differences between flying during the day compared to nighttime during the day it's a lot easier to see terrain and obstructions and the weather outside that you're gonna face out the windows for me I enjoy flying at night usually the air is a lot more stable and smooth there's also you can usually see the other air traffic around you a lot easier with the blinking lights that they have on some of the things that is not ideal at night is when it's a dark night with no moon it's hard to see when you're gonna be going in through bad weather to see the different build ups it's hard to see it I usually dim the cockpit lights as dark as I can get them and still be able to see everything good enough so that way you get better visibility out the windows some of the toughest scariest flights that have ever have done is that night with bad thunderstorms everywhere and you're just picking your way through the storms with your onboard radar your NEXRAD and also just looking out the windows trying to see where the Lightning is Miami and when you see all the lightning you know don't go into that area were a 5-1 thing go Bravo my number three zero zero seven so the main thing one
