The hardest Mario Odyssey Challenge just got harder... (Minimum Captures)

what has happened it's if something that's very important I've been gone from the stream for about I think it's four days I took Friday off I took Monday off and I don't stream on weekends right what I left on Thursday the minimum captures in Super Mario Odyssey was nine all right now a capture right you guys know this when you take control of something with Cappy just like that you transform him to it over the course of the last four days and it's been cut down to three they took out six of them with a single glitch the first capture that they figured out how to skip was the Sherm which is the tank in night Metro because normally you have to come into night Metro and to get enough moons you have to beat the Mack wiggler and make it turn into day Metro so you can collect the correct amount of moons to leave the here's the thing they figured out how to get into de Metro without even going into night Metro how do you skip night structure the first time you go there it's a night time that doesn't make any sense right no that's not the case I'm going to do my best to explain it but we will be learning how to do it today first you need to turn on knights and Kingdom if there's a painting to Metro Kingdom so you go through the painting and when you go into metro Kingdom for the first time it's Dave Metro there's no mecha wiggler fighting us obviously to be able to get the moon's you need to make it to the mainland and this is possible I can get to the mainland of Metro Kingdom using something called a Cappy returned canceled now you can see Cappy right there right and then it's at the checkpoint this trick is incredibly difficult the other thing though is that specific trick doesn't only skip one capture in Metro Kingdom it skips the rest of the captures in Bowser's Kingdom there are now zero captures and Bowser's Kingdom but a similar trick is used in two-player mode to warp Cappy over to the checkpoint now obviously they accidentally captured that wire because they didn't react fast enough but you see that checkpoint got hit you can skip every single capture and Bowser's Kingdom now but we were doing three captures today the three captures is one wire in cat kingdom one wire in rune Kingdom and Bowser and Moon Kingdom that's it that's all that's left today is a challenge run because there's no way I can do this fast it's it's that difficult here we go three captures like this run is still stupid difficult like I am playing with my hands and my feet almost the entire run in two-player mode there still are insanely difficult tricks on top of that like there's so much there is so much in this run now it's the gift that keeps on giving oh we got to do some stuff is this 1.0 only I believe the CRC the trick that skips six captures is possible on one point three all right start by going out of bounds and we started doing the Cascade gets shenanigans and this is all to skip madam brutal and a Chain Chomp of course today it's not about going fast it's about just finishing a run because oh my god is this going to be difficult I am scared we're gonna probably spend a few hours in Bowser's Kingdom it's trying to skip them you think two caps could happen honestly now three caps might be where it remains for years like all of the reasonable captures have been skipped it's actually insane also okay what I'm trying to do right now is get Kathy on that island it's a bit tricky so the capture in cap Kingdom right now it's like a hundred percent required you cannot leave the kingdom without being in the capture I believe Bowser I believe they determined was similar there he's on the island now cuz to finish the game you have to be in the Bowser capture and then the the most likely one is the wire in ruin but we need like an infinite height glitch without capi to be able to do that and that is not likely but we'll see the next capture did we skip most likely would be the Rouen Kingdom one but don't expect anything and there we go we skipped or we did the hard trick in this game how many captures as possible in one player 12 I believe all right solid wall or so it seems I psyche it's not a solid wall I'm sorry if I'm being loud I'm just very excited this is I nervous excited there's so much going on today right cool strat please oh heck yeah cool strat let's go [Music] alright looks like my hands took a little bit to warm up but we're through the wall alright alright so now to get into Knight sand I need to go through that wall which that went well why do you need Knights and I need to get Knights and because that unlocks the Metro Kingdom painting we can do de métro before we do Knight Metro it's called morning Metro as you could see on my splits that is what they are calling it so we will be fighting we will be fighting Harriett in this run now because we need to to get Knight Metro turned on this is really the first sequence break in like any run in Super Mario Odyssey that's so cool this is literally I think the first time that a sequence break has actually been used in a run and now we learned how to do a very very difficult trick get comfortable because this is gonna take a while spam the ground pound button on copy for exactly 1 minute 45 seconds perform the CRC press why wait three point one three seconds and then press Y again ground pound with cap e once climb Mario onto the crate duck and spam ground pound on cap e aim at the Check Point press copy Y and wait about three seconds then backflip with Mario and shake kappa d controller perform a CRC and you hit the checkpoint how did you find this and it's exactly three point one three seconds I believe it's literally frame perfect there we go that is the audio cue for help timing the frame perfect thing this is so caught this is so complicated here we go should be lined up it's so close we were so close almost it's right there I'm just gonna reach out the run just so we have a better start now that we've got to learn how to do it we got it we got it let's go hahaha oh my god that's it we're in I guess I need to get moons ha ha we're in metro without fighting anything nude nomaka wiggler the first time I'm very scared of capturing anything now so I got to be a little little careful about that now we only need to do that trick 5 more times in Bowser's Kingdom with increasing difficulty good stuff yeah now we're in the night metro isn't this like the night Metro thing it's just it's playing the night Metro music which is funny like we go up here and then oh look it's still day Metro and you know what let's see I think I can make this jump I think I can I believe I believe Oh easy dude easy Oh Mike there's no scrap here cuz the Mecca wiggler isn't dead you can't even get the moon I never even thought of that there's usually a moon there because the Mecca wigglers but that is that is attention to detail oh my god Nintendo knew about the skip yeah that's it that's all we needed so now that we have all of the moons in Metro Kingdom what we do we leave because the Odyssey isn't in Metro yet so we're done morning Metro all right leg Kingdom here we come your heart is beating mine is - it came him nice and fast also just so you guys know hitting checkpoints is not a captures that's absurd you don't capture the checkpoints you just hit them and activate them wait why is it called ahaha it's cuz uh so we skipped night metro earlier I could have swore we skip tonight Metro haha we did that's why it's called haha and all the snow Kingdom all right now we just do our regular snow seaside Los ruined don't skip night metro you're so sexy uh haha it's so good so we climbed up the wall that's pretty sick right all right we captured a wire in cap Kingdom capturing the wire in ruined and this is the most likely capture to be skipped but here's the thing to skip this capture we need an infinite height glitch that makes it so you can get from the Odyssey into this arena not just with cabby but with the Mario which is just no right and now the fun part of the run when I say fun I mean the worst part ah we got the checkpoint but it I wasn't ready all right that's it I just need to open up the map earlier that would have worked and there we go we got the capture skip just like that let's go baby we have skipped the first pylon with a black freaking magic my dude pylon number two now last one for today please work come on oh my god oh dude it the let's try the day let's go baby yeah we will continue this tomorrow I'm gonna restart from the beginning and we're gonna do a whole full run all the way through so it's in one video one solid stream I feel like tomorrow's gonna be way more successful first try baby let's go how did my wooded Kingdom take twelve and a half minutes alright me and my roommate had an arm wrestle in the middle of wooded Kingdom he said he could beat me and he didn't small ant big muscles there's a shake to win strap for this one - try second try though I'm so excited oh my god we finally got it I was so nervous that we were gonna get it today legit don't slide out no Mario there we go we're up that's pokey no that's another trick that we skip to capture wits and now when you just kept one more you know we need to do we need to get this nut right here stop and wet and then we need to jump with it alright so I want to see those wet nuts and chat let's go let's actually go I'm missing a moon yes I'd like to pick one up earlier that's okay I can pick one up in a different spot no no kappa kappa kappa gaby that hurts i too much freaking focus this is insane this is actually insanity dude what the heck good got the hard strata at least Moon Kingdom here we come with two captures that is it I can't believe it I cannot believe it three captures is a it's a thing it's stopped doing it we're gonna do one of these one of these and we're gonna land right there and we're gonna fail me how embarrassing by that again we're gonna do one of these and we're gonna do one of these and we're gonna land right there and then we're gonna get up there we go skip the moon cave easy dude we are here we are doing this the final capture she's right there there he is the big boy Bowser let's do it let's do it capture number three we really about to get three capsule right now yes sir there's the 2ds skip and here's the beautiful XD skip XD see a copy bye we don't need you we're done with you now we don't need to capture anything look at that cabbie just chasing around Kaffee we don't need you get out of here you're chasing me from behind that's not cool no no no no no get out get out it's going to what just with a hot pic you know we're doing we're gonna go bomb one extra for the road alright to commemorate this moment of the first three captures run ever done of Super Mario Odyssey four hours 53 minutes 48 seconds we did it three captures huge thanks to circle and touval for coming up with a bunch of setups there's also everyone in the low percent discord they helped out so so much to make this happen it's awesome it's just like it's the the culmination of so many people working together for this like this goal this achievement and three captures is likely where it's going to stay for a long time something that I want to check though before we do anything else is what happened to Metro Kingdom is it still in chaos third or what because no one's ever skipped Metro in a run before let's see Knight Metro is stuck in eternal darkness it's still night Metro the mecha wiggler terrorizing the city forever Bowser is still here but Bowser still up there even though we've defeated on Bowser isn't done yet so it looks like he kidnapped peach again I guess we're gonna have to do this run again next
