25 OLDEST Minecraft Glitches that STILL WORK

hey what's going on guys slow down zip here here's the 25 oldest bugs that still work as of minecraft 1.14 these glitches are still in game and have yet to be fixed and this one is over five years old and some of them will be that old as well so stay tuned number one discovered by Yahoo deter nyan tame dogs twerk when they're sitting on slime blocks yes this is a bug that is over five years old and nice squats dude you're gonna have glutes of Steel anyways we move on bug number two this is for version one point four point two of minecraft yes ten versions ago discovered by Jack McAllen what a minecart turns the player inside does not some of you will remember a time in Minecraft where if you look straight ahead your camera angle would turn with the minecart so that you would always be following along with the direction the minecart was facing well ten versions ago that stopped working and has been replaced with this camera angle not changing at all personally I kind of like how it used to work but this isn't the worst either we move on to bug number three version 13 wo for a that's right 2013 a bug over six years old discovered by Connor step II minecarts unlike boats don't slide on ice so we've got a boat here we've got a minecart here we'll see that if we go ahead and put the boat on we could slide around just fine on our ice however you try and do the very same with a minecart you're gonna be met with a little bit of a different experience check it out no movement none at all it's kind of absurd you can't even move while you're in the minecart itself although that appears to be the same on any blog yeah anyway before we get to bug number four a quick lesson so that you understand what you're about to see z-fighting is a term that explains when two textures are in the same place at the same time creating a constantly changing and glitchy looking texture in the area that layers the two layers overlap so check this out bug number four from 1.5.2 of minecraft also discovered by Connor snappy wolf snouts have z-fighting at the base underneath so look at this pup right now you can kind of see the textures moving about what kind of wildly and randomly right here where I'm kind of circling with my crosser that is Z fighting textures this wolf you know he's got more problems than just working you gotta get help dude seriously put fighting with yourself there Z fighting whatever it is point being number 5 is 1.9 point zeros version of Minecraft and it was discovered by prior knowledge arrows in mid-flight gain particles when real Oggy so we have a chest here with a bow and some arrows now look what happens I'm gonna switch into survival mode you don't necessarily need me this vibe mode to replicate this but check it out we shoot an arrow directly into the air you can see the particles that came from the arrow and you can see here that it will slowly land do its thing fantastic but now look what happens we fire this arrow and then immediately after quit the game go back to single-player go back to bugs now look at what happens the moment this world reloads in you'll see that this arrow has some extra particles that are attached to it namely these weird-looking ones that are blue squigglies and not only that but the arrow will continue to move back and forth in an extreme glitch like manner until you head over by it and as you can see here it's gone just like that our next glitch number 6 from version 1.6.2 discovered by helper oval until you sprint the speed effect does not work through portals so this command block just gave us an awesome speed effect however if we don't sprint through the portal on the way back you'll note that despite us still having a speed effect on the other side of this portal we are moving at normal speed you see the speed effect not doing anything but the moment we sprint well it reengage --is once again very very peculiar do not take this path here ok I guess we're better left to head over here to bug number 7 from version 1.4 my to discovered by Michael wahb's logging out in midair resets your fall damage so we've got a little demonstration area right here to show you exactly what I mean hold I'm gonna turn the clouds on Oh clouds we're on they just weren't anywhere nearby oh boy peeing check it out normally we'd take fall damage the moment we hit the ground right here but instead we're gonna do the same thing quit the game head back to single-player mode load in the world once more and look at what has happened we've avoided all fall damage use this to your advantage in any amplified worlds or anywhere where you might damage it if you want even more bug video action you can see on screen right now that we've got another 25 bug this video that just went up a couple weeks ago so you can click behind the corner to visit that for now bug number 8 from version 1.5.2 discovered by Mickey Peterson saplings can still grow with a dirt block above them so if we were to go ahead and grab ourselves a sapling and some bone meal place the sapling down and then try and grow the tree you'll see that a tree will grow right through the dirt block even the wood it goes right through it poor tree they did him dirty yeah yeah sorry bug number 9 version 1.4.2 discovered by Jack and calling-- rails not consistently placed in the players direction so notice how we play some of these rails right here look what happens when I place one down look it's facing sideways sideways sideways no matter what direction I'm looking it will always play sideways this direction however if I were to try and face this way you can see that it is no longer placing sideways it's always going to place specifically heading towards a both south and north perspective it is not directional however the moment you connect it to another rail it will turn number 10 from version one point four point three discovered by Connor step II the first and second snow layers of snow do not have their own particles instead they show off the block below them as particle so look what happens the moment we sneak over the stone the yellow gold the purple perper the red t whoops anyways check it out look see you'll get all the different particle colors as we move around it's very different than what you might expect to see if you were on a full snow block instead y'all busy yet you know this path is getting crazier and crazier Hensley what did you do oh yeah today's maps by hands out by the way a special thanks bug number 11 from version 1.6.2 also discovered by owe you man Connor signs have z-fighting when placed on top of each other so once again you've got this flickering mess you have to look at every time you decide to stack some signs hideous over here we've got another boat number 12 from version one point four point four discovered by haga boob hog ative despite being made of flammable materials a number of blocks that should not that should burn do not so check out all these babies now we can see that even new blocks as a 1.14 are also not burning stables made a wood loom made of wood barrels banners crafting tables just beds all with heavy wood components none of them burning this used to not be the case maybe Mojang decided to spare us the mercy of losing our chests and having it burn and lose all the items it has inside bug number 13 from britain 1 point 4 point 4 discovered by charms ok John hi John slope detector rails powered down but not up so look what happens when I grab this minecart and place it right on the center area you can see here on the bottom powered on the top was not receiving any power look again place right in the center top no power bottom was powered no one knows why this happened well me someone does but I don't Buck number 14 from version 1.2 very old discovered by prior knowledge and VLEs falling on crops destroys the anvil seriously you don't like to see something insane look at that oh oh there goes the water well that's ok check it out look break break break break break break who'd of thought but anvils do not stand a chance against wheat as you can see anvils have no problem taking over other blocks places such as water bug number 15 way back from 2013 discovered by crave chest names can be longer than the chests graphic user interface allows but ahem play look Oh a terrific we where we crack we agree you can see if you zoom in right here check it out there are letters that are appearing off the side of the screen one and two and three and four and you can see and off the screen the arrow goes right through eggs different story what no one wants you looks like chickens can make it through cobwebs but no snowballs no eggs just arrows just little arrows oh wow Hillary's exploring on his own hi next up we've got bug number 17 from version 13 wo6 a discovered by Connor by flicking very fast you can place two lily pads with one click switch to survival mode for this bucket man I take my already being in that mode this one's pretty hard to do so if I can't end up getting it right away well I'll just show you the final results but the idea here is you can create a ghost lily pad by right clicking here fast enough as you can see we've got a full stack of lily pads the moment we have two lily pads down but only one lily pad missing you'll know that we've done it right this is gonna take a while but the basic action that you take here y'all ready you got it you got it quickly like one no no no not like that here you go come on what get naturally I get it right after see look we're gonna get a lily pad 64 and then look you break this one you don't get anything back for that guy you got to be the ultimate fast boy mcjones it's real it's real okay trust me bug number 18 from version one point five point one discovered by crave TNT placed into the ground over a fence falls through the fence so we've got a little up sitting area set up here with a nice fence in between we got some TNT we've got a flint and steel don't mind if I do and down you go through the fence and as you can see no problems whatsoever it made it all the way through I couldn't tell you why but hey it could make for some very interesting traps wait did that one go down oh boy okay good they did it thought it was about to be in trouble bug number 19 from version 1.6.2 discovered by a diego oliveira you can delay fall damage death by sleeping interesting we're gonna go ahead and turn things tonight and fall all the way from the top of this pillar on to this bed below and if we happen to right-click the moment we're about to hit the bed we can go ahead and go to sleep before we take any fall damage so let's see how we do down we go please nope let's try again huh get it baby whoop third time's the charm please here we go here we go here we go baby check it out I hit the bed and I'm dead takes like perfect timing but as you can see it works just fine nowhere I guess it's a bug it doesn't work just fine now but number 20 from one point seven point four discovered by crave arrows deal knock back but eggs and snowballs don't when fired from a dispenser just to show you though see oops was on peaceful look what happens we shoot an egg at this creeper he gets knocked back look what happened snowball knocked back and as you would expect with a dispenser with arrows you get some knocked back but if you try and do that with a dispenser snowball no knock back dispenser egg no knock back what a little chick it yo new best friends ever bug 21 from 1.6.2 discovered by crate health boost doesn't show up through portals until damaged switch to survival for the bug test I'll do it now look we've got double hearts at the bottom right here for little test and to the portal and when you exit walk back into the one you just came out of then take the diamond path ooh interesting for now though let's go through the portal so you can see that our second health bar is gonna be a little bit of a problem on the way through on the other side check it out even though we've got health boost five we no longer see any sort of health boost by our health bar down there so that and so we headed back through the portal and here we go lovely oh look and then the sign disappeared on its own - nice touch and Zoid bug number 22 from version alpha 1.2 this bug is about 9 years old scoured by prior knowledge anything through different nether portals can lead to the same one oh I I get it cuz that's a bit I just did you're so clever enjoyed both number 23 from one point seven point four discovered by dex Khazars lightning causes water behind it to be invisible so look and maybe turn your volume down a little bit now we got an editing thanks Aaron check it out you can see through the water behind wherever this lightning is striking you look closely there's a little depth be part of the water over there you can see right down through it when you're looking for lightning and it will go wherever you end up walking now we can see yeah that's cool too more bugs number 24 from 13 w 16 a discovered by Argus Filch and that a wizard from Harry Potter mobs dangling from leads can build up extra fall damage we've got a lead here and we've got a victim in a pig mm-hmm so let's go ahead oh this is this is this is mean but hey it's for science there's something get down there stop resisting ah now look what you've done you're on the wrong side anyways he's a regular pig watch you push him off he does not die he'll take some fall damage does not die we'll do the same to this pig that has been LED or deleted really yeah why all put up a fight the moment I got a rope on him can you please do it on this side though and as you can see they're still building up damage despite being quite whoa well that's awkward not only want to talk about this and the final bug version all discovered by prior knowledge just keep walking you'll see it I mean it's totally wacky alright let's do it we're gonna get closer and closer and closer to this lovely wood creation and what you'll start to see as you get closer you'll start to notice a crazy visual glitch or design starts to appear on screen depending on where you're looking specifically I know you've all seen this before whenever you've got a nice big old pattern thing you can see that odd-looking visual glitch so it's going to create a mode see if we can get you see look it's like following all around very interesting looking always been here it's never gone away but those are our 25 glitches make
