How To Install 'Expand Base' Mod In Palworld!

so in this video I'm going to be telling you guys how you can download the extra base mod this is where you can expand the range of your base so this screenshot shows you how big you can actually make the circle around your base to build so I'm going to show you guys how to download it and then after at the end of the video we're going to hop into a game and I'll show you guys exactly how it works I do have this mod already installed and I can say that it works really well so the first thing you want to do is go to nexusmods.com SLP powerworld that is where you can find all of the power world mods but if you want to get to this exact page right here I will link it in the description down below as always once you're on this page you want to go to the description section and you want to go down and here you'll see the instructions on how to download the mod and it's very important that you look at the instructions because if you mess up then things can go wrong but it's really simple instructions if you have basic knowledge and common sense so it should be really easy and I'm going to walk you guys through it right now oh and this also works for existing worlds already so if you already have a world set up and you install this mod it will work for your current world as well so you don't need to make a whole new world for this to take place so these are the instructions that we're going to follow in order to install the mod but the first thing you're going to need is ue4 SS this is what you need to download basically every mod you only need to download it one time once you have it downloaded and installed then you're good to go on that but for those of you watching and you don't have ue4 SS installed this is how you would do it if you guys already have this installed then you want to skip ahead to where we download the mod video will be timestamped in the description to make your life a little easier now before you download the mod which is the first step here I suggest downloading the ue4 SS so you want to click on it the orange text right here then you'll have this page pop up and then you want to scroll down until you get to this part right here ue4 SS 3.0.1 what you want to do is you want to click on it so it downloads and then you want to open up the folder now this is a zip folder so you will need to extract it so I use winwire to extract my file it is free to download all you have to do is go to the link right here in the description and just download the English 64bit version or they have any version that's in your language depending on where you live so once you have the zip folder and you have wiir or whatever program you're using to extract files you want to make sure you're highlighted on the exact file you want to extract and you want to go to extract two then you want to just hit okay once you do that now we can go over to the regular folder section and you can see the ue4 SS 3.0.1 if you were to open it up you would see this right here and you would need this to drag into your files to find the right directory for that what you want to do is open up steam you want to go to power world in your library you want to rightclick you want to go to manage and you want to go to browse local files once you do that this will open up and you should be on this exact page right here so I pretty much remember where to go so you want to go to Pal you want to go to binaries and then you want to hit win64 now in mine you could already see a mods folder you can already see the ue4 SS settings but you are not going to see this in your category and that's where this comes in the folder that we just extracted you want to highlight it and then you're just going to drag it over into to here once you do that then your section should look just like this with your mods folder and your ue4 SS settings now once you do that the u4 SS is installed so you don't have to do anything else so we're going to minimize this and we're going to go back once so we can get back to this page now we can focus on downloading the mod so for those of you that skipped the ue4 SS settings and you missed this step I just want to say beforehand is you want to open up steam you want to go to library and you want to go to power world you want to right click it you want to go to manage and browse local files once you're here you want to go to Pal binaries and then win64 so you get to this section right here where you can see the mod folder so to download the mod you want to scroll up and you want to go to where it says files and here you would see two different versions now you want to download the main file right here you want to hit manual download you want to hit download then you want to open up the zip folder you want to extract it we're going to hit extract okay then we find the regular folder for it once you find the actual folder then you can open up and and here you would see this folder right here so then if we minimize that for a second we go back to the website go back to description we scroll down to continue following the instructions it says exract the mod into the mods folder that we put in with the ue4 SS and then you can edit the actual range of it in there so the instructions are pretty clear but they kind of worded it confusing but it's pretty much in the same area that we already were so you would go pal binaries win64 you'll get on this page right here then you want to open up the mods folder then when you open up the mods folder we can grab the mod from here that we extracted and you would just drag it into the mods folder now we already have the mod right here so I don't have to drag it in and once you do that you should be good to go but if you want to edit the range of your blue circle and how big you can make your base this is what you would do so you would open up the mods folder you want to go to scripts and you want to go to config when you open up config you can see what the default range of your base is which be 3500 right now I have mine set at 10,000 because I'm a single player so why not and even says right here change this to whatever you want you can put it to 100,000 you can make it big to where it could cover the whole entire map but if you do that do it at your own risk cuz I don't know how crazy that would get but what you would do is change it up I mean if you want to still a fair size but not too big I suggest going to either 5,000 or just double the number but I'm fine with that for now once you're done with that and you change it then you would hit file and save and of course when you open up the config open it up in your notepad so that way you're actually able to edit it and make changes now once you do that you're good to go you can just X all this out we're going to open up the game now and I'll show you guys how it works okay so we're in my single player world and this right here is where the blue line is around my base and you can see it's actually huge it goes all the way around to the thing we're going to fly over my base right now so you guys can see the actual range of it so the circle pretty much covers this whole entire base area and this is will be the 10,000 so if you put it at 10,000 this is how big of an area you would get you know I have my breeding pins over there uh my ranches over there and I still have a a lot of space left over I put my PO Box inside my base which was probably a bad idea because for some reason all my pals spawn in on it and it's really annoying but other than that though uh this covers the entire range so I have my PO box right there and it's covering this whole area and for a better reference let me show you guys so where these stone walls are is where the default range was so originally when I had it at default where these stone walls are is where the blue circle was and how big my base was now that with the mod I was able to expand my base all the way out here instead where this blue line is so basically from that wall to here is how much extra space we have in the full circle this covers a wide area and like I said I could always make it bigger I can make the circle so big that it can go all the way down there to the mountains it could probably reach over there to the other Islands it's really unlimited and I probably will do that for a Future video just to like have fun with stuff but other than that though that's how you guys can install this mod super easy and as far as I know I had no problems with it it does not cause any
