the bloke is a four-wheel driver through and through he was going to miss this for anything these throw employment recovery gear in the project GU driven down to the spirit of tasmania and headed for any honor I played it right now brento is as happy as a dog with two layers what sit down oh look like now Brent oh did manage to find that gun mechanic to be a sport not the physical need one right he's grabbed Andrew from bare medieval and deeply chip and he's our type of mechanic to the down in the mud hands-on condom mechanic who just loves wheeling his jutsu welcome aboard night what this thing's like this is an absolute weapon introducing the zero dollars what our little weapon a by selling a bunch of stuff that we had lying around before will drive action headquarters including some old tires and I'll do it by cab Renault and some four-wheel drive parts we managed to scrounge up enough cash to pay for the Zook hence the name zero dollars because it didn't really cost us anything of course we've thrown a few parts unlock some flash new spotlights we've got a cool new snorkel on there and a UHF but look otherwise she's pretty much ready to roll we've got big plans for this little bus to starting right here in the south of tezi we're taking the Zook all the way to the Cape fire every tough track wicked campsite and epic location in between but I guess every trip has to start somewhere in for us it's Bruny Island right down here in the south of Tasmania I love this spot reminds me of home a little bit tell you what though we are in for one heck of an adventure we're taking the Zook on its very first trip through some of the toughest tracks Tasmania has got to offer I'm absolutely amped these blokes are amped if I can just get them to stop talking we'll jump in and get going come on you blokes come on let's go let's get out of here Bruny Island is just off the coast of Kettering in the south of tezi this trip will be heading to tackle some tracks in the hills behind Adventure Bay before rolling out the swags for the night at cloudy bay right on the coast from there we head back to the mainland to trek up into the Margate planes above the little town of Snug before pushing even further south past you and will into the wilds of the weld River region not free learn how to drive again Mike oh yeah she's all getting out of this just pretty gaudy but it's a bit of a squeeze for two blokes in a $0 ook I've got to say she was never built for comfort but I'll tell you what this is just so much fun now you got up here a little bit like I did you know supposed to go all right oh when all else fails can have the winter equipment I think this tells the story right here there's an actual pathway coming through the bush leaning for this tree which has got obvious signs in it and it's been used as an anchor point more than just one right we're going to do like the locals and use it again hey we're all hooked up here you've got the biggest anchor point I've ever seen the trees will get many attract before so it's pretty much all you make your angles bit wonky there but should be right that you've got their drain bugs that last but now I need the mod cons like getting 50 which is a tough cookie dough right now thirty seconds of the Dominator and the recovery vehicle is ready for Julie again I will hopefully the diagnose that platform three two driver let's have a look smart move having seen just how much trouble that bulk old gave us Andrey picked a much consolation to whine and he still squeaky clean I want to say we push on although my help [Music] Bernie Island has some of the toughest tracks you'll find but it's also got some of the best scenery nods the beaches have to be seen to be believed in the bays are just mind-blowing once you make it out of the mud and gain some elevation the views over bruny island are simply breathtaking well folks this right here is mount Mandara the map man gonna look out looking out over a truly spectacular view but what's so very special for me is that that bit of water down there it's called the d'entre Casto channel now if anyone's done any traveling around Australia especially to the southwest corner of WI you'll know that the predominant national park down there is called don't request Oh National Park in fact I live right near to it and it's no coincidence they have both named after exactly the same person look if you ever get down to Tazi Bernie Oliver come up here to mount Mount garner and check out the d'entre Gaston Channel and I'm going to say it ever get down to Southwest w8 go and check out the dr. Castillo National Park both equally spectacular that viewpoint took us all by surprise because not five minutes later we were back into the thick of it and about to tackle one of the more notorious bits of broody and trust me it's not a where near as specky as that view I I was on the marquee night oh boy I see it looks like they'll bang him dude ha ha ha I'm going to land on you if we go over have a look at the angle the little look is on at least I'm up here looking the idea here is to try and straddle that suit swallowing rubber fly on a right if you slip in there it's a game over I
