Getting Every Armor in Minecraft (it took 800 days)

so the other day I finished mining when I was like huh that's weird I have a single pork chop left let me go check my food chest and this is when I realized I have a bit of a problem I have four stacks of diamond blocks in my food chest and I didn't notice the diamonds were missing I'm trying to collect every combination of armor in Minecraft which is why I need so many diamonds for each piece I need to apply a trim which costs seven so for the past month I've been using an advanced Redstone flying machine at the bottom of the world mine diamond come look at this I'll show I'll show you how much I mined also we hit we hit the clutch oh yeah we're Pros look at this look at this this is massive I'm gonna fly down this entire tunnel and we're gonna speed up the footage by like 10 billion percent because that that's just how long it is I am out of rockets but I will run the rest of the way at the very end you'll see the giant redstone machine I've been using to mine diamonds I'm gonna be real with you guys I don't know where my flying machine went sorry I thought that was the end of our tunnel the reason there's no flying machine down there is because that wasn't my only tunnel this tunnel which is wider by the way is the one I bend down I think it's important to remember for every single block that I've traveled I've had to go boom press the note block button wait for the TNT to detonate and watch for Diamond but you might say wreck how many diamonds do you actually have and to that I am proud to show this clip okay okay look at this look at this inventory it looks like I've been abusing creative mode while I now have enough diamonds to make every suit of armor in the game we're not even close to being done you hear this music in the background it's creepy suspenseful because we've neglected one important thing netherrite and or four times rarer than diamond and only found in the nether I need over 900 ingots that's half a netherright beacon it's taken people a literal real-life year to get that much I had no idea what I've gotten myself into out of the four types of armor we have left Pretend This is nether I I'm poor I also Pretend This is a turtle helmet I don't have any of those yet but I think we're gonna start with gold because I have a lot of gold I'm gonna add a platform on this side I'm not sure if I want to make it out of Netherrack dirt or stone though I think I like the stone best although the main reason is it would just take too long to remove so we're keeping it man it's a lot more armor stands than I remember and that's looking kind of crazy don't you think it's really funny is all of this gold is a byproduct of getting diamonds how much of the five stacks of gold blocks we have do you think all of these armor stands I'll take I would say leave your guests in the comments but you're literally gonna see it in like three seconds well it got us less than I thought but still a pretty good amount I think I have a good technique to get the remaining gold I just need a couple totems of undying bastions and I've actually been doing a lot of speed running recently and so I kind of know exactly where I should go for the gold watch this watch this I'm gonna dig straight into the gold we go down here to the left straight forward bam and then if we dig this way we're gonna enter this tunnel and Bam four more blocks ago honestly nine gold blocks for a whole Bastion doesn't feel like that good of a deal although I do know there's one more chest down here it could possibly have you know like a golden chest plate you never know guys another example I'll take it oh another ration this is the best Bastion for gold dude I love peaceful there's no piglet oh my gosh dude I love looting bastions this is so sick I should play in peaceful mode more bro this is so fun dude that one piglet was making all the noise [Music] I think if anybody plays Minecraft they should learn where all the gold blocks and bastions are it's just op it's kind of like knowing how to trade at the villagers I was on a roll hitting bastions left and right before I knew it we had enough gold I thought I'd take my armor off here because I'm just kidding I meant to do that I really didn't want to walk back I'm sorry I lost those 120 levels I probably wasn't gonna use them anyways though now surely this will finish the gold armor and that's gold let's go let's go I guess the next thing on the agenda is actually putting the trims on if you've never seen trims before there's 10 colors and I need 16 sets of four for each row not only do you need the colors but you need the trims themselves and this is where it starts getting expensive it's seven per trim plus a block to duplicate it this block is different for every trim the Doom template for example needs Sandstone each chest you see has 40 trims in it I know this probably looks like the most boring progress ever but we did use a few diamonds both of these were filled to the brim with diamonds empty happens now if we take our smithing table we can actually look at a trim yeah this is an important Milestone we've done leather and chain Mill none of which have had trims of the same material but now we got gold armor with gold trim you can do this does something look wrong about this picture I was trying to go too fast and I made duplicates of the same armor that's the first time I've done that oh while I'm doing this I did see some comments saying some of my armor trims were out of place actually actually I got an I got two emails some of your armor terms were in the wrong spot I slowed it down to 0.25 playback speed tied an eye are swapped at lapis dang two of you guys caught that that's actually insane thank you oh yeah you see it you see it I know I I this real quick okay I'm going to get back to the goal and um oh yeah we did it I mean we're just gonna totally ignore this section that's gone but you know we did it iron next this time I think we'll put it on the right and I'm gonna make it out of dirt this time I know it might bug some people that they're not all the same color but I think it's more interesting if everything has its own face you know okay now we need some armor stands this is feeling eerily familiar to like an hour ago should we do a cool transition ready bam so from what we learned last time this isn't going to be enough iron is it to be fair we got done with a pretty big portion but unlike gold I I don't have a great way to get a ton of iron yeah I could make an iron farm but that just sounds kind of boring wait oh I bought iron armor wait I can buy iron armor so I need emeralds to trade for the iron armor look how many of these guys there are down here bro look at all of them look at all of them I just need to kill one guy come here killing the banner Pillager gives me the bad Omen effect which allows me to farm Emerald I then use the emeralds to buy the iron armor boom iron armor is done it's day 534 and we have iron armor finished well oh wait except for pants hold up did I get it I got it yeah yeah this video is only just starting and I feel like I put in a lot of work already oh this guy this guy had no idea what he was in for I know it can get kind of boring watching me put armor Trims on armor piece after armor piece after Arm review so I promise you it's more boring for me than it is for you but you are watching a video so we're gonna transition to the iron armor by doing this boom all the armor look the art iron armor that's how you speak Parker all of it's done well except for the netherite section but we'll forget about that for now that's gold done iron done I was thinking about putting diamond on the left hand side but I kind of have all of the chests full of diamond armor over here so I think we'll add it this way [Music] okay so we're gonna build this next section out of Netherrack and I'm trying to build in third person right now this is so hard oh my gosh now we just need some armor stands cool transition hopefully hopefully that was somewhat interesting last thing to do was to apply the trims all right are you ready for the coolest time lapse you've ever seen oh over here over here well get troll it's not the coolest time lapse you've ever seen I definitely forgot to record the time lapse of me putting on the armored shrooms but here's some cool footage of me mining diamonds I did this for like a month and feel like I showed none of the work boom diamond armor is done it was actually pretty fun I screamed this whole thing I I don't ever stream the big problem is netherrite I kind of skipped all the nether eye on diamond iron and gold why me I mean we have two slots on on this but that doesn't really count so I kind of need a good way to get netherite we have like one 15 ancient debris some other stuff over here all together we have 30 netherrite which like isn't bad don't get me wrong but it's not anywhere near what we need as much as I like using beds to find ancient debris I have a feeling TNT might be a bit more efficient I'm not entirely sure though so I want to do an hour test see I'm gonna change the debris I get from bed explosions and see how much I get from TNT but I only had two TNT which is it's definitely not enough for an hour so I pulled up good old Google and researched creeper Farms the design I went with is by shulker Craft it says it gets 3 100 gun power an hour but it takes kind of a few resources to build okay you guys see how it's 10 43 p.m I'm gonna try and finish this before like midnight so I can go to bed and then wake up in the morning with stacks of gunpowder one of the bigger things is I need 2 000 blocks and I know a lot of people like to use like a clean cool looking type of block like maybe smooth Stone no we're going Netherrack maybe a bit of dirt honestly anything to to fill in the space I don't really care how oh oh here's a tricky thing I need 800 trap doors trap doors are expensive like a stack of wood gets us 20 trapdoors oh my goodness I'm gonna have to go D4 so much which by the way I've been doing this entire Mountain used to be completely forced we're being a bit of a menace to Nature currently it's 11 11 p.m I think we can get this done before midnight I I I guess just time for a cool time lapse question mark it's 1207 in the morning so we didn't quite hit the goal but I think it's done and ready for a test foreign I just woke up we've AFK all night I'm starving Let's uh let's stop this turn it on Peaceful real quick curious how much gunpowder we got oh yeah oh yeah why is there a lead in here did I kill a llama and there's snowballs did some of the snowmen die no did some of it blew up what I mean I guess at least it so worked somewhat we do have gunpowder but I now need an equal amount of sand which is I should probably find a desert on the way back or I mean a beach I have a tactic that I saw in an Ethos Lab video I'm not sure how well it's gonna work but instead of mining sand he blows it up and I I think how much does one TNT get us one TNT gets us two stacks of sand okay that's definitely worth it right what if I put it like too lower how much how much sand does this get me two and a half stacks of Sand Dude That's so worth it my shovel's already broken so I'm I'm definitely gonna do this we already crafted up all the gunpowder that took like three minutes bro alrighty let's put an hour on the clock and see how much stuff we get [Music] one hour of TNT exploding and we have a stack and 46 ancient debris honestly not as much as I was expecting but hopefully it's not too bad now for the one hour of bed exploding dude okay this is really funny I just did the math if we had enough bed explosives to do the entire hour we would have a stack and 43 from one hour of TNT we got a stack and 46. basically identical like I thought I thought honestly the TNT would be way more but I think if you're just going ham placing all of the beds like I was it's actually pretty efficient so now it's just a matter of do I want to collect more TNT or more beds and I think I like TNT better so I'm gonna use the rest of this shulker box and see how much I needed to debris I spent all of that day like like literally all of that day 10 hours plus mining ancient difference and then before I went to bed I sent my computer to AFK creepers what I found the next morning shocked me probably have a bit of morning voice I literally just woke up but do you see all of this guy gunpowder do you see all of this gun so I crafted it all up and went back to the nether to continue mining I basically spent every waking minute Mining netherrite and I really came to hate lava Ravines they're everywhere in another you have to mine around them to explode TNT so sometimes I I would literally just fly through the lava Ravine up into the air and then just try and find another place one of the coolest things I found while mining ancient debris is if you have a pickaxe with mending on it and you're absorbing XP like via TNT you physically cannot mine a block that's so fun I always made sure to bind the blocks behind netherite because there's a good chance there's extra but throughout these long hours I got a bit Reckless and came close to depth several times holy crap it has been like six hours and I have I have I have a pretty solid amount of ancient debris look at this one two three four five six seven and a bit I I honestly thought I had more than that but but I'm also at negative 10 000 on my coordinates I I'm not gonna fly all the way back so even though I have 208 levels I I think this is more valuable for my time hey and we're back dude look at this chest 19 Stacks 19. we need 60. we're two days in I want to finish this in a week so we're we're definitely on Pace oh and so far I've broken 123 Flint and steals isn't that crazy the next morning things started blending together I would craft up my TNT go to the mines blow up ancient debris AFK again my ancient debris rinse the three is done and I think it did pretty well for being at my grandparents cabin for like half of the day we have the seven stacks of ancient debris the start of day four and I I just thought this was really cool look at all of the shulker boxes all of these are full of gunpowder and then I got some TNT and this desert oh this desert's about to get blown to smithereens two so we only wasted almost all of the day it's day 753 and I have a lot of ancient debris every furnace has a stack of ancient debris look at this one stack of netherite oh wait I don't have enough gold I just used my last rocket but we got a ton of goodies look at all of this I got seven trims another eight Ingot 13 ancient debris on accident and like a bajillion gold dude boom boom boom look at my inventory what asked over a stack of netherrite blocks bro hold on I have an idea I have a full netherite Beacon doesn't this look crazy what I mean it's it's a it's a poor man's not the right Beacon but a poor man's another right Beacon nonetheless I just have one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven blocks and then it's a full Beacon which honestly I'll probably need but I'm gonna tear down the beacon because I really want to see this on the armor trims over there although I gotta say these are the most satisfying block to place oh that sounds so good Wowzer that took 10 minutes to play some break oh yeah it looks pretty cool all of that for yeah it looks pretty cool oh man there's nothing crazy it's just a couple of black pixels but I have worked so hard for these black pixels with that diamond armor is official oh whoops diamond armor is officially done I only wasted this match Netherland out of all of these I don't think I've messed up and then I messed up six times with netherrite that's six nether writing gifts dude that's it's so sad it's so sad [Music] dang so diamond iron leather and chain are all done all throughout applying the armor trims I've had to gather an assortment of block like purple because you use purpur to duplicate a small section of the trim also yes this is when I filled in that messed up section on the goal gold is finally done now we move on to the hard part netherrite duh I don't know why I'm so stressed out I need to plan where do we where do we put the netherite armor I think we just put it above leather that that seems like the most logical place to do it [Music] wow we are really getting high holy problem I forgot about was to make the netherite armor we we need this amount of diamonds so I went back to villager trading only to realize one of them had died so I infected them all with zombies and then cured them this way I just get lower prices even though I have less Villages and it totally worked out hey dude you're messing up my time lapse sheep oh my God and I missed it and I missed it I missed it oh and there's the last one okay that was convenient uh oh yeah it's cheap now so now that we have some diamond armor I want to see what it's like applying nether because believe it or not we we haven't made any netherite is this how oh why did I make pants first I don't know yo we got the achievement after 700 two days just a 160 more to go and for every piece of netherite we need a smitting upgrade are you ready for a magic trick I call watch all of my diamonds disappear boom bang pop boom all the diamonds are gone and we have six stacks of netherite upgrades wow that's that looks crazy we are making progress slowly but surely that tiny sliver of netherite for the next hour or so my life was by diamond armor disenchanted apply netherrite and put it on the armor stands we don't have all of the netherite yet but all the diamond armors bought were like 75 80 maybe 85 done after another full IRL day of grinding I finally had enough I'm out of gold what how there's no way I'm out of gold again bro what I mean I know this project it's massive but I didn't think it was that massive Bastion spotted and gold lots of gold 31 blocks of netherite that's gotta be enough right [Music] oh my gosh this is crazy bro I have a stacking 26 to spare not really though because we still have to put netherrite trim on netherite Armor this is actually the thing I've been most excited for like can you imagine what it's gonna look like it's gonna look so dumb to be fair you can see something but you can't see it very well this is my favorite though this is my favorite this is the hardest Flex you can have in Minecraft it's day six I know we're so unbelievably close but I feel like I should be responsible and totally ignore this because we still need Turtle helmets and I I have no idea how to get a turtle helmet I'm pretty sure I had one here at some point but it's gone so I flew toward my RAID farm and Creeper Farm were because I knew there were lots of beaches nearby and I'm pretty sure that's where Turtles are turtles spotted so I got to work Gathering some seagrass so I could breed the turtles and then building a sanctuary out of the local Birchwood dude it's like the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michelangelo Donatello Raphael Mike wait I said Michelangelo my Empire expands the turtles started laying eggs but I needed them to hatch to get Scoops this will be my first ever Turtle hatchback oh my gosh we got a baby turtle wait wait wait wait wait that means there's a scoot somewhere right where did you drop your scoop good sir where no sir no I think the scoot must have despawned bro no no there's the scoot oh wait oh the scoot happens when the turtle grows up not when it hatches turns out my turtle knowledge wasn't great so I looked on the wiki and it takes four to five in-game days to hatch I was in for a lot of waiting while I'm waiting as might as well look up some oh wait wait oh we just missed it bro dude we just missed it they're so tiny where are they going I will see you when you return they literally just disappear behind them dude there's even more and then they started growing up I have enough scoots to make it to a limit I've actually never had one of these I don't even get an achievement listen to that sound all right I'm gonna actually build the farm now so I guess we just take all of the eggs cool I have two stacks of bags I I think that's enough to start a farm first we need a clear area that looks pretty good and we need a 40 long stretch of sand oh and then while we're building the rest of the farm we can put the turtles into Hatch so I need end rods for this farm right and I was like where am I gonna get end rods I'm gonna have to make a trip out to the end oh wait a second I planted these here for no reason but now they're coming in clutch because we can smelt them water some Blaze and Craft end rods [Music] okay that's the farm done well I guess we need to add a chest but adding a chest is easy boom now the Farm's done so I think we just wait for these to grow yo we already got Turtles they're all they're lined up perfectly too what the heck we got more holy [Music] [Applause] I think we might have enough Turtles I'm just gonna remove this wall and the farm should be operational so I believe if I hop in the mine cart and I hold right click down the farm is not working which is great because now I can go AFK I've been meaning to go on a bike ride for a while we don't talk about the sound that you're hearing this Farm doesn't suffocate Turtles nope how many scoots have we got though 10 sacks we need 12 sacks so we're basically there dang I'm getting wood for the last bit of armor stands but I've never shown this there's a naturally generating pink sheep like a hundred blocks away from my house like that's so sick dude I'm putting in the armor stands for the turtle helmets and I'm I'm about to ruin your day there's a four block gap between leather and chain one two three four and uh one two three block gap between iron and leather and I haven't noticed the entire time we're rolling with it though because I am not moving this was by far the worst part of the recording not because it took a lot of time but because I had to craft 50 of each armor trim to finish Turtle helmets and netherite armor I'd spent a month mining diamonds it had a full chest of diamond blocks after all I thought I'd done my math over and over but as time went on I began to realize imagine if I didn't have enough diamonds for all of this I would like cry I thought I had more than enough diamonds I might not have enough Diamonds oh no dude please tell me I have enough diamonds [Music] oh I was short 13 stacks of diamonds well I guess there's nothing to do but go mine and here the machine is right where I left it with all of the lava that I thought I wouldn't have to drain ah it was 10 or 11 o'clock at night at this point and I wanted to do anything else but mine diamonds but this was what I signed up for so I got back to work and it was strange knowing this was the last time I would use the machine my last time pressing that note block last time watching that TNT it was finally about to be over oh my gosh please I just need 10 more I can make nine more are you kidding me I'm one short bro surely surely surely I I need six diamonds surely I have six diamonds somewhere surely oh there's one oh wait aha that's all the trims that's all the trims dude netherrite looks so good it's all so vibrant dude another eye on netherright every single time I look at it I'm just gonna laugh like look at this look at that it looks the same you remember when I was like that's my last sunrise yeah that was like five days ago now the right is done all this left are scoots all that's left are scoots [Music] award for most Blended in goes to this helmet look at that change isn't that crazy dude it's the last 10 Trends oh my gosh this is the last amethyst trim I'll ever do last another right I'll ever do lapis iron diamond quartz Redstone emerald and last but not least copper Turtle helmet I'm done oh my gosh oh dude it looks so good oh my gosh dude you know what you know what it seems only fitting that I take my diamond armor yes I've seen the comments I haven't upgraded to another right we're gonna use another right trim on netherite Armor because that's how you know somebody's put it a ton of work
