Blarkborne - Episode 1: Monkey Blood

[Music] i am so beyond ready for this we finally got our grubby little pasty little hands on a ps4 we're going to play blood bornicus by the same people who made dark souls we have a fun gimmick for this stream andrew got all gussied up today and we're going to bless up bless us up some holy water that's right to drink during the stream uh i legally am whatever denomination of priestliness that i can bless holy water here i have exercised water that i previously exercised today and then i also have a consecrated salt which i also did earlier today there's a number of prayers you have to say i didn't know it was going to be salty water so we're going to be drinking vaguely salty very blessed water it'll be so blessed and of course the thing to note we're going to bless it in the monkey book obviously and we're going to i've got my red food dye here too so we can make it bloodly and later on if we feel like not drinking salty red water that has been touched by human hands then we can make a monkey blood mixer my jaw dropped when i saw him outside my front door today i was i was like oh i had the sunglasses and he's got his big moonshine jar oh yeah i've got my uh beetle's mug i'm gonna use lovely i'm gonna fill it up now look it's being filled up with exercise water here there's this water is free of spirits and don't think that you're not going to see him do some funky [ __ ] to this water too i was like i hope we didn't like miss out on like whatever weird [ __ ] you have to do he has a goddamn what do you even call this a bunch of latin written down that he's gonna read off he's gonna read a little bedtime story to our water are there rules about drinking holy water uh you put it on your lips i know they drink the blood of christ and we're gonna break flesh so exactly like dark souls 3. actually it's awesome it's different they love their like gothic aesthetic and i can respect that and now there's manhole covers too so we know that in this universe there and that are the the new untapped ground also we got a bunch of puzzles pebbles i actually like also like i'm such a sucker for cathedrals and like that architecture style so i'm like eating this up yeah and uh we do know about demon souls remastered by the way which is or it's like uh it's like a remake yeah it might have it might not even be called remastered but uh very excited about that we will be playing that version probably it sucks we like we were struggling so hard to get a ps4 and then we finally got one and now it's like oh the ps5 is out it's demon souls remake is exclusive to it whoops guess who better buy a ps5 hey thank god be a strong foe therefore remember fire oh is he playing a strong boat that way should i wait until i have fire oh boy okay oh boy i'm gonna go this somebody we casually mentioned at one point and we got like a comment on that video of somebody saying wait was that real did bart meet anthony fantano yes he did yeah i i like hosted an event when he came to seattle once like a little when he was a little bit smaller and uh he's a he's a really stand-up guy really nice guy he blew up recently yeah he's he's very famous now and he always he like him and leah and uh they were both there and they were playing draw my thing which he had a couple videos about and i was sure he was gonna make a video with me in it but then right after he left i said something like oh donkey left and then leah went you knew it was him the whole time and then they both left and then i don't know and i never heard anything about it and i was like oh did i ruin it dang that's actually so sad because they thought i was just a rando but he said that's why my username is the king of bees on so many things is because it was that was my username at the time and he said you truly are the king of bees and i was like oh i got christened chris by donkey as my own username the dunky man himself oh that dog zooped from the [ __ ] nether that sucks wow did you see the stream it was a really cool stream that's right but uh he was talking about angry birds and he was like oh yeah if you play with bluestacks like the version of angry birds that's now available to play is so like micro payment micro micro transaction based oh really rather than being remember the like version in chrome that was just like every level for free yeah that was so awesome apparently that's not available anymore i remember we like went camping once oh yeah i remember distinctly played a ton of angry birds like right when it first came out it was like deception pass i think it was after it been out for a little while maybe it was like on my kindle fire or something and we i remember there was one level in particular that was like birthday cake themed and we had the like it was like the small orange bird that puffs up into a big bird and we were stuck on that for ages we just like couldn't get past this one level you get the item that's on one of the rats oh check that elevator elevator elevator that's got to be the other side of that elevator right that we saw earlier all right it's gotta be oh you know we're going you know what i'm talking about we're going somewhere hey what's the other end of that elevator oh it's guys oh look the boulder dude watch out there's going to be a big flaming ball that's going to roll down great eye it's well it's the same
