Slick Tricks in Mario Galaxy

these planets right here are like my favorite in the game I love those ones I spent ages just standing on those just cuz I liked the way it felt and a little like water orbs around them my feet is this way get to it yeah I can just get to it you're supposed to like get the parts and make the Polestar but you just get there yeah that's right gray sequence breaker fruit that's me you got me okay expecting it that way everything is fine look at that normally you're supposed to go over there little teeny tiny secret planet secret bouncy zone I mean you knew about this oh I'd be willing to bet not a lot please no it's just gonna zoom off gonna be of this it almost I almost still died it actually worked though literal like slickest thing in the universe skating backwards dabbing over and over again could you ever dream of being as slick as Mario there's not really much of a reason for me to do that just make up your mind game just make up your mind I remember hold on let me try to I couldn't see I couldn't see let's just see if I can like float forever here so I found a way to get out of bounds in Mario Galaxy and I think I'm gonna start just exploring all sorts of glitches look at this so this is in the freeze flame galaxy I got on the edge of this like dirt planet so yeah now I'm up here and the collision is all [ __ ] and there's like weird things happen with like gravity if you like [ __ ] around like it's really weird they didn't like program the outside of its to be like walkable okay now in water hey let me out actually this is not good oh [ __ ] okay well I guess I'll have to do the trick again let me you know this is perfect that's it yeah thought I could get across some of it Scout about me bath so there's a way to get those like slippery slopes that you're not supposed to be able to get up there's like a specific way to like input the controls to make it so that you can spin again basically though that's how I did it the first time basically okay there's also icy water down here oh my god I'm gonna [ __ ] I'm gonna die yeah yeah yeah I know what's happening now oh it's all making sense now at this point [ __ ] stop doing that I'm gonna have motion sickness Mario stop okay alright I guess we're just in [ __ ] limbo forever um I can't I seriously can't move wasn't that one where you can swim in the loop-d-loop galaxy players must gonna loop these swoop galaxies oh [ __ ] no this is I'm in the wrong place this is the loop-de-loop galaxy I should have looked at more of these I there were a few where I was like oh that looks interesting and then I just look didn't get them I need to spin near a certain metal bulge in the planet a certain little metal bulge so which metal bowls do I need to there's a lot of metal bulges on this planet but it says like specifically during the purple coin mission watch never be like zero videos of this being done sorry I have to for my nose I there was like something in my nose it's just you ever get that like it's just hanging out in there you know it's like no I don't want to come out no I don't want to go in I'll just sort of move around every time you breathe no it's fine don't worry about me no I'll just move around every time you breathe yeah there's literally like no videos of this being done it just says like the guide literally just says a certain metal bulge just just a certain one you know which one's the certain one right immediately I don't need to explain in this guide it's not strictly speaking a good it's like that's it this is this doesn't give me anything I don't even know if I'm close to doing this correctly it's probably like a specific like polygon that you have to stand on [Music] this this sucks I have no idea how to do this like this list might as well not even exists because it gives me zero information but how to do it I'm just spinning into bulges it's just frustrating because I bet it's possible I bet it's possible the person who just wanted to inform the world about it just I guess didn't want to inform the world about it I can swim in the Kin this galaxy if I do this right I have no idea if I'm gonna be able to do it right I'm just assuming this is how you do it it's not even close I wonder if I can go up and like touch the manta ray and then get on top no no no no no no no no you wanna bet this is also some [ __ ] the must be there must be another place to do this okay so you do it on the big penguin NPC I think which let's before we do any of this let's just read out with the Mario wiki the Mario shiki for [ __ ] wiki says I actually used to contribute the Mario and II not even joking players must go to loop-de-loop galaxy and be next to a character it would be so easy to say the big penguin just a character just pick anyone oh and then you have to land on the big shine sprite thing this is the guide completely for the wiki completely neglects to mention yeah those you missed the beginning apparently when you exit the game you lose all of your lives which I didn't know while the camera was really enough alone Jesus [Music] when on the observatory there's a certain galaxy and you can do a glitch that might as well be what they wrote on the wiki and it's not an intended mechanic oh it listen ups do the [ __ ] star let's get this out of the way [Music] yeah turns out I just had to talk to him and then I'd let me let me go right in yeah first try everybody surprised yeah land on it you piece of garbage oh I hate that the camera spins around at like the worst possible time under [ __ ] notes okay come on just land on it on top of it you piece of [ __ ] and of course I can't change the camera of course I mean I don't think I can get bumped from this oh oh oh oh the cameras just so good the cameras just being [ __ ] delightful it literally is like GTA camera now it's just insane the camera is just insane now it's not even GTA camera it's just [ __ ] insane oh god I hate it I hate the camera I hate the camera oh that is the worst [ __ ] thing oh my god just make it [ __ ] like manageable bro like a fun idea shigera make the game [ __ ] like bearable oh [ __ ] surfer oh god that was star bits in there oh this is the one that you can triple jump to the planet I remember this holy [ __ ] I need to do this I don't even remember if this is the right place to do it but you can gabbu onto the lava planet and kill self there you [ __ ] go there you [ __ ] go how hard is that and now I get to die in an unintended way isn't that funny don't you like my funny joke they're not just long jump it's [ __ ] long jump to the center idiot game idiot game here we [ __ ] are I've been waiting all game to do this you crouch and you go in this door that's all it is and you can go inside oh god oh god [Music] there we go in the house baby call me Corey cuz I'm in the house and I always thought it was cool that there's like his rafters in this house for some reason why are there [ __ ] rafters it doesn't make sense but here we are this glitch only works in the deep dark galaxy the player and this is from the wiki so it's probably missing like half or more of the instructions the player must enter the canyon and fire into a certain red section on the beach umbrella I can barely [ __ ] see it oh it's gonna be more this I'm looking up a video deep dark galaxy glitch I found a video of it oh my god it's only 52 seconds long holy [ __ ] there's no intro I'm coming I'm coming this is what the the wiki got wrong is you don't fire it at the umbrella at all oh my god there he goes he's pumpkin that was a straight-up coke and nothing else all right let's go let's go this one's just like the king caliente won't accept I don't die when this one happens like that exactly like that [ __ ] first drop maybe second try it could be a negligible amount of tries make legs a really cool-looking boss I never realized you can walk right on the eyes actually yeah it's got pupils to writing it's like eye cleavage I like this now Mario will fall to his death Oh God yeah okay this is pretty cool I mean I it's it's really just walking around on this deactivated boss I think the the website said that you can reactivate the cutscene them by going and standing where you're supposed to land see ah right here yes swimming in here is real jank I found out there is in fact a ground here that you like bump into and when you bump into it shigeru miyamoto comes to your house and kills you because the controls get totally [ __ ] up like I don't know I can't like when you're touching that wall for whatever reason the controls just go absolutely bonkers hold on wait wasn't there there was a thing about how I can make the mining toad sad whenever wherever the bank toad is found when he is mining if the player enters first person view and fires a starve it at him he will frown until the level is exited or if the player uses a spin okay look at how happy he is oh I need to cure him of this awful thing look at that face oh he's back to normal oh my boys happy again I do have I do know my like technique for getting up slippery slopes now I wonder if I can do this entire volcano it's really tricky I'm at a weird angle for it should I try adjusting the camera no no we fell off Oh God and I can't I can't adjust the camera there [ __ ] me man was a good attendance no that wasn't a solid thing okay and look at Shammi and uh [ __ ] I think you can go I seem to remember you can actually skip part of this level oh [ __ ] no I grazed the tree just gonna work no bulk okay I didn't do it anymore it was just like a wall yeah no way right oh look at that they keep doing that that's the how the gravity works [ __ ] off just put a wall there let's put a damn wall there don't give me hope you've got to know when the moment is right without thinking I hate these [ __ ] rabbits so much does anybody like these rabbits it just it has anybody ever enjoyed one of these missions in Mario 64 Galaxie anything has anybody ever got any sort of enjoyment from this whatsoever I doubt it very much it's just [ __ ] annoying oh what a miserable [ __ ] star oh what a miserable [ __ ] star oh what a miserable [ __ ] star oh what a miserable [ __ ] star it isn't fun that I mentioned that star was pretty bad y'all ever notice that when you switched to first person camera mario becomes like a horrific no outlines no detail on his textures demon with like soulless white eyes employed [Music] actually what if there's purple coins inside that there might be purple coins in yeah there are I'm glad I did that glad I checked hey Gil bored check this out I've got inside little mushroom spaceship look at this I got in and there's no way out of this by the way there's only one way out let's go to the malt shop and it's a little boundary break moment it's fully modeled it's got little buttons for the little toads today with their little toad hands I kind of want to show you guys this happening but it also took me a ton of tries to get it to work so all it is let's see if I can get it first try you just long jump there there's just a precise long jump that you have to do it like you knock off of the red ship into the yellow one okay I'm really I'm really uh I really am out I'm out thank you so much I believe that cool Mario then I say I knew I got a guy it's right over here right you step right inside there and chugga [ __ ] choo choo oh that little lad I think it's just a smaller version of the Train of the very beginning a level Marquez just a little bit of Uncas [Music] I thought he was done throwing rocks okay I thought that was his last rock god dammit I thought he had one less rock so I got to go to the purple coin mission although that's probably not necessary at all he's gotta go to this planet and I have to hit a certain metal bulge come on let me do it chuggaaconroy did it as Luigi so I don't know oh god the wiki says you can do it as Mario or Luigi but this is that really true what if it was just a freak occurrence Oh God some like sub-pixel position [ __ ] happened this certain metal bulge is not being very receptive you're supposed to spin and hit it like right in the spot that's all I know but guys chuggaaconroy did it as Luigi so I have no idea and this is like the only video proof of it working ever that I found Yahoo Yahoo Yahoo Yahoo Yahoo Jack and Yahoo know if I ever do the Luigi quest I'll check it out what a letdown you know there how about the the space joke I want to show you guys the getting inside the shroom ship falling through the hill ooh deep dark galaxy that looks kind of interesting I'll check that one out next right after I nail this first try literal first try next glitch let's go easy glitch get me a more difficult one all right so all it says here is in deep dark galaxy the player needs to approach the hill closest to the starting point so I'm assuming just the first star Mario needs to backflip onto the hill and use the slope climbing glitch when mario reaches a certain point on the hill a certain point that keeps saying that word certain you'll fall through it and either die or land in a body of water outside the normally accessible area there's there's no like video evidence or anything I think this must be it he do the slidin though he is sliding stop stop what the [ __ ] oh this is such a frustrating glitch to work with trying to get it to happen more than like five times in a row is it's hard it's hard I don't even know if this is the right spot why doesn't it work why doesn't it work sometimes I don't think that's fair just work oh this is so frustrating it's always it's right near the edge it's work work and work and just work please please oh there's an invisible wall there's an invisible wall listen if it's bother there's an invisible wall that I'm sitting back down there's an invisible wall there if only this if only the person who wrote this article could have spared like three more descriptive words a certain point give me a picture there's another glitch to get out of bounds in this area apparently let me explore this a little further that's the good [ __ ] I can't get the camera down there sadly see the far down does this rabbit hole go okay all right that's good well I didn't find that I didn't end up where I wanted to go but I ended up where I needed to be under the [ __ ] ground there's a big skip that you can do on bubble breeze go to the second half of bubble breeze Galaxy Mario slash Luigi should backflip onto the rocks let me just I mean look at this area the rocks just back jump on to the rocks guys you know the rocks there you are but that's easy that shit's easy Wow I should have done that in my playthrough well yeah [Music]
