fill her up you're listening to the gas digital network conceive believe achieve shut the [ __ ] [Applause] up [Applause] this is believe you me on the gas digital network all right welcome to another episode of the believe you me podcast luis j gomez and myself michael bisping uh lewis let's just get right [ __ ] into it i'm never betting brian any more money ever again that's the fight if anybody listened to last last week's show then we made bets on the fights at the weekend and brian came in and we now own 250 which i will pay live on this show i'm gonna bend mow him the money because i'm a man of my word but brian i don't know what to say go [ __ ] yourself how about that are you son of a [ __ ] all in one in the last two cards with you brian loki knows more about mixed martial arts than anybody on this podcast he surprises me with his knowledge he always gets the right i've never seen him pick wrong well yeah i mean he may flukely have got something right do you know what i mean i will say right now categorically he does not have more information on mixed martial arts than i do simply trouble probably not oh you know what give me five ways to escape a triangle right now can you do that gun knife friend michael bisping punching the balls bite come to the eye yeah there you go solid solid you're you're better than me uh listen let's just get right really nobody ever talks about augustine in real life just grab a guy's [ __ ] and twist he's letting go of that guillotine no he's not he's not you don't think so no way no way because you're gonna [ __ ] squeeze and put him to sleep and if a guillotine is good when it's on the throat properly you can't think about grabbing somebody's balls it's all well and good to say that and think that but if the guillotines on properly you want to tap instantly yeah i always say that in like female like um self-defense classes it's like hit him in the balls like let me say something if you touch my balls you're gonna send me into a [ __ ] rage okay don't touch my balls if you [ __ ] go there then yeah all the gloves are off and it's gonna like whatever this weird made-up fantasy that we're now sexually abusing women or whatever it is that's going on in your head louise just for the record your head not mine i'm not abusing women out there a hypothetical scenario yes this woman i'm attacking in a parking lot somewhere fine okay so the woman you were raping okay i wanted her i wanted her purse nice purse she had a nice purse what kind of purse was it what caught your eye about the purse louise uh it was a uh the i can't this how like shitty of a person i am and how poor i am i can't even name a nice purse brand prada oh stop it well there you go yeah you just gotta name one of the big fashion houses guaranteed to do a purse yeah maybe you know well no not maybe gucci boom louis vuitton boom prada boom uh but are you kicked in the balls in a fight in like elementary school maybe i was like the fifth grade or fourth grade and this kid kicked me in the balls and it just set me into a rage i probably didn't fight any smarter but i just started going [ __ ] crazy it didn't like put me down yeah yeah no no and to our earlier point i think that that situation you're just going to really infuriate whoever whoever is attacking you listen go for it if you're fighting for your life you're going to do what you've got to do listen lady i'm just giving you a better route would be reason with the man no no eyes thumbs in the eyes fingers in the eyes simple as that leave the balls if the guy's trying to kill you right you can he can get through a little bit of ball grabbing okay some people might like that you know i don't know too far for a rapist like the balls come on dude nice you start sticking fingers in people's eyes and thumbs they got they got no choice they're going to let go of that guillotine the hypothetical guillotine that you're using to raise yeah but you can't really get how do you get his eyes from a guillotine position that's not going to happen very [ __ ] easy the arm comes over the top even with my lack of range of motion lewis you can still find the person's eyes and stick yeah but your eye i'm just going to pull it's going to pull out on my thumb it's not going to affect you i know but i've got two so i've got less chance you know uh but yeah there you go a bit of a tangent there i wanted to get into the uh israelite let's just start with this [ __ ] me number one we're just just an absolute master class just an absolute unbelievable performance before we get into it i'll say this i'll never underestimate israel sagne ever again i continue to do it time after time after time and the reason for it is simple the reason for is because up until that point it always looked like there was a conversation to be had about his opponent right so the end there's a silver fight there wasn't much action there right and it could have kind of gone either way there wasn't a lot there so you know in that fight i was like well anderson didn't really push the fight and then in the robert whittaker fight robert whittaker was lunging in from outside and i was like well robert didn't really show up he had a terrible game plan and then the yo romero fight as we all know it was kind of like luster or whatever but the point i'm trying to make is well number one they were kind of my reasons for underestimating him but secondly when these when this becomes a pattern when a pattern starts to form that all these people or he never showed up he could have done better his game plan was terrible he didn't attack it's for a reason on saturday night we saw paolo costa a guy that was undefeated a guy that had all the [ __ ] hype he hit incredibly hard very very powerful all this type of stuff absolutely [ __ ] all and as i was watching the fight and i'll let you speak in just a second let me finish my point and when i was watching the fight i was like costa's standing there in the middle of the ring he's holding the middle of the octagon that's great and he's mouthing and he's sticking his [ __ ] tongue out and he's [ __ ] about and he's doing all this stupid he he's gesturing you know and he's gesturing that i don't give a [ __ ] but all the time he didn't do anything and why was that was because he was scared he was scared of israel's speed scared of his accuracy everyone was like well why isn't costa blitzing normally he blitzes well yeah but it takes balls to blitz in there and every time he thought about doing it some israel was just too fast his kicks were too fast he jobs were too fast not to mention the fact that israel absolutely chopped up that [ __ ] lead leg my god it was it was it was a mess it was a mess that lead leg and then when the time was right he went in for the kill he took his time saw he had him wounded and then he went in for the kill and as i say it was a [ __ ] master class it was beautiful costa didn't do a goddamn thing and i don't see anybody beating israel out of sagna in the near future anytime soon yeah i mean israel he um yeah he showed he's the man you know and i i specifically picked israel second round uh tko i thought this was gonna be the coming out party phrase yes i did yes i did i was rooting for costa because if costa won i would not owe brian 250 right now um so at the end of the night we were all texting each other but no i actually picked israel and i you know i think i was sort of rooting for costa anyway you know izzy it's a similar thing to jon jones where the way he talks about himself he really believes his own hype that k it just it's sort of it can be annoying sometimes but the reality is you see a special athlete right there and i think that um you know you sort of mentioned those other performances and that's not taking anything away from whitaker gastelum anderson yoel or any of these guys um but i think this might have been the first time that israel was maybe questioning himself like maybe israel whatever it was i know that he really believes in himself but he seems to he seemed to have really want to win this fight and maybe it's because he was questioning how good costa was he was an undefeated compet competitor it was obviously the highest level guy that he had faced i mean in saying that and then you look at some of the other fights that you know he he definitely beat him more handily um but i think that this was a challenge that brought israel out of sanya to his real potential and i think this is the level of fighter that israel arasana is um and i think that we're going to see him probably just continue to grow and grow and grow but what other challenges are there really i want to hear your opinion on that but it was literally a perfect performance you can't hate on anything that israel had a sign you did in that fight even had so much energy at the end of it that he did a [ __ ] full-fledged dance performance at the end well he didn't just do a dance performance either he may have sexually assaulted paolo costa at the end i don't even saw him did you see that harrington maybe you'll pull up that video he [ __ ] raw dogged him when he was down and he was fake he [ __ ] he humped him he humped him two or three times he gave him the old pump and dumb i'm telling you he [ __ ] pumped and died he chewed it and did it he chewed it dude he did it he with it he [ __ ] i don't know what he did but he [ __ ] knocked him out and then [ __ ] him out right that performance was sponsored by bluetooth he did though he did he did it was hilarious and then and then what was it what was it one of his coaches i forget his name the guy with the white glass he's one of powell's coaches and so who does coach you probably know whoever yeah i forget his name i apologize he said oh yeah we're still coming for you and israel goes yeah i'm coming in your face so there was a lot of double-armed hundreds a lot of sexual innuendo out of the champ on saturday night and riley so listen uh i'll say it again nobody's beating him any time soon because he's gone through everybody romero's done costa's got [ __ ] destroyed made it look easy made it look simple i'll tell you what as well i was talking about uh the reach advantage for israel out of sign you had an 8 inch reach advantage which is good which is a lot it's very significant and you can use that and you can make it look easy but he didn't even really use the jab he used an even longer part of his body which is the legs the legs are longer than the arm so i could only imagine what kind of reach leg advantage he had and he stayed on the outside and just targeted that [ __ ] calf and that lower leg and that's such a new technique that we've seen in mixed martial arts now i've never experienced one they weren't really doing it in my day i've never experienced a a hard low calf cake but you see time and time again people eat those and they fall on the floor they don't want to be there look at sean o'malley that wasn't a pr he didn't choose to fall on the floor but he did uh they really really really do [ __ ] damage to people and yeah that was genius just use the legs picked him apart on the outside and was just too fast for him and that got costed guessing it also meant he couldn't explode on that front leg because uh his mobility was severely hampered um and then when the time was right went in for the kill saw that he was hurt i said well okay i've took my time i picked him apart i've toyed with him i've messed with him i [ __ ] with his confidence you know what i mean i've got his timing down he's now scared now it's time to go in for the kill and it was it was a flawless performance i think you see uh it reminds me of jon jones a lot of his performances where people are like oh well why didn't i remember uh rampage was one in particular it's like why didn't rampage just blitz him why didn't he go in he's got that power and you know i think you know your your body is protecting you if you go in for that kill you're going to get knocked out and you're going to get knocked out earlier so you know i it was a similar thing with costo where he seemed to be i don't know what he was waiting we just couldn't do anything he couldn't actually mount any offense um have you ever do you do you ever remember a time where you're it was almost like you wanted to do something but your body wouldn't allow you to do it uh not really i know what you're talking about i mean there's certainly times in fights when i've looked back and think [ __ ] i should have been attacking more but then you think back to the time and you think well of course the reason i wasn't attacking is because every time i did i [ __ ] nearly got my head taken off you know and let's look at costa as i said when he was in the center of the octagon and they weren't exchanging blows and they were posturing and they were talking a little bit of [ __ ] that's when he was safe to stick his tongue out and he was doing all this crap you know what i mean just showboating a little bit putting on a little bit of a show but when you start engaging and you're almost in striking range the same confidence wasn't there right and that's because he was just outmatched in general he was his opponent was faster his opponent had a longer reach his opponent had sharper striking better striking a more diverse striking range i mean koster threw a few kicks he didn't throw any punches because in that situation you have to risk you know you got to go into the firing zone you got to go into that range and if and if you can hit him then he can sure as hell hit you and koster didn't do anything because he let the fear get to him he let the fear of the fight the fear of the consequences affect how he was fighting and listen i get it that's not an insult izzy is fast israel has a tree he's a tremendous kickboxer he's got a diverse arsenal he can hit you with all different types of strikes so it's hard you know but that's what you sign up for and if you stand at range and let someone like izzy pick you apart that's what's going to happen at some point you've got to say [ __ ] it and go forward you can't fight that kind of fight i guess in israel lasagna now it's easy to sit back here in the comfort of our chairs and say that's what he did wrong when you're in there you know it's a very very different [ __ ] thing but monday today or if whenever it is whenever the time comes when costa looks at that back he's gonna have a hard time watching that he's gonna be embarrassed he's gonna be ashamed but that said i don't know if rematch goes any different no i don't think so either and to be honest with you i don't know how much there's the humping thank you [Laughter] you've got hands on the shoulders that really is the technique [ __ ] raw dog raw dog all day long diamond tails loving that one i mean look he really did if you look at it he's cleared out the division it's a weird thing right so as soon as he sort of comes into his own it actually sort of reminds me of anderson silva because you remember anderson still by the time he came to the ufc he beat rich franklin and then he beat i think travis luther who won the ultimate fighter very quickly anderson silva was sort of head and shoulders above the division and it was sort of like who could sort of catch up um israel is in a situation where he doesn't really have many top contenders that he hasn't already beaten at 185 pounds and then jon jones who he seemed to uh want to chase jon jones is uh has moved up to heavyweight so it's sort of an interesting situation for ed asanya because he's right now as good as it gets right like honestly i think he should definitely be considered pound for but if you look at what he's done undefeated we don't really have that and the way that he beat costa was another undefeated fighter i mean definitely has to be in talks for a pound for pound definitely top two three right if not one um but he's sort of stuck now without any massive challenges he is uh but there's still some work to do yeah before he moves up to chase potentially jones blahovic whoever it is whatever it is he's still got some work to do but i mean if you look at his ufc resume marvin vittori beating by split decision well marvin vissori right now is looking fantastic you know and i'd actually like to see that fight again because victoria has got better but silly beat victoria bree beat brad tavares who's a tough fight for anybody gary brunson finished him anderson i want to ask you a question about vitoria though so just in your opinion sort of looking back at that it's a you know a younger israelita sonya who is inexperienced hasn't been in the the big big show multiple times i mean you have to assume that israel has probably grown tremendously since then oh yeah yeah no of course of course but just let me if we go through here so you've got anderson silva then kelvin gaslin that was a close fight the galvin gaslin fire i think i mentioned it last week that's kind of why i thought costa would have issues but i didn't realize costa was uh i don't know what should we say all [ __ ] show all show a no-go all [ __ ] biceps and no [ __ ] balls you know what i mean whichever one you want to call it but that's kind of what happened yo romero robert whitaker paolo costa you can't [ __ ] doubt the guy right he went out there and there's been nearly everybody now it's called that jared cannonia that is the next logical guy uh if he beats who's he fine jacqueline hanson right robert whittaker correct he's fighting robert whittaker yes that's a tough fight but if he does jared cannon hey that'll be good and then who else has to go after that well there's darren chill yeah darren till i know that you want to make it of course and he's a massive star that's an awesome fight to make i'm just saying in reality when you look at it it does seem like he's got a couple more fights and he almost should go up to 205. now that jon jones is vacated it sort of sets up this like israel out of sonya whether he wants to be champ champ vacate whatever it is right moves up to 205 captures that title sort of he's following in the trajectory of jon jones right and at that point you sort of set up this massive story for these two guys to meet um obviously you're right i agree with with the um you know the uh uh let's go oh [ __ ] what am i saying who am i thinking of um the gasoline with the gasoline fight it was really really close but once again i think that this is a situation where and i hate to keep on making comparison to jon jones i don't i think in rematches you're going to see israel out of sanya and with even more confidence i think he's going to be able to come out and figure out that game plan in a rematch um and the fight wouldn't be as close if they fought again um let me jump in there because like a lot of people are making this jones comparison and talk about him fighting jones and john's as we know he's gone up to heavyweight and they're talking about now is he going up to 205 and when you see how dominant he is at 185 of course of course you think okay well maybe he could go up to 205 and take that belt there the only thing against that the only thing that i would say is against edison you're doing that is that he isn't the biggest middleweight even though he towers above people because he's so tall at 6'4 he's very very light and very skinny you know what i mean that's not i'm not saying that in a detrimental sense what i'm saying it it it's great it's actually a positive you're fast you're lean you're quick and you've got excellent uh rotation on your shoulders you're longer you've got a longer frame it actually helps generate power but he's not the heaviest right and if he goes up to light heavy i think i think he walks around at like 195 or something like that it doesn't get much heavier than 195. if what i'm left to believe is true i'm that might be wrong if so who who [ __ ] cares but that's what i'm led to believe if he goes up to 205 now look at yeah behold h and reyes at the weekend which we'll get into shortly but they're gonna be 235 something like that 240 and jones is probably 245 250 if he's going to go up to heavyweight it's probably going to be even heavier so the point i'm making is listen let him let it let him continue a lie middleweight for a while yeah because it's still a little bit too soon if i was out of sony what you do is you stay busy stay active you take out a few more guys right and you just keep number one stacking the chips making [ __ ] money making pay-per-view bank every single [ __ ] time beating these [ __ ] [ __ ] beating every other contender at middleweight until frankly there is nobody left and i'm telling you i don't think any of them are going to beat him i really think none of them will be him uh he's just got the speed advantage and the technical advantage over everybody so stick around have another two years of fights that'll be three times a year six fights 12 to 15 million dollars right you're [ __ ] setting records you're breaking records everyone's sucking your dick you're making tons of money probably then he's doing movies he's [ __ ] his sky is his star powers through the roof and then you say right okay i've done everything at middleweight now now i'll move up now face john jones but but stack the chips first don't rush it take your time yeah i mean i just i'm what i'm i'm almost thinking of stacking chips you know being no offense to jared cannon here no offense to anybody else in the middleweight division how many more massive big marquee fights are left at middleweight right now it's a weird thing that he like it's sort of you know gsp i guess there's the the idea that he could always make that comeback and he was the last guy to uh to hold the 185 pound title likely not um but i think the bigger fights are probably in the bigger weight division he actually said which might him just be talking [ __ ] which fighters are known to do sometimes that he would skip 205 all together and move up to heavyweight do you see that happening yeah well no because he's talking about jon jones you know what i mean yeah [ __ ] it i mean do whatever you want you know what i mean but right now he's a middleweight champ and i say he's still got a few more fights there which i think he has as well he just wants to fight jon jones and i thought he was crazy against firing jon jones but after saturday night i don't think he's that crazy anymore if i'm honest after saturday night i don't think he's that crazy at last before i was like what the [ __ ] shut the [ __ ] up don't be silly but let's be honest jones isn't getting any younger and as you get older you get slower the power still stays there but you do get a little bit slower and a lot of arasana's game is down to speed and being able to beat people to the punch they're having a smart game plan keeping it ranged so they can't get close enough to hit you picking them apart from the outside that's sort of john's strength right so john is usually more athletic speedy one right so it's really interesting the only thing that i'll say the x factor there is i feel like jon jones is wrestling he could probably ragdoll him if he chose to i don't know i have no idea i mean it's it's such a crazy wacky thing it's so funny how differently i feel today about adasanja than i even felt three days ago whereas i i thought he was a very special athlete but when you look at some of those closer fights i was like okay slay your [ __ ] role you're not beating jon jones jon jones is an absolute monster um but that was such a um it was such a coming out party in my opinion for arizona to to beat another undefeated fighter who i mean casa looked [ __ ] untouchable going into that fight right kos looked head and shoulders above everybody else in the division and then uh and assange looked head and shoulders above costa this is a different arasanya than we saw against any of the other opponents that he's fought in the past and the reason being it cost a lot like [ __ ] on saturday night right and i've said that before about arasana's opponents but it's arasana that's making them look like [ __ ] it's them not having the balls like yo romero didn't do much but again because he's gonna you gotta go into that firing line robert whitaker had a shitty game plan but that's because uh arizona's control of range and speed and timing was forcing robert whitaker to have to do that having to lunge in from a distance because he didn't feel confident barcinia saturday night coaster wasn't blitzing forward because he knew he was outmatched so the first time you see that happen and i guess i'm in my defense the first time you see that happen you think oh his opponent was a bit shitty and the second time he said well he was a bit shitty but as i said at the start of the show when it starts becoming a trend in a pattern and then these world-class opponents aren't showing up it's because it's not because of them it's because of what arasana is doing in there you know what i mean sir anyway as i say i won't underestimate him ever again we'll see next time he fights you never know what we're going to do all right guys let's just take a second to talk about our very new sponsor which is ipvanish ipvanish is an incredibly important tool that will help you let's get back into it listen saturday night well we had some money on the line as we talked about louis i'm gonna pay brian right now i saw people saying oh is bisping gonna pay i [ __ ] pay my debts bro i uh brian what's your venmo right now lewis you're gonna do the same as well we're gonna pay him right now we're gonna venmo you 250 each right now live on our brian what's your venmo bud it's b m a c k a y b mckay dash b mca dash yeah capital b lowercase m capital b capital m oh okay so if anyone [ __ ] you [ __ ] you so much brian [ __ ] you right in your ass i literally hope you're here i know [ __ ] you right in the ass oh my god 250. rebecca's gonna do it too brian please via venmo which is it's an absolute robbery it's an absolute robber we'll touch base in a little bit and see if rebecca's done that and we'll let you know but you know speaking of robberies louis speaking of robberies um saturday night in malibu california there's the home and the residents of a one joe montana is it john montana hammington i don't know much about american football but joel montana yeah he's a great legendary football player right yeah the consensus number two uh greatest quarterback of all time joe montana yeah well i would have said number one you know what i mean my long all the info i have on john montana number two number one there's an argument on both sides i guess but still uh saturday night lewis uh some crazed maniac breaks into his house and tries to steal his granddaughter uh we're both fathers i thought you might be interested in this story what uh yeah i need more information here just sweetie tried to steal his granddaughter literally tried to steal but harrison you have the story there in front of you uh come on uh read it out to both of us please yeah so law enforcement confirmed this on sunday this woman named uh sodzai dalzell entered the house uh snatched up one of the grandchildren out of a playpen uh joe and his wife jennifer walked into the room uh they tried to de-escalate the situation get her to put it down uh instead turned into a tussle uh in the while they were like you know wrestling back and forth uh montana's wife jennifer was able to grab the kid and uh yeah then police were called whoa woman who did this you see you're in a we i i what a weird position right so they have your baby all you want to do is make sure that your kid's not hurt right so you don't want to like start swinging you don't want to start going crazy that's it's one of my biggest fears in the world is having to be faced with some sort of situation where somebody's trying to hurt me or my child in front of my kid and what to do in that moment right that fight that flight even forget somebody coming to your house we can get into more that specific story but somebody i don't even know if you've ever had this situation bisping has anybody ever tried to attack you or your your children in front of you i mean it'll be the worst [ __ ] day of their life but have you ever been have you ever felt actually in danger or having one of your kids in danger in front of you and been presented with that no i don't believe so i don't believe so i i've i've had i've been in danger myself but now not my children and certainly not somebody in the house i mean you got to remember because i've had an intruder we talked about it that guy tried to bury me down uh i remember when i told you it was in my book uh so yeah it's weird when somebody's in your house it just it changes the energy straight away it's like whoa what are you doing in here the only way people get in here is if you knock on the door and i answer it and say oh come in because i know you but when you are confronted with the situation of somebody there a stranger in your house that in itself is [ __ ] terrifying and then when they've got your granddaughter in their [ __ ] hands i mean jesus christ it's [ __ ] interesting never like even if you're trying to protect the child at the moment you make the mistake and that person does something crazy and you're like well what if i would have reacted differently what if i would have done this it is [ __ ] so horrifying such a horrifying thing and i just don't know what i would do because on one hand you're like all right you [ __ ] fight and you make sure that they don't put your their hands on your kid but on the other hand you take your kid and just you know it is a really really scary thing did you see it it sort of relates because we're talking about protecting your kids did you see the video of the guy it was a car dealership in the bronx new york and the guy was in there with his three kids a sh a gunman just comes and starts shooting into the car dealership to get shoot somebody else this guy jumped on top of his kids to protect and shield them all through his little kids toddlers he ended up taking a bullet in the leg which is crazy but protected the kids which is i mean jesus christ dude but like just what a great dad to obviously jump on his kids immediately most dads would do that but what's uh i guess he lost his job because he couldn't go to work and they made him a go fund me i think he had like 200 thousand dollars in his gofundme now which is pretty [ __ ] pretty good anything that ever happened to him yeah seriously he hated that job right he gets a bullet in the leg doesn't hurt that much let's be honest he's you know he'll be okay they'll pull it out they'll have a few stitches and the narrative is now that he's a [ __ ] hero and he can tell that story until the day he dies kids look at my car look at that see that bullet hole i took a [ __ ] bullet for you now go on coffee please pronto snack sandwich whatever it is you're forever in debt you know i was thinking uh when you said before about the the scenario of joel montana faced you know with this weird woman obviously has some kind of mental problems or maybe trying to steal the baby for uh uh human trafficking purposes who knows maybe a bit of blood now because you know joel montana i'm assuming he has some money in the bank why would you try and steal his [ __ ] child but still as you said you won so you want them to let go of the baby mike on my end guys he froze up and that was off yeah it got wonky for a second is that i'm sorry i might just speak again because i don't want to waste anything good no i'm good one two three one two three i think he seems fine now okay sorry just continue yeah yeah yeah no no uh yeah no cause think about it if you're joel montana someone's in your house they've got your baby all right first thing you want to do is get that baby off them and you don't want them to hurt the baby right and you know it's only a woman but she could hurt that [ __ ] baby if she wanted to so you're trying to be nice yeah one versus baby woman win wins almost every time no because the thing is think about it you're in that situation you walk into the bedroom right there's a [ __ ] woman there she's got the baby okay you're thinking i want the baby out of your hands but you got to be nice because you can hurt the baby and it just makes me think of that scene in the movie goodfellas you know in goodfellas where his wife tell me you've seen goodfellas a lot right you must have done i have but that's one of the movies where if i say no you're gonna be like what what what well you should have seen goodfellas more than once if you're a man please tell me any scene in that movie that i go to right now you can say yes i know the scene i watch it every morning you don't watch it every morning [ __ ] day in my life so much good fellas well what scene am i gonna talk about then obviously the scene where the guy has the thing and he's not gonna get out of his hands and the baby and the gun to the head no listen no no think about in good fellas right uh his wife his long-suffering wife whatever she's called i forget her name she pulls out the [ __ ] gun on uh what's it called the main character the actor what's his name oh wow rayleigh older oh leota uh yeah so she's got the gun to really out his head remember remember the scene right and he wakes up and he's like oh oh baby i love you put the gun down put the gun down and she's like oh she's got the gun pointed at his head and he's like come on baby i love you and then she puts the gun down and he just goes straight away and he throws her across the [ __ ] room and he pulls the [ __ ] guys like you [ __ ] [ __ ] i ought to [ __ ] kill you yeah because that's what it would be like with this psychopath you'd be like oh listen everything's fine sweet oh come on you're obviously very troubled it's okay it's okay let's have a sandwich let me see the baby let me see let's let's just take the baby and then we'll have a conversation you get the baby i'm sorry equal laws equal opportunity 2020 comes on board if you're in my house and you're stealing my baby male female animal vegetable okay you're getting [ __ ] up simple as that yeah i don't give a [ __ ] i mean it's the way i in a weird way i wish a woman would try to steal my baby it's my fantasies it is my fantasy when i was growing up as a kid i was like i would just love one day as i'm walking down through the streets of cleveland the cobbled streets late at night like i'd love to catch a rapist just raping somebody just so i could beat them up uh get my balance tendencies out there and be a hero at the same time no getting arrested for that one baby boy oh the woman apparently was able to escape after tussling over the baby mike do you think this woman's getting out of the bisping half mansion montana has really let himself go jesus christ joe montana this is a [ __ ] homeless lady with uh some sort of psychological disorder you let her get away never in a million years in fact i'd still have her here in my room right now i wouldn't talk to you i would yeah i literally i'd move her into a room where i would torture her for the rest of her [ __ ] life that's it you touch baby yeah no you say that you say that but as soon as a woman starts crying for me that's it it's all off i can be as mad as possible you know i can be raging screaming you know like what the [ __ ] are you doing but then as soon as someone even a male as well so you just start showing weakness and they start crying i think oh god all right sorry i tried to kill you okay okay let's talk come on bring it in give me a hug how are we doing now what's going on with you huh why don't you try to kill my baby what are you doing here how did we get it yet you're silly saucy come on step into my how did you get here where you're trying to steal my baby where in your life did you turn left when you should have turned right what was the catalogue of events that led you to this moment my god because at one time she was just a little baby in her mom's arms think about that she was a baby at one time and her mom was protecting her from being stolen and then life just ended up where she's in joe montana's bedroom trying to steal his grandbaby what a crazy trajectory of that woman's life yeah the poor girl poor girl she's obviously very troubled you know maybe she has some mental illness going on whatever she probably has she probably has let's be honest uh but you know what that got me talking and we're not gonna get into human trafficking but that got me talking a little bit last night because i was watching on the news with rebecca i was like it's crazy and she was like well why would he do that and well why would she do that well who knows any reasons you know human trafficking unfortunately is a massive problem and then we just got talking about that for a second and it's crazy millions of children get kidnapped and abused and just they disappear off their streets millions every year across the world impossible i'm telling you bud millions of children i mean millions of millions listen maybe not millions all right let's say hundreds of thousands definitely how many how did you kill that [ __ ] i'll bet you it's less than a thousand numbers of human trafficking trafficking baby a thousand babies worldwide over under prestige worldwide one thousand eight hundred thousand almost a million baby boy one hundred thousand children human trafficked a few hundred i would guess that it would be a it's not really it's almost a non-issue i figured human trafficking was it was happening so and often that i was like you know what we got we got bigger fish to fry well do you not see those videos on facebook now and again you see them dying and there's like a it's always a third world country and they're sitting there and they're having you know a bit of lunch or something outside i saw one the other day and then some geezer jumps off the back of a moped jumps over the little face it just grabs the [ __ ] child and says you're coming with me and then the one i saw the other day all the staff from another restaurant is real yes all the time dude never take your eyes off your kids certainly in third world countries certainly if you've got blonde hair blue eyes and you look like you're part of the [ __ ] master race they are [ __ ] expensive that's premium [ __ ] tackle that came that's the filet mignon so he's got blunder check blue eyes check yeah no listen wait a minute can i see one of these videos really quick i know we're going off on a tangent right now but please pull up a video of a ch i've never seen one of these ever i don't have facebook maybe that's why um hold on let me just find one real fast and i'll say send it to brian in the meantime but i don't i mean jesus [ __ ] christ now that i live in the suburbs it's weird because like i want to like loosen the reins a little bit on my kid but it's like now you're telling me these things like even him playing in the backyard i get like nervous oh yeah no for sure absolutely rebecca's the same way are we still rolling after we're just gonna stop down while i look for this hold on no no we're still rolling i have a video from australia if you guys want to see that sure yeah put it on it better be a good one if it's a [ __ ] one brain then you'll have to edit this but out all right so look this wasn't human trafficking though i saw this one this is just a crazy person picking up this [ __ ] child so it's probably similar to uh yeah but regardless of look at this guy first of all never mind that the [ __ ] dog is [ __ ] the dog should be doing something yeah i remember seeing this i saw this video a few days ago and people are like dude imagine not being able to protect your child some dude comes over and is trying to take your kid and you just start [ __ ] yeah yeah but you can't beat everybody in the world lewis sometimes you've met your match that's why he's got a [ __ ] relatively large dog that's useless this is a [ __ ] puzzle immediately what the [ __ ] is going on so is that the hold on who's the rapist or the abductor the guy in the dressing gown right yeah pull it up pull it up again do it again because i kind of missed the let's take a look so rewind it to the very beginning brian actually because i want to see who walks up exactly sorry the guy that's okay his jacket gets taken off in the scuffle that's what it is oh yeah because he had the yellow one i mean in that moment you know you're you're right dude sometimes you meet your match but still it still doesn't matter in that case this guy who's you know holding on to his child for dear life and just you know crying on the ground rolling i have no idea what the [ __ ] he's doing he should really consider carrying a weapon taking some martial arts classes doing something to make sure that nobody can do that because i'm telling you right now somebody comes up to me and tries to take my child in front of me like that i don't give a [ __ ] what are you got a chain in your hand with that thought i guarantee i could take james off you and you couldn't do a thing i guarantee you that i would [ __ ] try i guarantee you wouldn't be being only pleased my baby especially with a dog first thing first get rid of that dog listen my dog had a [ __ ] balloon put in his ass on friday cost him six thousand dollars right and the asca page are still continuing i'm very annoyed okay the ascopent of alfie [ __ ] bisping but let me tell you uh if if a guy tried to come and steal lucas he would [ __ ] at least give him a bite get rid of that dog get a rottweiler for for damn sure right someone tried to steal your child once and yeah start doing some martial arts classes but yeah look at uh lewis so that got me talking you know we're all [ __ ] i mean listen the coronavirus is a huge thing but 800 000 children a year are being stolen and potentially sold as sexless is that just in the u.s did i read that no that's good worldwide that's what they just told me yesterday so to be clear it's 800 000 are reported missing that could be like an amber alert like uh you know dad takes the kid and and something like that so like not uh not like necessarily traffic i also complain is that uso worldwide us is 800 all right well let's do okay stop trying to [ __ ] tickle lewis's balls i said millions i said millions it was also almost a million in the us do worldwide numbers [ __ ] well there's a lot eight hundred thousand kids that are being human trafficking eight hundred thousand kids that are being reported missing i've reported my child missing twice already so that's two of them down have you really reported your child's mission twice no but don't lie do that [ __ ] all the time because their kid runs away for an afternoon whatever that doesn't count as being human trafficked it was way lower than that harrington get me the worldwide numbers no you're right you're right it's actually higher than that it's 1.2 million worldwide worldwide trafficked every year um so millions technically correct yeah just allegedly allegedly nothing but anyway but there you go uh uh fyi don't come and try and steal the baby from my house but uh i wanna do a bit though where i we have a fake baby and i'm gonna see if you could take it from me i reckon i could you could probably take that big baby from me yeah no but yeah you'd have to get knocked out though wouldn't you be good because like you couldn't you could pry it from the i don't know the guy is i have a [ __ ] chain in my hand i'm whipping that guy in the [ __ ] face with the chain i'm putting my child out there because you've got a child in your hand you've got a hand you've got a child here now you could use one arm and you got the swing whoa you're gonna whip yourself and the baby with the chain well that would suck but i would also blame it on the guy if the baby got hit i'd like this guy it doesn't matter do you know what i'm he's taking my technique is not going to be to hold the baby and roll around on the floor like i'm on fire my baby is going my technique is going to be take the child put it behind me next to the dog then beat the guy's [ __ ] ass away from my child tackle him to the ground get on top of him do whatever i gotta do make sure that that guy does not go near my [ __ ] child i don't care what they're i don't understand how like the terrible strategy terrible strategy listen first of all first of all you you you need the time to hold me off and you got to say hold on sir one second if we're going to do this no yeah i'm attacking you're trying to defend i mean the world's first fighter typically isn't trying to steal a baby but i'm just going to you know you're like yeah hurt sir hold on if we're going to do this just let me put the baby down would you so first of all you need that bit of time i'm not going to give you that time then you're going to find the chain you're not going to find the chain unless you can't wait every time you're taking the baby out in public you have a big long massive chain he's holding the dog on a chain the dog chain ain't going to do [ __ ] the leash it's not enough chain baby boy that one of those whippy chains that could [ __ ] you up doggy mentally you got scar tissue all over your face you'll be bleeding at least this guy's mentally uh challenged he's having a bad day he's not on his meds a little a little whip it's not gonna stop him he wants that baby he wants that baby all right let's put it another way amanda nunez who just gave birth congratulations to amanda nunes and uh sorry watson what's the partners uh nina is it nina harrington uh yeah nina is playing nunez yeah yeah so congratulations to them two beautiful amazing news uh one of the most dominant fighters in the world amanda newton and uh i don't know if they're married but still anyway amanda nunes she's there holding the baby i guarantee you gonna get that baby off amanda nunez even if she had a dog lead which was a chain wait what you would not be able to get that baby off amanda nunez what is her her are your would you just give birth let's just bring her into it say congratulations maybe like now like it's covered in placenta and slime oh it slips right over here a few days ago one would have thought that they've cleaned her up a little bit but still they're very protective of the baby lewis breaks in he says it's easy to get the child how would you get the child off amanda nunez well first i'd have to cut the umbilical cord i don't think there's an umbilical cord with empty oh no well not one of them one of i don't know what them [ __ ] yeah two guys no umbilical cords with two guys okay all right anyway anyway there you go joe montana so yeah i'll get better security or whatever it is just be better how'd you let this girl go you're a [ __ ] hall of famer just get your [ __ ] together joe montana get some [ __ ] get a ring eighty dollars bring bring baby thing anytime someone walks to the house bomb there you go on the 59th day send it back that's all we're saying crossroad.com slash believe check it out you won't be disappointed all right uh co-main event co-main event yamblahovic versus dominic reyes this was probably more surprising right i don't know about more so it's so obvious isn't it when you watch a fight and then you see it go down the way it went down you're like oh yeah of course of course but prior to it happening uh you don't see going down like that obviously last time we saw reyes was against jon jones and reyes looked outstanding reyes looked really good i thought reyes beat jones and i know you do too so based upon that performance against the greatest of all time i thought reyes was going to be too fast uh and too aggressive but no no uh blehovich was too strong too powerful i mean did you see that kick that he that the mark reyes had i think he's on his right side oh that was nasty yeah really really nasty um just though you see those things happen in real time you're like oh my god out of nowhere it blew up and then he kept on attacking it um yeah i mean just incredible performance um we were sort of mocking blahuwitz for visiting the site of the suicide but maybe that's it maybe we need a little more magic and dark arts in mixed martial arts macabre macabre gonna be a little more macabre yeah no listen at the end of the day uh ray so behold it just hits harder he hits harder you could see that that was the difference reyes was trying to operate on the outside he was trying to you know use his speed and his length just to try and pick him apart without getting on the inside and into the into the pocket into the boxing range but he was having no success on that and reyes was sorry blahovich was doing a really good job every combination he was finishing with the left kick whether it was to the head whether it was to the body obviously the left kick on the the right side of reyes you know you could see the mark there uh it was very very nasty but uh you know so then round one was a decent round for belhovich he was 10-9 so that said to reyes i've got to do something different in this round what have i got to do different well unfortunately this isn't working this plan of trying to stick and move keep him on the outside isn't working and behold she's winning that battle so i respect reyes for what he did he was like okay well we're gonna go plan b plan b as i try and walk him down i get in the punching range in the boxing range in the pocket as it's called and that's what he did and he got [ __ ] clipped and he got clipped and and that was it before you knew it the fight was over it was a nice four-punch combination uh from the hovie just nice short sharp little shots kind of wobbled him and then beholves went in and got the finish you know and it's good for the division ultimately because it's he never lost to jon jones and no offense to nominee grace but i think it it it's like a nice reset you know it's it's really good he's he has the case to go he actually said it in the pre-fight hype um they were talking about dominic reyes versus jon jones and and blah blitz was like he was like he never flopped me he never [ __ ] me and it was like good point good and now once again that story line of like if he comes in and is a dominant champion jon jones whether he has good or bad luck at uh heavyweight he could always come back and have that fight later on so really really good for the division yeah well yeah i don't know about coming back he even tweeted saturday night he said hey what do you think everybody should i just uh knit back down to like heavyweight real quick and take my bell back so like being a little bit disrespectful to reyes but but again if i'm jones i'm doing the exact same thing because he ruled that division for so [ __ ] long and he could do that because let's be honest he could just immediately go back to light heavyweight just to annoy everybody just to annoy blahove he's visa oh look at you look at you you thought you were going on this long reign didn't you buddy well guess what i'm going to come back take that bell then i'm going to retire again just to devalue it even more do you know what i mean which would be a real big move now of course did you think the ufc would allow him to do that i don't know what i was just going to say and we're also assuming that jones would beat the hobbits which is disrespectful to the hovage he's disrespectful but still if you just have fun with that narrative it would be a total dick move by jones just to keep [ __ ] up the division but then going back up to uh heavyweight to fight and garner or whoever the [ __ ] it is but yeah listen uh uh blejovich the second never polish champion behind uh joanna youngjae check and he got a a hero's welcome at the airport i don't know if you saw that harrington but yeah when he turned up at the polish airport tons of paparazzi and press and everything all that i'm telling you these champions these days though it's really really nice to see them getting honored by these the media uh and the press and stuff in their home countries you know because you know in the us the sport's big but in other countries not quite as much but still you've got shevchenko she got meeted by the president of wherever she's from i forget now uh you got khabib obviously he's sitting with putin you got [ __ ] uh jazzino rosenstrike when he's down there and [ __ ] where's he from where's he from where's he from south america somewhere south america somewhere but i'm telling you i've seen him selling the celebration parties for him when he gets home down there or insane now you've got [ __ ] uh blehovic getting celebrated it's a beautiful thing it's great well it's kind of interesting because you were i mean i i i'm without it that you're the first english champion but you sort of with the ufc you were very early with the international sort of like expansion you know i'm saying england was one of the first places that the ufc really wanted to get out there and they recognized the opportunity for mixed martial arts there and you've watched it over the course of the past decade or so just become a real global sport and i've said this before people sort of scoff at the idea of mixed martial arts becoming the largest sport in the world but i think it's one of the reasons why soccer or football european football is so massive it's because you get entire countries behind the team and i think the wreck the ufc and mixed martial arts has recognized that you sort of get this nationalistic pride where it's like holy [ __ ] dude everybody in poland it's it's their favorite fighter you know what i'm saying cain velasquez he was the you know the everybody's favorite mexican fighter and i think that um you know the that's sort of where the ufc is landing whereas the u.s is one thing but the world stage mixed martial arts has grown in such a massive way in the past few years so um yeah good for blockowitz uh he's he once again it's another time where you see a guy he gets a title shot and he comes into his own it's the the absolute best version so it is interesting to see and i think we are sort of looking past him just to act like it's a foregone conclusion that jon jones would beat him no no no absolutely and it is disrespectful to yam behold which i was just looking up at the the uh the the rankings to see who we should fight face next because he's fought a lot of the guys in the top ten for uh what's his face say yamba hovish the champion should i say have a bit of respect on his name my apologies champ um yeah so obviously reyes he beat dominic reyes he beat corey anderson he beat jacare and he beat luke rockhold he's on a four or five win streak uh you know i i think some of his challenges obviously we've got uh thiago santos fighting glover to share it i think whoever wins that one might get a shot uh and then we've got new guys in there as well you've got that alexander wreckage obviously came on the show recently jerry prochaska there's some really good new talent at light heavyweights so where i certainly got some uh some some what's it called some some challenges down the line and i can't wait to see him fire but you know fair play man technically that is that the third polish champ because i'm polish as well no but i never got any celebration from paul what's your favorite polish joke from as a kid oh god so many so many my favorite was uh how did how do you think uh polish submarine oh oh no you're being serious i thought you were trying to test me out no we didn't do the jokes they did the polish jokes like that in england we were always there were always irish jokes what do you call it what you know an irishman or what he what do you call an irishman that does this it was always the irish was the irish that they were stupid as that was the idea that was the uh what was implied correct yeah it was polish or blonde you know how do you keep how do you keep a blonde at home you build a circular driveway and what was the polish ones give me some polish ones yeah polish one was uh how do you sink a polish submarine how do you think polish submarine you leave the screen door open yeah yeah yeah no exactly see same thing same thing but irish like in all the hours because my mum was irish as well so i always liked those jokes so no offense irish i love it i grew up on just like uh like did you hear about the irish newspaper shop what was it it blew away yeah i know i love it i love it did you hear about the irish shoplifter found dead on the test goals that's a big supermarket because he's a shoplifter you know the list goes on and on you here's a cute one this one's not really that offensive but how do you uh how many mice does it take to screw in a light bulb how many bolts are we how many mice does it take to screw in a light bulb go ahead two but nobody's really sure how they got in there all right okay start skipping the barrel now starting to scrape the battery they're going downhill fast lewis when i was my sons and my son seven i had a book of just horrible jokes like i could just read and nobody gave a [ __ ] no you're the comedian i used to tell jokes bad jokes like that one after the other you should annoy people like we go and have a few beers and then back at someone's house and i feel like i was tell the joke time with mark i tell all these stupid [ __ ] jokes back to back to back but it was a street joke street jokes are the best yeah yeah yeah yeah no it's funny it's funny uh what else should we get into harrington what else is going on in the world is today a hammer fisting day or was that thursday no today's a question day um yeah let me do plugs uh all right so well done to both the new champions at the weekend we got to talk about this story this is a big one i was just looking at the notes there whilst you were doing the plugs and yeah this is a big one on the weekend conor mcgregor dana white trouble in paradise sharing screenshots you you didn't see this louis i didn't see this at all when did this happen oh saturday night at the post fight press conference harrington do a little background for me yeah so what happened so so having uh sorry connor released private messages between dana and himself right which is a weird move by the way no it is it is because dana came on the post fight press conference and said he broke man code there said you don't do that you don't release private messages like that he he broke man called and he he said he actually said it's one of the dirtiest things you can do is am i right there harrington i'll let you give the quotes yeah give us some background here uh yeah so if you remember at the beginning of the year conor mcgregor was talking about a season uh he wanted to have like a bunch of fights right in a row he wanted to line a couple opponents up uh his idea was that he wanted to fight justin gaichi in a major market in may and then he wanted diego sanchez in august in dublin uh dana white you know gave him flat out nose across the board here uh diego sanchez diego that's what dana said at the post five press company said when you're the number two or and i'm quoting dane here he said when you're the number two or three guy in the world and you're calling out diego sanchez he's 39 years old and at the end of his career and lost a lot of fights recently and then he never went in he never said he he did lose on saturday yeah so anyway so look there we go okay so these are okay so this is between dana and connor me and diego and double in august rematch end of year boom me and diego and dublin as a cracker bro we should lose our promoter's license we would we should lose our promoters fighter license if we make that fight i thought he fought one of his better fights to be honest considering the opponent's style and attributes what date is the brazil card so who released that connor released that connor released that yeah and and i'm not sure why i'm not sure why just makes him look bad because listen conor's a [ __ ] tremendous fire i don't know why he's calling out diego sanchez grace of respect to diego sanchez true warrior of the game been around forever put the ufc on the map by winning the ultimate fighter one but that was 15 years ago what time of the night did that text message come through that's what i want to know yeah well whatever connor doing during that texting no but let's be honest he doubled down on it again recently didn't he call him out diego sanchez and then and then justin gagey came out of the woodwork did you see that harrington have you got that up there to look at yeah just engage he came out and he was tweeting and saying what the [ __ ] are you talking about i was calling you out at the start of the year i was calling your name and you said nothing then ellie abdel aziz jumped it so i don't know it's like a little soap opera it's kind of shitty for connor to do because number one you're having a private conversation dana sorta takes a shot at uh diego in that and and you know it's not even it's not a horribly it's not off base it's just if you're diego sanchez you don't want to read that dana white thinks that you should lose your fight license by booking you against one of the top fighters in the world that's it no no no no but that's not what he said though because what he was saying as well because he did say this he said unfortunately this is what he hates about being a promoter and hates being in his position he was talking about donald trump and diego sanchez at the weekend saying that you know he might have to have a chat with him about retiring so he's talking about telling diego sanchez he wants to retire but then the biggest superstar of the sport wants to call him out for his last fight and it's like those two narratives don't really go together you know what i mean i'm trying to be respectful to both of them right but i see what dana's saying and and he's not trying to be disrespectful to diego he's like he said that connor's being disrespectful to diego and it's not and look dana's having an honest conversation going like yeah dude this guy's at the end of his career you just you know had one of the biggest wins of your career you're trying to forge a comeback and be the number one fighter in the world it doesn't make sense it absolutely doesn't make sense and no offense to diego said diego's awesome okay i'm a fan of diego sanchez he's super entertaining he's a legend of the sport um more power to diego it sucked to watch him lose on saturday night but the reality is um it's just an honest conversation dana's having an honest moment thinking that this is never going to be screen grabbed put out to the world for everyone to see and then he has to go and have this [ __ ] conversation with one of his fighters that he probably has a tremendous amount of respect for so you're putting dana in a very very weird position um the quote that he said he said everyone here knows even the ladies this is some man code stuff it's just something you don't do it's one of the dirtiest things you could do because we're just talking about diego sanchez and diego is in there is in there in a private conversation i was having with connor so yeah i completely get it it's just a bizarre way to be i see that happen a lot where people will put out screen grabs and it's what honestly it's what women do it's a very womanly like move um so it doesn't really make any sense it doesn't make me happy because it seems like we're probably a step back from seeing conor coming back now um and after that amazing performance against cowboy you have to [ __ ] want to see conor mcgregor fight right now yeah the one thought that i had that occurred to me is uh it was this obviously conor said he wanted a season and he wanted to fight multiple times and from what i hear from sources close to him is that he was frustrated right because he wanted to fight more but but i think this is where and if i'm off on this i apologize but i don't think i am but conor kind of shot himself in the foot here because he came out and said i retire i retire right that takes all the obligation off the ufc to find them a fire the ufc are obligated contractually to offer their fighters three fights per year dana spoke about this at length it's not a secret it's in the contract he has to offer them three fights a year and if he doesn't do that then those fighters can leave they can walk they can say well you never upheld your side of the contract you didn't offer me those three fights so therefore i am fully uh allowed to go and do whatever i want right now had i don't know maybe the ufc would have offered the conor three fights but they had had he not said i retired right okay we're only in september but by the end of the year if he hadn't had those three fights conor could maybe um you know go fight where wherever he wanted to go entertain other office go to the open market go and do boxing and things like that but i think that's why dana pointed out well you saw him sweet didn't you he's retired by saying he's retired that freezes his contract and it freezes his obligations it doesn't continue to go it just freezes everything and if conor mcconnell comes back and says right i'm fighting again then the clicks that this clock starts running again you've got one year to offer him to three fights but he kind of shot himself in the foot by saying i'm retired are you following what i'm saying here i am i am because he's trying to box uh manny pacquiao well he did say that i guess pacquiao said that this is a real thing he's supposed to box um manny pacquiao in the middle east at one point um so that could very well be happening i'm assuming that his contract probably allows him to go and take these massive boxing fights as well um they probably made that work out with the mayweather fight and you know who knows maybe that's you know maybe that's go ahead we'll clarify that for one second so that's where mcgregor popped back up dana said that there was an issue with uh mcgregor releasing the text messages obviously but when they asked dan about the pacquiao fight he said he had heard nothing about it mcgregor said you're lying uh because my legal team had to reach out to you to go over contracts for the pacquiao thing so yeah like that's where the disconnect is coming in with that so there is definitely going to be some legal hurdles and the ufc was involved with the negotiation of negotiations but the actual producing of the mayweather fight and the promoting of that fight right so you know i'm assuming that if he's going to fight pacquiao they're going to probably want a piece of that as well yeah yeah i mean who knows i have no idea what's in those contracts but uh it's it's all a little bit of he said he said she said and things like that then it was just pissed off about showing the messages which i get i i understand that uh yeah but you know what dana's a pretty forgiving person as well i'm sure you know what i mean it kind of makes the company a lot of [ __ ] money but it is but still but still you know for wearing a dana white is my [ __ ] shirt he could forgive regression yeah but it will change the dynamic a little bit you know what i'm saying because yeah all right you can have misunderstandings in business all the time you can have a change of opinion you can have you know your that's your opinion that's your opinion you can't agree in the middle that's fair enough his business doesn't have to be personal but when you've got a relationship and you share text messages and things like that and private messages and whatever and whatever said between youtube it's just said between you two but then the guy goes and posts it all i don't know that i'm just speaking for me personally i'm not speaking for dana white but for me personally i'll be like okay cool we'll still have a business relationship but i'm not going to trust you with uh you know you know what's the word i'm looking for but but you're not inside transformation text messages whatever i'm just going to be very very guarded when i share and text you going forward and i don't know what it'll probably be is like dana white keeps his head his hand on his head so he he you know and keeps them down at arm's length simple as that i have people like that in my life where they were you have a level of trust with them and then they do something to [ __ ] it up and you go like i'm still friends with them i'm so cool with them i can let you know water under the bridge buy guns be bygones but i always keep my hand on your head so if you decide to strike you can't [ __ ] hit me you're going to be out here doing this [ __ ] while i have my hand on your head no not if israel out of sonya's uh none of you got the reach of him it's circle of trust [ __ ] okay that's the circle of trust you're messaging back and forth you know what i mean you don't break the circle of trust rule number two i've said it for years i've got them up on the wall in front of me the rules of the podcast never break the circle of truth is number two that's the biggest this probably should be number one what is number one best being by the way he he has enough information on me to destroy me and that's probably probably saying probably same and if you do listen i'll take you kid i'm taking your baby i'm taking your [ __ ] microphone i'll take but that's the thing you in order to be a real friend you have to have enough information on each other to destroy each other and you never breach that circle of trust no matter how bad it gets you go hey you know what we're right here we're [ __ ] men and connor broke that circle of dress yeah yeah yeah but that they'll get over it you know i mean once they all start making millions of dollars together all of a sudden that little whatever will not matter as much um all right what should we do obviously the the rest of the main card was good kia cara france got beat at brandon roy val excellent performance there hakeem do we do he got it done won by a decision and then what would you do the fight kepler yeah she won by decision as well as passionate as [ __ ] dude do we do screaming during the fight what about that oh actually i wanted to ask you about that what about the referee telling him to stop cursing that kind of annoys me what happened though i didn't see that okay so do a do during the last sequence of the fight he was like [ __ ] firebag he's like screaming at his opponent um just really passionate like you know wants to [ __ ] you know the guy's like kind of like backing up but still like laughing but um you know just you see these moments sometimes right the guy's like you know adrenaline he's just like [ __ ] fight me he starts screaming and i guess he said [ __ ] fight that's what he said and the referee and harrington chime in here with exactly what he said but he said something like watch the language and i was like when who [ __ ] cares i want to hear them talk a little bit of [ __ ] i understand they're supposed to be professional but they're in these moments it's a really crazy intimate thing they're adults fighting in a cage to what could be the death at the very least until one guy is bloody to a pulp i don't really care if they use some bad language i really don't care no i don't care whatsoever and there is a lot of crazy rules in there if you sit there and go through all the rules there is a lot of will so i'm not sure maybe swearing is one of them but we've seen fighters talk to each other and swear many many [ __ ] times so i think that referee there was i don't know maybe been overstepped the mark a little bit so i'm trying to insert yourself to the conversation okay he's trying to fight the guy's backing up he's talking a bit of [ __ ] i don't like it i don't like it for the referee for doing that but harrington uh what we gonna say there because i saw you i could see you flirting around with your finger in the air ready to uh insert some kind of knowledge with that finger i did i i texted it to louis i i felt like a dummy i was going to say you know they were on espn there was no crowd you could hear what they were saying so maybe that was in the refs head but this was on the pay-per-view card so it literally made no sense it was just because he didn't like hearing grown men curse but go [ __ ] yourself go [ __ ] yourself i bet you that's against the rules i don't care what are you gonna do [ __ ] off i said i'm trying to knock out a world-class fight here and he's running away and i'm running out of time he's a grappler and he's backing off and he doesn't want to engage in the fight he's playing games he's playing possum he's doing whatever he's retreating and diminishing my chances of winning the fight i'm trying to engage him i'm trying to get him to come at me i'm trying to get him pissed off i'm trying to make him fight me and you referee keep your [ __ ] nose out referee's job is to be making him engage he should be saying hey buddy get with it [ __ ] let's go that's the referee's job is to make sure they're both fighting still uh yeah really stupid i i don't know um well because because sorry one of the rules is uh timidity that is a foul if you are overly timid now i'm not saying it was it chukagov chuki gov that was his i think yeah i'm not saying he was being overly timid but he was backing up a bit towards the end i think he thought maybe he'd done enough in the last two rounds and didn't want to get knocked out right and he was playing it safe and anyway he made a mistake there because he lost a decision but still one of the rules one of the definite rules is timidity you can be penalized have a point taken and ultimately disqualified for a refusal to engage in the fight yeah i think uh yeah i mean maybe i it might be against the rule i i wouldn't be surprised actually if it was against the rules to curse at your opponent um or definitely against the rules to curse at the referee some sort of like insubordination sort of thing like not letting the referee do his job um i'll take that point old [ __ ] day long take a point with me take a point off me oh my big bad words you're going to take a point of me you [ __ ] i'll see the bar after dick you lose that fight you're going to take that referee's baby oh i'm gonna [ __ ] take his [ __ ] head simple as that if you if you say if a referee took a point off me and caused me to lose for christ a big fat for swearing in the [ __ ] octagon oh my god oh my god i'll tell you i tell you you better get i'm not trying to sound tough but like there's so much goes into those fights in the training camp and the sacrifice and everything and a ref is going to step in to potentially that you know your career hangs in the balance with every win and loss and if a referee took a point off because i used a bit of foul language in a [ __ ] burn knuckle cage fight pretty not very knuckle but you know what i mean come on it's a real fighting situation i use a bit of bad language but a choice and also it was entertaining what a moment super [ __ ] entertaining the fans at home went yeah dude [ __ ] yeah harrington so i looked it up the list of fouls as ruled by the association of boxing commissions which uh set up the the new unified rules of mixed martial arts has it in there that swearing or offensive language in the cage is a foul although no one has ever received a point deduction or disqualification for it who is the referee that was correcting the language though could you [ __ ] buy the book goody two-shoes [ __ ] yeah no who was that we need to know harrington we need to know the record we're gonna shame him we're gonna go down a tirade of shame for that guy listen the referee's job is the most hardest job in the world no it's [ __ ] not i saw i saw uh chelsea talking about this recently you know i forget which referee it was and they're all like oh but man referee it's the hardest job in the world and chell was like no it's not the guy's fighting their job is way harder the guys fighting that are engaging in the art of war right there and then there is their job's harder than the referee that's just gonna watch and go yeah yeah you're playing by the rules that's good i'll take it a step further watch the language i think i think probably some of the the crew that put together the octagon has a harder job a physically more intense job than the referee commentators the commentators is a tough job my job is harder than the referee do you understand the amount of research that has to go in referee just has to rock up is that i know the unified rules you know i've got them there boom i'm gonna written down got the unified rules i'm going to watch the fight and see if anybody infringes upon them yeah it's literally his whole job is fight fight over that's it trainer referee no no not referee coach trainer yeah tough job promoter you got to find these guys you got to pay them you got to fly them from all over the world why does the referee get the [ __ ] all the props and hardest job in the world listen love all referees mark got a very good friend of mine and i've got a good relationship with all referees just saying it's not the hardest job in the world it reminds me of the bill bird joke where he's like he's like uh he's like don't say that you've told me 20 times you you you referenced this joke the bill bear all that about the women having the hardest job in the world have i referenced it no we've had this chat multiple times no why i don't remember ever watching this joke once in my life but you know it so i guess i have three times it's okay it's okay kevin sataki is the referee in question kevin you're a great referee i'm not denying your ability in there and honestly even though it's one of the easiest jobs in the entire ufc production we respect you and we respect what you do however stop being a [ __ ] goody two-shoes [ __ ] let them curse a little bit kevin kevin kevin come on yeah i'd be embarrassed as well brendan thank you yeah kevin come on let them play they're grown men they are grown men and they're fighting their hearts out all right should we do a few questions yeah let's get a couple questions in you know what's up bwaynepot gmail.com um this week i'm coming out to california soon my friend oh yeah when are you coming actually you know it's funny so so harrington might be taking a fight at ellis mania fight island against another producer my island oh my god trademark copyright okay yes yes he's gonna get sued fyi but continue um so harrington is supposed to fight rude jude's producer um what's the guy's name brian you knew he was uh john john matthews yes so he's supposed to harrington might be boxing this guy um so we're going to go out to arizona and do this but maybe either on the back end or right before it will come out to cali for a few days maybe maybe not i do i'm just saying i don't know if i want you going out to [ __ ] arizona [ __ ] with the ragtag [ __ ] brigade [ __ ] going all over the place into gyms doing stand-up but that's fine bring all your [ __ ] corona from multiple states into my house i did that exact thing last time i know she was doing that i know you did and we talked about it at the time now see earlier conversation because i said hold it a minute i didn't know you go to arizona first now i again i'm sorry i have to put the well-being of my family before your inheritance little [ __ ] jaunt to arizona okay yeah come there's a great hotel down the street i'll get you a good deal first of all i've always said i want to hang out i want to stay in hotel every time i come well go i do but you insist he's like no are you you have to stay in my house every single time and then i feel like an [ __ ] but we've talked about this before it's like i i don't wanna i hate having to [ __ ] if i go in the fridge i get like hey can i get something shut the [ __ ] up who cares who gives a [ __ ] but you can't travel to new york to arizona and god knows where god knows what you and harrington get up to in your spare time you know who's coming on harrington what do you want i mean i could use a couple of pointers before i get into my first ever boxing match i mean what if we came to you and then you gave me some little one-two advice before we went down to arizona none of it's gonna go in no no one session it's pointless it's pointless that's not how it works you can't just go out somewhere one time and one session and make a difference it's hours and hours it's years it's months it's it's sweat equity okay the equity is built up by sweat that is poured over years of months and years and decades of hard work ten thousand dollars decades decades see we need decades to make a difference decades yes i started at eight years old i'm 41 years old decades brother you know you can't just go oh uh yeah i took your chin boom oh yeah i've got it now i know how to do it decades 10 000 hours lewis devil's advocate i think that you have enough knowledge that if you did three sessions with harrington it would make a an actual difference in a fight for him no no i don't think so no because he wouldn't take it on board like pointing it out in a drilling scenario and then recreating or being calm enough to recreate that or listen to that or think about the advice under fire in a real life combat situation no no it won't matter it won't matter it takes time sorry time go [ __ ] yourself no no no please so who are you fighting this is uh well i mean i know rude rude dude's awesome he's great awesome pull up actually if you just pull up uh john matthews ellis manny you'll see the guy who he's fighting it's pretty hilarious i want to see the guy that he's fighting it's [ __ ] great listen i'll be honest rude jude when i heard him i thought he was like a big black guy and then i went on his show and he was like a [ __ ] history teacher he was a white dude for one that threw me off secondly he was like super skinny like you know he just doesn't look like a fighter and i even said on the show i said i i was expecting a black guy you look like a [ __ ] history teacher i thought i was a little i was expecting a little thuggish type of guy this is the guy that harrington's fighting i don't know harris and i reckon he takes yet there's what is he holding in his hand the bottle of wine he was holding everybody just he had a hell of a [ __ ] on him he's smaller than harrington he is older than harrington speed advantage experience advantage what else has he got bisping's looking at this from a fighter's perspective that's all he's hearing speed experience in our maturity what else has got what other advantages better career probably makes more money as a home that's at home exactly oh yeah all right all right uh let's do some questions yeah questions uh question it up boys all right so we got a question here oh by the way by the way by the way i've got a question for lewis oh uh brian if you check your venmo account buddy you'll see i i do believe i got a receipt from a rebecca bisping oh and how much was that for us 250 booker rooney's who else on this podcast or is your 250 bucks i think i don't know might be lewis does a lewis always pay his debts i don't have a wife to scream hey beck will you please pay my debts that's not my fault lewis that is not my phone you can't hold that against me uh brian uh whilst lewis does that whilst he pays his debts send me a request and then i'll just i just hit just want to see lewis's face when he's done he's furious because he just makes me feel a little bit better about mine you know what i mean i'm like [ __ ] that don't be having some little uh chat offer i said it's fine don't worry about yours louise i'm appreciative of the job [ __ ] that i paid my 250 i want to see you okay brian's [ __ ] telling me that's okay i would i would try to convince me to bet some other [ __ ] though yeah you would you would but that's not what we're doing i'm done i'm not [ __ ] i'm not doing this podcast to give money away i'd like to earn a little bit if possible all right let's see questions questions exactly we got a question here from lisa gomez whoa lisa gomez is also the name of my cousin i have a cousin lisa gomez this is not her thank god mr bisping hi lisa gomez for michigan i have a question for each of you um mr bisping i was wondering if you could please explain to me the weight cut process and the reasons behind it i'm just wondering why a fighter would put themselves through all that pain and agony and not just fight in a weight class closer to their their weight and mr gomez i was wondering have you ever done your stand up comedy in michigan or do you have any plans on shows in michigan maybe after all this covet stuff is over hey thanks keep up the good work well lisa jay gomez is coming in from michigan you know thank you listen you've watched the show you can call me michael and louis but i appreciate the formality that's very nice um so wake up i'll try and keep this brief but i will answer your question but some people won't have heard this of course we hear about the extreme weight cuts okay the weight cuts basically mean let's just use me as an example if i was trying to fight at 185 typically i want to get to the hotel for the fight a few days before the fight at 200 pounds then i would dehydrate myself down to 185 okay i'd be 185 pounds for literally a couple of hours then i would rehydrate i would eat food and i go into the cage maybe 205 pounds why is that well it gives you an advantage and how do we do that what is the process okay well a week before the fight we cut out all carbohydrates every gram of carbohydrate that you ingest your body temporarily absorbs four grams of water so you're always walking around heavier because of water so you cut out the carbohydrates therefore your body starts clinging onto the water and you will lose weight you've also got to cut out sodium because sodium also makes your body hang on to water so every day a week before you have no carbs and you have no salt and it's a little bit challenging to find those types of foods but still that's what you got to do and every day when you get on the scale you'll be a pound lighter you'll be two pound lighter and then maybe by the time on the thursday night you might have 10 pounds left to go you know maybe more maybe less in the past i would do that in a salt bath cover myself with sweet sweat fill a bath as hot as possible fill that with four or five liters of salt jump in the bath with the sweet sweat on for 20 minutes i would warm the room as hot as possible i would get out the bath only 20 minutes but it sounds hard so it sounds easy but 20 minutes boiling hot with the sweet sweat and the salt sucking all the moisture out of here so osmosis for those technical scientific mods and then when you get out the bath you jump into your bed then you get in your bed and your team covers you with tons and tons of towels because of the layers the layers generate the heat you lie there for 20 minutes with your sweatsuit on as well then when that's done you get out you get back in the bath 20 minutes then you get out and you go back in the bed 20 minutes and generally from there i've almost done it and then i'll go to bed and then in the morning who knows maybe we'll sauna maybe we'll run maybe we'll do a salt bath and you just get those last couple of pounds out and there you go you're almost dead and you're walking into the room and you're [ __ ] like somebody hold me and you're like what was the most um the most like drained you felt not not right after the cut but during the actual fight where you're like [ __ ] dude like this affected me do you ever remember the cut affecting you during the fight because that's something that you hear a lot but you you don't really ever hear like you know what that wake up really [ __ ] me during this fight yeah i don't know i remember the uh uh the george saint-pierre five madison square garden that one was bad the wake up was a [ __ ] real issue and then i started i weighed in but then you got to see all the commission afterwards and then they're doing the [ __ ] medicals and they're doing the eye test and the eye test was always a stressful situation for a certificate could we have just done the eye test before the weight killer i'd have made weight no problem i'd have been sweating bullets all [ __ ] day and yeah and i was like i was dying i was seeing the doctors and doing all the medicals and then i've told this story before and then i got up to the room and i was like drinking pedialyte of water and always use whatever you can to get some electrolytes and [ __ ] in your system and then i get to the room and i'm like all right guys because all your team they've stayed up all night helping you make weight as well so they want to go eat they want to go and say [ __ ] hell mike was a cranky bastard wasn't in this morning well they all want to go talk [ __ ] about you so you go all right guys i'm going to take a nap so they all leave the room i'm about to take a nap and i lie down and i get knock on the door and i'm thinking oh brady's forgot something or perilous left his phone or something i opened up what is it guys [ __ ] usada you saw her there do you want to test me and it takes about after the wedding sucks oh my god i was a [ __ ] [ __ ] to that guy i talked so much [ __ ] and i said well i'm having a nap and he says well i'll i'll go then he says i said well we'll [ __ ] go i said i'm tired i need to sleep he said well that's fine but it'll go down as a failed test i said well it's not a failed test is it i said i'm not saying you can't test me i'm just saying i want to take a nap right now and he goes well i'll wait i said if you want to wait then go ahead and [ __ ] wait i'm going to sleep and it was like a mini suite so i went out of the lounge room and into my bedroom and i just let down and i fell asleep and i woke up about two hours later i went oh is there a you saw the guy still in my room and i go out and there he is god bless him and i was like all right first of all i want to apologize because i'm an [ __ ] because the poor guy's been waiting there the whole [ __ ] time so anyway that's how we could wait uh i was doing like usana job is like a [ __ ] you know it's like the the a repo man for mma fighters it's like dude you are just [ __ ] dealing with guys threatening to kick your ass all the time just your because you're dealing with like because the their whole job is to show up randomly like you'll be on vacation and you'll be like in [ __ ] asia with your family and they're like knock knock knock like hello i'm gonna test you now like yeah the [ __ ] best pings are very confused like there's a guy at the door i think he's had to do a maternity test or a dna test or something uh but no uh yeah no it's a real pain in the ass because they want to make sure by the way that you're at home so what does that mean they come real early before you go out right and all these wholesome people they might get on the road at 7 00 am not me but some people do so they turn up at 5 00 a.m and i remember sometimes knock at the door and i'm like whoa what the [ __ ] is going on and rebecca's like my michael mike it's you sada and i'm my [ __ ] bloodborne and i'm like the [ __ ] are you serious 5 a.m you [ __ ] on a sunday morning you know what i mean and and it's it's like so sometimes it's like an older guy and i'm like a little stressed out and then i have a coffin on my and then i'm spending the next hour apologizing and kissing how long does the actual test take it can take a while yeah to go through the whole process and do all the paperwork you could there's a lot of paperwork to fill in and then you've got to do a piss test and sometimes you can't go and they won't leave until you can pee and then you gotta do a blood test that takes a while as well but uh yeah sometimes a couple of hours sometimes it can take a couple of hours which which sucks but louis michigan comedy yeah i've done a bunch kalamazoo detroit um my son's mother's family is from grand rapids so i've done dr grins up in the bob mall uh yeah detroit i probably do every year when things are normal so yeah come out and support um yeah off some other stuff i'll be in philly soon be [ __ ] back in royersford with big j next week very good very good brian what else we got bud all right we got a question here from mr brian clement hey guys question from michael bisping uh if you had to re-fight one of the guys you lost to during your mixed martial arts career who would it be uh and then also kelvin gosselin if you had to fight one of the people that this being uh lost to should it be then why that's a pretty funny question who's the shittest opponent that beat mike that uh beat michael that you think you could beat uh who are your losses let's let's let's relive them [Music] come on jesus christ what are you trying to do to me over here remove all my confidence in any kind of legacy i have left who would i want to i mean really that's the answer who is the shittiest guy and that's a [ __ ] i feel bad putting it that way but it's not even so much who do i think because it's getting my ass speed but who would beat my ass in the way that is most acceptable and the way that i would want to get my ass beaten the most well let's go through my losses okay wikipedia let's bring it so the last one was obviously kelvin gastelum calvin i'm just saying no no offense that's not going to go well for you lewis no none of them are going well for me but i'm saying who george saint pierre the greatest of all time there's another one again and by the way i'll answer that question my question was who would i like to fight of the older people that beat me kelvin gaslam of course he didn't beat me i got choked out i didn't train i [ __ ] went to i took it on two weeks notice and [ __ ] we went out to china but god bless him god bless him but for you lewis your choices are your choices are lewis calvin gaslin george st pierre luke rockhold tim kennedy beator belfort chael sonnen mandola silva richard evans dan henderson uh that's your law that's your law dan henderson can i say why please one h-bomb i'm out i wake up i go oh that was pleasant i feel like a lot of the other and not most of them could probably knock me out with one shot but dan henderson is a foregone conclusion he is knocking me out with that one shot a lot of these other guys are just going to beat my ass like vanderlei was going to be my choice because of the almost the same reason but it's like vanderla it's not like he's got like one punch knockout power ventilator is gonna hit me eight times and make me bleed all over the place and then knock me out with that seventh shot and the eighth one's gonna hit me as i'm going down a lot of these other guys i don't want to have to deal with grappling or wrestling or elbows or [ __ ] so yeah dan henderson he's an old man hold on vandalist silva knocked out brian's down vandalized silva knocked out kong lee beat michael's this bisping by a very very very controversial very controversial dubious decision uh ricardo arona kazuki vegeta i'm not saying you couldn't knock me out i'm just saying that van der lunde bundle stopped by tko in round one no less yeah van der ley is a tko guy dan henderson's a knockout guy knocked out jackson round two yeah okay knocked out quentin rampaging again okay as my friend who doesn't want to see me be hospitalized or permanently maintain yes it's very simple very simple who are you putting me against out of all of your laws yeah listen you can go you can go get led on by tim kennedy okay he's not gonna fight you badass sniper guy well he's gonna try and do he's trying to hump you to death okay he's gonna try and drive humpy to death if i wanted to save you from any kind of brutality in a beating i'd say yeah go on go fight go fight tim go nice but dim tim got tim dry hump your leg for three rounds that's all it'll do you know what i mean that's it that'd be yeah but it would still suck i would almost rather get knocked out than have tim kennedy on top of me ground and pounding me and punching me for the whole time but the ground of pounds don't hurt you know what i mean but he's got a bigger bigger belly on him he's got a low center of gravity because he's very short so therefore once he gets up he's a little hard to move he's like a little fat little pile of blood [ __ ] he's a big fat pile of blood [ __ ] right he's on you and you get that get off me you [ __ ] little [ __ ] uh all right do we have one more uh one more question to round this off i do have one more question it's just not good i need to tell my brain for us okay all right this will be fine okay guys great show uh yeah listen to every week love it uh i've got a podcast uh i'm not gonna podcast i've got a podcast that's any questions about really it's made me so do the dancing podcast we're about to launch our first episode but as a couple of nobodies who just sat in my house what would be the best way to promote it obviously get a little bear now off youtube but that's what the legends are four minutes up and come as a start thanks for the good work good question well thank you stuart jones and noah did you need translating that lewis i understand i got it he the the audio he's actually got a good voice because at first i was like oh [ __ ] you're going to start a podcast you got that voice he's got a good deep voice it's not like it was just all the the train sounds in the background all that other [ __ ] it wasn't going to be good first thing first advice i'm going to say is make sure that your audio is impeccable if you have [ __ ] audio it's going to be a hard listen and it's going to make people not want to like i didn't want to finish that 30 second question because the audio was so bad oh my audio could be better the whole new video i'm sound proofing more but you know i'm like to the next point [Laughter] well look i think yeah you're right we we are a professional setup and we have audio issues right so believe me i'm speaking firsthand um but bisping do you have any advice because i mean i have i could speak on this subject for you yeah yeah yeah shout out stuart jones and he's from manchester i think somewhere up there like that and that's why he's talking like that and he doesn't need a translator at all brian because i fully understood him and you're going to do a little podcast with your son that's great mate yeah yeah nice one nice one over have a great show how to make it more popular well as louis said i mean first and foremost it's gonna be good it's gonna be entertaining it's gonna be fun uh if you ever got a big social media following obviously that's it that's an obvious go-to right you want to get it get it out there um i guess if you don't have a big social media follower and you don't have big stars and people that have a social media following coming on and being guests then yeah you've just got to be good you're going to make the content so good that people talk about it and they spread it by word of mouth and then they feel compelled to leave reviews and you start a youtube comment and then hopefully a youtube page is part of me and then people start leaving comments and things like that and you just gotta grow naturally simple as that but first and foremost the quality of what you're talking about has got to be good and that's fat coming from me because sometimes my quality is garbage coming out of my mouth lewis yeah sometimes it's a lot about alfie's butt and that's okay we have no problem with it um i feel bad for alfie so all right look couple things the you don't have a following obviously you're not famous you know you it's gonna be a slow burn first and foremost you guys have to love what you're doing you have to enjoy doing that podcast with your son if you guys are enjoying it and making each other laugh and enjoying the conversation and engaged the audience will also be engaged the the audience is a fly on the wall they're listening to this conversation it has to be natural you're not you're not you're not doing a show for them you're having a conversation and they get to be a part of that conversation i think that perspective means a lot the best way in my opinion for a small show to start gaining followers start looking for like-minded podcasts and ask to be a guest ask to come on those podcasts because you'll you'll be able to capture that audience um in a much easier way it's a click of a button especially if you say hey can you please link mine in the bio it's a click of a button if somebody's listening to some podcast and you really connect with them they're going to go this guy's great i want to hear more of them podcast fans supporters are fanatics and they want to he they they listen to podcasts every day on their way to work every day at the gym while they're at work so to be honest with you i don't really think there's ever enough content if you are good and you do sort of these little small things you'll get some followers no doubt about it yeah case in point tonight i'm driving up to la i'll be on the bobby lee podcast awesome you know and that's what you got to do you're [ __ ] famous and you have a big show and you still have to go and do that you know because he'll capture that audience there's going to be tens of thousands of people that go i want to [ __ ] hear this guy again where can i hear him again and yes it's easier for bisping to get on some famous persons podcast but it doesn't have to be a famous person you there's going to be if you go on to reddit.comr podcasts there's a whole community of people that are sharing ideas this is working for me this is working for me you'll see other podcasters that have similar ideas and you could let me tell you something depending on what your your measure of success is because in the beginning maybe you'll have 10 people listening then it turns into 20 then 100 and even 500 in the world of podcasting doesn't sound like much but if you had 500 people showing me showing up in a parking lot every week to listen to your speech the [ __ ] fbi would shut you down so it starts from there and we'll it will grow from there devastating advocate devil's advocate uh or you might go on a guest podcast and you turn people off you know what that is that is the flip side that is the danger they might go on then you might be like i'm trying to advertise my podcast but no you're shutting it down so yeah listen stuart in that case you shouldn't do podcasts if you're trying people off with your voice yeah well my voice is an issue as well so if i can [ __ ] do it stuart anyone can uh all the best you and your son uh wish you all the best and i guess that'll be the end of the show everyone for listening thank you very much thank you for tuning in and listening to our little show we'll be back thursday with another one we're gonna have a good guest i'm not sure who yet we're gonna figure it out we'll have a good guest thursday and uh thursday's hammer fisting with harrington so we'll be back with another show thursday thanks to brian thank you to harrington and lewis you know what do i say what do i say say thank you like you thanked our [ __ ] production team cheers cheers nice one good job thank you
