THE PERFECT TWIST OUT on Natural Hair | Slim Reshae

hey guys welcome back to my channel in today's video I'll be showing you guys my updated twist out routine it's not really a routine it's more like some products I've been trying out and the results came out pretty good if y'all see this sheen shine value and this is day one of hair so we are interested in this tutorial please keep on watching so today we are using the Luster's pink oil moisturizer this is like the throwback og hair moisturizer and I've learned recently that with using this product a moisturize my hair it leaves it very shiny so I'm just kind of raking this through each section of the hair then we're using the Maui moisture foaming cream and bags this foaming cream like it needs a moment of silence for how legit it is to detangle your hair and if you've been watching lately you know I've been eat angling my hair with the shampoo brush just like a dollar shampoo brush from the hair store and this combo with this brush in the mountain oysters coming cream baby boy baby girl this will change your life okay and so as you can see here like my curls are just clumping and doing their thing okay and then we're gonna take some coconut oil and this is just a coconut oil I had in the house and this is going to lock in that moisture next I'm taking the moisturizing curl activator cream from Cantu this is something I just decided to throw in there I really thought it was a curl elongate her but it's not and now I'm using the lessers paint this is their gel from their new shea butter and coconut wine and this just sealed everything to a tee and again as you're twisting your hair now you want to make sure you are continuing to brush it through your hair to make sure it is smooth because if it has any tangles in it it's not gonna come out as fine so I just finger coil the ends and this is pretty much what my twist is looking like freshly twisted before it starts shrinking and drying and all that good stuff and then an idea I got is to use these little clips that you use when you're like touching up dreadlocks this helped the roots of my hair stay flat and elongate it just a little bit so I continue to do this throughout my entire head and I'm just gonna I'm gonna show you me doing my entire head but I'm just gonna speed it up and put some music behind it because I'm literally doing the same thing each time I don't recall exactly how many twists I had in my head you can count them up during the video if you like but I just made sure each section or each twist had roughly the same amount of hair so they were bigger in the back smaller towards the front as you can see this whole back section only had three twists so you kind of just have to guesstimate based on your hair texture density and all that hair per square inch but this is just what I did and I continue doing it all across my head so I'll see y'all when we get to the front yes cuz I got some tips when you get to the front [Music] so once you get to the front under here I'm doing this all like towards my forehead and towards my face because I have cut some you know small ratchet bangs they're not really ratchet but I didn't get them professionally cut so that's why I say gratitude but I cut me some bangs and so here you see me sectioning kind of the entire front portion of my hair off to do twist and I'm doing three twists up here and as you can see the middle twist is connecting like I don't have a middle part the middle twist is going across my middle part because when you under your twist if you have that middle part in there it's not gonna like fall nicely as a vein so you kind of want to make sure you have all of this and it's gonna clump together nicely and you're not gonna have that awkward part that you can't get rid of and then as you see the second layer I kind of go in between kind of like brick parting I don't know if that's the thing but that's all I did and this is what my hair looks like when I'm finished and I actually went out the house like this guys will got it we got a lot of nobody honey all I did is slap a little hat on and I walk them right out with my twist because it's realistic that's what they look like so this is the next but Swiss are completely dry I did not sit under a hooded dryer for once so I was super excited to know that these literally dried in a day so I started doing my hair at the beginning of the day so you know around lunch time so it literally took an entire day for these to dry and then as you can see those clips were sometimes getting a little bit tangled within the twist so you just have to be careful when you place them in but look how juicy these twists look okay and then we're gonna add a little bit more coconut oil before we start detangling because we want to make sure we got that shine and we're trying to reduce frizz when we separate the hair so I'm just running this down the outside of the twist and then I'm just sectioning off the back so I can start with the back and I'm just rotating in the opposite direction separating at the top and boom that is how you under your twist if you borrow hair from either side of the twist as you're twisting down it is not gonna unravel like that so avoid borrowing hair when you're twisting okay so see we're just rotating in the opposite direction separating at the top pulling all the way down beard coiling the bottom in this definition honey honey honey this definition sorry I mean I heard you ears with that scream but this is five and so I decided to start separating my hair in each section instead of unraveling the entire thing and then sectioning them off this is before my hair before I started separating the individual twist like this so I decided to go ahead and do that while they were in sections so I would have to just do the entire head and then go back again and do the entire head I just you know kind of did it all that once and you see a little bit of frizz coming through but it's still super fine so we're just gonna keep doing that you know and I'll see you a little bit [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so I just thank you so honey we gotta stretch the hair you always ask me hi stretch my hair I have like a video on shrinkage and how to stretch your hair I'll link it up top in the top right hand corner of the video but I just want to include it in here so y'all can see but I literally just hold my blow-dryer on medium heat towards my roots and then I use a wide tooth comb or pick and pick the roots and then just fluff it out so I'm just doing this literally for maybe 10 seconds and it stretches my hair and then depending on what look you're going for you don't want to come all the way to the ends because it's gonna show more frizz but for me I wanted more volume and I didn't mind the frizz so I would come and pick out my hair from the roots almost to the ends but not going through the end so I'm just gonna keep on doing this and then in a little bit y'all will
