So I Made A Call...This Jeep Rescues Me

[Music] are you kidding me so we got a call for a razor i think it's got a broken tie rod out to the hurricane sand dunes that's about all we know about it the customer says it's in the sand dunes they sent me a pin but the pen is just a generic one that puts it over like in washington city so we're just going to drive around see if we can find it sounds good to me that's a nice sunny day here it's supposed to get up to like 65 or so today so this is our 73rd recovery at the winter 4x4 jamboree in just two days [Music] so the customer sent me a pin last night he didn't really describe where in the dunes the razer was but he did he just says it's at the bottom of the dude's kind of in the flat so and from that i know he's in the main dune area but i figured we could come out and find it because the dune area is not that big but look at this we just rode right up here we're at the top of the world we looked off to our left and there it is at the very least [Music] i would say that's just about perfect you got something good to hook onto there you need a soft shackle this is metal so we could just hook it to this [Music] so this is the day it's been a busy couple days historically we don't do very much work on these like the 4x4 jamborees because there's so much there's so many people out here to help because people come from all over the united states to attend the event but with the side by sides and more of this stuff i guess we're going gonna be busy [Music] that's the problem [Music] so what happens if we do that we've done we've done worse than that [Music] all right let's see [Music] [Music] starting [Music] i'm gonna run up here and show you guys how they wrecked that this is where they crested right where you see that ripple they jumped looks like they hit hit right here these divots [Music] what do you think more fans is that camera gonna ride what do you think matt's gonna take it [Music] out usually i hit this with more speed but it's kind of a lazy sunday morning so we're kind of taking it easy plus we've been on the trail and we've been out rescuing people like non-stop for the last 36 hours so we've just kind of been taking it easy this morning it's nice and uh it just bit it just bit us in the butt [Music] are you kidding me [Music] will he make it up the hill oh there's a lot of pressure against that hey matt they want to know if you want some help yeah we're kind of playing okay i can always back down and hit it with a little bit more speed and now we're just kind of saying can i can i crawl this thing forward okay okay well you just pulled me i'll hook up my rope [Music] [Music] it made it [Music] well awesome i appreciate it so you guys remember from the past videos that we've done that there was a little tunnel under the road here to get from the dune area to the lake area sand hollow state park and it was low it was short so they put in a much bigger nicer one recently and now we can get through it without any trouble with razors on the trailer how's it going [Music] yeah so did it go over yeah so that's the top damage is from that wreck yeah nobody got hurt though right yeah everybody was good we can do about that so we got out there and got it found and there's a small chance we uh participated in some sort of a shenanigan on the way back rudy's not too happy about it he says i should have backed out of it that's what i should have done if i was out just be nice to him in the comments yes yeah don't don't shrink me in the comments if uh if there wasn't anybody around i wouldn't have pushed it as far as i did i'd have just backed down and did it again yeah it's a pretty great day nice weather thanks for watching
