sometimes plans changed and boy oshkosh that sure happens today it's wednesday we're meant to leave on friday terrible thunderstorms are coming in tonight possible tornadoes hail it's going to be a mess we're making an emergency diversion we're getting true foxtrot out of oshkosh and flying here somewhere safe come on board let's go [Music] well welcome board everyone it's uh quite the unique flight we're doing a evacuation flight from here in oshkosh due to the weather coming in some crazy storms and hail and stuff so it's not gonna be a lot of talking on this flight just because it's gonna have to pay a lot of attention to what's going on outside since we're vfr but hope you enjoy the flight and uh yeah okay [Music] we got our vford in the window so the ground crew know that we are vfr and departing vfr we do have our no tam on our ipad so we are all good on that front and uh yeah traffic traffic okay we'll start number one and use the fuel got into good ignition [Music] runway uh two seven with the meter take up data 92 94 106 130 right check flaps and altimeter all right all right stay very vigilant here on the taxi tax lights coming on here we go all right [Music] down trims one two three times are set crew breathing here at oshkosh really if there's any issues emergencies uh we're gonna go somewhere else we'll probably head to uh fond du lac somewhere a little take off all right so now we're just waiting you can see so many airplanes everywhere blue and white high wing left side runway two seven light up and weight that is a big airplane didn't do that oh number one six uniform five when they give you an instruction like a takeoff punch it's busy see there's huge thunderstorms coming in uh hail tornado warnings it's crazy um so we're just we're not going to take a chance with the beautiful twirling fox getting injured so we're always number one priority is safety and making sure she's in uh 100 safe so we're flying around to uh waukesha actually have a bunch of buddies who are flying out as well departure seven zero three arriving at 1800 beautiful on the south side runway two seven seven takeoff whitetail craft runway two seven live weight on the right side all right the cameras are overheating so uh hopefully the audio is still going to come through it's uh it's very hot and i got to figure out a new solution for my gopro 4. it's uh this is uh not good so sorry for no wing view on this departure but we got a couple uh outside views never a dull moment when you're a youtuber i guess especially at oshkosh thunderstorms hail and camera issues what you gonna do we'll be ready go level change straight to my power and we're pitching over capturing 1300 feet looking for traffic which will keep the landing light on more lights the better all right so we're going to maintain 1300 feet until we're clear of the delta and then we're going to make our way keep a turn coming here stay there wow this is all visual flight rules we're just visually flying here looking for birds especially down low here in wisconsin all right until we're clear of the delta then we're going to start the climb all aircraft waiting to depart we to look up to 3 000 feet for now i'm gonna split between the two deltas here traffic off the left no factor that turn coming around it's hazy so it's kind of hard to tell where the clouds are so that's why it's better obviously it's better to be safe than sorry feet all right so we're gonna go over lake winnebago and then make our way down that way so we'll be there in 10 minutes or so it's super quick flight just uh always cool to really feel like you're doing some airmanship and fly on the airplane seven one victor oshkosh runway two seven line a point seven one victor two seven line up away if you're ready to go all right so we're gonna do here we're not gonna talk to anybody following or anything like that we're just gonna go uh vfr and then uh directly the red swift and the grass hold short of runway two seven trying to get out of the oshkosh airspace um because that's uh just a lot easier you don't have to worry about as much traffic especially in a jet a high performance jet just better to stay kind of out of out of everyone's way runway still keeping all my lights on i have to take off gears up collapse her up throttles well below climbing pressurizations dips coming up a tiny bit but really not doing much lights are good so yeah that's a vfr oshkosh departure uh this you can kind of see it's kind of intense going on but it's uh now we're just making our way uh to the uh which is actually a control tower during oshkosh and then and uh yeah that's that and then we go on the ipad here cherokee south side runway two seven a lot of points apply to two cups you guys are cleared for takeoff have a good fight waukesha and we're in business 350 direct and a jet right now we're we're doing about 243 knots indicated burning 610 pounds of jedi aside so all aircraft for floor aircraft ahead two seven zero to three sixer at the departure end had to blow one thousand three hundred until you clear the class delta airspace use caution for a rival aircraft over the railroad tracks on their way to the downwards for only two seven okay so now we're gonna do here switching over all our stuff now start getting edis south side i got one sometimes
