hey everybody welcome back to let's game it out I am Josh and today we get to be fantasy blacksmiths Sankey devs for sending me a key to this let's not delay its blacksmith time this is an early version so you may bump into some bugs yeah yeah okay so like every game we're gonna try and play this one as wrong as possible I'd never really know what that's gonna entail when you're going to a game but hopefully we can find it here man look at my guys little ol fists down there that one hand is just aching for some kind of blacksmithing cool your sword here cool your jets here okay so there's the tongs story put the tongs that's the anvil I think I've seen enough movies to know how this works oh but before we get started what's up these stairs is this the way to the Fed chambers oh it's just my dojo up here soon we're gonna display our beautiful swords or put them there to sell can't open the door to the outside something tells me I'm a prisoner in my own workshop and now that I take a look around this is like Walter White's lab down here am i entirely underground here Pressey to make a draft use map to buy a bronze ingot and make your first sword draft I have four hundred gold in the bank what the hell okay village what am I even doing okay so it wants me to buy an ingot that's nicely that it shows you the forging temperature the melting temperature okay so look at this I need all of the pieces so we're gonna take that I guess I'm designing my sword let's go for as many weird ridges as possible I think right oh yeah look at that that's perfect that's we're looking for right there okay yeah so it's perfect make it I'm assuming it's gonna like iron itself out but who knows I'm gonna buy this crap and then the bronze whatever I guess okay what the hell was that noise take coal box and throat whoa whoa check it out that was really nice and fast wasn't it okay give me this yeah yeah that's perfect just put it down on the ground right there that's exactly what I meant and then let's just make a crappy pile that I'm gonna have troubles Oh mm-hmm I drop something and I can't see it No am I gonna have to buy another one because I can't find it let's just put this stuff over here I lost a little handguard thing and I can't tell if we went through the floor because it you know got to give this a pass a little bit cuz it's like early early access but looks like I'm gonna have to order another one of those so what's the arrow trying to tell me to do Oh take that's right take the coal do I store it in there oh yeah okay guess that makes sense because the wood will burn right I just go into the furnace the answer is no use the bellows to make the fire nice and hot do we just really just take this and just throw it in there is that good enough it's like barely in take thermometer and measure the ingot temperature you must heat bronze between seven hundred and eight seventy come on text I was still reading that good news this clock is in real time why does it feel like everything here's medieval times and then we've got this like modern oven thermometer over here this is like Pottery Barn nice do I just oh oh whoa whoa do you see this murder weapon here okay let me pick this up again if I just like oh no do you think it's still in there I can sort of see it's outlined there we go so the ingot is too hot but the thermometer if I throw it in there can I hold on can I just throw everything in here okay so like can I just take this hammer and just roll it in there yes okay I'm gonna need to use these tongs there we go this is where we're keeping all of our stuff I've decided first you know safekeeping at all I cannot get over how big that thermometer is okay fine let's use our tongs here the brighter the color of the ingot the higher the temperatures if the temperature drops down you can't Forge it anymore got it put that right like that oh no oh no if this touches anything else is it okay like can I just work with this right here on the table I don't seem to mind if I just drop this thing right into the water no you own Oh was that my tongs did my tongs just go in the water too hot need tongs I know oh geez hello the tongs okay no come back please I mean eventually this thing's not gonna be super hot look at that it's just it's it's slowly changing oh I know how we can check from ear thermometer Wow okay it's still in the 700s that thing so let's why does it have to fall down like that always in a position to kill me I don't think those tongs are coming out since things are already lost let's just throw everything in there there we go nothing helps heat something like throwing coal into water first here we go oh okay it's all in there still at least some of the stuff is in there the other thing I wonder is this little uh this little thing is what brought me my supplies right so if I order the supplies from here can I go for a ride oh I can reach it okay let's buy something and see if this are here now I'm not gonna lose the handle this time how far can I love this thing yep that's perfect use bill is to get to 700 degrees got it I asked some hot fellows action and I'll take our hilarious size thermometer and just aim it at this thing here and until it touches there you go that's how you know so we're waiting for it to get to 700 in painful ass real time once again while that's happening let's go ahead and put our things in here for safekeeping not the not the tongs this time but the coal can definitely live in there because we can actually get the coal out of there okay that looks like that's fine let's pick it up with some tongs here pick that up set the end get on the anvil and use your hammer the fright of the yeah huh he's gonna make it oh that was close okay no no no no no no all right hit that yeah yeah now hit it right there yeah now hit it right there we showing some good progress on this thing I don't feel like what I'm doing is effective so obviously I knew when it was gonna make us do real blacksmithing that it would be a long procedure of trying to take this ingot no no stop trying to pick it up tongs and just having to hit it over the hill is my hammer I'm just having to hit it over and over oh here we go here we go oh yeah oh yeah am i doing it oh you can see it changing look at that yeah yeah yeah really just shape that do what the big glowing arrows telling you to do it's not malleable anymore okay back into the fire it goes whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa what happened Oh hammer did you just did you just try to ascend to heaven with me is that what happened when you put an item down it sort of displaces you and interesting things can happen that's what I now know I put that back in there maybe that's why there's a place to put your tools because if you don't put your tools away they will try to launch you into outer space I mean I knew exactly how this would go right you get the thing nice and hot and then you feed on it for a while until it gets soft and that sums really awful want to explain it that way but for some reason I didn't anticipate that I'd be so bad at it oh yeah that's the good stuff you see that turning into the magic there just me or is this like is this gonna be like a really thick sword actually no I can sort of see where this is going look at this your watch let me get out of this view you can sort of see where this is going I mean you can see one side of the sword anyway right now it looks like a battleship let's pick up this abomination put it back in there get it nice and hot as fast as humanly possible so I look at that thing supercharged over shield it's all there okay okay I let it get a little too hot I think you're supposed to keep it in the 700 to 800 range and I let it get well above a thousand and it claims it'll break but uh I'll believe it when I see it how's that sound it's becoming clear to me that I'm not just a blacksmith I'm able to Smith this whole thing from one angle this is what you get when you're a grand master blacksmith you can see the edge of the guy's gauntlet now that I see it like look at this you are not a blacksmith you were a floating gauntlet you were like thing from The Addams Family except you just fly around making weapons and stuff no oh god I did it again know what why come back here don't you want to be a full sword you look pretty badass right now but you know I mean just like oh come on come on don't you want this don't you mmm hey pick it up put it right really is that what you want you want to be over there now don't worry don't worry we'll sell you soon enough they're good enough let's do this let's just hit this oddly close to our crotch okay now let's hit that part over there that I can't even really see you know when I drafted this sword I didn't think it was actually gonna look like this but here we are and I can safely say so far it's perfect it's like a javelin more than anything else let's go ahead and just dump it in the drop it drop it drop it okay that's perfect that's exactly what I meant okay what now what do I do with it now oh so now we're in the sharpening stage we beat on it for a while till it looked like a missile the better the sharpening in connection with the handle the higher the price and reputation for the sword press C to spin the wheel if C just hold it down and there it goes and now hold the grind button while grinding yeah game oh there we go okay I got it you hold down the grind button and the grinding you see how the grinding accuracy is uh look at that number I'm not really sure what that means Oh Oh can I go back and grind it some more I'm not satisfied with the level of grinding I got why does this say grinding finished well it is my first sword who cares oh I have to put the handle on it so we're do you want me to put this down somewhere game I just throw it down on the ground okay so we pick up the guard which we put over here and now we put the handle right there like that and last but not least we put this little Hershey kiss on the end so that we don't hurt ourselves when we're putting the whole thing together so we're gonna take our our battle staff looking thing click on cross guard to start assembly wait why okay so I have to hit that good line I think okay I can do this I don't even know if I hit it right 70 percent let's try again average score is that supposed to be an insult I feel okay about 70 percent watch this nothing but net ah there we go uh-huh oh yeah oh yeah that one felt pretty good what do you think yeah average score on the handle cool and now on goes the Hershey kiss and huh what what accuracy is required to twist something everyone calm down we gotta we gotta get our full concentration for this twist everybody in three two one oh god my heart can't take it time to go upstairs and sell this sword this is not a sword I don't know what this is but it is not a sword let's loudly and proudly these handle parts immediately put them over here so you don't lose them because especially this little guy right here too easy to lose you know what I'd love if I could just like pick up this ingot come to my front door just to let me know about all these better blacksmiths than me well that was real kind so here's the plan we're gonna make enough of these swords so we can see the other stuff there's like alchemy or something in this there's also Damascus steel but let's really just pace ourselves here and just make a couple swords first look at that beautiful some sharpen and now but it's grind it to perfection oh yeah oh yeah there we go there we go there we go I didn't even finish forging it can you see that like the other side hasn't even done yeah this is definitely a sword and not something else okay first we're gonna put the handle on cool I don't care what they total averages give me that sword God look at this it's not a sword yeah can't wait for someone to come into my sex dungeon and want to buy this can I somehow make this look more phallic let's give something a little bit more uh you know a little more traditional right there we have a customer let's see what we got that matters see now we're settling into a groove I go over here I pick up the handle parts I immediately miss oh no where did it go I tried to put it down oh there it is well as I saying just everything's average right you see if it's just your average day I've got a routine I swear where's that thing where's the little suppository oh there it is alright next sword coming up and I mean use the thermometer anymore I just go ahead and hit the bellows until this thing gets nice and red hot so if before I was able to sharpen the sword before it was really done can I just keep doing that like at what point does it become good enough to start sharpening like that looks pretty good right that doesn't look like just a giant hunk of metal and let's sharpen you darn artists part of the game is trying to get this thing to get my weird umbrella looking sword just really where'd you go now okay oh when I caught it it was like a magic trick can't I just like oh right in my face cool that's a good look right there yeah make the shaft nice and slender not too slender we want to give it a little bit of the girth still oh yeah look at that perfect okay spin it and grind it god why does it even let me do this take this hot sword upstairs with me and put it right there look at that perfect sword huh only has like a weird shark fin coming at the top you know the important part though is at the end over there you've got the peen I only have 194 coins and I need more than that so that I can start making more swords someone's here can I sell you a sex sword hello I want to buy lets you check higher temperatures we got a metal box which we would need for Damascus steel oh look at this the whole world just opens up we've got all of these things to make Damascus steel that I will definitely screw up we have more ways to make our swords look weird as hell let's see what this interior thing is ooh we got stuff to look forward to here what's the deal with smelter 2 higher-temperature good on this table you can play dice with customers hell yeah and of course the alchemist table okay our next sword is gonna be a nice weird osore just like this fella here now that is a fine-looking piece of iron here you go let's display that one nice and proudly yeah and this one's gonna be super duper girthy with a little there we go that's perfect it just spits at the end yet another fine blade let's make an actual sword has that sound like one that's actually like like a sword sword I feel like so much about this game is like accidentally phallic like just even the dudes hand down there is in a weird position for like a first-person game why is this how we sell swords are we like the lorax of blacksmiths what is with you people wanting to mask is steel let's go with yes yes I have one you can offer it wait it doesn't have Damascus teehee or whatever I'm not gonna tell you so this person wants the sword they wanted with Damascus steel this is totally not that but I guess they're gonna buy it anyway so long sucker he feels like a bad omen that I sold that sword for 1/8 seven gold but whatever damn it why won't anyone buy my hot sexy swords the good news is now I have enough to buy the dice table behold the dice table has come where is it where did you put it where's my dice table it's at upstairs oh yeah there it is oh wow those are some fancy legs hey this is that thing that we saw in another verse it was just there all along waiting for me to want it bad enough and now here it is let's go back down here go back to making swords no one wants to buy though I'm selling swords that are totally not with Damascus steel all right we're gonna buy the next smelter up I can't wait for this thing to magically switch over to smelter two has come tada wow magic woods magic oh my God look at these prices why is bark 150 okay so this is so you can imbue them with special powers in case you know like someone who actually leaves their house gets to use needless to say I don't think we can afford this any time soon but I'm glad it's there and the magic wood over here we can also buy a magic cauldron as well as the rune table to enchant things oh my god and look at all this fancy stuff it has Titan forging tight here's what I'm hoping this time because we have a hundred and eighteen coins I'm hoping that is enough so that we can gamble with the next person that comes through can you sharp my sword can't why why can't we gamble don't you want that don't you want to gamble how or when do we get to use the gambling table I would like to buy a decent sword with a magic effect do you have one no no I don't I want to see this Damascus steel thing happen even though I'm pretty sure at this point now that I've unlocked the magic stuff I bet no one's gonna want to Vaska steel okay I think we have enough gold to buy all the Damascus crap now okay metal box all this junk yeah okay buy it behold the alchemists table has come okay so we have we have our chemicals and then we have our Bunsen burner oh wait I need the Box thing where's that box that I bought here's that box let's go take this box over here first I need to melt metals from box to the ingot I don't really know what we're doing so I'm just gonna put the ingot in there fire this bad boy up you get nice and hot and then we're gonna like put you in the putting the pot I don't know I don't understand how this works at all so okay that looks plenty hot obviously I'm not supposed to do this but I'm like hold on let's just let's just put this on the table as one does melt from Fox to ingot like I put this guy in here like that and it didn't do anything right maybe if I put the ingot on top of it I need a forge a sword first then make the mask pattern okay great at least now we know so we'll go ahead and we'll just Forge the sword as normal or you know try our best that's gonna make one fine sword I hope so now we've got part of the sword now the question becomes let's put that back in here and let's put the box back aha here we go you need to add metal plates to the blade in three layers so that the layers do not repeat moving the plates as possible by pressing the a and D keys okay here we go what what the hell okay Oh does that go there I hope that goes there what the hell this is like a puzzle game okay so let's just put that there I guess and I need like a single you guys have like okay perfect perfect yeah now that's gonna go right yeah yeah Damascus steel just like they made in the old days remember they were like we're gonna make the finest steel known to man all it's gonna take is one game of Tetris it's really coming together okay please be a single-piece next there we go look at that look at that Damascus steel what what was wrong with that what where's my box uh so that's a looking back I think where I went wrong was I needed to make sure the layers didn't repeat and I totally let that happen because I am unskilled in the ways of Damascus steel I will learn from my mistakes this time provided there's enough fire to actually make that happen oh boy here it is who's ready okay don't let the layers repeat Josh okay let's put that off to the left like so I guess yeah yeah that's okay so that has to go like that so the layers aren't repeating yet oh go god oh god I'm screwed what about little pieces how is this ever possible to do oh yeah because you didn't give me any the thing oh really really really all right look we're gonna cap it here I don't really know how to we don't have enough money for another Damascus box I'm not really sure if we're gonna ever be able to do it and keep in mind this game isn't really early access so you can't you know they'll fix that I'm sure but think about this too like as much as I would have loved to have shown you the ruins in the enchanting if I can't get past the Damascus steel part where you you do Tetris to get Damascus steel what's really the chance I'm gonna be able to enchant some runes we both know the answer is zero but you know we made some cool swords and by cool i mean some couples really enjoying those in the bedchambers right now so I feel pretty good about
