Rocket League CHAMPS vs PROS (but the pros have to get more and more drunk each game)

all right so i've studied the effects of alcohol in rocket league before quite extensively i might add but i've always wondered how an ssl or even a pro team would play if they were to get completely hammered specifically how drunk do ssls have to be before champ twos can beat them truly a question for the ages i went on a search to find my test subjects for this video and it was not difficult to find volunteers for this one unfortunately for the champ team i ended up recruiting ssls they were a little more on the professional side of ssl not to mention some of them were on the more professional side of drinking as well i am a connoisseur of the drink i assembled a 2v2 and a 3v3 team for this experiment and we'll have the participants play through three levels of drunkenness imagine here in the 2v2 we have leth and speed currently in a level 1 state of drunkenness middle bang back to me [Music] over in the 3v3 we have coach jg with pro players cash and polar hard calming like absolute sweats against champ twos all i'm fine with 100 little hundred off backwards i'm less 16. okay nice nice all right nevermind we don't need hardcore polar's webcam got messed up which makes it look like he's looking away the whole time which makes this next play look really funny try again try again oh my oh my i don't know what i expected but the ssls were having way too much fun yeah it's a roll right there so i let them enjoy it knowing that in rounds two and three it was not going to go this well for them astral pinch oh shoot at least that's what i thought boom bumping him oh that's a free oh oh no it's trying to be nice okay all right i know there's no being nice here man we could be disgraced by champ champs in the first game are you serious i'm faking i'm faking it oh what oh no not like this oh this is all you every day of the week on this next goal you need to take a shot i have been doing you have been doing well it's just like sweets i'm taking out the bottle oh good start good start so good that's crazy they're actually not missing as much every day of the week every day they're better than c2s i've played in the past let's just say that eat i'm just making sure i beat him okay all right solid i don't think we're losing by the way our our chemistry when we're actually playing properly even though we're drunk i think is unmatched spiking just fighting yeah that's dang oh my god he just passed to me interesting touch oh he's missing i'm missing we need the barcelona yep they have no respect for me so they they have to uh they have to challenge the worst part of the team that's the way they get goals man i you know that's honestly fair if they're game playing like that i'll be pretty impressed don't don't mind me don't mind me [Music] i'm just gonna be grimacing down he missed all right gg in each level of drunkenness we have two games so as we moved on to game two of round one i was sure the ssls were about to start playing much worse based on the uncharacteristic mistakes we saw in game one well i was wrong oh let's go freestyle on the right only i had the mechanics for it have it and again oh please oh my god dude in game two both the 2v2 and 3v3 ssl teams absolutely obliterated the champs with no mercy they were having the time of their lives and honestly it was pretty entertaining like watching the harlem globetrotters or something but like a drunk i'm starting to get a little blurry you know what i mean uh yeah it's like the fuzzy you're at the fuzzy middle where you kind of drive around and you're not really paying any attention but your mechanics are still there yeah dude why are you so familiar with all this i am a connoisseur of the drink good game guys well played really well played no disaster only 11. i mean 12 jesus christ game one of level two is finally where we had some close games as our ssls really started feeling like i'm filling in a bit more of this game i won't lie i will be flat out all right did some dummy decks and we're uh we're feeling pretty good speedy i'm about at the school level of like maybe maybe gc2 you're feeling like a gc2 yeah oh and again dust city oh my god dude i thought i missed that it's on this right side yeah just donkey ball taste fake you've been fired i have been i've been what hide i nearly i nearly honestly oh they're actually pretty fast i don't know about six games though man i'm up again uh what do you mean yes what is this challenge okay oh please if you get again and again again yep yeah keep going oh my god all right i'll take a shot to that keep it up one more one more keep it up oh no wow okay we went from winning by a like 12 1 to three to one yo speed you wanna play a game of chess they actually played a game of chess i don't even see that with the 3v3 team winning by only two goals last game i think they saw that as a wake-up call because game four was a totally different story let's go [Music] speed in fault it wasn't my fault it was my fault because g at this point i was really impressed with how it still really wasn't that close despite the ssls barely caring anymore after the game i asked them their thoughts on how they were playing so well still is it muscle memory yeah definitely it's ridiculous muscle memory it's it's what the six thousand hours does to you or in less case about 10k well if anything can chip away at that ridiculous muscle memory it's level three okay i am destroyed yeah guys i'm not too sure i actually know where the ball is second to last game second to last streamy together we got this nice catch let's go overall i feel like we learned a lot of things in this video things like speed is the exact same when he's sober and when he's plastered things like don't drink and drive and most importantly things like the skill ceiling in rocket league is so ridiculously high that even decent champ twos cannot beat completely and utterly drunk ssls join me next time
