$50 vs $500 WALK ON WATER Shoes! *BUDGET CHALLENGE*

today we are going to attempt to build shoes that allow you to walk on water and if that wasn't challenging enough we're each going to have a different budget to determine our budget we're into the park let's go wow i love teleporting whoever can keep their shoes on gets the best budget look at this hell hey hey no no no no no no no no one stop i got him when she left to the store we are now at walmart i really miss the store don't you jeff no you don't you don't miss it i hate walmart what about home depot that's where we're going next i hate home people i'm just gonna love home depot if i could get two of these this would be so op so in order to get two of those it's actually only gonna be 156 bucks so i'm still gonna have a lot of money left over for details and all the other epic stuff [Music] so i need some bolts here because i'm going to be bolting some shoes i got to my flotation devices so i'm going to actually just get to wear shoes and walk on water it's going to be legit [Laughter] we're back from the store it's time to get buildy so we can get walking on water are you guys ready i'm ready to walk on water are you red bull ready now i'm going to be attaching these shoes to these boards with these bolts whoa and now i'll be attaching all the boards together with big bolts to keep it nice and solid and this rope is going to attach them side inside so it'll be able to move like this and stay stable first i gotta start drilling some holes in some shoes i hope this works the smell of rubber and then it honestly just feels so wrong seeing you do that it may feel wrong but me winning is gonna feel right okay what the heck i got a bonus anybody who finishes first gets an extra point rob you just cracked half of your board in half i did everything is fine and it's still going according to plan i have a little bit of the difficulty here but i've got a solution as well we're going to tape this on here just like so temporarily so we're gonna we're gonna feed this wire through here and then i'll be able to grab it and then we'll be able to feed this strap right through these holes and that is gonna work [Music] absolutely perfectly so now we've got our ratchet strap which is gonna be holding the boot on these are steel toe boots so that way they don't compress at all i really need that bonus point because i had the 50 budget i had the lowest budget hey check it out my first shoe is attached to my boogie board no i already had my first shoe attached mine looks absolutely clean yours looks like a boot with a piece of rope i'll admit that looks really cool i'm gonna walk around and i'm just gonna have these giant shoes it's gonna be great tape them nice and good i can't see anything currently my hair is in the way this is what i call a i don't know what i'm doing not i'm all done taping this has been one huge rush session because i'm trying to finish first but and good news just finished taping both of them we're going to create like a rope type thing with the with the tape and then tape it on and done no i would that's right rob we have other opportunities to throw them out of the water so let me demonstrate to you how this is gonna work let's see if it can actually pass the land test if it doesn't even pass the land test then i'm in trouble you can loosen the straps so you can allow your foot to go in oh that fits nicely oh congratulations chris you win the bonus point yay hey jeff what i'm the second person to finish that means you're the last and you know what i noticed i noticed that my boat is basically the same as your boat but with less steps well mine's gonna be secure and not gonna fall apart while yours is i don't think so because in our sea raft video i used a bunch of duct tape and those air mattresses did not come apart i'm tired but i did it now i just need to attach them correctly i'm gonna put the rope underneath this bolt that's gonna go loop around this go to this one and i'm gonna tighten them down my shoes are complete these work perfectly it's really easy to walk and i think i'm gonna be able to walk on water that's actually very sick jeff i actually like that a lot it's nice because these are very light it's pretty effortless let's just hope that you are able to float right bud so we're we are going to head to the pool and we're going to test these out you just stole my fire [Music] so we are moving on to our first challenge with the water shoot the first test you can win two points one for floating and one for being able to walk and if you walk all the way across the pool with your water shoes you get five additional points i'm feeling pretty nervous i've never walked on water before so this is a first robert not gonna lie it looks like you went to a junkyard and put these together um yeah well all right we're going to stand you up good luck oh your big boy i hope my foamy flops work oh dude that's actually holding up pretty well they're floating bob what if your duct tape breaks and you do the splits oh no we gotta watch one point for floating let's see if you can get your second point by walking go it's working i don't feel like i'm going anywhere laura keep going keep going i'm go faster faster it's working he's kind of making sideways he's rotating that's weird your form is very terrible come on keep walking turn me around okay stabilize there we go keep going i'm trying oh looks like he walks like an inch every like 30 seconds i think that he needs to build up momentum and we're going to keep moving i'm honestly extremely impressed with his foamy flip-flop no i'm not going anywhere anymore oh there you are keep going over here i'm coming look at this come here rob your straps are breaking no not the straps he's almost here i can't reach out to you you got to make it all the way no i'm so close ah robert i am honestly very impressed with your foamy flaps so we're all surprised by this feet but no pun intended jeff and i got to see if ours work and then there's going to be race and other crazy stuff so make sure you stay tuned for that robert does have seven points though so that's pretty impressive at first i felt like i wasn't going anywhere but then i developed this little side step and that propelled me up basically three-fourths of the way and then i even back out and i feel very accomplished with my budget all right jeff your shoes obviously look a lot better crafted you got metal bolts you got these shoes that i don't even know how that how does that sing on that's pretty cool i'm an engine knob so uh we'll see how yours compared to robs all right help me up dude i'm really proud of my boogie boots i think i'm going to crush the competition so i'm going to ride the wave to victory bro so jeff remember if you fall you lose your full point all right all right jeff you are off and i'm walking this is hard oh you're doing that you're sinking are sinking they're sinking below the water this is hard he's fine my belly flopped but you don't get a 40 point dagger i also don't get the five points i don't think you get any points at all i get one point for floating well that was hilarious he totally belly flopped all right chris you're up how are you feeling after seeing jeff fall i'm kind of nervous yeah i almost died well here begins the float test i will be your lifeguard you're gonna save you if you fall in so don't be scared these are stable these are real stable how does it feel he's walking so easily dude look at that oh there's water getting in my canoe oh there's water holes in it he played like six holes in his canoe it's working though it's actually working more efficiently than rocks was come on dude i just gotta get across i don't think i can track across the ocean like this but i do think i could get across the pool chris you're almost there go and get there yeah yours is just filling up with water i need to fix that how the heck are the lowest shoes winning i don't know magic on to challenge number two we're all gonna race first person to the other side if you make it gets five points second place gets three points last place gets one point on your marks get set go i gotta walk slower if i don't call it another timeline don't fall no yes first place second place [Music] this last round is the survive the ball barrage challenge if you survive the ball barrage we can try to push each other down the last man saying wins first place wins 10 points second place wins six points last place wins two all right three two one go wow wow [Music] oh his false engineering sunk himself all right me versus you big boy my boat sabotaged itself dude i just got 10 points i am so excited that i won my last challenge chris you got nine points jeff you got 12 and rob in the lead with 16 points [Applause] i had the highest budget and i was the last anyways rob gets 200 to buy whatever sneakers he wants oh i think i might go buy a couple of vans i won the challenge we're now at the mall we're gonna head into the vans and get some shoes we just finished with the shoe shopping i got two pairs of shoes and one slides we really hope you enjoyed today's
