Livestream Hearts of Iron 4 Challenge strategy testing: Bulgaria

you testing testing can you hear me hello everyone um you know who I am and that's a start - Bulgaria - those of you who don't know what this is this is the stream I promised we're going to be testing a challenge strategy and one of the much requested challenges was to play as Bulgaria I think I think I will mmm I think the challenge will be to conquer the Balkans but I'll see what I can do maybe we can do better than that what else hmm I'm feeling a bit better today but still a little bit under the weather but he's getting better I should not be sick we'll say we'll say no more active just the base game with all the DLC and on testing I'm not doing Ireland mode yeah let's start a game is Bulgaria I do have an idea of what I want to do but I want to see how effective that will be mostly regarding the Allied guarantees and no this is not the actual recording of the challenge we're just we will just be will be just testing strategies because I kinda like to know what I'm going to be doing for now let's make a lot of cavalry tactical bomber or strategic bomber strategic bomber um I don't know I don't really use Air Force too much I like to use you know the simplest way possible and everything how many screens I am using two monitors one for the game and the other to check if recording is going well and so on and also this is going to be a rather short stream I'm only going to play for one hour because then I have other stuff to do right what else that's not a training of that infantry here well this is not a challenge yet it's just a test game okay done the base things what challenge am i doing we're playing as Bulgaria and I think the challenge will be to conquer the Balkans but I'll see how the game develops alright what else I'm going to be deploying out of cavalry as soon as I can why cavalry well because it requires less manpower and I just want to have a lot of units in the field and we're going fascist and because it's easier I try to go in communists in the test game actually is Bulgaria but it was not the best choice it was YouTube live ugly I don't know I don't really watch it much I can't really catch and good streams often although and have AI have a plate hearts of iron one Republican Spain that's gonna make things difficult for us mmm I have not actually played house of iron 3 too much the interface was just very unpleasant for me it was more of a hassle than fun to play hearts of iron 3 and but I played a lot of hands of iron - mmm conquered the world as potent at house of iron - that was very satisfying well not the world I think I went as far as Germany and Asia and then got bought something like that house of wine - was fun house of iron 3 is just not for me we can attack Greece now we're not ready though we're not ready should you military youth yet I suppose we can do one more before we do this Age of Empires - yes we actually used to play that with with my friends on LAN parties quite quite fun until you get a lot of elephants in your city all right let me do conscription we'll change that later captain of industry can wait we will need an infantry expert hmm you know let's say I save the points for now I'll still haven't made up my mind about that and we need to finish researching concentrated industry to build more stuff okay I'll get some infrastructure then mmm here maybe just a few bits to mmm although I did intend to make a full kind 44 like everything right - everything something along the lines what riemann does but more streamlined so not everything about you for mmm but everything you need to know about you fall to be successful I suppose will do on the infantry equipment things now now that that's a video would take me several weeks to complete and I'm kind of out of the loop commander I hated one day you don't have portraits and modify our Field Marshal with the stuff that we can get he has a defensive doctrine which is not perfect but it will come in handy what else I forgot I wanted to build one fort in which of those provinces just one to help our chances against Romania yeah let's cancel that infrastructure don't really need it and when you're done with the fort template is just tons and 10 tons of pure infantry if you have a lot of production potential then it's some infantry and somewhere to the me and some other stuff yeah this is not gonna work out is it harder to get one part from China but that's clearly not going to be an option maybe you should get a Romanian puppet not sure about that okay for now let's see if we can attack you to suffer without a guarantee we cannot attack you to survive without a guarantee that is unfortunate what did our country instead am i excited about the new expansion I'm not sure it's centered around naval stuff and I personally really don't like dealing with naval stuff so initially no I'm not however what if it makes the naval stuff fun then I would be excited right where we concentrated industry and maybe construction yes Navy is terrible in my opinion as well but the question is if if the expansion is focused on Navy it can either you know give it more stuff which will also be horrible or it can make it fun if it makes it fun great do I notice if I capture a capital or one justifiable there's a foot of Charles stomach mobilization I have never noticed that I don't have any interesting decisions not really all right so I intended to attack China now but China and it was defeated - very quickly hmm so perhaps what I should do is just puppet Romania and get manpower from them let's do that they'll um they'll lose Bessarabia and Bukovina later but that's fine by me yeah well unfortunate I wanted to annex them myself concentrators versus dispersed industry I am a fan of concentrated would happen what else hungry is good if we can get if we can get Greece Romania and Hungary and then China is still alive what I want to do is annex all these and then attack China for manpower and maybe join up with the Japanese and then you have to fight the Soviet Union if we keep these two if we don't then we don't hmm ok this is something to consider I might do another testing stream who
