I survived 24 hours in the deep dark

down there down there is the deep dark not a fun place the deep dark is home to one monster the ward and since i'm surviving there for the next 24 hours with nothing let's see how much damage it does that's a lot all right we'll try iron how much damage you surely surely die yeah you need full protection to diamond armor to survive one hit so i invited my friend to survive with me as bait i mean a partner where are you okay here we go and we already have a problem okay why i'm crouching i thought these things couldn't hear me if i crouched the skulk sensor walking anywhere near it it says yo i hear that hey shrieker you should summon a warden normally skulks can't hear you when crouching but we're filming a youtube video guess what makes sound is it hearing the torch it's hearing the tour yet i still decided to loot a chest oh thankfully shriekers are like baseball you get three strikes before you're out except out means dead i hear i hear a voice i hear a voice oh frenzy frenzy where are you dude i've already looted a chest i got food you have i got glue okay oh oh oh don't don't hold the glow berries and activate stuff no no no no no no i'm gonna get our first pieces of wood we have to do this at least oh and it didn't it didn't shut off a shrieker okay we're fine up here come up here this is our safe spot okay i'm going to mark this as home with this soul torch this is home now wait actually friends you activated another streaker that's pretty much how the first day went we summoned warden after war did you know wardens can climb up ladders yeah me neither this is the most terrifying experience i've had since i was nine years old also this is hardcore mode if we die once the world is deleted so it is vital we find a place to settle down oh boy he's right there wait did he get across the bridge not yet we should get bows too if we can get bows how are we gonna get string string isn't the only problem because there's only two options for food glowberries which suck and wheat which happens to be at the surface but the entire surface is deep dark there are no animals no villages so we decided to split up i would mine while bransy searches for more food i'll meet you back here okay bye don't die brandon i would normally cut here because it takes a while for something interesting to happen but not here after his extremely successful food operation i decided to go to the surface to get some wheat seeds iron let's go yes seeds oh frick okay stay away from the streaker oh no and that was the end of my surface adventures so i went back down branzie was still alive and we made a wheat farm [Music] how have we gotten this far i don't know at this point we decided to trap the warden i mean all we had done was build a wheat farm and maybe it was the feeling of progress that led us astray but here's the plan we're gonna lure him over with a jukebox then drop a pile of gravel on him and hope he dies if this works this is gonna be so funny i think i spawned him oh i definitely spawned him come here warden [Music] um little did we know the warden is lava proof like what we spent an hour strip mining waiting for the warden to go away then we went straight back to looting the agency but i promise you i will kill a warden by the end of this video assuming i don't die watch how fast this stuff breaks watch this it's nice oh my gosh look at that here wait branzie we should do a test ready see if you can take out that shrieker over there before it notices you like just sprint in like a wild maniac and just go and just delete it yeah i i'm the one for this test absolutely go go go go go go go go go go go didn't even didn't even see it coming with a new strategy under our belt we decided to just loot the entire city is it empty oh wow oh my gosh you take an enchanted apple i'll take one efficiency for it oh take that hoe oh let's go that was the best chest ever we were taking out shriekers left and right looting all of the chests but there was one section that was different than the rest i think i see ice oh yeah there's like pressure place you see that like right by those note blocks oh i do see them yeah there are places there's that place is trapped it's definitely ice i'm gonna shift down the stairs okay run i still want to check out that no block stuff but it's like kind of dangerous oh i see him i see him i just saw the top of his head he's like directly past the note blocks i got this i got this i'm going to sneak over there's pressure plates everywhere ramsay okay careful careful got him nice and activated another one okay oh he's right there he's right there go go go go go go go go we'll come back again later i'm breaking in brazil i'm breaking in i'm breaking in break through the walls oh my gosh they're snowballs too now this was huge golden carrots this would allow us to make night vision potions in the future but for now we still have to loot the rest of the city go go go go go go go go go let's go there's a room here yo redstone yo there's glass down here there's so much redstone here yes dude there's a target block here too it's like a redstone museum how did i not know about it sadly there weren't any op chests in the secret room but we had looted the entire city and had not one but two wheat farms dude there's so much wheat oh my gosh finally here take that one no it's fine i'm good you take them all oh how do you not use food i'm constantly hungry it's like i'm a constant state how much food have you eaten i've eaten three pieces of bread two pieces actually i've eaten two pieces of bread two yeah feeding 12. hour four we found a skulk sensor in a chest and wanted to do some experiments with it so we've created an entirely wool room so that no sound would leak out the science room piano [Music] that was from asdf we learned some interesting things like spyglasses don't activate the skulk sense but then the room caught on fire oh yeah science room is burning if we're gonna fight a ward in one of these days we need some armor and for armor we need an enchanting table look at that enchanter dude one thing we learned early on is that scope blocks give a ton of xp so even though there weren't any mobs to fight we were getting to level 30 faster than a normal world still though we didn't have any diamonds to make tools or armor which we really needed so i went mining and exploring in caves only to find another ruined city france ramsay yo yeah i found another finding a second ancient city was perfect we had the diamonds we had the xp all we needed was books and the only place to get them ancient cities hidden city i mean ancient city oh so many books 19 books dude and a lead and that might be enough do you want to go back yeah yeah also streamer went off so let's go let's go we made it back home um only to realize we were out of wood so we went back together we got all the wood we needed but if we're in the area and there's more loot to be had why not go for some more oh and let's get the the one at the top of this fountain thing too oh it's water oh boy ah shrieker okay let's go let's go let's leave it go down go down it's not a fountain it's just a water cave okay that's good to know i'm gonna drown i'm gonna drown correct i'm gonna drown correct friends around get down get down the ladder swim you have to swim down the ladder you have to swim i'm gonna swim i'm gonna swim i'm gonna live i'm gonna survive how many hearts are you at how many hours i can't that was way too close dude as per usual we summoned a warden on the way out but we made it back home safely and had a long overdue enchanting session hey we got fortune let's go i just got protection for oh at this point the tides completely turned we had full enchanted diamond armor and for the next two or three hours we looted ancient city after ancient city and got so much blue some of which were books enchanted with the swift sneak enchantment which is the new enchantment that prevents the warden from hearing you like it's the best enchantment for the deep dark but we tried to put it on the boots and it didn't go on we weren't sure if it was the snapshot that wasn't working or just us oh my gosh what what put it on leggings you put swiftseek on leggings what legs are you kidding me [Music] also i have something to show you i got a shrieker what how did you get a sweeper just so touch dude i suck up to it really that's terrifying that is terrifying i'm gonna put him in a chest because i don't want any accidents i feel like now we're in a spot where we should just reclaim this and by reclaim i mean remove all of the skull fill in the entire ground with dirt and fix up every single building so we got straight to work gathering as much dirt as we possibly could by hour 10 we had four double chests of dirt so we started placing but you know when you have those conversations while doing such a mind-numbing task that it really doesn't make sense this is one of those my question is could you take four penguins yourself in a fight well branzie what do you think is harder fighting 12 feet of penguin or a warden i think i can fight it ramsay don't you dare don't even well the warden won that fight but we really got in the groove with placing dirt you might as well call me a professional dirt placer by hour 11 we had 60 of the dirt placed and decided it was a good idea to test out restoring an entire building so we put our heads down took a few creative liberties and came up with this yo yo this is looking sick some parts however um it was really hard to tell what it was meant to look like oh gosh how do i still though we pressed on some were a bit easier to replicate and some well i really couldn't tell what the heck it was but by hour 12 we had some great progress yeah this looks pretty good we did good work yeah we did and we were 12 hours in okay technically 11 but that doesn't really matter intermission go get your snacks refuel oh wait for the stop absolutely oh he timed that perfectly [Music] no honestly i was shocked more than anything 12 hours in and my only friend dies so i hopped in a vc with him to see exactly how he died let me say it's not green oh you're you're getting awfully high there branzy well there's a skeleton when he decides and that was the end of branzy he's now in spectator mode but it wasn't all bad because that reminded me i could use a spectator account to get some cool cinematic shots of me rebuilding the city don't these look amazing doesn't it make you just want to like subscribe or something yeah okay we're now at hour 18. [Music] so i don't know if you can tell but i've been going at this for about eight hours now and i'm getting a little bored so we're gonna change it up a bit and we're gonna attempt to kill a warden now i've consulted with the minecraft elders and i've come up with a few things we need first apples i'd eat a lot more enchanted golden apples a lot more golden apples i'm not planning on dying second we need to make a shield and third this is definitely not recommended by the minecraft elders but branzi had a dream and i'm going to attempt to put a warden on a lead there we go sharpness fine okay my heart is starting to pound a little bit more right here i almost summoned the warden but i'm not gonna lie i got nervous i had three enchanted golden apples to my name and i didn't think it was enough which is kind of crazy but i did some rough calculations you know i had to hit him at least 20 times i'd have to eat every other one so i wanted around 10 enchanted golden apples before i did that though i thought it was a good idea to get some night vision potions so i could raid more efficiently so i went to the nether and guess what i found yo it's actually here okay okay that's three extra enchanted golden apples let's go yes potion of night vision this is gonna be so useful for fighting the warden enchanted golden apple okay okay i'll take two yeah i had eight apples no more excuses it was time to actually summon the warden and risk the entire world i'm not actually sure how you go about summoning one of these i assume though you just need a couple stroke blocks for the warden to spawn you need a sensor you need a shaker right so i'm either doing the science wrong or something's broken with these when you silk touch them i'm just gonna go to a new cave and i guess fight it there okay we're just gonna summon him by drinking our potions okay there we go there we go there we go there we go get him hit him [Music] oh my gosh okay okay okay [Music] holy bricks [Music] okay another enchanting cap let's get soon three crits in oh my gosh oh my okay okay [Music] oh my he broke my helmet he broke he actually broke my helmet holy crap holy crap oh gosh i almost died he went through eight enchanted golden purples like what at this point i could have called it quits i could have sat in my house the rest of the two hours but no i needed to restore my minecraft honor when fighting the warden i hid inside a wall like a little chicken i was gonna fight him a second time and this time not chicken out don't got this [Music] [Music] that's three shields [Music] oh let's freaking go take it warden get out of here this is my house as the hours came to a close and i placed my final few blocks i took a second to think about this challenge it was so fun it's like playing minecraft again for the first time running from the warden is literally the most scared minecraft has made me since i was 9 years old playing for the first time it brought back memories of me playing with my dad and my brothers and honestly try out the challenge it's so fun has it updated yo one full day also consider subscribing we're so close to a million kind of epic
