hey guys Omaha here today I'm gonna be going over the life domain subclass for the cleric and showing all the Spells and abilities if you want to constantly keep your teammates at full health and do a lot of radiant damage then the subclass might be for you so as a clerk you're going to get weapon proficiencies and simple weapons and morning Stars this is going to add your proficiency bonus to attack roles with these weapon types you're also going to get armor proficiencies and light armor medium armor and shields so wielding these armor types will not impose a disadvantage on your attack rolls or prevent you from casting spells you're going to start out with two level one spell slots and you're gonna have the class feature domain spells you gain spells from your domain they are always prepared to start with the level 1 spells guiding Bolt healing word inflict wounds Shield of faith and Bane you're also going to select from these seven can trips samaturgy sacred flame guidance resistance light blade Ward and produce Flame so as a cleric your spell casting ability is going to be based on wisdom and if you get your wisdom stat up to at least 16 your spell save DC will be 13. spell save DC is their spell difficulty class the higher this is the harder it is for enemies to resist your spells and your spell attack is going to be plus five a bonus to melee and arranged spell attacks improve your chance to hit with certain spells you're then going to choose your domain which is basically your subclass and for this video I'm choosing a life domain the life domain is an aspect of many good deities offering spells that protect and restore the Mind Body and Soul you're going to gain proficiency and heavy armor you're also going to get two life domain spells these are always prepared so they're not going to count against your maximum prepared spells those are going to be cure wounds four to 11 healing heal a creature you can touch and bless bless up to three creatures they gain a 1d4 bonus to attack rules and saving throws for 10 turns that's a concentration spell with a range of 30 feet and you're also going to have the subclass feature disciple of Life your devotion empowers your healing spells when casting a healing spell the target regains additional hit points equal to two plus a spells level so if you cast a level one healing spell you'll get two plus one equals three extra hit points and then you're gonna select one out of 21 of these deities these deities all have their own story and background in Baldur's Gate 3 and characters are going to see you differently depending on which one you choose and it's going to affect your relationship with some NPCs I'm gonna post the wiki link for these down in the description I don't think I'm going to be able to pronounce half of these you know what no I'm gonna read these and you guys have fun making fun of me down in the comments if you don't want to hear me read off all these names terribly I'll create a separate chapter for this and I'll put the link down in the description still say loon the lady of silver presides over the moon stars and navigation or power over the heavens preserve ancient lore and protect bastions of magical energy agma is the god of inspiration and invention sharing knowledge with the world through his bards and clerics unlike many other deities agma accepts all Mortal alignments into his clergy Kellem bore bare but distant kelimvore guides the dead to their appropriate plane in the afterlife his clergy provides last rites across feyron but also destroy Undead that have escaped kelimvore's judgment moradin the all Hammer is a Dwarven God worshiped by Smiths Artisans and miners alike he and larugur are constantly at odds corellen laratheon creator of the elves corellon laratheon oversees the Elven Pantheon as a whole providing blessings to those who study art magic and nature garl glitter gold the watchful protector is the king of gnomish Gods a deity of humor gem cutting protection and trickery yandala as the other of the halfling pantheon yandala is known for her kindness and open mind encouraging her followers to protect the home Hearth and nature loath a much reveled matriarch of the drow Pantheon Loth holds sway over spiders the underdark and the wicked creatures of the demon Webb Pitts our primary goal is to corrupt all drow transforming them into heartless cultists groom shh the one-eyed is the gorks patron deity a God of War conquest and victory at all costs he has held an ancient and immutable grudge against the Elven Pantheon since corellian lotharian took his eye Tiamat the mini mod is a rolling mass of avarice and hate currently trapped within the nine Hills the dragon God of greed eternally plots her Escape as do her many Fanatics in world of toril oh boy illustri illustre is the goddess of good aligned drow Beauty song and Freedom the dark Maiden desires balance between all Races and struggles against her mother lolt's corrupting aim corrupt aims lathander the morning Lord is the god of the Dawn and spring of birth and Beginnings he is invoked to Christen both new Ventures and New Life his followers Embrace growth and renewal and despise the undead Alice represents the uncaring and destructive force of nature his followers see Life as a set of random effects and a sea of chaos and take what they can or who can say when Talos will strike next Tamora is the bright-faced goddess of Fortune who favors those who Gamble and set out on adventure with the utmost skill and daring Maliki Maliki is the goddess of forests and the creatures that live within them she is a remote and spiritual deity often spoken of in the quietest of forests I'm gonna hit level two you're gonna get a health increase you're gonna get a third level one spell slot the class feature Channel Divinity charges so you get the ability to channel Divine energy starting with two effects turn Undead in an effect determined by your domain rapunised by short or long rest so you can have one of these charges to start with turn Undead pray to turn all Undead that can see you for three turns the affected entity must move away from the creature that turned it it can't take actions bonus actions or reactions other than Dash or try to escape an effect that prevents a movement ends upon taking damage range is 30 feet and it's a wisdom save it's gonna use one action and one channel Divinity charge here's that in action with a room full of Undead foreign life that's going to come from our domain of Life three healing evoke a healing energy that restores your allies no effect on Undead and constructs range of 30 feet and it uses an action and one charge of Channel Divinity that ability actually scales through their levels so at level two you're gonna heal for six years preserve life scale to level 12. level two alien 6 hp all right at level three you're gonna get another Health increase you're at your fourth level one spell slot and two level two spell slots you're gonna get the Spells blindness calm emotions enhanceability old person Prayer of Healing protection from Poison silence spiritual weapon and warding bond then you're gonna get the two life domain spells that are always prepared Aid feel your allies increase their hit point maximum by Five Points until long rest range of 30 feet and it's an action and lesser restoration cure a creature from disease poison paralysis or blindness that's melee range all right at level four you're gonna get another Health increase your third level two spell slot your fourth can trip and you're gonna choose your first feat all right at level five there's a health increase two level three spell slots a class feature destroy Undead when you successfully turn an undead creature it also takes 4 to 24 radiant damage [Applause] then the Spells animate dead Beacon of Hope bestow curse daylight Bane death Glyph of warding Mass healing word protection from energy remove curse revivify speak with dead and spirit Guardians and you're gonna get the two life domain spells always prepared revivify revive a companion the return to life with one hit point with the range of 30 feet and Beacon of Hope your allies will regain the maximum hit points possible when healed they also gain advantage on wisdom saving throws and death-saving throws for 10 turns that's a range of 30 feet it's also a concentration spell at level six there's a health increase third level three spell slot you get your second Channel Divinity charge and you're gonna get the subclass feature blessed healer healing others heals you as well when you cast a healing spell of level one or higher on another creature you regain hit points equal to two plus the Spells level here I'm gonna cast a level two healing word so it should heal me for two plus two hit points of four protection alrighty level seven you're gonna get another Health increase you're gonna get your first level four spell slot and you're gonna get the Spells banishment freedom of movement and you're gonna get the two life domain spells death Ward and guardian of faith and again these are always prepared so they don't count against your maximum prepared spells level eight there's another Health increase you're gonna get your second level four spell slot and you're gonna get the action Divine strike life there's a one to eight radiant damage strike a foe with your weapon as it becomes wreath and gleaming Radiance that's a melee range there's actually a lot more to this than what it shows here so it's actually going to take your weapon damage and then it's gonna add that radiant damage to it as well then when you select it it's actually going to ask you if you want to do a melee or if you want to do ranged if you have a ranged weapon so I have a 1d6 piercing bow it's gonna do one D6 piercing and 1d8 of radiant oh I'll see if you just do a normal main hand attack during your turn it's gonna ask you if you want to turn it into a Divine strike and again same thing applies on the arrows these are gonna work on opportunity attacks as well it's going to ask you if you want to use this foreign and then you're going to choose your second feet all right at level nine you're gonna get another Health increase your third level four spell slot your first level five spell slot and you're gonna get the Spells Contagion spell evil and good lame strike insect plague and planar binding and then the life domain spells which are going to replace these spells because they're always prepared Massacre wounds unleash a soothing hum of energy that heals you in nearby allies range of 60 feet and it's going to do six to 27 healing and greater restoration touch a creature and negate any charm petrification stun or curse afflicting it alright level ten you're gonna get another Health increase and you're gonna get a second level five spell slot and divine intervention you can cast divine intervention to invoke your God's Aid once used this can never be used again so you call upon your deity and your moment of greatest need once they interfere your deity will never do so in this manner again the Caster can only use this feature once in their adventure and that's an action so you actually have a couple of options when it comes to divine intervention what you want to use there's four different options divine intervention Sunder the heretical eight to eighty radiant damage call upon your deity to bring forth a radiant cataclysm upon on all nearby enemies on Save targets will still take half damage uses a wisdom save and has a range of 50 feet divine intervention golden generosity call upon your deity to provide you with a rich Bounty of potions and camp supplies the bestowed Bounty lasts until long rest a range of 60 feet and it's an action there's divine intervention opulent Revival resurrect Fallen companions with half their hit points and restore all nearby alleys as if they had long rested a Caster can only use this feature once in their Adventure range of 60 feet and it's in action and then there's divine intervention arm thy servant call upon your deity to Grant you a legendary weapon forged in the fires of your holy Bond the weapon is permanent so it gave me devotees mace 7 to 19 damage of bludgeoning and radiant has a weapon enchantment and receives a plus three bonus to attack rolls and Deals plus three bonus damage it also comes with the ability healing incense Aura does one to four healing emanate a soothing Aura you and nearby allies regain one to four hit points at the start of your turn for 10 turns this has a range of 30 feet and it refreshes on a long rest and it uses a bonus action so that means every turn for 10 turns you and all your allies within 30 feet are going to regain one to four hit points here's golden generosity foreign chest stowed bounty got camp supplies potion of flying potion of supreme healing repotions of superior healing more camp supplies elixir of heroism remedial potion Supreme elixir of Arcane cultivation lecture of cloud giant strength and elixir of universal resistance here's Senator the heretical [Music] and here's opulent Revival [Music] so it revives dead and downed allies now you're going to get this same weapon no matter which deity you choose I've tested a couple of them didn't test every single one but I tested a few I think it got the same weapon every time and unfortunately based on what I've tested so far none of these spells change based on which deity you chose in the beginning of the game at level 11 there's another Health increase and you're gonna get your level six spell slot you're gonna get this level six spells blade barrier create Undead harm heal Heroes feast and a planar Ally and finally we've got level 12. you get another Health increase and then you can choose your third feet all right and that's going to wrap it up for the
