the plane to wichita it's having its annual inspection crazy how it's been a year but uh it's gonna be down for about 10 days um which should be good hopefully get some behind-the-scenes kind of pictures and some video for the uh the flight down maybe we'll film the flight back after annual so kind of show everyone kind of behind the scenes of what it's like um doing an annual inspection so it'll be kind of cool it's been it's been really interesting to see uh you know we use camp systems which is our maintenance tracking software and they do a great job and it's cool to see you you can pick on the individual uh you know docs which is what it's called the inspection documents 1 000 to go of what they're actually going to be doing and it's really interesting to see the work that goes in to an annual especially on the jet right it's different on a piston when uh you know you do an oil change zero [Applause] um so it's you know rather than placing a cylinder you're doing a lot of different things so you know you have heat exchangers and all sorts of crazy stuff you're doing so it's been interesting to go on camp and look at the different docks that are due and what they do again different service bulletin that's all laid out really really well on uh on their website and also on this email that we get from camp which kind of shows everything that's due kind of three months in advance so it's very very cool they also do some really some other cool stuff like engine monitoring so it shows if you're exceeding temperatures and different zones of the engine like it's really advanced stuff um so we'll be showing you some of that in future videos so yes that's out for ten days and then once the plane comes back flying really begins it's gonna be it's gonna be good what's not good is we already have a 79 headwind at 17 000 feet all right take a picture just too beautiful all the way up to uh uniform put that on instagram you guys who are on instagram i do have a very typical out of new york to get leveled off at 17 000 feet 15 or 17 for for a little bit so they can sequence us some traffic above us or below us and all that good stuff contact new york city now we're going to get the atis for chicago even though we're two hours out it'll give us a good picture of what's going on um so we'll go dietis which i'll show you guys this here so this is white plains so if we go here we'll go midway and we'll go normally just to depart your arrival it's normally the arrival one doesn't work so you got to hit the departure one but it's the same thing at uh it's supposed to get a little bit um but we'll see what happens eighteen thousand feet with standards there will be a final okay uh we'll show thirty four five all right and that is after takeoffs completed all right we're gonna turn the cameras off a little bit and we'll talk to everyone on the arrival into midway it's going to get pretty boring over pennsylvania and ohio but it will get pretty exciting once we head to midway so we'll talk to one a little bit all right we are back in a really nice smooth flight so far just about to get all our checklist items down we got our default gone uh we're gonna put uh our windshield bleeds on just for a couple minutes here the the dew point spread uh temp dew punch but it's not it's pretty large but just to make sure we don't fog up or put that on here basically what that does it just shoots out hot air outside so there's about a bunch of different little nozzles that will shoot hot bleed air onto the windshield so that's good we got defog on also uh we're coming in on the uh the pangy three arrival um we've been clear direct uh haley for now and then a pilot suggestion to eleven thousand feet so we got eleven thousand feet in we got v nav working we got the internet on which we're going to turn off here now and uh yeah so that's looking good again we'll expect uh hayley at 6000 again we've been given a discretion to 11 for right now they're landing two two left so haley then german's above four linen and then steer and that old checks here in the box also that all looks good to me get the latest atheists right now it's got before landings to go so i know some of you have been putting comments about you know citation and the new microsoft flight simulator which is uh pretty insanely cool uh i've i purchased it been flying quite a bit on my twitch stream and uh it's it's spectacular they got a cj4 they have a citation longitude a king air a bunch of cool airplanes and uh it's been it's been a lot of fun to stream that the cj4 needs a little bit of work to get it more realistic but i'm sure they're going to keep updating that but it's been a lot of excitement about the flight simulation community and and uh it's been really really cool yeah i've been flight been flight 7 since i was like six or like yeah something crazy like that it's been a real passion of mine and being able to stream on twitch and then you know go now fly the new sim it's uh it's a big big difference compared to the the old stuff going back to 1833 [Music] 3183 thank you yeah i know i'm addicted to and i'll get home and i want to go flights in front of my computer flying fake airplanes i think that's when you know it's you're pretty much addicted so it's been it's been a lot of that recently just been good but it's good the uh the arrival on there for now and then we'll switch it over to the approach here in a little bit i'll make that approach on to uh make that turn we should see downtown chicago off the right there should be about a million boats down there maybe not a million this year but maybe i was there last weekend um citation kevin and citation dad and stuff guys we made that approach 50 or 60 votes out there it was crazy it was absolutely insane so i'm sure labor day weekend we'll see a bunch more out there see our buddy brian out there too he said it was lima a little gusty down there but
