good there's no way there's no way i was sending you a ring with him but your future opponent he just he's just he's just blase didn't give a [ __ ] and you're gonna fight this guy lewis so okay so jason ellis he wants he you know we're doing this fight we're training obviously you've been following along with fight journal shout out yo great i'm my sponsors and uh so we're supposed to do this fight the time january february and i'm thinking we're going to do this at ls mania and make it another silly fun fight he's been [ __ ] angling he had scott coker on a show he's been angling to make this a bellator fight an actual belt or fight be sanctioned have me go to the athletic commission make it a professional fight and i gotta be honest with you bisping i don't want to do this i feel like that when it's silly and fun and it's just like a freak show fight with a comedian and a radio guy it's one thing but when we're doing it on a professional card where there's other fighters and we're being compared to real fighters it has a whole a whole other level of pressure that i don't need i don't think you need that either that does not sound like a good idea in offense thank you rebecca yeah sorry so amateur keep it low-key keep your damage here what you mean keep it in lewis's wheelhouse if you want to get there eventually but you need to take it one step at a time no i don't want to get there i do not want to be a fighter i want to challenge myself what are you asking me what are you asking me because you made a statement there but you never asked me a question do you think that i should if he wants to do a belt or do you think i should pursue it in bellator or do you think that we should keep it low-key well if brian was a good producer he would push the i'd be embarrassed by that uh but he's not because we don't get sound drops anymore sorry i'm not allowed to complain because i was a dick on the last show but i'm just saying you have three shows uh zero complaints over here i'm just saying that would have been nice though or i agree with you mike would have been good i know brian don't hate me he's cursing me right now not in the studio i know i get it um go for it that's awesome that is awesome a lot of people yes i do i do you want to know why why i because um i mean you've got no designs right on being a professional mixed martial artist at all right you're gonna do this yeah and for the joking and all the mocking that i do i think it's great you know it is i i tell this to everybody all the time find something to train for find a purpose if you're trying to get ready for a marathon in a year say you know you've got something you've got a name you've got a target and you're training for that you're going to lose weight you're going to get mental focus you're gonna [ __ ] get healthier you're gonna get better and it's gonna be great for you there is no downside other than when ellis beats you into a living death he's beating us because you're gonna be in my corner so that means that ellis beat michael bispick so you better hope he doesn't beat me i'll have to check my diary louise but to answer your question if you can fight on bellator some people will go their entire life dreaming to fight on bellator i don't know who would because you'd only dream of fighting in the ufc but there's weirdos out there there is some kind of [ __ ] [ __ ] up dream you dreamed of bellator you loser i want a dream to be in the b league not the best it's like i don't i don't want to be a formula one driver formula three is what i want to be okay hey these are honest people could you imagine the person they know they know what they're capable of like no ufc never bellator potence so so yeah i think you should do it i think you should go for it and if bellator say yes then it gives us [ __ ] endless amounts of ammunition going forward but yeah listen it'd be great for you it'd be an experience let me ask you hold on before if i do this in bellator will you still corner me should you check your diary it's pouring a beer there whilst i think because you're a ufc employee would you be able to corner me oh yeah no absolutely yeah ufc aren't petty like that if i know somebody that i want a corner in a bellator if i absolutely they they never do that but um i'd have to have some hand in the training i want you to have some hand in the [ __ ] training i've been training for five weeks now if but you live in new york and i live in zlata the greater area this soccer you live in [ __ ] listen listen okay fine [ __ ] it [ __ ] it fly me up first class and put me up at the w i'll do it i'll come let's go thank you let's go my god i have my new home you can live in my basement studio well listen to this uh fight island is returning i am not returning so if i island they're all going back to fight island i think they got five fights i won't be going on this trip i just did it i was just there so this time i think dc is gonna take my role so i'm gonna have five six weeks i'm gonna have a lot of free time baby boys let's go let's go all right i'll come train you i'll come train you back i love it i need it listen i [ __ ] need it i'm unorthodox in my techniques louis you think he's a dick on a podcast wait till he's training you for a fight i'm gonna come and train it's my way or the highway baby none of this is entering back sadie on saturday yesterday i watched a karate kid with uh lucas for the first time because i want to watch cobra kai with him it's supposed to be amazing trying to watch the first episode of cobra car with james it is very dirty it's whatever but lucas is going to grow up fast so so we watched uh karate kid and he was [ __ ] glued to it right but once one theme that you will notice is that danielson did not answer back the wax are on the wax that off wipe defense clean defense wipe the car clean the car okay oh he's blocking [ __ ] he doesn't even know what he's doing in his mind he's wiping the sand his sanding defense he's wiping the fence that whacks it on it that whacks it off it okay but it's built in at no point did [ __ ] daniel larusso kick off so when i come up there and you're like why am i doing your laundry michael i might listen methods to my madness lewis yeah there's a uh old-school big j joke that really made me laugh he was like when i was a kid i wanted to learn how to do karate but i i had to learn how to do karate like the karate kid through a series of household chores he's like but my only chore was vacuuming the carpet so that's what i did i vacuumed the carpet all day long vacuumed that carpet back in the carpet it's like went to school the next day i got into a fight i did not kick a punch but i jerked off eight guys in a row i think i've heard jay say that one it's such a great joke yeah i think i've heard that uh all right what should we do we've been going for a little while here yeah we got a show here i mean we're i think we're good we save the questions for thursday maybe let's do a question let's do a question do a question come on baby boy got a few rebecca's on the podcast she's loving it she's getting a little settled in these days brian yeah she gets her fans this house has 22 000 instagram followers it's insane but she needs to sit up straight rebecca this thing out rebecca shameless babe just [ __ ] have a bit of respect brian all right so uh we got tim osmond here uh with a question from fight island oh it's uh tim here from canada although in the background you see fight island so um just listening to the podcast on a run here got inspired to ask a question so question for each of you mike uh obviously light heavyweight was too heavy middleweight was too light so if you could fine-tune the perfect weight class where you would rule for a generation with the belt uh what weight exactly would that be and lewis question for you if you could be the best comedian in the entire world or have world peace how shitty is this question these guys that is [ __ ] awesome because this is this is how i know those people that were bitching about me and my grumpiness yeah i mean heaven forbid i'm only on every drug under the sun and i have my [ __ ] knee hanging out of my leg uh but they they are astute and they have said that that question does suck many balls that first of all let me tell you something we have you know without giving away without completely pulling the curtain aside you know a few hundred thousand people that listen to the show overall watch it you know it's a pretty big show right huge six people have said they don't like that question and then you listen to those six people and we make decisions based off of some six [ __ ] who any question that i would ask they would say that [ __ ] question sucks no it turns out i did a bit of homework on those six people very very talented successful times actually yeah rebecca one billion dollars or world peace world peace lewis are you serious though yeah world no no no no world do you know what you can do with a billion dollars speaking to the microphone yeah i could do anything i wanted well i can't have i would have what about what about all right half a billion dollars in half of world peace that's not the question verified on twitter or instagram or world peace in the world of world peace uh world peace i mean the best meeting in the world so it's a there's no title that that you know officially would i wish for more talent that's crazy that's psychotic no not achievable not achievable that's great i'm very i'm i'm comfortable and confident being being what i am but it would be nice if i my kid got to grow up in a [ __ ] world where i wasn't worried that a mold off cocktail was going to be thrown at his head by the way did you see the antifa member that his they were they they lit up fireworks and the shoes got lit on fire i did see that and i also saw your tweet as well but yeah no serving right for being a [ __ ] stop running if you're running through the streets and you're throwing [ __ ] molotov cocktails and generally setting fire to things let's go home go home and and read a book uh my question first off thank you for the question sir mr gentleman from canada there i don't understand the whole fire island thing yes it looks like you're you have an island of sorts you have a beach behind you but that is definitely not fight island but i i like what you did there the shades how do we feel i mean you're running so i guess when you're running you need the anti-glare which is what they're designed to do but the first thing i did notice was the shades he's on a run he's a healthy guy he wants us to know that but could he have taken off the shades when he asked the question yeah probably you should have look i wear i wear shades when i'm in the gym i like it do you really you get to stare at chicks oh god that's the move i wear i will never wear sunglasses like but at the beach get the sarah chicks in bikinis and your girlfriend doesn't know yeah yeah she knows yeah they're not they know i wear glasses at the beach and i'm guessing that's why you wear shades like all the time all the time babe yeah and yet for me i mean i've talked about this before 195 pounds uh i think we talked about that on the last show of the show before 205 a little too big 185 was a [ __ ] to make some 195 that was the sweet spot well it would be the sweet spot had it existed i feel like we should do one more i feel that people are sending in questions and i feel it is our duty and our obligation louis to answer these questions i'm down let's go brian all right i got this one here from josh keys what's up baby boys i'm josh keys from raleigh north carolina i have two questions one for louis jay gomez who was your inspiration growing up what comedian inspired you to step out into the comedic world and michael i appreciate you man you're the goat you're a huge inspiration to me thank you for everything that you do just finished your book it was fantastic and my question is have you ever trained with anybody who was visually impaired or legally blind i recently lost about 60 of my site and i before that i boxed for two years and now i'm training jiu jitsu because my entire head getting in the face for free but again have you returned with any best visually impaired and do you have any advice for someone who is visually impaired and you know is trying to still compete in martial arts thank you guys appreciate it that's interesting lewis lewis uh first and foremost who was the comedian that inspired you to go on this legendary career that you're now experiencing uh i mean nobody can when i when i saw comedy as a kid i didn't think it was something that you could do i didn't understand like the path like what was even the first step of becoming a comedian so it wasn't like i watched a comedian as a kid it was like that's what i want to do my sister wanted to be a comedian when we were little kids and she's very like she's like painfully shy so she always had weirdly a lot of influence on me so she really she wanted to be a comic and she did this what was essentially a podcast when i was maybe seven or eight and she was nine or ten her and her friend doug would just record like interviews like they would it was an answering machine like you would record an answering machine but she would hold it next to the radio and pretend to be interviewing a rock star and they would do these little segments and bits and send them to each other it was called the jenny poo show and she did essentially what was like i would watch her and i'll be like oh this is the coolest thing ever and that had a lot of influence on sort of like you know the like early years of like kind of wanting to get into that stuff but if i had to pick a comedian that i saw as a kid that i really liked that really like you know to this day i think really holds up eddie murphy if you watch raw or delirious those are you know 90 minute specials he was i think 19 and 22 years old when he recorded them respectfully and you know just a master of storytelling just really you know dirty edgy you know stories about being underprivileged and not really having much and i connected so much with you know the story about mcdonald's and you know dropping the ice cream on the floor and you know the the just the abusive you know uncle and the father and the you know it was just great and my mom showed it to me when i was way too young to be watching that type of comedy and it's just to this day i could walk i could watch eddie murphy roar delirious to this day and i will laugh out loud um you know almost as hard as i did originally so eddie murphy's probably the one that sort of i think back to as a kid where i was like that's [ __ ] really cool you know when you were saying when you were telling that story there it reminded me of you rebecca that what you were saying about your sister that you should record things didn't you used to do a similar thing you and tina back in the day you would record like the [ __ ] top 40 or something to make your own just like everyone used to like you press your record and you record your favorite songs and you make your own little shows we used to do dance routines very different this is what i'm trying to get to i'm like is what your story reminded me of my wife used to do dance routines to take shows on a sunday night every young girl does dance routines with their best friends like michael jackson or kylie minogue or john farnham for uh the australian believers who's jump on him we're talking about him the other day oh okay okay uh you don't know who he is no but i'll tell you what lucy and what you were just saying there with eddie murphy uh i was watching richard pryor an old stand-up of his the other day and he's [ __ ] i mean you know of course legendary you know absolutely hilarious i just stumbled across one of his specials it was on netflix and i was bored you know how it is when you're scrolling through netflix you know it just gets [ __ ] overwhelming i thought right i just pressed that on and yeah absolutely hilarious what was the question for me uh so he was saying that he's 60 legally blind oh and yeah if you had ever trained with anyone that had any visual impairment um and if you had any advice for anybody with any sort of visual impairment with training and competing yeah no i remember now uh first off very very sorry to hear about that buddy you know you just recently lost 60 percent of your vision i'm sure that's very troubling and i hope it doesn't escalate and get any worse first and foremost secondly to answer your question have i ever trained with anybody not to my knowledge not to my knowledge uh and when you say competing martial arts competing in some martial arts with with the condition that you have is fine i mean of course i won the world championship essentially with one eye um but it is dangerous and there is a risk there you know and i'm paid the price in my final fight i have a victory's detachment in my good eye so that's kind of why i retired so i wouldn't necessarily um encourage a career in full-blown 100 full-contact sports but in martial arts there's many many different varieties i mean 60 vision 40 left i mean you could probably still get by certainly some of the graphics he said he didn't say that he just started doing jiu jitsu so yeah that's something maybe jiu jitsu definitely requires less uh sight it's more about feel and touching up close and personal uh so yeah just just avoid anything with full contact to be honest mate i mean unless you it is your dream you know to to to be a ufc world champion or not unless it's your dream to be a bellator world champion then uh that you can probably do it to be honest with you you've probably got you'll be [ __ ] minutes uh go for it baby boy quitters never win let's go available on amazon.com buy the [ __ ] book emotional about a fan he obviously feels connected to this guy he starts to freak out and has to start plug things he has to start showing things like buy the book buy the book buy the book okay i'm not gonna cry buy the book i'm not gonna uh i think that's it isn't it loser i think that's our show that's it that was a fun one right all right well ladies and gentlemen and look after yourselves in the meantime be well we'll be back with another show on thursday uh rebecca vegas anything to say sign off on follow me on instagram that rebecca disney oh my god she's shameless shamelessly cares about herself but if you got
