Playing in every rank from BRONZE to PRO level in one day (SSL edition)

[Music] it's been almost a year since i last played in every rank from bronze to pro level in one day and quite a bit has changed since then we now have a new rank above grand champion and with the new competitive season three just starting there's also been a few mmr changes in the ranks not to mention the player base is quicker more mechanical and just plain better than ever better at whiffing and blaming their teammates am i right now i'm against smurfing and boosting but since i'm only playing one game at each rank i figure any disruption i cause to other players will be extremely minor all the accounts were lended to me by members of the community as a rule for this challenge i have to use whatever cards and camera settings they have on by default to get a true experience of that rank i feel like my camera's about to go into the ground this is so low so let's see exactly what it's like to play one game in every rank let me know in the comments if the game i play in your rank accurately reflects what it's actually like there let's get started with bronze all right so i'm about to do bronze and it's making me do the tutorial okay let's see if i can mess this up hold down vibration but i'm going to keep that on because that's part of the bronze experience apparently all console players about to eat my shoe i'm saying wait i'm the shoe eater i'm i'm gonna be eating their shoes okay i'm saving a lot of replays apparently i'm not sure what i'm doing to to do that and i scored so apparently there are more ssls than there are bronzes so this is the rarest player base in the world so this is really special special experience few people get to see this though basically these players are better than ssls in a way oh yeah so the other thing is i have to blend in so that's me blending in no don't score on us oh no he's i don't i'm not too worried oh williams just yeah go off king yeah you got a gizmo and a strawberry topper oh i'm just sitting here actually you know what bronze would go for this that was an accident that was on purpose actually i think i think a bronzer just run into williams because he ran into me so oh i use powerslide therefore okay i i did this last time too i went a little too hard in bronze i think williams has a lot of potential as long as he doesn't keep ramming his teammates he should be making it to silver as well speaking of going on to silver [Music] another octane another brilliant car design silver so this is pretty much just bronze with i don't know more confidence if he knows left goes he does legend and that there's only console players in these ranks have you seen a pc player yet i don't know okay it's gold i just gotta do a front flip pick off got absolutely wrecked oh peep the gold air oh my you go for it i feel like i'm on ice i'm not gonna shoot because gold would not shoot right that's a powerful shot for a gold but look at his shot boom it gives me permission to rock the corner baby i see this convincing no everyone just forfeits after three goals like i gotta be more careful i gotta keep it within one or two goals or everyone's gonna forfeit maybe you'll be better in uh platinum [Music] now this guy has exquisite taste i got this got to be the best card design i've seen so far okay he likes to do free play and salty shores what does that tell you i don't know i don't mind these camera settings super low like i feel like my camera's about to go into the ground solo a lot of cy nets up in here oh no i queued the wrong did i keep the wrong server why am i cueing in sam i went to south america the ping this could be crazy i did not know this is gonna be part of the video it's me queuing at the regents i already did that video oh no oh no okay oh okay i'll just put this middle fish [Music] okay plots are still really bad at defense that did not change from the last video i think um platinum's are not good at defense [Music] he's gonna miss no he's not what yes he is changed in platinum in a year this is why i roast you guys now if i remember the distribution facts correctly most of the player base is in this rank this is like reflective of most players that's extremely interesting time to get really confusing because we're about to move on to diamond the most confusing rank in rocket league i don't really remember much of my diamond game last time but my name is gipps and i am ready to dominate i kind of like these small interfaces people are doing this is like how mercy plays i think it's like a 75 on the you buy oh no oh i almost missed that that was the most diamond save ever i'm blending it perfectly he's gonna take my boost no he's not okay oh he is oh and he's not here to save it that's perfect yeah just sneak in behind there take that boost and then yeah and then we're both over there that's great why why they keep saying they're using public chat to communicate their kickoffs that's really interesting am i gonna get carried in diamond and because i feel like if i played down here i would just be a happier person okay that guy's going he's gonna get 50. wait what is he doing that was a sick move center oh he's he's moved not my fault he went he went anyway it's like yeah my teammate's doing an air dribble but you know what i'm gonna charge in so that's that that's diamond i don't think i've completed a game yet let's go to champ so the last time i did champ ranks i did champ one but this time we're gonna take it up a notch and do champ three since the mmr has shifted so much so i'm really curious if this looks similar to last year's c1 here we go should be warmed up by uh from playing in bronze all the way through diamond oh he almost saved it i'm period cipher now this is advanced he puts the period before great ssl teammate that's actually perfect i'm gonna actually win this where's my car i actually messed up my car design it's not supposed to look like that oh great control because i've been playing in platinum gold all day i'm afraid it's gonna rub off on me and i'm dead come on oh what a spawn actually almost was able to save that [Music] challenge me challenge me lag yeah me too close one that could lend me an ssl doubles account so we're gonna be doing a ones game and yes i'm terrified actually gotta okay kickoff i'm about to get absolutely crushed by a pro level once player and there will be no one to back me up oh that's not smart dang it i'm just like in a panic state hopefully i can score at least one goal that's that's my dream here i'm an ssl and i'm good tell myself i'm an ssl and i'm good flip reset no problem all right well this is interesting just me like in incredibly defensive positions each time ah oh wow perfect shot it's cause he has 16 ping that's why he's winning it's not fair i might get a goal come on yes i scored get off me i'm gonna score again let's go two goals two goals and ssl yeah i guess you could say i'm i'm kind of pretty much an ssl i bet actual ssls have lost worse than like eight to two let's go come back it's possible ah okay okay i gave up 10 goals but i scored three you the dog no all right not bad not bad you know it could have
