Rocket League pros still trying to guess ranks

you know this could be literally anyone right like that could be my dad like it could be your dad yeah a little nervous I'm not familiar with like lower ranks at all you know you should be nervous very ready I'm gonna guess all of them right Wow how many people have guessed everything right I mean to refer what about them mr. ball crunching that's why I don't watch you okay goddamn show before expect somebody that hit something on him I mean it's his speed of play is like average he's waiting he's waiting here so he's not ball chasing that's a good sign as well it's either platinum or diamond no matter like a hundred percent I know it that his car is around three tons as we speak that area every hit like all healthy good they could get right there oh I was a shot that's a good shot that that's that's a bear whoa it's actually a good shoot I'll be good for once like this play is actually like solid you know there's not like a ton of mistakes the mistakes are actually just like slow reactions to other people so I think I'm gonna go with diamond diamond three he's not supersonic 24/7 but like he's not going like super slowly they're like it's a good speed I mean considering he could sword Ariel he's probably down to I have friends in platinum I have friends in gold so like I think he's better than them but not like a lot better you know diamond diamond three pipe last little diamond me know this player is diamond diamond one it was very slow I'll say gold three Wow went way down yeah that's probably one but they're back you guessed diamond one and and that was a camera settings little bomb with the rat rods just going off the car he's using rat rod wheels so that's not really a good sign for him in terms of I could tell he's a newer player because using those wheels signal jump Ariel interesting I haven't seen that since I've played flight in LCS okay this is not jump or daimond or that I'm seeing a very big lack of air roll already in almost every player decent dribble but Oh big double commit I don't think this guy has used power slide yet so that is a yeah he has not used arrow leaders okay okay this this guy's low this guy's lower than the last one hundred percent this has to be I don't think it's bronze but I think it I don't know if it's silver gold it might be golden yeah this guy is like this guy has to be like silver to gold in my opinion like I did not know where he was on the real silver three I'm gonna guess silver three he for an aerial so that's like usually bronze players can't even go for aerials honestly I'm gonna say super 3 actually I think I'm gonna go gold gold - platinum - that was worse last one okay wait wait let me just get this straight you said that was worse than the first guy but you think he's higher ranked yeah because you will never have the same bracket twice in a row that's true I haven't one step ahead of you always do an attack you are ranked guessing so you guessed silver three for this guy and this guy was a gold one again only one rank I did look at me go actually okay okay the guest was flat - that was a gold one oh I actually had a lot of faith too much too much faith in that man I did I did that was a gold one so actually that was worse than what he said all right if this is flakes I'm nobody plays over what in the world is that car this dude is using a ripper I used to main this car for a week I did as well yeah awesome thumbs this guy's this guy's looking a little better than the other to kick off immediately in arrow flip reset wait bro is this plagues okay okay well okay people are already tried to flip yourself out there this is higher ranks hundred percent just by the movement of this guy you can you can just tell positioning spider know why he went for boost there but he's leaving the ball okay very patient player to that I I think I've seen enough I I think honestly I'm gonna guess that early I like the early guesses we've seen a couple on this show before doesn't usually backfires hopefully not that was I was thinking if this would be flakes because of the river loves the corner of this even though he already has like he already has like 80 boost he's going for corner boost though so this is somewhat high level the pace of the game people trying to deflate presets I don't know what that is I can also look at his teammates too because that guy did a pretty good flick they're usually people can't really flick like that below like plot okay it's going for an irritable okay it's definitely somewhere in the champs but where is an interesting one oh okay I was actually nice it's good play I'd say this is close to grant shop I feel like this is even either champion to or champion three I'm gonna say I'm gonna say tempted to champ one that's a bit player for FC Barcelona it's cuz he plays like a ones player I watch a stream to Li almost every day so it's embarrassing I got a fennec with a very zoomed in camera oh my his car is giving me slight seizures out there I just no regard for his teammate they both this fall now I didn't give up whoa whoa this is what we deal with this is what you deal with this guy this guy's playing a bit slower rotate he's he doesn't know where to go next right and he's it's like he doesn't want the ball oh now he's going I don't know how he landed like that to this day it looked like he landed on something but it was like watching my brother play I think what rank is your brother grand champ Oh big okay this guy's given me a diamond 3 vibe after watching that I want to pick Platt to see drip-free I didn't know I think he's a gold player called to this tackle - that is probably a gold one you said Platte - and this was a plat - yes that was a plat - dude that is what platinum looks like Oh trust me it could be a I used to play a lot of ones but I don't might play a whole lot anymore this is either gonna be impossible or the easiest thing ever let's see all right this guy is flipping out like it's flipping so far definitely okay this guy's definitely the best player of the bunch I think okay what is that a guy playing in these cars he's playing versus a hotshot okay there's a hotshot on the other team but I don't think it matters this is a decent level Lobby yes guys looking a little look not bad definitely above diamond somewhere somewhere in that range he is a ones player though to throw me off so he uses air all right okay gotta be I'm gonna get someone in the Champs then but below grand champ for sure smoke them blow those virgin it's at least champ 1v1 right now okay this is not nowhere near champ 11 does not flip whatsoever which is normal for one splitter so it's fine oh na you okay and you noticed also I'm gonna say champ 1 even though I didn't see him do a single aerial I'm gonna go out on a limb and say champ 1 there's one thing I would assume that this guy's either diamond 1 or platinum 3 I think I'm gonna say platinum 3 - the ball control was really good and the other player also tried to go in the air a lot and was like really pushing to the walls aggressively and the kick offs are both really good I'm able to go champ 3 you guess flat three unfortunately this is a champ one in once really that was a champ one yes sir nailed it I thought you're gonna tell me that they got that guy's like a grand champ no he didn't even Ariel once and you guys champ three so yeah I had a lot of respect for this Lobby but that was actually a champ 100 but that means you have a score of three and you are now the all-time leader and guess that rank oh let's go new world record yeah I started so well and it was pearly flakes but then I was like nah he doesn't fake enough I was either very oh yeah yeah you oh I got it you have to see the good side of the rocky league community that I don't yeah I could tell you're very jaded that was great doesn't say now it's fun commuters actually thanks for having me on how's the blasts [Music]

The comments on that video are so deluded. They all think because the D3 played slower and more calculated that makes him bad. He was solid and relatively consistent bar one aerial and rotated decently. Very obvious to anyone who understands the game he was at least mid diamond

I got to champ 1 without doing fast aerials. I knew how to do it, but committing to doing them frequently ment I'd mess them up and backflip. I was still fast in the aerials but once I properly learned the skill I immediately hit champ 2. So I'd say, that skill alone is worth 100 MMR.

I still use single jump aerials, I can do double jump aerials (and fast aerials)but sometimes I don't that much height and speed. What's wrong with using them?
