- Chips Ahoy Matey, today we be in search of
international cookies! - Let's talk about that. (upbeat music) - Good Mythical Morning. - Yes, and beginning today we are back to five episodes a week,
that's Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Tuesday, and Thursday. - Wow, the way that you put
together a week, surprised me. Hey, but listen, we are being careful to follow the evolving state
and city safety guidelines, which is why, in addition
to the two of us is Stevy, we now have some limited
crew with us today. - Very limited crew and then
the rest of the crew is-- - Joining us remotely. - Video chat, speaking
of making this show along with us either remotely or right here, we've got an exciting idea
that could involve you! We're calling it Mythical Beast Takeover! And that means that three
lucky mythical beast will get a opportunity
to write on an episode of Good Mythical Morning, that's right. You get to write an episode
along with the writers, collaborate with them
and dictate what we do and potentially what we say at times. - Now if you wanna be one of these three, you need to click the
link in the description and let us know why
you have what it takes! And let us know by Friday,
because that's the deadline. - Link in the description. All right with the
current state of affairs, international travel's not
really on the dock yet, and yeah, that's a downer, but hey, that doesn't mean that we
can't travel in our minds and it doesn't mean that
we can't enjoy cookies from around the world, and it doesn't mean
that I can't throw darts in Chase's general vicinity. - I hope it does. - (laughs) Today we're gonna
indulge in some dart throwing, mind traveling, cookie consumption, and we're gonna find out, can we tell where a cookie
is from just by tasting it? It's time for, (both talking at the same time) "Where in the world do these international cookies come from? - Today we're gonna be trying cookies that are created, sold, and
enjoyed by a specific country, somewhere in the world because that's where the countries
that we know of are at. - In the world. - And their at the world. - We're throwing it at the world. - I'm throwing it at the world. - But we're in the world. - They're in the world, we're gonna throw our
darts and then as usual, Chase the cookie baker cartographer will measure how far our darts
are from the right answer. - And now the crew has
had quite a lot of time to think during quarantine, they thought so much that they decided to change this game up a little bit. And this time, this
time only in the world, there will be two cookies
from one country in the world, and its always whoever
gets the least amount of distance from the total
countries that they in wins. I won last time, Link, you get to go first
and you also get a cheat, we'll call it a fart, you get to throw four darts at once. - All right, we're going
back to basic fart, the loser of the game must wear chocolate chip nip clips for 10 full seconds in good mythical more. Let's see our first cookie. (upbeat music) Oh, fluffy looking cracker cookie. - [Rhett] It's so cute. - [Link] You know, I've
seen towels with tassels and then these little things on the end. - Towels with tassels? - Yeah, tassel towels. - Do you call that a bon-bon? - Yeah. (everyone laughing) - Chase said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah". - "Yeah". (both laughing) - Strawberry and vanilla,
where's the chocolate? - Okay, Link, I said you
get to go first cause you-- - I did great. - Lost but it's wrong, I get to go first. - I want you to go first cause
I guess maybe it's (murmurs). - Right, I forgot. I can't say I would wanna eat more of it. - It's kinda, if it had chocolate, it would be like a smore
because it's marshmallows and some sort of, it's more
of a short bread cookie. - Where would they do this little checkerboard mini
bon-bon fun little cookie? - [Link] Go for Sweden the whole time. - When I have no clue
and I've nothing to go, this doesn't, it doesn't feel, I gotta, I'm not feeling drawn to
any place in the world because of this, so I
kinda feel like Italy, Sweden is just as a good
of a guess as any of them, so I'm gonna go with Sweden
just because you said too. (dart hitting the board) - Oh, a little bit low. - Now, the one thing I did not mention but I picked up on immediately is that there are coconut
shavings all over the top of this. Now where in the world do you combine coconut and marshmallow? No where but India my
friend, no where but India. (dart hitting the board) Whoops, a little weak, I gotta
- Yeah. - I gotta work on my arm, okay stevy. - Haven't been throwing darts nicely. - [Link] Please tell me
this is south African. - [Female] You guys just hit
Gamesa's Arcoiris cookies which are sweet cookies, toped with coconut coated marshmallows, of course you know that
Arcoiris is Spanish for rainbow, which makes sense because
these cookies are from Mexico. - Oh my goodness, look at this! - That's quite a package. - We have the whole package. - It looks like a cereal box,
but it's not, it's cookies. - [Link] You're just a little bit closer, but we are both really far off. - All right, Rhett had 39, Link had 51. - Oh wow, sorry Link. - Lucky. (upbeat music) - Oh. - Little mushrooms. - Now when I first saw this, I thought it was one of
those gimmicky things for like, bridal showers,
where they're like, let's make everything into wieners. (everyone laughs) - In a world this big
with this many people, there is a man out there with a penis that looks just like this. (people laughing) - Are you, are you confessing
something right now? Is that, and that man is me. These taste good. - Well, I like these man. - So there's, it's like
a peanut butter cup without the peanut butter
stuck on the end of bagel bite? - I like it, I have a guess, step aside. - You know what? I'm gonna take a risk, just throw right-- - Right - Right over my left ear. - You think your glasses would stop it or would it break it going in your eye. - It won't break my eye glasses. - Let's find out. - Glasses! - Okay now, I've been to a part of town that they call a little
Tokyo, in little Tokyo, they have these stores that have packages of little cookies and stuff like this that often look, and taste like this. - Yeah - So I'm aiming for
- you're right. - Japan because Tokyo is in Japan and when I say I don't have to say what people who've already commented that. (dart hitting the board) - Oh, you got angry and you channel that into an accurate throw. (everyone laughing) - I believe that your exactly right. - What about Canada? - But I'm thinking that I can
get closer to japan than you, and you know what? I'm even gonna be fair, I'm
gonna come back a little bit. (dart hitting the board) - Oh, oh, oh, oh, a clap for myself. (both laughing) - I saw that. - Is this South Korea? - [Female] You just hit Orin Chaco boys, cookie sticks topped with
a milk chocolate dom, a shape reminiscent of the
titular mascot Chaco boy, you can grab a box of these
little guys in, South Korea. - [Rhett] Oh, oh.
- [Link] Hey, yes. Look at those, that's Chaco
boy right, it's his hair. - Oh Chaco boy-- - He's got a... - He did it again, he
wore a chocolate hat. - Chocolate bowl cut. - [Rhett] Hey, so we're both pretty close, we're a little bit closer. - Yeah, Rhett had six and Link had two. - Wow, look at that. (beat sound) - Now I'm making up a lot of ground here. (upbeat music) - Look at this, it's
like a, this is a bugle. - No, this is a very
disappointing ice cream cone, I mean, if I ordered ice
cream cone and I got this, I would be a bit disappointed now. Is there even, oh, there is
chocolate all the way down. - Chocolate all the way down. - Now that, so they worked
that out, that's nice. Very airy, lots of air
pumped in this thing. - The chocolate doesn't have
- [Link] Very light. - A strong flavor, can you
blow the chocolate out? (blowing the chocolate up) No, you can't.
- No, I can't, - You can't, you can't blow
the chocolate out, okay. I don't know, there's
something elegant about this and when I think fancy, and I think delicate and I
think light, I think Italy. - I need you to be wrong
and then I need to be right. (dart hitting the board) - [Rhett] Ugh! - All right, you're going closer to Sweden which you could be right but
I gotta try to pull the head and Brazil is calling
to me, I mean they got-- - What is it saying? - They've got these airy gimmicky candies all around the world, I mean,
this could also be Mexico, I'm gonna hedge my bets with the Atlantic, but my guess is Brazil. - Uh-hum, hello, testing, one, two, three. (dart hitting the board) (everyone laughing) - [Link] Shoot it! - [Rhett] I hope it's Canada for you. - Man, I should've, I'm outta practice. - Wow, that was. - I'm rusty! - I'm surprised that
it stayed on the board. - It was, I know it, as
the dart was flying over, it was kinda doing this. - It was also (murmurs) from behind. I need a Rhett cam, can we,
can I have a go pro helmet? - It's like a bird learning to fly. - It was like (imitating Link) - [Female] The cookies you just tried are happy bing bing ice cream cones, soft crunchy wafer cones
with rich chocolate filling-- - Bing bing! - [Female] With cookies so nice, we had to feature them twice! These little guys are available for your chomping pleasure
in a country of South Korea! - [Rhett] Oh, Link, Oh, not-- - [Link] Dang it! - [Rhett] Not Canada. - Look at that bing bing y'all. - Uh-huh! - Happy cone snack. - All right, Rhett had 31 and Link had 62. - Oh, (smacks the table) - That's twice as mini. - Feel better now. (upbeat music) - A little hungry hungry hippo? - Yeah, its a hippo coming out of like a chocolate and vanilla pond. - I'm gonna bite this now. - I'ma bite, I think that's it's neck. - Oh, there's surprise inside! - Oh, look at that. Oh and it's really soft. - Oh it tastes like
- Hazelnut - Hazelnut, yes! - Uh-huh! - Hazelnut. - I'm hazelnut going first
cause I'm still losing! - No, the guy whose losing goes second. - I thought that's what I said. (everyone laughing) - Where is this? - I would've thought
that this would have been maybe from Japan because
it's got that fun, like it's made into a thing,
like an animal you know, it's personified but the hazelnut is drawing my eye away from Japan. It's drawing it into the forest of Sweden. - Yeah, go for Sweden. (dart hitting the board) (everyone shouting) - Hey that, that's my new
technique, you had to say Sweden! You have to say the name of
country before you throw at it. - I don't care that you almost hit Sweden because you hit the wrong answer
and this is my opportunity. This has got Australia
written all over it, ain't no hippos in Australia, aint never been a hippo in Australia. - No, there's probably a zoo. (people laughing) - There are no zoos in Australia. (Rhett laughing) - Okay, all right. - [Link] Sweden. (dart hitting the board) (everyone laughing) - Oh gosh, oh my gosh, I, you gotta get me a go pro-- - I mean, even if - I'm telling you, the way
it looks from behind is, oh, look, it needs two tries. (dart hitting the board) - Well, look at that. - Oh, dang it! See, I need two in a row. - Sweden! - You said the wrong country,
that was your problem. - [Female] Okay guys, you just
had kinder brand happy hippos baked in adorable hippo shapes, these crispy cookies are
filled with luscious milk and coco cream and the
bottom of each hippo is dipped in a frosting
and meringue mixture. - Antarctica? - [Female] The hippos are
notoriously aggressive killers and some of them are in zoos in Australia, these friendlier versions
were made in Italy. - [Link] Oh, Italy is
pretty close to Sweden. Now this is a good coco cream biscuits
snack y'all, happy hippo. - All right Rhett, you had
10 and Link you had 53. (everyone laughing) (upbeat music) - Hey, Link, you're
down by 82 centimeters. - And 82 centimeters according to our map is the distance between
the label for Canada and the label for Australia. - So, like basically the whole world, now, here's the thing, you get to cheat, you get to throw the
fart which is four darts and here's my offer to you.
(bell rings) First of all, this last round is from a country that's not on the map, it is on the map but it's
not marked on the map. If you happened to hit it
with one of your farts, you win the whole thing. - Even if you also hit it? - I mean, I can't give it to
you but what are the chances? (people laughing) What are the chances that
I hit it and you hit it? I mean-- - [Link] This has got
some caramel in it, man. - [Rhett] It's like a sun flower. - Oh, it's lemony, isn't it? - It is. - [Link] Lemon and
chocolate, that's weird. - [Rhett] It is an odd taste. - I don't like that one but
those hippos, line them up cause I'm gonna be knocking
those down the rest of the day. - [Rhett] I mean, I have no idea, I might as well just aim for
the largest country, Russia. - [Link] Oh, and it hit China.
- [Rhett] China. - I'll shoot, so I got these four darts, so I gotta spread these things out, I've gotta answer multiple
countries with these things. - Yeah, answer the call
and don't hit the ocean. - Lemons and chocolate,
that's just strange! - [Link] I think this is
a middle eastern treat. - Yeah, stretch a little bit. - Here we go, Sweden! (dart hitting the board) (everyone laughing) - [Rhett] You also hit China. - [Link] It went kinda low. - [Rhett] And you hit the ocean. - Nothing, none of my darts-- - The ocean and China. - Hit any country. - So hold on, let me
just tell you right now, you can't win because
you did the only thing that will cause you to
not win, you hit the ocean and then the answer that
I've already guessed. - Yeah, I'm a professional loser. (everyone laughing) - I mean-- - You have perfected the art of losing, can we put that on a t-shirt? I have perfected the art of losing. - And then will you gonna make me wear it? - Yes! (everyone laughing) - [Female] Okay guys, you just hit Eti Chin orange jelly biscuit cookies, so they are orange not lemon. - Oh really? - [Female] The official
website describes them as a joyful product with
its special orange pulp and coco granules on a special mold. These joyful cookies are from Turkey. (Link and Rhett shouting) - When you said middle east, I was almost like aim for Turkey. - Yeah, like that. - I was like, hey, dang Link! - Rhett had 18 and Link had 17. - Oh hey, and you know what? You won the last round,
(soft beat) Look at that, look at it
that way, but you still lost. (Rhett laughs) - Yeah, thanks for subscribing
and clicking that bell. - You know what time it is. - I'm Cart, this is cookie the mini horse and it's time to spin
the wheel mythicality. - That mini horse got some goat eyes. (everyone laughing) Or is that just me? - Uh, okay, click the
top link to watch us, guess crazy real of fake Oreo flavors in Good Mythical Morning. - And to find out whether will the mythicality is gonna land, I've got all minutes your horses. - [Rhett] New GMM mugs in
three different wild styles that are available now at mythical.com.
the dart episodes are my favourite.
Iβm happy to see Chase back :)
When he moved farther from the board when Link went to throw the fart, that was hilarious.
They're having such fun together! The ending of GMMore was well worth the wait.
That's odd. They said the Bing Bing cones are from South Korea, but the box has katakana on it, indicating it's from Japan. In addition, the brand is "Hapi", a part of JFC International, which is based in Japan and specializes on selling "Asian", primarily Japanese, food items in America.
Not that this makes a huge difference or changes anything in the slightest, but if I'm not mistaken I think production made a mistake here.
Kinder is 100% the best chocolate brand there is in my opinion. All their products are mind blowingly good. I was very happy to see Link praising the Happy Hippo so much
And thatβs not even the best flavour of Happy Hippo. The milk and hazelnut cream one is even better
A good classic episode and more (the hippos are good)
I didn't know the US didn't have Kinder Hippo. Can confirm, they're very good. We don't usually get them here in Romania, because they're a bit expensive for what they offer (1 medium bite or 2 very small bites) at around ~$.50, and also the filling is very similar to other Kinder products like Bueno or Joy, both of which are better.
If you do find Kinder products where you live, definitely try the ChocoFresh, SchokoBons, Bueno, Delice and MaxiKing.
I feel like someone messed up here... Choco Boy are an imitation of Kinoko No Yama, and the "South Korean" Bing Bing snacks have katakana on the box. Great episode beside that, but that kind of irks me.
