George loved blueberries and the best blueberries anywhere came from rankin's farm there you go George easy where's mrs. renkins today oh she's round other side of the barn with her balloons this day just kept getting better was Bill joking no one had any balloons oh you're just in time to help inflate it that sounds like fun you want to help inflate the balloon George inflate it where was it grab a hole there and lift her up it was right here one great big balloon as big as a barn you can help do George okay I'll be right back boys and then we'll take off mrs. renkins we may have a rules violation here oh gosh we gotta follow up oh boy I know now don't worry I'm gonna help you this is what happens if you don't follow the rules getting stronger you can tell from that flag down there could be worse huh at least the winds not blowing us toward the ocean oh no the wind changed it's blowing towards the sea you know what that means well yeah seagulls but also we're gonna float across the ocean depressing right learning and speak the language and hate the food I wish I knew how you city could stay so cool under pressure what is it hey pull that cork it will open up the vent and you little worried but there's a proper way to worry without panicking my camera oh I forgot to take pictures that's a great one George you took the pictures for me if I didn't and you did [Music] thanks for helping me with the nature week exhibit George we'd like to see the tracks of all the animals that live around here the swim mask oh I'm gonna go jump in the lake to conduct the nature week fish survey by George wished his photos were more exciting but there weren't many exciting animals around here hey George what you doing Wow I see you've got almost every local animal lets up that far and I've seen in the hills a foreign is a baby deer but you don't see too many of them in the city huh fawn was just the special unusual animal George was looking for come on I'll show you where to find it George still hadn't seen the fawn or learn what its tracks looked like these were the biggest tracks George had seen so far something extra large must have left them they looked like big duck tracks a big duck would make a terrific photo [Music] this was like the long track the garter snake made [Music] the giant dug with a snake's tail would make an even better picture but a huge snake with duck feet would be the most incredible photo of all maybe it swam back home George remembered he'd seen big tracks like these there they were dinosaur tracks a duck-billed dinosaur and the tracks were headed towards Bill's house hiya George did you see the farm [Music] see yeah I guess those do look like dinosaur tracks yep my new boots were hurting my feet so I put these on to walk to the lake I told you I was going swimming remember hey now I know what it's like to walk in a dinosaur's footsteps with no hungry dinosaurs around George still needed that special photo for nature week it sounded like jumpy was hungry again but George had enough pictures of that squirrel [Music] for such big animals those deer left pretty small tracks hey deer tracks wow you used fruits and vegetables to lure the deer to our house so you could take photos look at these wonderful dear how did you manage to capture such amazing photos George oh you know George he just used his imagination isn't that right a cornucopia of exotic comestibles [Music] blueberries are my favorite push-based fruit come on George [Music] it looks like you all forgot the County sprout rules rule number one never eat any plant that you're not 100% certain is safe and that means consulting the edible plants guidebook um no it means getting an okay from an adult right rule number two plants are living things you can kill or hurt them if you're too rough so don't pull on them and don't break any branches come on why is the screen flickering either the earth is off its axis or I forgot to charge the batteries okay George can you climb that tree and see where we are and bill bill bill where are you going don't worry I've got my handy backup compass this way folks built a sprout never leaves the trail that bet that's rule number three in this direction green in this direction George couldn't believe what he was seeing someone was trying to break that branch somebody was not being a sprout no this man was wrecking a tree [Music] hey are you a monkey cool I always wanted a monkey but my mother said no George had to do something and fast this tree was in trouble [Music] Hey return the headgear monkey George didn't mean for the hat to get wet or the man but George couldn't wait around he had to check on that tree George wished he could think of a way to get the branches back on the tree he needed something sticky really sticky Mike I'm sorry I left you in that tree Oh dr. green-bean nice to see you sorry we're late we've had a rough day tell me about it first this monkey ran off with my hat and now my tree lopper has vanished hey what's going on well put mud on this George so dr. green-bean was cutting some branches and you thought he was hurting the tree oh you should have asked oh wait oh you're a monkey well anyway this is called pruning you make a careful cut and it doesn't hurt the tree at all [Music] hey mr. sprout master according to this you're going the exact wrong wait you're going the right way so what do you think very impressed I'm glad you liked it George oh we should go the rocket presentation is starting soon are you coming with us George or do you want to stay here and watch the clock oh well if it's okay with Professor Wiseman it's okay with me if you want to see the little people play again move the minute-hand once around to twelve have fun how long does it take to build a clock like that oh about three years oh that reminds me huh I'll be right back George be a good little monkey exactly George wanted to see the little people again that looked like George's friend compass the almost homing pigeon because when all the other homing pigeons honed in on the statue then he almost made it [Applause] [Music] it was compass all right George was happy to see his friend the pigeon he couldn't fix the minute-hand and that's what made the little people play George remembered there was another way into the clock the back [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] when you take something apart it's a good idea to pay attention to what went where where could George find out how a clocks parts go together the library of course he hopes studying the big clock would show him exactly what to do with the little clock [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] George was glad that noise had stopped [Music] [Applause] whose clothes are these okay and this goes there now you see ah what a beautiful clock did you make it I know everything about clocks but not one thing about understanding monkey George how did this heavy-metal toolbox get soap it was a perfect day for sitting on the balcony drawing birds and eating grapes and drinking juice George had seen a lot of birds but none wearing one of those bird had seen a lot of animals but none doing that he wasn't going anywhere till he figured out what kind of animal George was [Music] Jorge be careful out there hold on just because he came back here doesn't make this his home homing pigeons have special homes oh that's the pizza wash up Jorge he needs to go home this just isn't a good home for pigeons if that's how it had to be then Jorge returned their home into a good home for pigeons [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] it wasn't perfect yet comebacks good to see you yeah compass is an almost homing pigeon he won't admit he has a weak sense of direction George the doorman is the pigeons friend he came to take him home to his real home everybody goes home see he's back where he belongs I bought it for birds to sit in so you can draw them nice effort George but birds want to sit in a real tree compass look a real tree for you make yourself at home [Music] the pigeons still didn't know what George was but he sure made a good tree [Music] the world was full of surprises but forged a never imagined anything like this this was the museum's first robot exhibit so what do you think George [Music] [Applause] [Music] so easy or what I want 10 has a delicate enough grip to perform surgery or do this now over here are examples of what people imagine robots would be this is where we'll put your rare models you will have them here before the opening tonight Hundley liked robots so much that's how George got the idea to make a robot for Hundley to play with [Music] it worked humbly thought George was a real robot [Music] the robotic for a whole hour was tiring George was ready to get out of that thing but he didn't want to ruin it for Harley by letting him say the robot wasn't real since he couldn't reach the button George decided to relax and wait till the elevator came oh hi professor hi I just came to pick up a small red robot you mean the one in the lobby he said two inches tall but I guess he meant uh two feet [Music] there was the elevator finally George Gonsalves oh I left it right here Oh No someone must have kicked it check the floor I don't think you could kick that thing across the room oh sure you could it's only two inches tall you mean two feet I know the difference between inches and feet professor there's a runaway robot upstairs it's small red and says X F 17 on the side you got the controls what controls it has no moving parts George professor Wiseman brought you to the museum because she thought you were my X F 17 yeah your outfits so good you almost ended up on exhibit hey that's a great idea huh we promised an X F 17 model we never said it wouldn't be monkey powered and that's how George became a museum exhibit for a day [Applause] how'd you enjoy the show George heard all the different breeds fascinating would you like to see the winners up close George got a big surprise because when he actually looked at the big ones and the small ones and the crazily hairy ones he thought the dog show was great have you ever seen so many unforgettable dogs before well it looks like you had fun I hope he wasn't too much trouble he was no trouble at all wow that's great to hear got a run see you tomorrow thanks so much bye-bye so you like the dog show George wanted to tell the man about all the unforgettable dogs he saw [Laughter] but he only remembered three it's okay you can tell me later Oh would you do me a big favor and mail these letters I made a sandwich if you're hungry and when I'm done I want to hear about all the dogs Jorge was afraid he wouldn't be able to tell the man more because no matter how hard he tried he could only remember three there was only one solution [Laughter] [Music] but no matter how many times George looked at those dogs he couldn't remember more than three there was obviously no way a monkey could remember them all that a German could I see the owners of the winners over here please briskly briskly with spirits play there were three big three small and three hairy dogs George and what are you doing [Music] new spread George there are like 20 dogs in here George remembered all the dogs so where did these 3 + 3 + 3 9 dogs come from just so happy they're all back in all safe well everyone's back where they belong [Music] stop the car Haley's in there [Applause] [Music] George was conducting an important experiment testing the bounce factor of the living room furniture this part of the couch made a different sound that wasn't the couch it sounded big it sounded heavy and it came from up there [Laughter] [Music] you must have heard our new neighbor walking around he moved in last week what George had heard seemed heavier than footsteps what are you doing George you must have heard our neighbor walking that's all it could be it's not like he's got some wild animal up there the man with the yellow hat lived with George so why couldn't the new neighbor live with an animal what kind [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] of course the new neighbor had brought home an elephant the man with the yellow hat had to hear this you dreamt about an elephant oh no more nature books before you go to sleep George they're obviously giving you strange dreams yes hi there were your downstairs neighbors and oh so nice to meet you [Music] what's he doing I think he's looking for your elephant my wat oh we heard some loud sounds very loud sounds very loud oh hi hi I'm so sorry sometimes I get carried away working on my art I am an artist I do murals I mix my paint here [Music] [Applause] then I use these rubber stamps I made [Music] here's one of my completed works [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh but we also heard something like a bag of rocks dropping do you use rocks in your work no oh that was a bag of groceries it fell off the counter what on a C's there sounds like an elephant finger-painting oh it does [Music] [Applause] [Music]
