I added Luigi and Toad to Bowser's Fury, but...

in bowser's fury you normally play as mario not as the other characters from super mario 3d world i wanted to change that and here's what happened when i tried to add luigi and other characters into the game as you might have noticed this looks like luigi wearing a giant mario mask and this abomination might be more frightening than anything you've ever seen in a luigi's mansion game just look at it let's try going to collect a cat shine and let's see what happens luigi runs across the boat he's able to get the cat shine and the cut scene that plays when you get a cat shine looks pretty normal aside from the fact that it looks like luigi wearing a mario mask when the rest of the game starts after this cut scene luigi with the mario mask is ready to take on the world he jumps down towards bowser jr and the bowser jr cutscene plays for a moment when luigi shows up it almost looks normal but then you can see mario's face sticking out from the side during these cut scenes you can see how luigi reacts to talking to bowser jr here but at the end of all this it looks like luigi is happy to help bowser jr and their journey together begins [Music] oh look luigi is chasing his own shadow oh no luigi's shadow hurt luigi and he became little luigi the models for mario's character and luigi's character were swapped but different parts of the models are kept in different files so that's why we still have mario's face on this little luigi body and it ends up looking like it's just mario wearing luigi's clothes what happens if you get the cat's suit like this well not only is there a different file for the characters and their faces but also for their tails for the catsuit you can see that even though mario is now wearing luigi's green catsuit he still has his default yellow tail because that file wasn't swapped here and since luigi's face is longer vertically than mario's faces you end up seeing some empty space above mario's head when mario wears the luigi catsuit because luigi's face normally fills up this space and mario can happily get a cat shine while wearing the luigi catsuit even if the catsuit is a little big for him in some places now that mario is in his brother's green cat suit he decides to hold a green cat and smash through some crate while holding the cat and we can swap other power-ups as well if we give mario the files for luigi's boomerang power-up then mario has a green colored turtle shell helmet and even a green boomerang but now it's time to face the first bowser of the game because it is raining and the bowser phase is coming up the green cat gets the gigabell and look what it transforms into [Music] and who do we have some unique green colors for sure green cat yellow tail mario face who are we even controlling in this battle against bowser the battle rages on luigi gets a nice ground pound luigi dodges a fire attack and luigi is able to take out this boss should i be calling this character luigi or mario oh and it looks like bowser jr has more to say next up is princess peach and as a warning this is perhaps the most frightening thing i've ever seen in a video game the model for princess peach's dress is kept in a separate file from her crown and her legs and some of her hair and i still have mario's hands and face attached here so we have an assortment of body parts moving around from different characters instead of having princess peach in cut scenes it's just as strange to see this the models that we have active and the movement everything is just so weird about this so let's try getting the cat suit and see what happens when we get the cat suit this honestly looks really normal compared to what we just saw we still have mario's face active but we have the pink catsuit and the bit of blonde hair at the front really looks hilarious to me just look at this mario carrying around the cats it's so funny to see him being a bit like brit says peach we could see the pink cat suit we could see the earrings that princess peach normally wears and the light color of princess peach's hair compared to the color of mario's mustache it's kind of funny to see let's chase down shadow luigi with a cat and here we go we got another shine and it makes me smile every time that i see that mario face with the rest of the cat princess peach now we just have to wait for some rain and then we will be able to take on bowser as mario cat peach mario has to look good when bowser appears so he makes sure to take some damage to go back to his normal princess peach form and when it's raining when it's time to take on bowser when the gigabell is active let's go grab that gigabell as mario peach the juxtaposition of the seriousness on mario's face combined with the hair and the princess crown just makes me laugh whenever i see this i love this mod so much princess peach is now ready to take on bowser and as we move around we can see mario's face peeking out sometimes from certain camera angles this looks like princess peach is ready to take on bowser but as we move around we can see mario's face peeking out from certain angles sometimes mario takes some damage and goes back to his normal princess peach form we now have giant legs and no middle body mario avoids the fire attack from bowser and gets ready to land another attack mario is very serious and is taking this battle very seriously this is serious business bowser goes to launch another fire attack at mario so mario ducks down low being careful to make sure that the fire attack won't hit him yes mario is clearly safe in this position just look how safe mario looks when he is crouching down here this is the position that you want to be in when bowser is shooting fire at you and one more time the boss is coming down to hit mario mario gets into position and with a final ground pound mario is able to finish off the boss and take out bowser looks like bowser jr has more to say again and mario is listening very intently here [Music] this walking animation that we see without princess peach's dress shows just her legs and it looks pretty strange when you get a propeller box this looks like it could be its own character from its own video game next up is toad and this is probably my favorite thing that i have ever seen in a video game i absolutely love seeing mario's face on the tone it looks so funny to me and it fits so well but after a bit of running around this is what happened to mario's face that's got to be pretty scary the text that pops up and says look around even makes this look like it could be something used in a creepy pasta the rain and the lightning in the background add to the dark and stormy night vibes here there are a lot of cursed things that are being created by trying to add different characters to bowser's fury so instead of creating more cursed stuff let's go on and try to create a more regular toad moving forward let's continue through the game with mario as a toad and as we move along things will change slightly i also made mario a little bit faster because toad is normally a fast character in super mario 3d world if mario takes some damage here he'll become little toad and he can collect the first shine of the game as little toad and we see that in the cat shine cutscene here i just can't get over how good this looks a toad with mario's face this is perfection this is what game modding was created for there are some slight graphical issues with this but this just looks so precious to me that i can easily get over the slight graphical issues let's head on over to the bowser jr cutscene next wait a minute where are mario's arms mario's arms aren't here for this cut scene except in this last part here mario suddenly has his arms again and it's good that this toad mario is willing to help bowser jr if you get a toad bell while being this cat mario i made it so that mario becomes the cat toad and this honestly looks pretty small we could see that this is mario but he's just wearing the toad cat suit and it's nice that mario is able to fit inside this cat's suit if you have the camera always facing to mario's back then this just looks like regular gameplay where you play as toad in bowser's fury we're just making our way around scamper shores but once you get a shine you can see that it's really mario wearing toad's cat suit because you could see mario's face peeking out [Music] and i must have done something else weird in this mod because look what happened to shadow luigi i somehow shrunk shadow luigi maybe it has something to do with mario being so small because he's currently towed but shadow luigi is definitely shorter than normal here and now it's time for one last bowser showdown toad bowser cat toad will mario be part of this let's see what happens toad versus bowser i thought it would be really interesting to see what a giga cat toad fighting against bowser would look like so here we are and the toad also has the correct file for his face this time this toad has his showdown against bowser let's get right to it and see what happens and this is a pretty wild fight for those of you that want other playable characters in bowser's fury because currently you could only play as mario here's what it might look like well kind of what it might look like despite some slight differences if you were to play this game with toad instead of as mario and you could let me know in a comment if you could play as any character from super mario 3d world in bowser's fury what character would you want to play as but this toad isn't going to have the right face for long because the toad takes some damage becoming regular mario again and oh my goodness mario has no eyes again this is so curse what is happening to mario's eyes when he is towed why does he keep losing his eyes but it looks like mario literally does not need any eyes at all to defeat this bowser let me show you what happens in the next cutscene after we beat this
