I Made Torturous MiniGolf Courses and Trolled Myself - MiniGolf Maker gameplay

hey everybody welcome back to let's game it out I am Josh and we're gonna dive into some mini golf maker pretty exciting to see if we can make the biggest abomination of a mini golf course we can but you know before we get into that let's just check out the game see what that's like look at these hot ball options here we get a medieval course we got pirate course we got dreamscape let's just start with medieval see where this gets us okay so obviously we aim our ball where we want it we just power up and then fire that bad boy good great looks like there's some power-ups for whatever reason see if we can hit that power up come on come on alright here we go we're gonna hit this fire thing see what happens cool can I use it what button uses it yeah this one's got some depth to it let's see we just hit as far as we know okay am i out I'm out am i in the garden now can I just ramped it let's try ah Oh dear me I think I enabled my flame trails though look at this look how nice this looks I don't know what this little arrow does let's just go full power into it and see what happens haha I I don't know what I expected to happen okay let's see if we can use this rocket thing to really boost us oh yeah oh yeah there we go there we go okay I see how this works ish and now I set the course on fire for no reason what happens if I go through the fire again I was not expecting like boom like a slide whistle but I'm glad that happened yeah I think we get the gist of it pretty standard mini golf game feels pretty good to play time to dive into the course creator abomination 1 okay we're in the matrix it's time to build our course from scratch here wow you can really go crazy on this obviously we're gonna have to go with dreamscape here I think that a pretty picture edit terrain okay here's the fun part I think whoa whoa uh-huh is there like an upper limit how high this can go I can't zoom out as this like this is as far as I can okay cool the game doesn't even appreciate what I'm doing now okay for starters let's go ahead and just make this whole thing green so add a new hole well this wouldn't be us if we could make this easy so well let's go ahead and put this guy over here and you starting position go all the way on the other side here all these options we have over here we have all the normal mini-golf pathways different types we also have all this other stuff we have the power-ups we got all kinds of fun shapes in WoW you can make there's like bumpers and stuff test number one here's the hole here is starting place way the heck over here let's try it out see what happens okay there we are and the overgrown green cuz no one's come to this golf course ever it's go ahead and just give it the full speed and how are we looking oh right this is all out of bounds we got to put our own stuff okay we're gonna do a couple of different courses here I kind of want to see first of all if we can do a course that lobs the ball all the way over to the other side so in order to do that we need to find here we go quarter pipe yeah here we go I put this like right like that perfect let's make sure that works as intended sure does really what we want to get is as much speed as humanly possible going into the course here we go so we can make it look like I just like drape some laundry that's pretty much what this looks like now how high can this go and I just like send this all the way yeah I sure can if I just give it the full power yep okay I put power ups on here where's my rocket so if I put a rocket like right here here right there I'll just put a rocket like pretty much all the way up here so I think the rocket when I activated it keeps me moving forward so let's try it out here alright so I'm using the rockets oh yeah do you see that just right into orbit wow I just grabbed the front here and just raised it forever and I instead of making it steep bring it forward like some kind of ultimate mega ramp see there we go just goes right into hell I mean heaven let's keep on dragging this thing until we can get all the way over to there's the hole so this thing will stop right there it's gonna put a wall here that in theory can be just slammed into and that's how we're gonna get a hole-in-one so the part we're missing on our highway to hell here is we got to get some rocket boosts and just get this just right let's put a couple along the course here okay in theory what should happen is I should hit the gas here and be able to make it all the way to the end smack into a wall get a hole-in-one let's try it and go oh yeah there we go getting velocity oh no you know what I didn't take into account when I hit that wall we go back with the same velocity we had I don't know why but in my brain I was like it would just be like yeah it's just gonna you know it's gonna go boink and that's gonna be it so what we want this wall right behind this one get us going back the other way just like that except higher here we go huh I'm getting as many rocketboost as I can okay we're gonna pounce okay we're gonna bounce off it again okay here we go here we go okay and oh it just cleared the wall again all to get the ball into that little hole right down there wait what the hell is this okay okay yeah okay so it turns out these tombstones work really well for bouncing the ball so we're almost there if we use this treasure chest here really just get it nice and high here maybe that'll be enough let's try it out all right here we go this might be okay launched and off it goes flying forever flying forever bouncy bouncy bounce poke spiked it down hmm alright we got a seal up that hole let's do a nice line of treasure chests I feel so confident that we're gonna doll up our track a little bit okay here we go this is it we have some friends here pedal to the metal let's do this there it goes there it goes there it goes bouncing bouncing bouncing the holes down there let's see let's see what happens oh this could be anyone's game right here this could be the hole-in-one we were always talking about that's cool well it should be easy enough even though I can't see what I'm doing yeah we did it okay so that was great now let's make a real course this time a fresh horror just get these rocks going right here this is inspired by something hopefully it'll take form you'll understand in a second that's like it pretty good you tell what this is yet put some trails and tracks and stuff it's not clear what this is it's inspired by a movie this might uh this might give it away but this guy right here on the edge does that help seal the deal gonna need some subjects to look out at cool so we got a bunch of gazelles perfect everyone's standing at attention and of course a bunch of these people now that is a lion fit for a king fun fact I accidentally closed the game it didn't save it so I had to rebuild all this here's Pride Rock number two I also found the proper sky which looks perfect for the scenery okay where were we golf course let's do this put you right there okay so the hole itself is gonna begin back here with all the lovely creatures man takes a while to build these things [Music] okay I think we've made a rudimentary course start you back here at the horses you go through this little space here you have to fight off these gazelles to get up here go under Pride Rock go past these Oscar statues and then Gope this impossible hill right up to the king himself who's guarding the hole-in-one so let's give it a shot mmm-hmm so we go up that slope right there dodge the diamonds that are slightly floating off the ground because I don't know what I'm doing let's see if we can get over to those gazelles or whatever they are so huh slight curve that's not too bad hopefully gets us right over there now all we got to do next is go under Pride Rock there so I wonder if I can hit it at a weird angle and just do it like that huh nevermind that part of the level that you can see through aw geez we're going back Simba save me okay gonna take us right on through here see if we can get around these dangers as well and hit it again bounce off the things okay here's the part that I'm a little worried about I feel like I went a little Sonic the Hedgehog here and this is gonna be a little shall we say steep so we're just gonna give it full power and see what happens okay full power oh oh oh you know I didn't realize we clip right through those rocks that's gonna be a problem okay I think I fixed it I just need to get back to that spot if ever that's possible let's try it out and see I should be able to stay in this area this time it shouldn't force me all the way down okay perfect right there in the shadow of the flag and now I should be able to get up to another level there come on [Laughter] uh-huh okay keep me up here keep me up here please don't send me back down please please please please please there it is there it is right there let's see if this works hopefully I don't clip through those rocks Oh Josh Oh Josh it's like you've never played mini golf before a little more power this time oh [Music] yes yes only +17 on my randomly set par of three well there we go we did that one not bad not perfect but you know it's mine so we're gonna do one more course this one's gonna be a quickie for you anyway I've envisioned in my head since I was a wee lad what the worst golf course of all time would look like and we're gonna make it right now so just stand by and you'll just get to see the results cuz it might take me a little while welp here's opus that's right it's a maze not just any maze a very very big maze just keeps going and going and going it kind of actually stops towards the end here the game started to get really really really laggy so I figure if we can even get that far this will be our little reward is we just get to putt to the end there so let's let's try it out so first thing I notice is we have some clipping where the green doesn't quite cover everything and if I go in that space it's out of bounds I believe let's just test it out yep that's what that means just let's take it easy here okay let's see if we can't get through this course here don't look straight ahead that framerate I gotta tell ya my goal here was to make the most joyless mini-golf course you can imagine I don't know about you but a maze is pretty much the ultimate in torment I mean I know I made this thing but there's no way I was paying attention you know in hindsight I probably should have reset the par something tells me this will never be a par 3 course I seriously can't tell what direction I was going anymore Oh God was it this way oh good we just hit a hundred strokes oh god I really don't know which direction is the right way ah the big 200 ish well we did it everybody we broke the meter that tells us how many strokes were on I think I can also admit that I'm never ever ever gonna get through this maze so I think now is as good a time as any to cap it here really though I gotta say like the the course crater is really great it's pretty quick to pick up not to make dumb stuff like this necessarily but if you wanted to make actual levels you actually could with ferries which I think it's pretty cool just don't do what I do don't find yourself you know 200 plus strokes ends that's gonna do it for this episode of
