[Music] so [Music] what month is it kevin it is i think it's um august maybe you saw it in the last video 50 bucks a month uh after the first month is free and we're just getting going on it now but that's all right kevin's busy yeah and i have the room sawzall's the best or just tap it lightly with a hammer well no we hit did it in his last video with top of the hammer to fall apart spent all his money on these uh milwaukee torch blades which are supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread so we're gonna see if they are hold on get the hoses out of the way are you taking this out too i would i would almost get rid of this right away and then we can bring that in the in the bench and then i can get vince welding that is your insurance up to date it's self-employed you don't have insurance you can get life insurance on yourself i just i just feel bad for your wife that's all you got a nice telehandler that we can i know the brakes don't work and the clutch doesn't work but it extends nicely right yeah yeah yeah so then we can like put the beams in place and lift a little do the hydraulics thing it won't fit in here though i can open the door that's why i did this i was thinking ahead i was thinking we'd use the kubota for the beans and telehandling i lost my forks we should i gotta buy a set of forks i gotta set it on let's get started oh okay yeah just leave those here yeah all the time but this gets steered forward no just the forks i don't want your skin that's fun [Music] you're all sweaty too what's the matter with you this is winter work always complaining couldn't come this morning because it was raining it was nice and cool when it was raining kevin yeah for farmers [Music] so you can tell the leaves are still on the trees by the time this gets laid flat there won't be any leaves there'll probably be a little bit of snow flying around yeah well there might be spring leaves on no don't say that all right so what are you doing well we're trying to shout this thing out but it is welded everywhere so we've decided to tackle it a few feet at a time okay so it's like all these brackets that are we're holding the tanks the foam marker tanks they're welded all in there so this piece here was not straight down it's got like an angle on it so then it was welded like this so wherever the welds were cut in behind but anyways we'll make it look nicer this time yep or somebody will put it so this the the blower is just sitting there yeah this is just sitting here right yeah but it's not welded or anything stupid as i cut right it was welded there i cut that out okay but this one here is all welded into the back frame that one's gonna be a fun one though are you you're not replacing this one though are you i don't think so and then this one here i think we're just going to plate it on the outside i was going to say if that one's rotten just plate that but don't get too carried away because this one obviously is there's nothing left to plate and this one like this one was it's just the middle so i think we're just going to put some quarter inch plate on it can you stop like spilling oil and everything on the nice new stuff well don't worry by the time we get those in and it'll be all weathered off because yeah i'm working on the c10 and the gto and i don't feel like helping you right now because my hand look my hands are even actually i just want to help when it's ready for paint yeah no no not at all actually i want to hold the camera anyway you keep cutting away and then we'll get uh vince welding these in yeah nice hey what's going on kevin well i've been here every day for the last six months grinding away no no he's been here once in six months and today but we finally he finally cut enough off that i think we can uh at least tack this one in and get what get vince going tomorrow yeah yeah so you're leaving this one there's enough meat on this one yeah well we'll plate we'll plate this one here just for some extra support because it's probably getting thin too yeah and this one as well okay and then this one's getting replaced completely and that one's getting replaced completely that one's fine too oh okay [Music] stick it under those something like that all right so i was grinding and cutting for 15 to 20 hours on that thing and then rich goes and sends me on a little mission to get him some gas to forklift and then he takes the glory of putting the beam in nice guy i'm glad that's done because that job sucks they don't fill up with water and swell up in the winter time and crack they manufacture them they never put weeping holes in the bottom so they can drain out and they just rot out real quick usually would make that platform like the weldment itself just right on the ground and button it back up and tying into it makes a little bit more tricky no fitting table things like that makes a little tough [Music] what you buying kevin what am i buying i don't know what we're buying ideas there's always ideas more stuff to hang out in your yard yeah i don't want it the reason we're looking for this is because kevin is being very leery about renting a crane to lift the fertilizer sprayer on and off of the tailgate and i told him if we do it quick it's 400 bucks and then it's done i don't want to rush the job everything goes wrong when you rush your job everything goes wrong when you show up with something like this on the job today is the day look at this it's inside a shop [Music] it's christmas well it is white out it is white it's not nice outside at all so what's going on so we're gonna get this thing ready to come off this tank um so we're gonna lift it off with the crane before we uh throw the other one on so we're just getting it unhooked and we're gonna get it like we're gonna take the mud flaps off so that it can sit on something it's that easy it's that easy that is grab and pull there we go and then we're gonna unhook these uh links down here so those bolts look like they're gonna be rusted these ones are probably gonna get cut well then these lights that are nice on here and all wired through everything you're going to have to unhook those and pull the wires out put them on the new one but you're leaving the are you taking the booms off too well we'll just to take it all off in one chunk yeah laying on the ground this whole conglomeration's gotta come off um while all the hose is unhooked everything runs like the pumps up front so all the hoses will have to come on are you using the same pump or is everything everything's coming up everything's different this is for when you're filling right you want to rev the engine up you can just rev the engine up from here oh nice so this is where all the like the hydraulics for the booms and everything is but they're all quick couplers as long as they they actually come off this got a raven controller in it and uh for the liquid and uh the one that comes with dickie john controllers yeah but i have seen air flows with ravens so i don't know if we can make that work or if we put the other ones in but you so you went and grabbed the controller that was laying in somebody else's yard well yeah the controllers we have them they're in the house okay but the everything runs off so we need a radar this is the ground speed sensor right okay we'll so have to calibrate that to the controller to that because it's been calibrated to whatever radar was in last one whatever size tires right yeah yeah yeah all right so the kevin did buy a really nice forklift but we're not going to use it because uh we're gonna use it just not for this yeah there you go so uh local crane companies 10 minutes down the road he charges four hours minimum and i think in four hours we can get the crane here boom the tank off set it in the yard um and then drive the crane and this to my house and then boom the new box all right it'll be really easy this thing will be off in about an hour here we go [Music] all right these two air lines are for the control at the back they can come on hooks and then this cable has to come off and that is for sparger control so hopefully that will unhook looks like it might so we got pretty much all these wires tore off up running back here yes i am stealing this light off of there we got those off those are cut and this is pretty much on hooks i don't know where this line is for yet that's the last one that cables on i'm gonna take i think that'll scoot by you should be all right with leaving that on that's not coming out and we got the hoses unhooked here so i think we can call for the crane [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] therapy [Music] [Music] [Music] oh there you go [Music] uh unless you want to put like a rubber insulator in between raise it up in here oh you know what it did have that not anymore that's why we're uh we're low well what you can do is go home and pick it up with your fancy forklift tuck it under and drop it back down that's not gonna happen you don't have it dude i didn't even think about it no i'll just move it i think we're gonna yeah put a couple packs on there well that's fine yeah yeah i'm just going to make it here for you so you can drive home we're getting it for you yeah i think so finished ready for the field kevin's field how many hours how many hours we got into replacing just the that frame i stopped counting yeah depressing way too many way way too many vince the problem was that i didn't want to work on it kevin didn't want to work on it and vince didn't want to work on it so once we had it flipped upside down it was like oh this is a lot bigger project than we thought it was going to be yeah everything was welded and welded and all welded to everything like that yeah now i know why i know other guys that have these things that when they rot out they just grab them scrap them but anyway we're over half now we have to weld all the hose holders hoops on this side we have to weld the brackets on to hold it tight and we didn't weld those on before we put it on here because we figured we'd have them off an inch and then we have to grind them off again yeah so that makes sense plunk it on and then roll them off yeah um the we were counting on the rubbers being in between um the tank and this frame but there was none so we opted to not use any rubbers in between but you guys should definitely use rubber always [Laughter] but we'll weld that up um and then run all the hoses hang all the broken bent uh brackets back on again new filter and then we gotta um do the jigsaw puzzle what line goes where yeah you get to do the jigsaw puzzle oh we you said you did you and yeah we're almost ready it's just like that it'll be done star wipe um we uh we didn't paint that obviously because we got a pile of welding to do on the outside yet splashed some paint on the bottom but that was it um but the those beams will outlast the rest of this rig by decades you'll see this in a scrap yard all completely rotted with weather cracked tires and somebody's going to say you know what i just want to buy those frames the yard looks much better i can imagine it with this thing gone he said that when the combine was here yeah i know why did i think that this was going to be any different okay you're just like me you're a yes man yeah and you go yeah it's a great idea let's do it and then you go what are we doing we should do it at my place so we get better videos anyway here we go
