hey guys it's jess welcome back to my channel so for today's video i'm going to show you guys how i've been getting my new staple hairstyle like is this not so cute yeah come on come on dubai um yeah so i've been wearing this hairstyle for like the past two weeks and i was like ma'am what have i been doing i should have been wearing this hairstyle from the jump i did not cut bangs i just go went without further ado let's get on into this video so i can show you guys how i got this hairstyle black queen failure ain't an option you looking clean clean clean hey guys okay so this is my starting point really quick i just want to show y'all i got a new piercing you know how we do um i got a new piercing so i have these little shower cap ear things because you know when you have a new piercing you can't really get hair products into it so this is going to be on my hair for like the next nine months so if you see me with that you just know what time it is so chow anyways i'm gonna let down my hair it's freshly washed absolutely no product in there right now so we're gonna get this hair together but what we're gonna do um i switched it up after a while because i've been wearing this hairstyle for like two two weeks but what i did first is i went ahead and sectioned off a part in the front that i would make as my bangs because my hair is so used to splitting down the middle and i needed my hair to be all in the front of my face i didn't want them to fall and to the side so i went ahead and split a piece and sectioned off a middle part so most of this video is going to be pretty standard i'm just doing a regular twist out all throughout my hair sectioning off a piece in the back detangling it and then of course i'm going to put on some leave-in conditioner i'm using the argan and macadamia deep leave-in conditioner by kiss and so my gosh somebody asked me if i still put my leave-in conditioner on in the shower most times i do but when i forget like today i forgot or on this day two weeks ago i forgot but um i would prefer to put my leave-ins in in the shower it works way better for my low porosity hair i just forgot on this day so anyways i'm using a new definition is uh really giving you know what i'm about to say what it's supposed to happen so i really enjoy this product a lot so i just spread it throughout my hair and give my hair a quick little detangle even though i already detangled in the shower and then i detangled when i got out and then i'm doing it again just so i can evenly distribute the product and then i'm going to twist up my description box but now we're gonna work on the front and i'm gonna do the same exact thing but look who's making an appearance look who's y'all thought i was playing no no no i do oil my scalp all the time i'm using my wild growth oil you guys already know if you saw me talking in my how i grew my hair video that was a um one of the main characters so i'm just putting the leave-in conditioner on my hair again and then i'm going to twist up my hair just like i did the rest now for the front i'm going to split it into um two halves like a top half and a bottom half just to make sure my twists in the front aren't too big because the front curls are probably the most important so i want to make sure um they have a really nice curl pattern [Music] [Music] all right so it is the next morning my hair is completely dried i did sleep with all my twists in my bonnet but when i woke up i took the front ones out because i felt like they were laying in a weird position and i wanted to make sure that the front ones would lay towards the front of my face so i'm using my argan and macadamia hair oil blend by kiss as well so i'm just putting on my hands like i normally do and spreading it throughout my hair so that when i'm taking my twists down um i don't have that much frizz you know the same thing that we always do that all the youtubers talk about in every twist out video y'all know what time it is so i'm just gonna go ahead and take these out gently and i'm gonna go ahead and take these out gently all right [Music] uh [Music] all right so if we could all just take one quick moment out of your day to recognize and appreciate this definition can we can we pre can we appreciate this definition all right well you're out of time because we're going to ruin it now because we're going to go ahead and separate now when it comes to the curly fro i'm not so much stuck on keeping a definition i'm kind of choosing volume over definition here so i'm separating of course you still want you know to have the ends nice and you know curly curly curly and get have a texture or whatever but um we're focused on the volume not so much the definition or the curl pattern so i'm gonna go ahead and separate separate separate and then we're gonna get to the most important part of this entire hairstyle [Music] all right so this is what the hairstyle is looking like with the twist all separated very cute but it's not giving curly fro it's giving curly sue and that's not what we want so now we're going to go in with the goat the greatest of all time the hair blow dryer if you're not stretching your hair is this what are you in like 2010 come on stretch your hair not just because it gives you so much more volume the volume is what we're trying to achieve here obviously it gives you a little more length too which is it's always a plus here's a side not stretch and here is a side stretch now i may have over stretched in some parts but we're really going for the volume here the other side is just way too prim and proper for me the other side is giving me uniform in high school the other side is giving me wear whatever you want love that for you so in the front i don't stretch too much because i don't want it to be that long because they're bangs and i don't want to lose too much of the texture in the front either so this is what we're looking like and i'm going to use actually my um comb attachment because i lost my pick long ago long ago during the move and i'm going to fluff my hair to give it a little bit more volume and a little bit more shape [Music] all right and the last step i'm going to use these hair pins for the bang part because my bangs are a little too long and they're in my face so i'm going to push my hair back and then i'm going to pin a pin on one side and one on the other to my desired like height and length and then i'm going to let my hair fall back over and see if i like where it falls right above or like right on my eyebrows which is perfect now this step is optional but i put one more on the top to kind of help it lay a little more a little bit more flat so if people are looking above you it's going to look a little crusty but if no one is sitting on top of you you should be a-okay so this is the look it's it's very wild and free i loving the curly fro right now and if you want to give a little bit more volume a little bit more you know lion look i just went ahead and flipped my hair over and just put my fingers in it and just played around with it this is very customizable you can have it as big as you want if you don't want to stretch your hair with it you don't got to if you don't want it too big or too fluffy you don't have to do that either because when you do it this way it probably won't last as long and they're gonna ask me how i'm sleeping girl pineapple method there after like night three i do have to retwist my hair but that is the look i hope you guys enjoyed this video and don't
