I Left My Perfect House to Go Fall to My Death Over and Over - Sophica Gameplay - Let's Game It Out

hey everybody welcome back to let's game it out I am Josh and today we are playing sapphic ax temples of mystery it's more of a first look probably we'll see how far we get here we are in my bedroom just as I remember it basically my bed on the ground perfect nightstand perfect plant perfect alarm clock well it looks like we live among the clouds look at this beautiful meshing of Technology here we've got a standard IBM keyboard Microsoft Mouse modern 4k flat-screen and floppy disks let's go explore our house I wonder if this is a dream a beautiful Zillow dream this further describes the perfect life perfect house like table for four we have special laptop seating at Nintendo 64 and VHS tapes can enough of that let's flee oh wow and we live in a fortress it looks like I can jump over these steps by pressing spacebar jump then jump in jump and jump in jump in Wow just hosted myself right over I know I have the perfect life but the hell with it let's get out of here is this my route to and from work every day just to roll these boxes and we appear to oh ok here this is the adventure right here this is when it all starts I can sprint by pressing yeah I got it don't you oh I don't have it I get try to make a double jump to reach the higher platforms ok ok sorry for not listening to you tutorial man we can barely make those jumps it's kind of harrowing actually so Oh overshot it well dreams over goodbye a very forgiving game I'm okay with that Schon and overshoot it again ok oh god I just I just this does not bode well for the rest of the game when I'm at this bad can I just skip a couple no no I cannot goodbye ah time to leave the dream world here we are in another primary color world which way do we want to go do you want to go left or right there's so much opportunities so much potential let's go over to the right it jump jump jump jump jump platforms jump no don't leave me behind this is my dream we're just gonna keep on jumping just feel what the dream world motherf aside AddThis game is legit about a guy just going to work and how they are in the process of it all there basically triathletes now because they have no choice no don't don't go anywhere oh god oh god oh god if I fall from this that's just it I'm gonna be too great god I just okay what is that is that my drugs is this a metaphor get get over there oh we did it give me my something skipping our way and I'm falling off the lip oh let me try and describe the controls a little bit they are very flighty you coast like a lot like once you get some air you like you know the nurse is gonna take you you can't you can kind of change the direction but not not a lot and also you can't jump as high as I think you would expect ah blue so that means we got a blue and a yellow that's good there's this big old jell-o mold over here that just expands and expands so we got a yellow bomb and a blue bomb I'm sure there's a lot of other bombs we need to get we're gonna go to the next challenge arena we can already see the platform nightmare from here you know that you know why I picked this up I thought to myself you know it's nice nice solid colors and platformers I didn't realize it was gonna be so many moving platforms that just spite me like that one but that's okay because this game has another thing that I appreciate which is the penalty is generally not too bad I think as you get higher up here and you keep falling and you have to climb back up that is gonna be a severe penalty but let's pretend I'm a patient person and I can actually manage that getting a better look over here we can see that there is something past the red stuff okay here we are at the top I think oh oh hello hello my purple friend okay so I grab the purple one it opened this door here so I'm thinking we need to unlock this guy here because now that I'm understanding it when we pick up the little bomb things I'm pretty sure these doors open cuz we've conquered it and need to find a way out we've gotten a yellow oh god oh god a lot of these jumps you can only very narrowly make it on the very apex of your double jump so there's a lot of times like right now we're just I thought for sure I had oh oh but like in that case like I thought I was at the apex of my jump but it just wasn't good enough apex it there we go there we go here we are at the top whoo this is so fancy there's our red friend let's go down and get him we there we go got the red one so let's head back over to the big red jello molds and see if they're open now yep check that out the way is clear now just have to get over there can't say this for sure but I feel like this is one of those the journey is the important part games is just taking in the atmosphere enjoying you some platforming take me home okay check that out I think we're in a new place now ooh this land has textures and papercraft are these flying rocks or am I on clouds oh I think I'm hitting that point where you know shouldn't have said it I was gonna say I was getting better at the game okay I have no choice I have to try to parkour this now I don't want to stop running at any point so I'm gonna see if I can't make that happen where I know yeah yeah yeah please never let me have to do this obstacle again oh god that was really close you'd think I would learn to just like take it slow but I just want you through it's so bad so I'm just gonna do a shot in the dark these things with the different colored nipples I think those are the these are the towers that we need to conquer starting with this jello mold left mouse button to pick up a box so I wonder what I'm supposed to do with this here box besides have it sort of just follow me around okay so it just fought what if I can throw it off goodbye box okay oh thank goodness it comes back I box come with me I'm so scared to go anywhere with this thing especially because I can't see anything when I'm holding on to it let's see so could jump and then ooh this is a it's like trying to drive blindfolded let's see let's just okay we can do this we can do the hip please please God let this be where this is supposed to go it means yell boxy old platform seems about right doesn't it no don't you want to get on it don't you want to go home I mean that feels right doesn't it is that what you want you want to be here all right we're gonna leave you here for now I don't know what else to do with you okay oh god oh god why did it put me back here have I forsaken the Suffolk 'gods okay I will not be conquered by these stairs there we go here we go you come with me now here's my thought check this out see that purple nipple and you see that purple box and then over there if you could see it over on the left there's that purple platform I feel like that's where these things do go I think it's as simple as taking these colors and bringing them home so in this case I have to blindly jump over here and hope that God smiles upon me okay here we go so now I'm hoping hoping beyond hope that this is what we're supposed to do is just put the box here on the platform I wonder if I can just land on that green stuff let's try it out yeah box you're coming with me hey box just there we go oh look at that I put the Box down you know I think that's actually been happening the whole time I think I've been putting boxes down and these boulders have been rising up and I just haven't noticed easy enough all we gotta do is take this box over this thing over here and I'm trying to I'm trying to really cut corners here and as you can see it's working perfectly I really can't see anything okay whew all right you get in here in the Griffith Observatory or whatever the heck this is mi box oh oh I see you too good for this platform there you go there you go so now we just got to make it over this is the ultimate right here where we're almost home everybody oh god oh god oh god keep in mind in my brain I have actually convinced myself that this is not a puzzle game this is this is not a puzzle game this is how this person gets to work every day oh my god come on come on come on come on come on come on okay okay every time I do one of these little jumps now I can just feel my entire lower body clenched come here Unreal assets iottery you and me we're in this together okay so now we got to get over to that magical Wonderland over there oh god I can see all the stairs from here okay I'm now convinced that the soothing music is not for meditative purposes but it's to keep you from going just absolutely nuts as you just peruse all of these platforms and just wait for certain death by falling okay okay oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no did you see that underneath the tower you can see like the landmass like I was seeing the islands but oh can I just make it over here oh yeah I can I think I just did a six speed run tactic and just skipped over a whole part of something okay wait wait what what what is this what why did why did the platform why I actually don't understand did the platform did it uh let's try that again watch this so oh the platform's just gone that's cool what about this one is this one can be gone too no it's just some of them that fall it's just some of them that fall well that's cool you know what this game is secretly is like I mean it sells self is like a calming platformer but what I think the game actually is Oh God Oh God oh okay okay okay okay hold on hold on okay we made it we made it and I don't mean this in a bad way but it's like one of those crazy difficult platformers that has like secret traps you could punch you could never possibly know about until you encounter them and so you just have to learn it through trial and error I think that's what this is secretly and the reason it's got the calming music is to deceive you for Oh see see look at that look at that oh god I'm just getting worse at this too but like there's this game called I want to be the guy and there's a lot of games like it that are like they look kind of like old-school Mario games and they kind of are but also they just have like insane dangers that get you killed on like every white come on come on come on okay okay what if I could just make it all the way without please don't fall platform okay okay we made it weird that much closer to the castle but I am learning now I look at these platforms with uh with hesitation and and I feel very scared and just don't want to touch any of them can I just can I bathe in the fountain all right let's go find our hidden treasure in this beautiful castle full of I'm sure platforms in danger open please open did no-one announce that I'm coming that's okay I'll make my own way in I hope this is the way you know actually I was gonna say I hope this is the way we're supposed to go but I don't actually care if I can make it in this way then that's how we're doing it yeah yeah there we go yeah yep this is probably by design right they were like you know what we're not gonna build any doors here every citizen is gonna have the athleticism of the Prince of Persia don't worry about building doors what this game is teaching me is to not rush things it's teaching me that the precision of the jump is what's gonna get me through this and also my clenched ass cheeks as I fear that I'm gonna have to start this over again okay okay okay okay well we did it we did it we did it oh haha where'd we go now where do we oh let me show you what I keep running into that's causing my blood pressure to hit new new highs that I didn't know was possible I keep trying to jump in this things in the way and I'm like oh I can make the platform but I can't so I need to figure out how to get around this I step on the edge what if I jump okay okay this is fairly high stakes coz if I fall I have to do all this again okay okay we did it we did it I see the portal out of here I'm just curious if there's anything else here that's a big no let's get out of here come here portal we I see our world tours continuing now we're gonna desecrate the pyramids the pyramids and the clouds all of them it's like a Greatest Hits of pyramids so I can see the portal up they're teasing me but how do we get up there you see that platform right there alright let's give this a shot if you think there's probably some like six-year-olds out there that are playing this game and being like no dude Suzie what's wrong with you so there's all these platforms that like raise and lower but I don't actually think they're necessarily an indicator of where to go next they just kind of exist but I feel strongly that this is the way if we just wait for this to raise and then yeah and then oh come on all right Josh apex of the jump jump apex my god there's so many boxes here I guess let's just go this way I guess he's gonna push me off for these just here to be like football drills football drills it is I wonder if this is how the citizens of a bygone era felt after they built the pyramids they were like okay now it's time to do some sick parkour and then they were like okay now it's time to climb to the top and climb into a portal okay okay we did it we got to the top let's do this huh I see you guys were over that desert theme huh back to the clouds we go they were like you get your intermission with doing just a little normal climbing where you can't fall into hell oh my god it just respawned me falling that doesn't seem very fair okay so we've we've hit a contingency where every time it spawns me fecund it just goes ahead and just dumps me back in alright so I think we're gonna cap it here this is our first look at sapphic huh we are currently stuck in a hell loop where it keeps responding me in a place where I just keep falling which I don't hold this against the game I'm sure they'll work this out in a patch so that's gonna do it for this episode of let's game it out as always I am Josh thank you so much for joining me and I will see you
