Toyota and Jeep join forces to save the Wildcat!!

so we got a call for a side-by-side that's stuck down in a canyon near Mount Carmel Utah so we're heading out the Freightliner we've got the Jeep and the off-road trailer in tow my buddy Paul is going to be meeting us out there he's familiar with the area he's going to be helping with the recovery we got Randy with us 40 we're gonna go see if we can do this hey we're running a little early [Music] okay I knew Paul would be early so we're gonna pull over right here and unload [Music] oh he's already locked it in the hubs right now that means it's not gonna take long to get into some good stuff Oh gonna go pro huh so can you tell us about where this is oh it's about eight miles from here okay about eight miles up is it in the washed it's drop-off it's in a wash there's the ledge up there we gotta get through yeah and then a steep sand hill yeah power-steering winds are the Sun locked up right take that ledge and of course we're on the other side of it yep all right okay well we'll follow you in there if I to cool down if I do it yeah I'll pull the fuse boxes off um I just have a blown fuse I don't know let's try a couple things yeah we're gonna exhaust all the easy options we'll start with the easy yeah until we've until we finally find something little yeah 60 miles that's a full tank of fuel [Music] in them for me folks two miles per gallon or what we're not getting much more than two miles per gallon right now this exact second so Paul saying this is this trail gets pretty tight they say they're up here about eight miles so that's pretty good Drive you see Paul back there behind us in his straight axe Toyota he did a little segment on his YouTube channel for that we put a link in the description [Music] I'm gonna go out on the limb here and bet there's not been too many trailers pulled back in [Music] although my trailer is doing some trail business [Music] [Music] well so far polls right this is gonna be a difficult trail and he thinks we can do it so you're meeting both of those criteria at the moment for all of us down there so I'm just gonna park here okay I'm just gonna ease off there unless you tell me not to no I think you're good we can we can get running at the moment if you will watch that in there and make sure I don't I've got a thing that'll stop you from doing that where did I just set that strapping her all right here all right [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] well we made it through the easy part and then we made it through the hard part so all we got to do is make it through the rest of it well that was a hard climb that was like climbing up the sand chute except for there was no run up no run at the bottom stolen it forgive me stun because it's working [Music] the Oprah just became the hindrance around that rock [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you might have got lucky and drove that out of there you could force it past the part that it was locking but it was it took a lot of pressure that would have been a pretty high risk it you got your steering malfunctioning and you're on roads like this I think it was the right call to Thomas come get it out well they couldn't even get it to turn Hawken either until it hit the rock and then in turn I was putting a lot into it let's just say that yeah we can driving around in circles fell we get it lined up right [Music] well we're gonna head up here to Paul's house he's got some parts for me for that eight lug conversion that I'm doing on my Jeep so I've I brought the Jeep out a week ago to have Paul help me work it on it and we got the steering the exhaust and we did some some of the link stuff on the rear end found out that my geometry was way off but I had to fix that but we ran out of time to do it here anyway I'm gonna put a link in here to Paul's channel it's pretty cool fabrication channel and you're gonna see my Jeep on his channel a little bit because I haven't helped me do stuff look for that in the link and look for more videos to come so we got there it was in a tight spot we were able to kind of get it out of there the steering was definitely messed up but we were able to work around that get it loaded up [Music]
