so someone made a brutally hard mod for mario odyssey where you lose one coin every second and when you reach zero it's game over but for me that seemed a little easy so i made it fifty percent harder i lose one point five coins every second let's see if i can beat it oh and if you liked the video remember to subscribe i appreciate it all right here we go first try go let's do this yeah as you can see we start with 45 coins at 30 seconds and we're going and we're just i'm just gonna try and beat the game okay got another 30 seconds just go this way but yeah i expect this will be pretty tremendously difficult still turn around immediately there's coins in this box oh that's gonna give me yeah if you hit the boxes wrong they only give you one coin which is not a good thing okay hit the wrong frog but that's fine go nice and fast we do need to get these coins here i figured i'd break one of those as well just to get the heart but i mean we made it to cascade kingdom first try with exactly 69 coins too it's a beautiful day keep in mind we still like need to beat the boss without collecting too many coins along the way so it's gonna be a little bit tough i do know where there's some coin stacks here and there but still gonna be tricky uh i believe there's this here yeah that's good coins we like to see it don't miss the jump okay good stuff we need to just slowly a dino dino listen to me buddy okay okay 58 coins i will try it i guess i think that's enough time to beat the boss with the coins that you get in the box we'll give it a try also yeah low bad strats it's a classic because there are um these coins that you get here so those will probably keep us going long enough for the fight grab these this is bad oh damn it oh this is terrible i think we're still fine just just plain it as safe as i can come on okay we still have a few seconds or some coin sitting around there this is okay we've got this oh man you might see me like leaning over today like this i don't know why but i woke up and i couldn't move my neck at all there's like a muscle in my neck is in extreme pain and refuses to move and it like locked my head like that all day loosened up a lot but man i'm trying to lean it over but anyways okay more coins as long as we get into the dino sub area we'll be okay okay we got 50 coins from that that's a glitch that you can do to uh where you hit multiple hit boxes on a rock at us at one time and it makes it so it spawns multiple groups of eight and we got 50 which are 56 i think which might be the max amount anyways we're getting the moon here we're gonna leave sand kingdom is where the most coins in the entire game are so we'll be getting as many um sand coins as we can and it'll seem like we're not struggling for a bit but i mean after sand kingdom there's really no coins left in the game there's just no huge coin piles 25 you're ancient yes i'm sure when i was a young man like you i didn't have these neck pains and sore muscles okay we're gonna get the checkpoint here do we have enough time to get moons that's the question i think i am gonna grab some moons not quite sure why just feeling it i think we have the time and i'm really trying to play this as optimally as i can 122 coins that's that's over a minute that's enough time and plus whenever we get a moon installs a timer for a little bit this will work okay okay okay yeah just just wasting coins away why 1.5 instead of one one was too easy maybe we should have done one [Music] if i can't make a stupid jump onto an icicle come on okay grabbing these coins and now we have 100 coins left we have lost coins over the course of this kingdom check this movement out it's going to be smooth dude one triple jump a double jump and boom on here back flip oh crisp moving are we able to grab this coin pile now not only that on the way back we grab onto the same thing to jump up oh and the moon is mine [Music] pretty smooth okay grab that and now we're gonna have to go do some coin thing something that scares me quite a lot is the fact that i really don't know how hard the late game stuff is going to be also i should stop grabbing moons we have enough damn wow sick jump dude okay but like it will this challenge will look pretty easy out of sand kingdom because we'll have so many coins but keep in mind we there really aren't any more coins in the game there's like a few stacks of 50 here and there but other than sand kingdom there's pretty much nothing like the biggest stack that i can think of that's out of this kingdom is like there's a stack of like 100 and lost okay go in go in please don't waste my time there's a lot of coins in there there we go okay easy boss fight i you do lose a little bit of time in this boss fight but the idea is that what unlocks after this boss fight is uh worth it you look kind of sick you doing all right i do look sick you see this movement is there no rule about not using balloon world it it's a mod if you go online with onboard there's like a 90 chance you just get banned i'm not going to go i'm not going to get banned just for the friggin coin okay avoid all these guys because they do lose me coins because you know i have to take time to get hit they're gonna spawn in front of me never mind okay i think we have we lose 10 coins for that this is not a big deal we lost a few coins it's nothing okay good lots of time okay one two three the whole reason why i defeated harriet was for that one corn vial back there but also for this this beautiful juicy coin stack we now have a lot of time early game will seem easy but all of these mistakes they add up buy a costume you look snazzy um i like the wooded kingdom one maybe we'll buy one in wooded kingdom that could be fun low battery drama oh yeah my battery could just die at any point too that's always fun right we'll go here do you have a spare charge joy gun available no i don't i don't have a spare joy-con available all of my joy-cons are dead or have joy-con drift actually these have joy-con drift okay coins here um so yeah if the controller dies one sec just got to fight this oh drop my input oh no that's time where do we are we back at the odyssey i was trying to do a cool movement but i screwed it up how much do we lose like a minute for that oh god we only have like i mean we have over 10 minutes but it's always counting down and like metro kingdom sucks just go faster he seems stressed you would be too if you always have a timer counting down you know what the scarier part is if you have a counter counting down that you couldn't see and you don't know how much time is left oh that's just real life too real don't do this to me it's a monday sorry okay okay um six more moons i um i don't i don't think we need to go into the tower okay we're going to the boss fight it should be fine if that's how life is how do you increase the timer oh you know like exercise get enough sleep be rich really simple things really did you just say be rich like yeah where's the lie okay we need three more moons and you know how i said i was gonna buy a moon or an outfit in this kingdom i kind of forgot about that but i'm gonna stay true to my word i'm just not going to buy it with regular coins wait that's the wrong way where am i going ah that's a single jump back not all the way down i'm another moon with a few coins for my time and i i'm almost done here okay we have 10 minutes left on our timer and not a lot of coins left in the game but at least it pauses while we're in this menu we're gonna buy a cool outfit like i said i know this is wasting a little bit of time but i said i was gonna do it i'm true to my word all right i'm gonna look good clean outfit now we're looking fresh exploring and the timer is counting down during the cutscene love that all right all right we're going to cloud kingdom where there are literally zero coins i think so hopefully this boss fight goes well you can get a heart yeah you can only get hearts if you need hearts which hearts don't give coins if you need hearts so you can't get any coins oh crap i lost about a few seconds here because i didn't do the optimal strat spouse is going to jump wait no i actually saved time there sorry i saved time i accidentally did one of the hardest strats punching them from the front but still having him only jump one circle all right we're done 405 coins feeling good so now we have lost kingdom there's only one coin stack in lost kingdom that i can think of uh that's the one it towed so we're gonna try and finish at captain toad okay good jumps just got to make sure i'm playing fast get those coins back clean coin movement moving cappy in a pretty pretty good way there but not mario i guess okay lots of coins in these good moon too love that excellent can't forget the coins on top of the ship classic this is going pretty well i feel like my uh movement isn't going too bad okay big jump okay lost a bunch of time there it's pretty bad i'm gonna do the easy weigh-in now we got one of my coins back let's go okay talk to captain toad for our last moon 480 coins a decent amount of time not great though the tower you can get a lot of coins in the tower if you focus so i'm gonna try and focus okay get those coins there or not oh i got them anyways let's go okay just try and get up as quickly as possible just jump up we're going uh i think i'll get the moon here i think this is fine to get we're in the mecca wiggler fight we have plenty of time we've got this just focus don't mess up clean shots so far okay perfect shots excellent we got it um how many coins we have we have 300 coins that's less than 10 minutes now what is that like seven and a half minutes is that right i don't know we don't have a ton of time left is what i'm trying to say is that right do i only have three minutes yes 90 coins is one minute hey there are a lot of coins in the costume room unfortunately i don't have the correct costume uh but fortunately that doesn't matter because we can just go through the wall it's all good nice and clean ow good bonk though love that yeah there should be 50 coins in this don't go back take a hit doesn't matter we're just going to grab all these and then warp back up and we're going to start getting musicians yeah this is like coin rush mode that's a good way to good way to uh call this challenge coin rush i like that coin rush is a youtube title no that's the thing i feel like this is the the big flaw with uh that pokemon youtubers kind of fell into and it's uh you know you don't realize it's happening as it's happening the problem with youtube titles a lot of the time is once you get to a point where you start uh familiarize yourself with the names of your own challenges you forget that you know a lot of those things are meaningless to other people i i've been seeing the something called an iron man what does that mean that's meaningless to me i don't know what that means is that hard i don't know sure yeah i like the avengers i guess i'll watch it i have no idea what it means is it difficult it's better to just say hey you lose a coin every second you understand what it is if you're interested you click on it okay we get to do the festival now we actually gained some coins here uh we're at 220 coins at the start of this let's hope we gain coins we'll see all right looks like we made about a minute of time in this that's good and now we will hit the drought there's just no coins in seaside snow kingdom i think we just have to complete them as quickly as we can i think we have to do seaside first and gain coins somehow okay because there are a few coins that i can think of there's no coin stacks like dedicated coin stacks but there are a lot of coins just sitting around in the kingdom so we'll probably try and grab those i think it's still advisable to get the this one first because it is just an easy one and it's very fast so we can do this and then okay check this out i'm gonna deliberately fall here because there's cat mario and i believe there's like a billion coins below me yep cat mario gives 10. getting lower and lower on coins by the minute um but yeah this is i think the most coins in this kingdom right do we just have to go for it and cease in snow kingdom if we can make it to luncheon there's i think enough coins especially after the boss fight there's like a group of 50 that we could potentially get and we could always go back kingdoms to get more coins there's definitely some areas earlier on that i think we we could probably gain a few coins on i just got an ingenious idea so i don't think we have enough coins to get the kingdom right uh we need to hope we get this clip if we get this clip in a really really good place i think i got it please please please please yes oh my god we had one shot at that and it worked please tell me i hit the loading zone i hit it let's go okay because here's the thing we will get three moons in here the thing is while we're in the race i'm fairly sure you can't lose coins because i'm fairly sure this is considered like a bigger cutscene yeah we don't lose coins here okay you can't gain coins in this race but you can't lose them either i could take all the time i want in this race as long as i win not a big deal all right under a minute easy no problem and there's three moons for like 20 coins but that wasn't the only big brain part of this strategy okay there's more to it okay i need to hope i can make this i suck dude i suck okay well we'll have to do that after this is fine anyways that that's not part of the strat this is the strat that i had in mind we're going up here we lost a few coins but check out the sub area look at all of the beautiful coin rings we're gaining time for sure we have to be gaining time in the sub area right now just make sure to get oh yeah we definitely gained coins in this excellent sweet okay we do need two more moons now um i can get snowdram come on if i can't get snowdram i don't deserve this challenge please please please get the trick it's not this hard there we go just messed up the timing for the cap throw cheese i'm bad okay do we have a plan for luncheon uh just don't mess up haha i have no plan i don't know what i'm going to do that's not a good start in metro uh also we could do the cap kingdom tower so there's 50 coins here that'll be enough the revisit is slightly different it is a different scenario so we won't be able to do the festival again that's two minutes almost i can't believe i forgot the uh the the sub area in this kingdom i can't believe i forgot it 181 coins we now have two minutes i think a cap kingdom the revisit in the frog room we can gain a little bit of time oh no we're only getting one coin from that one now coin blocks work weird okay we gained almost nothing from cap kingdom love that so good i don't know if we're a boss fight that is basically an auto scroller and we just need to hope we have enough coins ruined kingdom and the fun that it is i have no idea how many coins are here i hope it's more than 50 but i think it's only 50 coins oh it was 100 i think 80 i think that was 80. is this enough time to beat the boss i think this is barely enough time to beat the boss we'll be able to get five coins here and there as long as i don't take any damage but this is literally an auto scroller um what are we gonna do in bowser's kingdom we're gonna have like 30 seconds going into bowser's kingdom 67 coins left three coins here and if i make this jump yeah there are a few coins there 50 man 50. please don't have a heart good yes love those we don't have any time we have a few seconds left where do we time okay we'll have about a minute there's one thing that may be able to save us because one minute is clearly not enough to beat the game with there's one idea that i have that may save us i'm gonna one more coin pile left in the game but i think it's just barely enough give the check one at the top and go down to the sphinx room sphincter room won't actually open up until you beat um until you
