Everybody Was Scum Fu Fighting

so today we're doing three crusty dusty fighting games last time we did some on emulator but now we're gonna do them on real consoles we've got an nes we've got a snes we got a gemisis we got andrew andrew say a word i'm a console this first game we're playing is i saw something here it is it's kart fighter is this a is that like mario and luigi yeah mario and luigi no it's it's not an official mario game this is a bootleg uh this was a yeah so there are some people there's a company that made a d make of street fighter 2 on the nes so street fighter 2 was on the super nintendo and he's he's pogging he's looking at the name yasi and ferrari they basically made a version of street fighter 2 the d make with sprites that resemble characters from super mario kart on the super nintendo okay boy start an option yeah so you may notice it just says option that's because there are no options it's only an option oh it's just the ai difficulty so all three okay cause we won't be fighting ai right now we got chun li peach some of these characters resemble street fighter characters and some of them just don't like dk junior is kind of like zangief and mario and luigi are like ken and ryu everyone else i don't really [ __ ] know i'm going to play toad and my guess is his name's going to be todd you may be surprised oh never mind his name is canopia i think that's his name in uh japan so here we are i'm dropping bananas it's just it's the nes so there's only two [ __ ] buttons a and goddamn b all right so and then you do like quarter circle forward punch to like throw a projectile yeah there you go there we go you shot a mushroom it's just miserable though like the sprites and yes controllers yeah the controller is terrible we're doing this on a [ __ ] d-pad there's like the sprites are flickering constantly just all the time chunks missing at any given moment this game barely runs properly okay uh this sucks the timer's running out oh okay spit on his ass you gotta die you gotta spin are we even hitting each other what are moves movement is very sluggish yes it's oh it's terrible it's it's a miserable video game it's none of these games are good some of the games last time we were like hey this is kind of fun we will not be uttering that sentence today that is not an emotion we'll experience i think i have a short you can yeah the shoyukens are weird mario's shoryuken is like backwards we'll see it i can just like run away too monkey monkey oh and i just realized your name is donkey it's dk junior too like who the [ __ ] is spared a thought for dk junior except like me and where did dk jr come from uh well he came from a game called dk june or donkey kong jr hell yeah mrs donkey kong basically it was well donkey kong came out and then there's donkey kong jr and then there's donkey kong three there's no donkey kong two that's just what donkey kong jr is well donkey kong two is actually wario land three legend of the seven rings so yeah i don't know if we'll spend a ton of time on this one this is probably the shittiest of the bunch for some reason when you lose a match you have to hit continue it's just like i think playing multiplayer is just like we have usurped the single player mode for a minute in order to play a multiplayer match basically interesting that's like all i can gather i'm gonna play luigi because luigi's [ __ ] like broken in a bad way he's like pissing his pants yeah the the color sets are weird and look how tiny bowser is why am i so small manly i'm like tyler1 oh your name's just luigi so luigi only has a fireball he's a clone of mario who has like three actual moves he has only one of them actually straight worse yeah he just doesn't have a short you can but the thing is the ai can do the shore you can so i think it's just broken in single player it's very bizarre also we can look up the move list here by the way it's very simple a is easy tail flop yeah yeah here what though that's a very thrusty move i wonder if anybody played this how did you get this cartridge uh well it's a funny [ __ ] story i got a custom cartridge online it's oh god you didn't even make contact with me i bought this game for 40 [ __ ] dollars online wow that's the story absolutely worth it i think i'm gonna have a seizure looking at luigi's pants clipping through the floor and we will look at the cartridge the cartridge is amazing kick your [ __ ] face bowser the hitboxes are [ __ ] they're so bad i feel like just because i'm small i just have less power you can duck moves bowser is the hitbox advantage character in this game what the [ __ ] move it sucks like it's so hard to like approach yeah and this music some of the songs oh [ __ ] i'm stunned okay i want to scratch my face uh some of the songs in this game resemble mario kart songs and then some of them are just like ear piercing nonsense no oh my god we went in like omega slow motion i think that's because his gloves are white and he raises his hand up so it's like halfway up his face and the palette like extended into his face show you your crotch it's like [Laughter] and it's not even like ridley down be in smash where it like does a [ __ ] ton of damage or anything it's just like a normal move the [ __ ] peach has the most spammable move ever we should do a peach ditto it'll be hot fireball [Music] fire ball i can't do it grab you i'm gonna grab you now what should i miss the timer will run out get over here i'm going to grab you oh [ __ ] i'm stunned no yes no that was you know [Music] who wins oh too look at just like walk all the way back and then walk forward he's going to the store here he's just out for a [ __ ] stroll man i don't know how the nes works so the fact that this is the sprites are like oh yeah sometimes it's it's usually to do with multiple like complex sprites being on the same layer complex is a bit of strong fire oh it's because the timer ran out it looks like he cast the fireball and then bowser just instantly went like all right let me show off the [ __ ] cartridge this is such a dumb like nerd thing but it's amazing hold on let me get the webcam out cart fighter for the nes it's dark [ __ ] carton fighter it's styled after the street fighter 2 poster and i just want to draw attention to the fact that there's there's zangief wario and there's a dulcim goomba not seen in the game this is not a thing that happens in kart fighter wow yeah and it's got like luigi ken in the middle going like wow i am eclipsing the sun the thing is i i tried emulating it and i was like okay why does it look like [ __ ] why are all the sprites all flickery like that and then i went to go buy a cartridge of it and then i was like oh but it was still worth it so we if we both hover over the character it does this glitchy [ __ ] yeah lovely totally intended and meant to be in the game [Music] scooby-doo chase instantly starts so back and b is this like hair whip move it's just really good imagine actually having a move that has a hitbox it looks like it's a double hit but the second hit actually does nothing but i used it to cheat my way through the entire single player and uh you played the single player i played the single player to see if anything happened at the end and i wanted to like record it is there a story mode literally nothing happens you literally just fight all the characters in the game and then it goes well [ __ ] done [ __ ] wow it's a [ __ ] [ __ ] said that it was weird it goes i can't you spent 40 dollars on this and then it spits on your [ __ ] shoes but yeah i basically like the ai are incredibly dumb i set it to like the lowest level and uh i just uh the run the animation is so dopey yeah the music is awful yeah the music's so piercing this is one of the ones that's actually oh spin oh my god spin blade spin it's like an actual version of a mario kart song which is unusual ooh doesn't even look really like it isn't like peach early at all uh yeah so she's supposed to be kind of like most of the character designs remained like mario esque but for some reason they were like peach is now half chun li okay that's why she has like the boots and like the weird legs yeah exactly she got them praying mantis hands with the hair get ready for the hair i'm gonna whip you quick whip whip nickname whip if nate wait nip that flickering she's just like her entire body is facing out of existence and i have to continue god damn it all right well okay final round final round we gotta try every character at least i'll do yasi oh i guess oh god we're actually we've done them all we've done like we haven't done the koopa oh yeah koopa versus yasi i think you've done yeah [Music] just some mario enemies just throwing [ __ ] hands man just straight up throwing hands who wanted this like i mean since smash brothers we've known that this is the best thing in the world world star like smash bros is like goofy but that's when they freaking have their dukes up and they're like punching at the throat they're going for the jugular also i figured out to do a dash yeah he doesn't throw an egg or anything that would make sense yeah there's no egg it's smell shocked this is an infinite there's nothing he can do about this i can just like buffer it and chain them together whoa that was weird you like threw me to the right and flung off to the left yeah i want to see if it actually puts me in an egg hold on oh nice hitbox on that move that's really good no he just goes like [Laughter] yeah it just doesn't happen sometimes so uh this is a little bit of foreshadowing too this this stream and some of our other fighting game streams because after this would i stun you yeah [ __ ] get that one light kick in uh we're gonna play street them almost look good it's uh it's one hell of a game all right mario ditto to settle it all wait one of us it's just luigi yeah i think that's the second palette for mario what the [ __ ] so maybe when you're playing the ai it was just mario and green i'm pretty sure i saw luigi ai when you when you let the title screen go it goes to like demo mode of just two random characters my theory also goes with the fact that uh the [ __ ] hold on the wiki or the thing that has the move list it it lists moves for luigi but it just has question marks next to the inputs next to uppercut and flying kick so i don't [ __ ] know who knows but for mario it's like back forward a is sure you can and it's like a weird backwards shoryuken he like hits behind him it's very bizarre that didn't even do anything what the [ __ ] went right through your face time always goes out yeah the timer is very uh limited it just got so slow to like move around i don't know why i'm doing a luigi voice i'm mario the inside of luigi's mouth is green he's got like green teeth ooh get kicked in the face [ __ ] sure you can like usually assure you can goes forward a little bit it's so hard yeah it's really weird well the thing is like everything you really get punched away from the other person after every hit so it's really yeah to do the sure you can have it hit yeah and you can't like get a combo going [ __ ] that's what we call a cross-up [ __ ] that's what we call getting hit [ __ ] [Applause] and the same team that made this game also made a game called somari it's an nes game where it's mario in sonic world and just going through sonic world as mario it's like so mari i get it yeah uh you're gonna get looped to death my friend holy [ __ ] i feel like we got the jis yeah we can probably just get the [ __ ] out of here all right next game hold off on that because the good people at home have got to watch the intro i don't know if i've ever seen these controllers before genesis controller yeah they are a weird [ __ ] controller it's got like the xbox 360 d-pad everybody's favorite okay and then it's got a b and c which stands for cursed so this next game we have is balls yeah 3d fighting balls so this game is a clown game and uh you may know this this is probably most famous for an ad that ran about it that said tell santa you want balls for christmas last day but we are actually going to play the game rather than just chatting about it uh it's probably the best of the three games we're gonna play today and it has a bunch of dick jokes balls balls balls oh god there's literally a clown yeah you think you could defeat the jester to do that you gotta have balls cronk and boomer boom oh my god i forgot this gun so i played this like ages ago i i don't really remember too much about it but it's weird as [ __ ] well we got to do caveman versus monkeys it's perfect yeah the so the thing is the screen in the background just like [ __ ] kibitz's the whole time it says lick the mat it says some truly horrible things too kiss the canvas and so you may notice this is like fake 3d it's weird you can run around moving forward and back it's in like tekken 3d space oh weird yeah it's very bizarre and this is on the gem assist the same thing that ran like sonic 1. i got long arms yeah so we got weird moves i think it's like a is punch b is kick and c is jump [Music] flashback uh and then they uh they made oh you just [ __ ] vanished holy [ __ ] jesus i couldn't stop looking at shaq's face in the upper left like a nose kind of depending on his feelings yeah oh but this is this is one of those ones where there's like war to say their height yeah memphis is 5'7 weight 165 a mighty undead sorcerer who was once set apprentice thousands of years ago timer going down yeah the animation is quite good it's really good i don't think eric oh there was a skull there i don't think eric chahi worked on these animations which he was like the prolific like designer behind shields i'm not in the um yeah there we go take out the swords all the time oh he's so sad so it's not it's not like the worst thing this is definitely more fun than cart fighter yeah card fighter was probably really good shaq's girlfriend and longtime lover from this cat dimension whoa my god oh [ __ ] look at those guys in the background just drumming away what the [ __ ] jesus what is this oh my god sprites look like cart fighter now while we have done nothing to each other how have we done no damage how have we done no damage is she healing somehow or something she's healing there's like no damage at all she's healing a little bit i am healing the [ __ ] how was i doing that oh my god the other one looks like a creepypasta yeah they both look like a weird creep oh my god i don't know how fu you're eating big warriors [Laughter] so by the way delphine studios is a french game so there might be some weird translation such as big warrior i'm an all-star that's what you mean he just looks
