We Rescue A Jeep Stuck 12 Hours In A Snowdrift

so we got a call for a lexus that is stuck out of the hurricane sand dunes they said they're close to zen rock at least that's the pin they sent me so we're heading out there to get it sure are if you want to reference on this video it is christmas eve and we are missing a party to go save these people so i hope you enjoy this so which way are we going are we going out to sky ranch or through sand hollow i don't know exactly where zed rock is you've got 200 yards to the side i don't know 100 yards you know where it is it's right where you dump onto the dunes from sky ranch like that exact second you hit the dunes if you hit the dunes and climb on some rocks from sky ranch that's the zen rocks you're climbing on okay um this way it is looks like we're going through sand hollow okay i need a real weather report rudy oh real weather yeah what's the temperature um sweater weather i don't know what temperature that is i'm gonna say it's 58 degrees how close that look i want to guess probably 15 celsius it's 46 degrees oh i was way off 46 degrees fahrenheit celsius conversion coming soon there's a little bit of clouds it's mostly clear and low humidity as usual then the words of ed we'll get them out all right we are on the dunes and that's zen rock up there and we're driving right to him right now those are steep dunes man the wind has packed these up quite steep [Music] stay out there and film that holy smoke all right how are you guys doing bad bad you're just out driving around we've stuck here for a few hours it sucks a little bit stuck just a little bit of christmas eve adventures yeah nice to see you guys yeah we're glad to help okay rudy i think we can get you down on this just drop you down on this real careful probably get you turned and go up right there okay so go ahead and put it in drive you have a traction control button easily accessible right see if you can give it a tiny bit of gas while cranking the wheels hard to the left yep hard left is that all you got i'm good enough okay [Music] uh [Music] [Music] that wasn't too bad okay you're okay from here i got your way out yeah okay that wasn't too bad was it thank you guys okay thank you bye okay bye have a nice day we forgot to give you a shirt [Music] what size for both sides okay all right thank you thank you so that thing was really stuck holy smokes after that after a couple pulls it was still sucked into the frame yeah i was being pretty gentle at first but i think i don't think there's any sand under any of that no weight on any of the tires no way every time i tried to help like when we finished i had to put my foot on the brake to keep the tires from just spinning in air yeah so we got him out of there they've got it getting stuck so we got a call for a a jeep compass that's stuck in the snow up here on kolob mountain it's actually probably a little bit further up to canara mountain they're on the main road so we're gonna head up there and see if we can get them out we've got rudy behind us uh just giving us a little bit of backup so there's less of a chance of us spending the night up there we were told that they've been there since 8 a.m this morning so i bet they're gonna be excited to see us uh we haven't had a call for almost a week so i decided to take the night off and go on a date and we got a call coming so we're heading up to collab right now we're probably a couple minutes behind him but uh now you decided to show up caught you guys there's not as much snow out there as i was expecting i wonder if they're in a drift or something they can get some nasty drifts this way i don't know that's them so excited please we've been here for 12 hours we don't have water do any of you have water yes i will get you water oh my god i am so hungry sorry when you called we were in the middle of the sand dunes so we couldn't come exactly straight away at least you came because no one in 12 hours has gone came down this road no one [Music] oh fine i give up i haven't got to play in the snow a lot this year so that's what that was that's what that was you really need to go about two feet i know whoa [Applause] i'm gonna let you do it rudy let me do what i'm gonna let you pull it out we'll let you rig it up how about that what we got here oh nothing good yep that makes sense what do you want just go ahead and put it in reverse okay you don't need to give it any gas at all all right he's just going to pull you up for that road okay okay just give it a tiny bit of gas get your parking okay okay go ahead and put it in park we'll just we'll just catch up to you laverth so just follow us down yeah we don't know where we're going we're just gonna follow you out so like i was thinking they got into a snow drift up there there's no snow on the road but there's a place there where it piles up really deep and they just drove right into it so oh and then i did two so i had to be rescued it was a double rescue tonight yeah you saw that snow was deep enough to stop this thing which is pretty capable much much more capable than a jeep compass we coming from tucson arizona trying to make it to virginia to surprise my mom for the holidays oh this is the move right now yeah yeah all of hearth's love is here sweet sorry john came in fantastic time well is there anything you want to tell the world listen to the signs listen if it says clothes for snow and all that listen to it don't try to be adventurous like us because we overestimate overestimated or we underestimated the snow for sure all right thank you thank you
